This place is outstanding! The food is great and so are all the people who work there. I have been there when the service is a little slower but the atmosphere and the bartender make the difference. I have eaten there many times for lunch and dinner and it never disappoints, and they do a good takeout too. I regularly go there for lunch with my mom, she loves it! Bread was clearly put in the oven to toast. Came to the table burnt black. Ordered the Mussels, Chicken Piccata, Mozzarella and Prosciutto, and the Caprese . The mussels were clearly frozen mussels. Stringy, rubbery, over cooked. The White wine/ butter sauce was lackluster, and bland. Caprese was O.K. the most flavor on the plate was the dry Arugula. The Chicken Picata was bland, over cooked and dry, Considering the chicken is supposed to be packed in butter, white wine, and lemon. The Angel Hair pasta was over cooked, mushy, and had no sauce. The Mozz and Prosciutto.... Store bought dry prosciutto... Intensely salty. Drowning in olive oil on the plate. The mozz... Standard issue. Nothing special. Went here for the first time this weekend with my wife. We were both very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Service was professional and very friendly. The food was very good, we started with calamari as a starter, if you're a fan of calamari I would highly recommend it! Pasta entree was good but not excellent. For dessert we tried the tiramisu. Well, everyone been raving about Oliverii North so went there for our anniversary and it absolutely sucked! Note: last time we went it was pretty good! Anyway the grouper (if it was actually grouper) was awful. My husband ordered it and I ate the veggies off his plate and all I could taste was fish. Grouper shouldn't be that fishy unless it's not fresh. He didn't finish even 1/2 Of a small serving. I ordered the vodka ravioli and was served tortellini. I decided to put my big girl pants on and eat it cuz it would have thrown the whole dinner off to correct it. It sucked but my husband said it was better than his shitty grouper. The owner (?) walked around to every table except ours. The flies were not helping either. And why do they feel the need to have news on on the only TV in the place solidified our decision to never return. The beer and wine were good tho. read more
