First time trying out OMG Donuts. The young lady at the counter was nice and explained a few things for us regarding why the boxes on the menu were numbered. The shelves were well stocked for a Sunday afternoon so we were able to try out quite a few different flavors of donuts. We brought our box home and I tried part of the strawberry shortcake donut which was really good as well as a bite of the apple fritter, also yummy. I then went for a taste of the chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled, and well....she didn't fill it. It was just the donut NO FILLING. This should never happen at a donut shop. I mean, isn't that part of the process on a filled donut? While the donut itself was good I cannot comment on the filling. (And this kind is my favorite donut) We did get four of these in total so I hope the others are filled) The storefront is nice. It has a few tables inside to enjoy a donut and coffee if you'd like. It was clean and like I said we had plenty of donuts to choose from but I have heard they sell out from time to time.

Donuts were great! Light, airy and not overly sweet. Employees answered questions when asked and had an efficient method of keeping customer traffic flowing smoothly. I enjoyed all the donut flavors I tried but blueberry was a personal favorite. I also tried the apple fritter which was fried to perfection, however it was a little too sweet for me. I would definitely return.

Heading out of Charlotte and I was looking for a treat to take on the road. Super cute doughnut shop. I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Strawberry Shortcake filled with Vanilla Cream. Both were amazing but the Strawberry Shortcake tasted just like the ice cream from the ice cream truck. And the chai latte with oak milk was great as well! The ladies in there were friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend!

For some reason it has become a family tradition to find a good donuts shop whenever we are traveling. So I scouted this place out. We arrived at about 6:30 AM and we're greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Then there were the visual of these amazing donuts. We were a group of 5 so we decided on a dozen. Each person selected 2 of the ones that they wanted, then we selected as a group 2 more we could all taste. The donuts were fresh, flavorful and the combinations were great. They helped us start the hours long drive that we had ahead and it was great. I will say the prices were a bit astonishing. The menu has a breakdown that forces you to read. Because there are levels to an assortment based on the kinds of donuts you get. What makes it a bit unfair is once you select the combinations you are at the top tier price, so there is no adjustment made when you throw in plain or basic donuts with it. This dozen donuts was $30.00 which is a bit pricey. But single donuts were as high as $3.00. I will say the work they do to create such art is what you are paying for. So enjoy !

After visiting my cousin and before heading to the beach, we made a visit to this unique donut shop called OMG. It was a clean, colorful, cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. There were so many variety of donuts such as pineapple fritter, apple fritter, maple bacon, red velvet and MTO stuffed filling donuts in which you have 5 flavors to choose from. They have delicious lattes, beverages and surprisingly offer Vietnamese iced coffee too. We will definitely make another visit in the near future. What a great gem and a highlight of our trip.

This place is a hidden gem. Ironically it is hidden in a location that is easy to miss near Concord Mills. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable when I had questions. They have donut selections that are different from the average. You have to try the maple bacon. I didnt think I would like it, but it's now one of my favorites. The apple fritters are huge and a favorite as well. They open early am and close early. They sell out fast. I was informed that they bake fresh daily and once they sell out they don't make more for the day. Great selections and a must try!

Great donuts! I had the maple glazed donut. It was the last one in the case at the time I came around 10 am. I thought to myself this must be really good to be almost gone. It definitely was delicious. I love the look of the donut shop it's cutely decorated, spacious and clean. The lady who assisted me was friendly and the service was pretty fast.

My boyfriend and I visited OMG Donuts while in Charlotte for a wedding. We LOVED the variety and unique flavored donuts available and the staff was super friendly! We had such a hard time deciding on which donut to get. He opted for a custom filled one, you can choose from chocolate, cream, fruit etc for many different iced donuts. I couldn't resist the Resse's topped chocolate iced one. We loved the donuts, but after a wedding hangover wished they had better coffee. This place would get 10 billion stars if they served fresh local coffee, espresso and latte options. But regardless, we will be coming back for sweets, just with coffee already in hand! read more

OMG or should I say OH SWEET BABY JESUS these are some of the best donuts I have ever tasted. Pleasant staff, cozy store, and crowed full of people. We are traveling from Florida due to hurricane Irma and our hotel is located across the street, we had heard good things about this place. O. M. G. I think these are the best donuts I've ever had! They taste so homemade and fresh. My favorite is the long john with vanilla stuffing. Oh yeah, you get to choose your donuts AND choose the filling and watch them stuff them! It's a very cute, Instagram worthy, shop and they have specialty (OMG) donuts too like Reese's cup, coconut, strawberry shortcake, brownie, maple bacon etc. You have got to try these donuts! read more

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE DONUT PLACE in the world. I love OMG. Good prices , and great variety. Everyone loves when I bring OMG Donuts to work, to school for brunch or anytime. They stay fresh for two days as long as they are covered up. read more

This place is great. The ladies working were really nice and the donuts were really good. I love how they don't skimp on the filling in the donuts and danish. I do tend to prefer the traditional donuts like at Duck's and Downtown, but I like the spin they have here too. Definitely recommended. read more

If you want donuts that are your typical donut shop donuts, but way better....this is your spot. When I moved to Charlotte I remember being so confused when I couldn't find a regular donut shop with regular donuts. All they seemed to have everywhere were cake donuts or specialty donut shops. So when I came across this place I was thrilled. They're everything they claim to be and more. 10/10 would recommend!! read more

This was not one of my favorite donut spots by far. The donuts were very basic. They were not fresh..a lot of new donut places make your donuts hot and ready right in front of you so that can be hard to compete with. I will say the service was great and the donuts are large but they honestly looked and taste like something I would buy at the gas station. read more

My new favorite donuts in the area! The size of the donuts is great and the selection of flavors is almost overwhelming. My favorite part is the ability to pick your donut and filling to customize to your tastes. I love lemon filled and Boston Creme donuts and I am always able to make a good combination to fill my craving. My only complaint is I wish they were open longer hours. I love to have donuts for dessert so I have to make the effort to stop early on the weekends. read more

Ok, so...these are just about the best donuts I've ever eaten!! There are "fillable" donuts that can be filled on the spot! The maple-bacon is over the charts delicious! Then the Apple fritter is huge, delicious and it's a for sure purchase every time! The lemon fill is so tart and lucious! Bavarian cream is to die for!! Very reasonable pricing. Donuts are big, not scrimpy at all. read more

OMG Donuts is by far the BEST donut shop in the Charlotte/Concord area. The donuts are always hot, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. If you haven't tried the maple bacon donut yet, you're making the biggest mistake of your life. I went in last Saturday to pickup some donuts, and they were missing my favorite one. The lady offered to make me one fresh and she brought the donut out (steam rising) for me to enjoy. Talk about amazing customer service...Love this place! read more

Husband was told to go here by a work colleague, and as I, his loving wife, was still recovering from a potluck hangover with girlfriends from the night before, he decided donuts were an acceptable Sunday brunch. He brought home a mixed dozen, all of which were fresh, but my favorite was the strawberry filling. These are larger than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts, and they're soft and chewy with delightfully crispy edges. The donut itself is not overly sweet, but their glazes are more than enough to compensate. Very reminiscent of old fashioned yeast donut shops. Pretty sure you'd be the star of fellowship hour if you showed up with these. ( If that still goes on. I dunno if Jesus has banned gluten yet.) read more

I have been to Kristy Kreme (many times), I have been to Duck Donuts (good, but can be greasy), and I have even been to Voodoo Donuts in Portland,OR. None of them compare with OMG Donuts! The donuts are extremely fresh and fluffy, a great selection of creatively topped ones, and the option to custom fill donuts, including Long Johns! The glazed beat Krispy Kreme hands down--bigger, just as fresh, and less money! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. On top of all that, the coffee is excellent as well! There is even a kids corner where young kids can play while parents order breakfast! We will DEFINITELY be back! read more

OMG!!! What an awesome place. I got a plain doughnut and it was so good. I felt like the doughnut had just been made. This place is amazing!! The donuts are thick and super soft. They bake them throughout the day, so they are served super fresh. They have donuts that you can have filled with a filling of your choice. They also have other pastries like apple fritters (the best I've ever had) and brownies. This place has apparently only been around for ~8 months or so, but their donuts are incredible! They're right next to the shopping area with Harley Davidson and BJs Wholesale Club, and a bit hidden away if you don't know where to look. Staff are very friendly, and I compare them to the likes of OBX's Duck Donuts...except this place is better because they're yeast donuts! Definitely will visit again and recommend to friends and family! read more

I travel all over North Carolina for my job. My co-worker and I try to find the best bakeries in NC. Cute shop, very nice and clean. I got a pumpkin fritter and an iced cinnamon roll. So far I've only eaten the fritter, ...and omg!! It is literally melt and your mouth!!! Perfect. Best fritter in NC!! You have to give it a try. Definitely worth it. Will be back next time I'm in the area. read more

I love this place!! The donuts are fresh, and the selection is vast, and the prices are VERY reasonable. The only downfall is that they have been running out of donuts, but I know that it is because more people are finding out about this gem. Keep up the good work! read more

The donuts here at the best I have ever had. Fillings are added to the filled donuts when you order so you can customize your donuts. I had them for the first time today and am still in awe at how great they were. My only criticism has nothing to do with the bakery but beware parking is limited but worth waiting in the parking lot to get a spot. read more

Apparently, they often sell out and close early. So I was thrilled to finally get my hands on them today after so much anticipation. The donuts themselves are fantastic: huge, fresh, and incredibly fluffy with a perfect, not-too-sweet texture. However the fillings didn't quite hit the mark for me. They all were too tangy and heavy. The chocolate cream filling was sour, and the raspberry tasted rather stodgy, nothing like the light, sweet jelly from Krispy Kreme. At $14.99 for a half-dozen, there are fillings galore to choose from, which is great, but it might take some experimenting to find the right one for me. They also offer coffee, bubble teas, and a "wall of goodies" that looks intriguing On the bright side, the service was terrific! The young lady behind the counter made sure my sister and I had a very positive experience, and the place was spotlessly clean. Even though they were getting ready to close, we never felt rushed.. Despite the filling disappointments, I'd definitely go back to try some different options - I'd love to find my perfect custom donut, and how lucky I am to have found a place that may facilitate that, right here in Kannapolis.

I'm writing this review because we recently learned that a gift certificate we gifted as a holiday present expired. I wasn't aware it had a time limit, if I had know I would've thought twice about gifting from this establishment. It's embarrassing for us to give a gift that was ultimately unusable. I understand running a small business is challenging, but I wish I would've at least been made aware of their gift card policy in advance.

Follow them on Instagram where they post what is on the menu for each day. They have a pastry/baked goods counter where they have cinnamon roll cheesecake, strawberry tres leches, as well as classics like tiramisu and cannolis, and an array of fresh baked breads. On the opposite wall of the counter, they have freezers with take-and-bake dinners in oven-safe containers. I think I even saw containers of clam sauce that you can add to your pasta dishes. There was a lot in there, and I wish I had spent more time looking through it, but I didn't want to keep the freezers open for too long. It would probably help to have them listed somewhere where we could read through it. I'm glad I found Leo's. Those cheese steak eggrolls were AMAZING!

Even with the regular version, my shake was really good--super thick, rich, and a lot to get through. I made it a little over halfway before I was done. My niece had the cookie crumble, her friend got the banana pudding, and my sister had butter pecan in a waffle cone. Everyone enjoyed theirs--no complaints at all. The space itself is really cute. It's very kid-friendly and family-friendly, but honestly, it would make a fun little date night stop too. Just know going in--you can definitely share because the portions are heavy. That be the only thing I wouldn't order again.
