Thai Tea Slushy with Ice Cream & Taro Slushy with Ice Cream
    Amy C.

I was craving Boba so I found this spot nearby where my boyfriend and I were hanging out at the Celebrate Santa Clara Night Market. The directions took me to the back entrance of the place, but I can see that they have a decent sized parking lot that is shared amongst the other stores there. The place looked nice and clean from what I remembered. We ordered on the kiosk, which was easy. I was thrilled to see that they have the Thai Tea in slushy form because not alot of places do that. So I got that with mini bobas while my boyfriend got the Taro Slushy. We waited for probably about 7 minutes til our drinks were ready. The employee seemed nice. We tried our drinks, and we loved them! :) We would definitely come back here again for the next time I'm craving boba! :)

Open until 10:30-11 PM-ish which is decently late for the Bay Area where I'm used to everything closing at like 8 PM. So this was the perfect pick me up right after flying in from SoCal later at night. It's a simple, family owned boba place. No wild concoctions, just the classics. You can also order online for pick up which is nice. I got their Okinawa Milk tea with less ice and the lowest sweetness level is 50%, so keep this in mind if you are not one for sweet drinks! Even at this level, it's still quite sweet, so I can't imagine someone ordering 120% sweet. Not a lot of places have Okinawa Milk Tea (I only know of Ding Tea from the top of my head), but this was a decent slightly roasted tasting caramel milk tea. Cute bear logo. I'd scale this around Ding Tea level if there was a super ranking chart. Not bad.

    Assam Black Milk Tea

I like coming here after work bc theyre still open! I got the assam black milk tea and it was delicious and not too sweet. The service is quick and theyre super nice

There is some parking in the front but a lot more in the back. The service was okay and the workers can be friendlier. It would be nice if they spoke louder when announcing when the drinks are finished. I had to check it myself at the counter because I didn't hear them announce it. The interior is bright and there are some tables inside. The boba was decent. I enjoyed the fruit teas here because you can taste the tea compared to other spots where it can just taste like artificial fruit syrups. You can also customize your own fruit tea (max 2 flavors) which I thought was cool.

Came here as a quick stop but was surprised by the quality. Shop is well kept and the drinks were above average. I really loved the assam black tea with lychee jelly and the barista's attitude. Thank you to Ryan and his amazing service

Strawberry Green Milk Tea w/ Boba

My coworkers and I have come here a few times. I typically order a black milk tea with less sugar with boba. The boba normally makes up for the sweetness. Service is always pretty fast around lunch time when we go. The workers are always friendly. Will definitely be back!

It's me and my friends first time here and we enter through the back door since the map let us to the back parking lot. As we walk in, we were greeted by the employees and I have a good small talk with one of the employee about the store. I noticed the place look cozy and a good spot for studying. The drinks did took awhile despite its not being busy, but I'm sure it was just a one off. Drinks: Strawberry green milk tea (3.8/5): This was a nice light milk tea. If you're familiar with the Nesquik Strawberry powder, you will enjoy this drink! Comparing this drink and the powder, the Strawberry Green Milk Tea is ever so slightly more sour. Taro milk tea (4.5/5): This is a SOLID taro milk tea drink. I've had many taro milk teas and this one is nice, light and on the nuttier side. Matcha milk tea (4/5): If you appreciate the quality of matcha and the matcha flavor, I highly recommend this drink. The milk flavor is nice but not overwhelming as many boba spots. This drink bridges the complexity of matcha and the classic taste of milk tea perfectly.

    Coffee Slushy with Ice Cream
    Chandrika B.

Loved the variety it offers and how it has options for boba tea, coffee, hot chocolate or decaf options. Tons of add on options is an added plus too. In $7 plus tax i got: - coffee ice cream slushy 5/5 with 50% sweetness, coffee jelly and brown sugar boba. Next time i want to try mango matcha with mango pop boba. Cant wait!!

Early Grey with brown sugar boba

Do not order earl grey tea from here. I failed to read the reviews before ordering via DoorDash. The taste was awful like a mixture of hand soap, potpourri, and chemicals. I would usually try to finish something even if I don't like it, but I cannot with this tea.

I feel like I have enjoyed OMG Tea before, but their matcha is noticeably grainy. Would not order matcha here again. Their cup quality is nice; it reminds me of when I first held a Thirst Tea cup.

Kiwi Citrus Fruit Tea - fresh!
    Nina Z.

Pretty good! We were in search of a late night boba spot, and this place is open until 11 PM. Seating inside, cute interior, and open late. Check, check, check! I was very impressed by the kiwi citrus tea. Very fresh and less sweet and less ice was perfect! The drink actually had pieces of kiwi in it! I'm excited to come back and try their other drinks. In addition to their fresh fruit teas, they also have milk teas, yakult drinks, and blended milk and fruit slushies. It seems like there's something for everyone and they are family-owned! I got my eye on their wintermelon lemonade for next time.

Though ok in taste, it was very caffeinated.
    Mimi L.

OMG! Beware if your body can't handle high level of caffeine in their drinks. You won't enjoy it when you can't sleep later, so tread with caution. Their assam black tea was unbelievably strong with caffeine overkill that induced a sleepless night! Same effect of matcha milk tea on my son.  The stone faced female staff told me explicitly that they don't sell any decaffeinated drinks at all when I inquired. Interaction with her was distasteful, she was indifferent and not eager to help with decaf. recommendation. The other staff was friendlier. She had a cheerful energy exuding on her smiling face.  Restroom was gross and untidy. The ring of thick mildew around faucet indicated sink hasn't been cleaned since last lunar new year. They weren't busy on the festival day. At the counter, they told me they can't print my receipt because machine didn't work and it ran out of paper. It's a tiny tea shop overlorded with caffeine, staff with attitude and unclean bathroom. Lame excuses from manager, bet not much to be done to improve, the attitude starts from top. Definitely my first and last visit.

Quality is OK. But they are the only boba shop that does not offer boba on the side. Parking is difficult.

Fun place to try but I am not sure if I would necessarily seek it out. I enjoy their gluten-free pistachio cake, but buy chocolate cookie looked enticing. Dubai chocolates are really saturating the market these days and if I'm being honest, some of the versions just aren't any good. However, knowing that the baked goods here are a great quality and based upon the look of itself I decided to give it a try. Wow! This was a perfect balance of chocolate and pistachio, made with real ingredients. The cookie had both taste a slight crunch and a moistness in the interior. For those who like to dip their cookies, dipping this into the Ube latte was definitely next level.

The space itself is pretty large, with a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside. There's also a decent amount of parking, and it's in a shared building with a brewery and other businesses. It has a bit of an unfinished warehouse vibe, which honestly makes sense for a coffee roaster. Only real inconvenience was that the restroom is locked, which feels a little odd for such a large coffee shop. Overall I'd still come back, but next time I'll definitely try an espresso based drink instead.

I've recommended this place to so many people, so it's a shame that I'm always disappointed with my orders now. And it also looks poorly on me when the same issues happen to people I've recommended this place to. I always order extra bacon (as did my friend twice now because she gave them a second try based on my (former) love for the place and their sandy's) and whoever makes the sandwiches now (gosh I miss Andrew) either doesn't add the extra bacon, or slathers it in mayo). See images of how they used to look vs how they look now. I've had to send my husband back for extra bacon on more than one occasion and today it's DRIPPING in mayo when I didn't ask for extra mayo. Amazed that this is the new baseline for mayo. They also didn't give us a straw and we are on the go today (seen of image in car), so now I can't drink my drink. Please make your sandwiches good again; I would love to keep being a regular, or even a customer of yours at all still.

It wasn't crazy busy so it was easy to order through one of their two tablets and find a spot to sit. It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.
