Well, everyone been raving about Oliverii North so went there for our anniversary and it absolutely sucked! Note: last time we went it was pretty good! Anyway the grouper (if it was actually grouper) was awful. My husband ordered it and I ate the veggies off his plate and all I could taste was fish. Grouper shouldn't be that fishy unless it's not fresh. He didn't finish even 1/2 Of a small serving. I ordered the vodka ravioli and was served tortellini. I decided to put my big girl pants on and eat it cuz it would have thrown the whole dinner off to correct it. It sucked but my husband said it was better than his shitty grouper. The owner (?) walked around to every table except ours. The flies were not helping either. And why do they feel the need to have news on on the only TV in the place solidified our decision to never return. The beer and wine were good tho. read more

My husband and I went to eat after the theater show in Antioch. We had not been back in 3 years because of bad food and service. We were both very surprised to see a new menu that offered a wide variety of Italian food. I would definatly give it 5 stars for food and service. Very nice staff. Everyone we interacted with was very warm and friendly. We had someone come to our table when we first arrived just to greet us and wish us a happy new year. The waitress was great and accommodating to any requests we had. The bathroom was clean. We ordered pizza and the crust was crackery and delicious! We shared some and everyone liked it. My family said they enjoyed their food as well: salad (raspberry vinegarette ), spaghetti, eggplant parm, all delish! They offered us a free dessert for my sister's birthday as well. Great dinner tonight. The restaurant is very cute. It isn't huge but definitely has a charm. Our waitress was very kind and friendly. She was attentive but not bothersome. I ordered the angel hair with tomato (it has a fancy name I don't know) and it was awesome. U can tell they made it as they prepared my meal and it had such good flavor. The people I have dinner with got the mussels with white wine sauce over linguini and the other got the mussels, shrimp and squid in red sauce over fettuccine. They both raved over their dishes. The salads were good with the house Italian and they give you great bread. We will definitely be back! read more

It is our go-to restaurant in Antioch. The Italian dishes are wonderful. The wine-of-the-week never disappoints. But...but...BUT the best part of Oliverii North is the impeccable and attentive service we ALWAYS receive. From the personal greeting by the host/hostess to the quick seating to the full (always) water glasses to the wait staff to the quick ordering and fast food delivery to our table...and of course, the owner-Sal-personally visits every table and doesn't forget a face. Tried Oliverii for the first time 2nite. We started with the fried Calamari and it was perfect. My whitefish was excellent. Our sever Barb was terrific. The staff was courteous and attentive. We were greeted by Salvatore the manager and I met the owner on my way out. We will be back! read more

What a fantastic evening celebrating my daughter and her boyfriend's Engagement at Oliverii North! We wanted to find a very special restaurant to go to to celebrate and Oliverii North was our #1 choice. The whole evening was so special! I was in the same party as another reviewer (Carole R). We did not have reservations, but came early (5:30). We got seated quickly, but sat for 10 minutes before getting a menu, then another 10 minutes when someone (not a waitress) asked for a drink order. We had to ask for a waitress to take our order after waiting 20 minutes. We got our drinks and put in our food order at 5:50. My dad ordered the pasta fagioli soup and was told it would cost extra (not as the manager stated in Carole R's review it would take longer). We were ok with that. We waited another 15 minutes for our soup/salads; the salads were good, but the pasta fagiloi was lukewarm. We then waited 40 minutes for our entrees (from eating our soups/ salads; 1 hr 20 min from when we placed our order). Nobody came by and provided an update. We asked the waitress when our food would be ready and we're told a few more minutes. We had to ask the manager when we'd be served and he said he noticed that we'd been sitting without our food for awhile, but yet did absolutely nothing to remedy it. When we finally got our food, my dad's sea bass was cold. Our other entrees were okay. Most of the table had two drinks a piece. We were asked if we wanted anything else while we were waiting; nobody made any effort to compensate us for the poor service. I understand that there are trolls out there who will write false negative reviews. Carole R and I are not those people. We had a truly bad experience and all we get is blamed by Lindsay F (owner). We did not tip the waitress because we had to ask multiple times for service and had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for our food. This was not a decision taken lightly. We were so upset that we could simply not reward poor service with a tip. Manager - before you reply, please consider how you would react if you went to a restaurant and this had happened to you. I wasn't going to say anything but after you essentially blamed us for your poor service in Carole R's review, I wanted to set the record straight. It's actually a cute place inside. However our experience was less than - way less than. We had a reservation and it took us a while to be seated because one person told us they were going to seat us at a booth and then we waited and another person came and asked if we were being helped and we said we were waiting for the booth and were promptly told no we weren't. Took us a while longer but we did get seated at the booth... We ordered right away - and proceeded to wait and wait and wait. We grabbed the waitress finally and asked her if our order was coming along and were told, exactly, "we're trying to figure something out". What does that even mean? The hostess came over and asked if we had been waiting for a while and she said she was going to let the owner and manager know. No one ever came over. Our food finally came and we figured out what they had to figure out ... how to make lasagna. Pretty sure something happened and they just slapped a lasagna together . It was literally a lasagna noodle on top, what appeared to be almost a hamburger patty in the middle and then a cluster of a few more lasagna noodles stuck together on the bottom. And then my fish - had no clue it had bones in it and spent almost five minutes trying to get a bone lodged in my front tooth out. It was horrible - didn't finish at all. Will we be back - we have to think about that. Like supporting local but when no one ever even came back and said sorry it took so long... not sure we really matter that much. We gathered last night at Oliverii North to celebrate my niece's engagement with her fiancé and his family and were treated like royalty! Our party was size able with 15 adults and two babies but our waitress, staff and owner kept up with all our dining needs and wants. We had appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert and all were delish! The cocktails were outstanding, especially the chocolate martinis! All staff were very personable and friendly. Will return again and be happy to recommend the restaurant. My family loves the food here. We have been ordering takeout all year due to Covid. We finally felt comfortable dining out and had an amazing experience at Oliverii North. The owner is always attentive, and made sure we had a great time. The wait staff were enthusiastic and accommodating. The food is delicious, authentic Italian! We were looking for a place for a nice lunch and chose Oliverii North a try since they were participating in Lake County Restaurant Week. Our visit far exceeded our expectations! Salvatore, the owner, took amazing care of us along with our wonderful waitress. All of the food was carefully and lovingly prepared, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! And we especially enjoyed trying a variety of fantastic wines from thier excellent selection along with Salvatore's expertise, hospitality and passion. We both loved our entrées, I had the Fettuccine Con Frutti Di Mari, WOW, and my friend really enjoyed her Pollo Picatta. We were also seved a beautiful salad, freshly baked bread, and a fantastic dessert with gelato, whipped cream, toasted almonds and Limoncello.... I'm sorry I don't know what it was called because it is not on the menu, possibly something else Salvatore just thought we would enjoy. Out celebrating a special night, waited a few minutes before we were seated., another fifteen minutes when the waitress took our order. I had chicken Vesuvius and boyfriend had shrimp scampi. My chicken was moist nothing to exciting I've had better, the shrimp scampi was suppose to be in a light sauce the shrimp tasted fishy, the sauce was red and the pasta was el Dante dante very chewy. You would have thought that even though we were the only customers in the restaurant, that maybe a little extra care would have been taken seemed like the scampi was rushed. Or maybe the flag would have been no customers? The restaurant was recommended and the reviews seemed promising. Yes we should have said something but it being a special night didn't want to make this an issue. And for us to spend around 50.00 and didn't even drink is A lot of money. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Owner greets you at the door and you feel like you have been invited into his home for dinner. Atmosphere is very warm and inviting and yOu feel like family. This used to be our favorite place pre Covid. Last time we had reservations, we had to leave without even being seated because they were an hour behind in seating. Tonight they seated us (the only plus of the evening). There was an anniversary party of over 25 people in the middle of the restaurant. The noise was relentless. You couldn't hear yourself talk. The servers were overwhelmed and constantly dodging the large party to serve food. The lasagna was disgusting. The worst I've ever had. Basically one noodle on top and one on the bottom and an inch of unflavored meat covered with 2 slices of mozzarella. My husband had the veal piccata and left hungry. Our server was so overwhelmed she forgot if she gave us our salads or not. No one came to our table to see how things were. There seemed to have been two owners. Both avoided us and went to other tables. Oliveri is now off our list of go to restaurants in town. read more

We first ordered takeout and thoroughly enjoyed the authentic, delicious Italian Cuisine. It was so good we ordered catering for a family event. The owner was very accommodating to our schedule and opened early to get our order ready on time. Our guests raved about the food. The chicken milanese was excellent along with the meatballs, Italian sausage and angel hair pasta. The antipasto included fresh Italian meats, cheeses, sun dried tomato and more. I took my family here on Christmas Eve. I made reservations for some what early I guess at 5 pm. To my shock it was pretty empty when we got there but figured well maybe that's a good thing and we would get faster Service. Oh how wrong I was. We first say there and the bus boy brought us some water and bread. (Mind you just bread no butter no olive oil) so we still just sat there. The hostess lady then asked if we wanted something to drink my son said a pop. Well instead he got ice with some pop. Took two sips gone. Good luck getting a refill. So after 10 mins finally our waitress came to ask if we were ready to order. A bit confused why every one else took "care" of us before this. I tried to shrug it off. However when a bigger part of 7 came in our waitress then forgot all about us and waited in them so fast. Got their water and drinks their bread (with butter and oil) asked if they wanted the wine sheet (I was never offered that) so after a little bit normal time wait our food came out. But again not by our waitress but others. The food did taste good. Portions big. Wish however they did have a kids menu because my son got a pizza that could of fed us all. I know it's not a kids restaurant but for times like these for Christmas Eve it would of been nice. As We ate it did start to get busier. There was one host there a guy who we all just though was off. He carried a knife on his belt made my daughter worries. While he sat down another large group that obvious he knew he took all their jackets (again that was offered to us) and Then while he took to get hung up he hit me over my head with all the jackets while I ate. I was like omg seriously I'm paying this much to be ignored by our waitress and hit by these coats from some weird guy. While we were done eating my son took his pizza to go because again it was so big. And then we waited and waited and waited while I asked the hostess if I could get my check. The hostess brought me the check. Everything was on there correctly even the ice cup with a little bit of pop. The hostess took the payment never did see the waitress again. Never was offered and dessert it was as if they say a single mother out with her kids and thought I wasn't worth their time to be treated with respect. Great restaurant to go to with your family, unless you're seated at the table closest to the bar! A party of 8 adults were waiting for a table while drinking right next to our table. There was a couple standing leaning up against our table with their backs toward us so there was a butt in our faces for most of our meal. As if having a butt six inches from your face while you eat isn't bad enough, the couple started to reach second base (groping each other's butts - I am dead serious) while still standing at our table. A few inches from my poor boyfriend's face. Just casually groping butts. I wasn't sure whether to laugh at the absurdity of the situation or be annoyed at these trashy people. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly, but having a literal butt in my face put a damper on the meal. I can't say enough about Sal, Nikki and Marley. I hosted a baby shower at the restaurant yesterday and they went well above and beyond to make sure the day was special! Allowed us to bring in the decoration boxes early, has the tables already set up for us when we arrived to decorate( huge time saver) , made the food to order! All fresh and delicious. They were all there for hours assisting the guests with every whim, all with a smile! I was absolutely thrilled with everything and will use them for all my events in the future! read more

Tuesday night dinner for 2, place had 5 tables seated with customers. We were seated with menus. Bus boy brought water. 20 minutes later we were still waiting for a waiter to stop to ask if we wanted a drink or appetizer/food. Once he did, we explained we were just about to get up and leave. He apologized for the waiter confusion and took our drink order and food order. Drinks took another 10 minutes to arrive. The drinks one glass of wine and a vodka lemonade. Trying to help out the local restaurants during this time of sharing and caring. Guess what ??? They claim that the prices on the website are outdated and are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive.
