Hinoki wood steamer with brisket - after cooking
    Lisa D.

Nice service, and it wasn't busy but they have a lot of seating for if it does and the option to make reservations as well We opted for street parking but the restaurant itself seems to be within a hotel so not sure if public parking is accessible so street parking might be the best option Our group of 4 just got the hinoki wood steamer with beef and veggies and each a bowl of rice which was just enough for us all to be full, but we were told it was a 2-person portion. I believe this is what they are known for and it was really good, they do have a lot of other authentic Korean food options as well. I was just a little disappointed we didn't get the full banchan spread experience that most people seem to get with these steamer boxes? Maybe they were running out for the day but we were only given 8 different banchans and they do inform you that there are no refills so I was hoping for the full 12-15 dishes. They were all still very good though, my favorites were the radish kimchi and muk

Oh man, where do I even start with Olle Korean Cuisine? This place is an absolute gem hidden in the heart of the city, and my recent visit left me speechless (and stuffed!). As a huge fan of Korean food, I went in with high expectations, and they were blown out of the water--especially with their spicy beef stew. The beef stew is hands-down one of the best things I've ever tasted. It's this hearty, flavorful explosion in every bite: tender chunks of beef that melt in your mouth ( a mix of meat not completely kalbi), paired with fresh, perfectly cooked whole squid that's not chewy at all. The broth is rich and spicy with just the right kick from gochujang and a medley of veggies like potatoes, carrots, and onions that soak up all that goodness. It's comforting yet adventurous, like a warm hug with a twist. Portions are generous too--I got it as a main and could barely finish, but I powered through because it was that good! It doesn't matter if I didn't finish because tomorrow I will have a great lunch. The service was top-notch; our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations without being pushy. The ambiance is cozy and modern, with K-pop playing softly in the background, making it perfect for a casual date night or catching up with friends. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and everything came out piping hot and fresh. If you're craving authentic Korean flavors, run--don't walk--to Olle. Five stars all the way; I'll be back soon for more of that stew! Highly recommend!

Food is great. We sat in the room, so if you have a bigger party this is is an ideal place. Service was pretty good too. Would come if you haven't had this type of food before.

Food - delicious!! Definitely recommend the smoked duck, which comes with onions and scallions underneath the duck, sticky rice, and corn on the cob. Black cod is also good if you want something more flavorful. Very saucy and comes with rice. They are whole pieces of fish with bones so if you don't like bone-in, I would not recommend. The dish comes with some pieces of rice cake and radish, and some other things like hot peppers. The banchan (side dishes) are great! A lot of variety and all tasty. Seafood pancake, also recommend especially if you like more seafood in the pancake. I can't remember what was in it that I was pleasantly surprised about, though I was just there a few days ago lol, but I remember saying "ooo this is good!" (yes, out loud haha.) Service - fantastic! They were kind and efficient with all our asks, and even offered another set of banchan at the start of the meal so we could have one at each of the table. Two sets ended up being the perfect amount for the 6 of us. We were there in the middle of the week and it wasn't busy. It was nice they seated us in a private room. Definitely more comfortable! I would definitely go back to get the duck again!

Amazing experience! We came here for a family dinner and got a private room for 6 adults and 1 baby. First off, lets start with the banchan spread. There was so much variety you could get full just with banchan and rice. We went all out and ordered a bunch of food and everything was delicious! * Soy marinated crab - super fresh, sweet and plump crab. Delicious. * Bulgogi - Really good flavors. Huge portion! * LA Kalbi - Very tasty * Hinoki beef box - great quality beef that tastes like your grandma's home cooked meal but with better ingredients. * Ginseng chicken - This was just okay. The chicken was too dry - I wish it was softer They didnt have the smoked duck available on that day which is a bummer. As an apology, they offered us spicy stir fried chicken feet which was surprisingly tasty (and spicy). Also really enjoyed the porridge that came at the end as part of the combo meal. We had lots of leftovers affter our meal, but left super happy. Service was excellent as the server was very attentive. Definitely returning again to try their smoked duck!

Updated review: we came to Olle Korean Cuisine for their lunch special and got the kimchi cold noodle and duck. It was so good and an awesome price point at around $32 for both! The duck came out on a hot plate that charred it a bit and it was so good with the duck fat a bit melted. I loved the kimchi cold noodles (made with white kimchi). The noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy and paired so well with the duck. They also have the best banchan. I particularly loved the bok choy one. Will definitely be back to have this combo again.

Their spicy galbijjim is superior. The quality of the meat is top notch. Beef and squid are both juicy and tender and well marinated. Adding cheese in top as a topping went perfectly well. It helped lessen the level of the spiciness. The servers were generous. The night I went to dine in there was a group of 15-20 people having their high school reunion so it was super loud. Other than that I would definitely come back. Free parking located underneath the hotel.

This place is a hidden gem! I don't hear people talk about Olle enough. I had seen some videos at this place and was curious about the duck they serve. Come to find out everything there was delicious and come with a generous amount of servings. I will say, the duck is delicious, but for me, the star was the banchan they served. There was a wide variety, all delicious, and refillable!!!! 5 stars, too, for having a parking garage to park in.

WOW. A hidden gem. Finally tried a restaurant I've had bookmarked forever and I'm lowkey mad that I didn't come sooner. The smoked duck was such a standout: super clean, no gaminess at all, and paired so well with the sticky rice. We went all in: soy sauce crab, spicy crab, steamed brisket, and galbijjim. The soy sauce crab was my #1 packed with roe and that sauce is SO good. Mixed with rice?? I could eat that every day. Truly a rice thief. Galbijjim was also a highlight. Super tender, flavorful, and you can tell they use quality meat. Oh we also got the dongchimi noodles and bibim noodles. I LOVED the dongchimi noodles. It was the perfect way to end the night. It was so refreshing and good palate cleanser. And can we talk about the banchan? 9 different sides and every single one was deeeelicious. This is one of those spots you bring people you love to. I can't wait to bring my in-laws and my friends. If you're looking for a new place to eat and try, this is it! Hyunee approved ( : P.S. most importantly! Parking is free underground. The best meal I've had in ktown and I eat in ktown all the time! You start with some pumpkin porridge. I love how they cook and present the duck. There are so many combinations you can make for your ssam (wrap) with all the banchan They accidentally overcooked our beef but we were so happy with the rest of the meal, it didn't really matter. At the end, there's some rice porridge they make too so make sure you leave room for that. Pro tip: don't order extra rice cause you get the rice porridge at the end Service was so quick and they were very accommodating to our needs. I love the free parking and how it's situated inside the cute hotel!

Our party of three came in on a weekday, so there was no wait and the service was immaculate. Some of the staff don't speak fluent English, but they genuinely try their best to communicate and explain each dish, which we really appreciated. We ordered the duck and beef combo, and both dishes completely exceeded expectations. The flavors were light yet rich, and everything tasted so fresh and wholesome. The assortment of banchan was top tier and paired beautifully with the mains. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and love. We were treated like royalty with the abundance of food and thoughtful service. The owner even came by to check on us and seemed worried that we had too many leftovers, but we assured him everything was delicious--we just needed to pack it to go because the portions are huge! Watching the food being cooked right in front of us in the wooden boxes made the whole experience even more special. Generous portions, amazing flavors, and heartfelt hospitality make this place absolutely worth it. We can't wait to come back.

Honestly, a million stars just for the free and safe parking in K-town! I love eating in the area, but parking is always a hassle. Olle is located inside the Oxford Hotel, and there's a small driveway that leads down to a parking area--super convenient. The owner was incredibly welcoming. He came over, introduced himself, and took the time to explain everything. The food was fantastic--healthier and made with high-quality ingredients. Even the army stew tasted lighter and cleaner because they used better cuts of meat. But the real standouts? The smoked duck and the abalone bibimbap. With freshly made banchan that rotates every two days, a signature smoked duck infused with Hinoki cypress, and a beautifully steamed beef brisket and veggie combo, Olle is a must-visit! Don't miss their grand opening special--smoked duck for just $125 until March! Let me know if you'd like any tweaks!

The steak frites was solid too, though the steak-to-fries ratio was off and the aioli came out a bit cold.
