I loved my recent experience working with Baron at OMG Tea on a catering order for an event that I was hosting. I was ordering a large amount of milk and fruit tea drinks and reached out to the team via phone for my initial inquiry. I was connected with Baron, who was able to answer all my questions in a timely manner via email before I proceeded to place my large order on their website. Ordering was seamless. You can make an advanced order up to two days in advance. The beauty is that you can customize each and every drink you purchase, and Baron was able to make recommendations from how much ice to include. They were even able to accommodate my earlier 11:15 pickup order even though the earliest on the website is 11:30. Payment was easily handled online and you immediately receive an itemized receipt sent to your email. A simple need as obtaining a receipt can sometimes be challenging for catering orders, but not OMG Tea. It was easy and efficient. Their milk teas are dairy and lactose-free which is fantastic to reach a wider audience with their drinks. The classic milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice was a big hit with our guests. I'm impressed when I find an alternative drink that satisfies my boba cravings. The server at OMG Tea was gracious and helpful. Their boba is really good, not too sweet and chewy! Which is my favorite! I always usually get grass jelly but I will always order boba from here now. I also usually don't order taro milk tea at boba spots because they all have that distinct fake taro flavor but for some reason it actually tastes good here! I got 80% sweetness and it literally is the perfect amount. I normally get 50% but I knew I wasn't going to finish my drink. I ordered a Wintermelon Milk Tea, but it didn't taste like wintermelon at all! The drink tasted like a black milk tea instead. Granted, it tasted like pretty good black milk tea... We really wanted to be able to give a glowing review as the other four-star reviewers lured us here on a weekend stop we made in the South Bay. Omgt is located in a mostly vacated mixed retail and office complex. Parking is located in the back, and you are required to walk around the building to enter from the streetside. The menu is quite enticing with the number of various options including your typical brewed teas and milk teas. They have slushies and offer ice cream toppings which is not a common thing at boba places. The service was very friendly and welcoming... Again something that isn't always common in boba places. However, our drinks that we ordered, which aren't unusual, were subpar. The oolong crema lacked any and all tea flavor as it was masked by the strong crema flavor. Or maybe the tea just didn't have flavor to begin with. I will give them credit for their boba which was perfectly cooked - not too chewy and not too soft. The second drink we ordered, strawberry slushie with ice cream topping and added strawberry heart jellies, was more icy than preferred and should have been blended into a smoother ice slushy texture. The flavor was okay, but having strawberry bits blended with the drink would have given it some bonus points. At 25% sweetness, the drink was still a bit tart for anyone's reference. At a price point of $5 per drink plus topping cost, I probably won't be coming back and would venture to try out another boba place the next time I come back to the area. read more

After coming from the Santa Clara Courthouse to pay off my ticket, I stumbled upon OMG tea! This is a local mom and pop owned boba shop with several street parking outside. I saw this on my friend's instagram story so I had to try it out. I ordered the oreo milk tea and it's one of the store's most popular drinks and it exactly tasted like the milk you drink after dipping your oreos in it. According to my sister and other reviews this used to be the location of a Sharetea and they rebranded but kept the same name. There is street parking along the street in front as well as residential parking in the area. When you check in on Yelp you get a free topping of big or small tapioca so take advantage of that! It is a quieter area - there is parking out front on the street or you can park in the lot in the back. It is a bit scary parking in the back, but they have a back and front entrance here, so it was more convenient. I tried their green milk tea and pineapple slushy. The milk tea was a bit on the creamier side with not much of a tea taste to it - it did had this weird sugary aftertaste though. Really disappointing experience :( Came in last night to order my go-to with my fiancé. While the staff is usually different every time we come, last night a staff member we didn't recognize repeatedly messed up our order. With a distasteful attitude, he aggressively remade our drink with low-effort, scrutinized us under the claim that we had ordered it wrong (he was wearing a black AirPod while taking our order), then tossed it back to us on the counter with a side-eye glare. As regulars, we were not intending to be picky but simply expecting what we always get from our favorite drink. I was once a college barista and I understand the hassle of having to remake a drink, but it is no excuse to disrespect a costumer like this. I'm always in a boba mission when I am out of town. We parked in the parking lot out back, where there was plenty of parking during COVID. It's a cute little area with shops. You have to walk to the front to order. It's a very small shop, so one customer/group at a time. There was no one there when we got there, so we got to take some time for ordering. I ordered the coconut milk tea, my son and husband the pineapple and strawberry slushys with ice cream and all with boba. I like it when you can adjust the sweetness level and ice so I got 50 percent sweetness and 30 percent ice. Since it was a big drink, I should've gotten 50 percent ice because my drink wasn't cold enough. All in all, great and fast service and delicious drinks. I pulled out my trusty app (Yelp, of course) and stumbled upon this place mainly because of its high ratings. I decided to order a house milk tea, and I have to say, it was pretty good. I could taste the subtle tea flavors with a smooth milk overtone. The place is quite clean, and they have an automated ordering system, so you don't necessarily need to interact with the cashier if you prefer not to. The person in front of us had an extremely large order and undoubtedly took quite some time, so we opted to go through the cashier, which turned out to be a pleasant experience. Surprisingly, our drinks were prepared quickly, despite the large order in front of us. Overall, my experience here was positive, and if I ever find myself in the area again, I would definitely revisit this place. As for their pricing scheme, it's in line with what you'd typically find at other tea houses. Don't expect rock-bottom prices, but you won't feel like you're being overcharged either.
