I can see why this place has amazing ratings. Worth checking out at least once. The service is amazing. The cooks super friendly and look like they are enjoying their job. Professional setting with their uniform--and our food was delicious!! I don't give a 5 only because I feel like our dishes could have had more of a flavor-hit but we for sure will be going back!

Love the concept and their menu. Years ago when they first opened I was here and ordered their congee. It had good flavors but I remembered it was so salty I didn't want to come back again, until today - 10 years later. People love this place and they get rave reviews. Customer service was great and the restaurant clean. Very small cozy space and the seating is first come first serve. You grab the tables as they become available. Our group ordered the orange cream soda, the matcha lavender latte, oat latte for our beverages. Matcha latte with lavender syrup was very sweet, the oat latte creamy, and the orange cream soda was a first for us w fresh OJ. We also ordered the Chinese sausage fried rice, the roasted duck noodle, the duck fried rice and the breakfast burrito w green chili. Except for the Chinese sausage fried rice, everything else was so salty that it was almost intolerable. The Chinese sausage fried rice was good, but super oily. Interesting that the duck noodle was a shredded duck meat... probably easier to use for their fried rice and noodles... and wondering if their clienteles are more from non-Asian backgrounds so it's boneless. Our entire party was sleepy right after, so I'm curious if it's not just salt but msg as well. No knock on msg as I love it, I just think that it takes away the flavor when the food is super over seasoned. Hey, at least Onefold is consistent in their heavy salting 10 years later... glad the water is self-serve.

The food was so good! The duck fried rice was amazing and delicious. Service was easy since you order at the menu and they bring you your food based on your table number. The ambiance was pleasant for a Sunday afternoon brunch. I can't wait to come back!

Have wanted to come here for a while and finally made it! As you may have read, the space is cute but Tight! You order at the register and we found a couple of counter seats- now onto the important stuff, the food! I got the. Breakfast tacos and I must say, I've never had this version before- and I LOVE THAT! I don't go out to have something I could make at home- these had crispy string potatoes, fluffy eggs, and griddled mozzarella on top- delish and such great texture! Came with 2 salsas that were mild and spicier. Kiddo got breakfast burrito and it was huge, tasty and satisfying! This place did not disappoint!

Very casual, efficient dining concept - order at the counter, sit wherever you like, and the food is brought out to you. - Breakfast quesadillas: Satisfying and well-portioned, an easy comfort-forward choice. - Cobb salad: Fresh and balanced, but actually filling - Bacon fried rice: Flavorful and hearty, with enough substance to stand on its own

Onefold is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. All locations are delicious, adorable, and have amazing staff. This location is petite and quaint, which I love. Highly recommend the bacon fried rice.

Crepe and berries. The crepe is nice and malty, I think?

Chinese sausage and fried rice. Truly different and unique, the sausage is almost earthy and crispy. The sunny side up eggs were perfect and the chili oil was subtle and not too spicy. The space is tiny, but part of the charm.

Second time here. Really great again. I tried a new food adventure and ordered enchiladas de Mole. A mix of flavors that I really liked. Lil spicy at the end. Nice place. Full house but I didn't feel crowded. Cool biz

After a long night partying - you need a good breakfast spot to bring you back into good humours. Being from OC we are very familiar with Asian fusion, but I have never experienced such a well developed menu with Asian dishes for a breakfast/brunch spot. What I thought was the star of the experience was their bone broth which is essentially on tap - I wish all breakfast spots had this - it was warm, soupy and gave you all the nutrients back from a long night out. We had the breakfast tacos, congee and Chinese sausage fried rice. Tacos had a lovely layer of grilled cheese on top, giving that gooey goodness while also traditional Mexican taco flavors came out to wake ya up. The Congee they give us filled with traditional herbs and spices, alongside a great amount of pork inside. The bowl itself is large, and can certainly stuff one person. The Chinese sausage fried rice was good, but I felt like the protein to rice ratio was a bit off - but delish nonetheless ! Highly recommend for breakfast Also we got there around 9am - and by 10-10:30 there was a big line of people inside looking to order - so if you don't wanna wait, come early!

    Seasonal Cobb salad
    Sammy T.

Tried the breakfast quesadilla, seasonal Cobb salad, and bacon fried rice. All were really good--my favorite was definitely the quesadilla, super crispy and cheesy, especially with the green sauce!! The Cobb salad was refreshing, chicken was tasty, and the fruit added a nice touch. The bacon fried rice had great flavor but was too salty for me. Cute spot, nice for a casual date. You order first at the counter and then grab a seat anywhere! Also, street parking was a bit tough, we went on Sunday at noon and had to drive around the block a few times before finding a parking spot. I'd definitely come back!!! Especially for that quesadillas

Whenever I'm in town I'm stopping here. There's no need for a long review. Just trust me and run here immediately.

Businessmen getting breakfast before a meeting, young couples, and friend groups would all feel comfortable dining here. Breakfast was delicious and came out quickly. Hostess was attentive and friendly. Steak was tender but lacked seasoning, not a big deal. Loaded tots are to die for, you need to get these with your meal, you won't regret it. Would recommend if in the area, but nothing to go out of your way for. 8.5 out of 10 would recommend.

Upon doing so, you notice they've added two unusual changes -- a 2% "restaurant impact fee" and a 1% "kitchen staffing fee." We were told that the fee helps pay the kitchen staff because the wait staff doesn't share tips with them. We asked to have it removed and were told it cannot be removed. This is a problem based on principle and nothing else. There are costs associated with running a business. Pay your employees properly so that these fees don't need to be added. Be honest about it -- increase the cost of menu items if necessary -- but don't add HIDDEN fees! It makes you look slimy and dishonest. At the very least, remove the fees when your customers don't want to pay them. This really pales our opinion of this place. It's irritating and embarrassing for everyone, including the wait staff who have to explain the fees to the patrons, and in this case, receive a smaller tip.

Location (4 stars) This restaurant is downtown near the convention center. parking is pricy if you valet park at the hotel. Last year it was around $40. Parking in the lot across the street for $25 dollars Easter Sunday. If you use a walker, I would not recommend the parking lot across the street. Food (3 Stars) The Thanksgiving buffet is the best one. I would rate that buffet a (4). The Christmas and Easter buffet are pretty low key. There is a carving station (ham and prime rib). There is an omelet station. Dessert bar is decorative. Cheesecake was delicious. The warming station with potatoes, sausage etc. leaves much to be desired. The charcuterie station is sparse. They offer unlimited mimosas for an additional $25. Service (5 stars) Staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness (2 stars) My only complaint, I saw a tabletop being cleaned off with a rag used to clean the chairs and then under the table on the floor and on to the next tabletop. I'm just a little picky about that. Especially since folks these days go commando and wear short attire, and you know their parts are on the chair and now spread to tabletops. Wiping up the crumbs off the floor with same rag simply through me over the edge. Atmosphere (4 stars) Spacious uncrowded environment. Nice decor. Bright with large windows.

I saw Former Saint on CBS News, and the menu and food looked incredible. In particular, that white chocolate blueberry cheesecake was something I know my hubby would look forward to all week! I loved the idea of local food and fresh homemade dishes. Sounds healthy, after a week of potential over-indulgence at other restaurant week venues. An additional bonus was that it is located right near the Denver Convention Center and the Performing Arts Center. This has become a dry spot for fine dining, with even the choices on Larimer Square growing more thin, giving rise to the inability to get reservations at favorites like Tamayo and Rioja prior to a show. I go to performances frequently with friends, and despite my rule to avoid hotel restaurants (Former Saint is in the Hyatt Regency), I thought I'd scope out Former Saint as a place to take my friends before the next symphony or Children's Chorale or ballet or broadway performance. I must say, the jury is still out. Former Saint was a Jekyll and Hyde of courses. Parking was not difficult (Yay, maybe I can park here prior to my shows, if I grab a bite first). There is a large garage, and the promise of validation from the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is typical hotel restaurant. Booths, tables, old and a bit drab. Except for the bar. Oh, my! The bar has this BEAUTIFUL copper creation above it, adding so much industrial character to the space! I was in awe looking at it, as it appeared to bring craft suds to the bartender's taps. I didn't ask how it worked, as it wasn't clear how the beer separation and dispensing worked, but it was a great centerpiece and spectacle for the place. I do wish I had investigated more about this architectural marvel, and will do so if I return. For restaurant week, my husband chose the Lobster Ravioli, Ribeye, and blueberry cheesecake (as predicted). I chose the Gotham salad, roasted chicken, and key lime tart. The lobster ravioli was nice; my husband was surprised that it was a toasted ravioli, but enjoyed it. My salad was full of beautiful greens, pears, walnuts, and feta. No scrimping here! The dressing was light and sweet/sour. The pears were a bit unripe and crisp, to the point that I was having trouble identifying exactly what fruit I was eating, but other than that, the salad was beautiful, healthy, and ample. My husband's ribeye steak was a nice cut, done to his liking. Slivered hash browns were underneath with a nice green chimichurri on top and some sliced Fresnos adding a welcome kick to the dish. My chicken was delightful. 1/2 chicken on the bone, seasoned nicely, and with a pan sauce. The breast was super-tender and delicious. It came atop cheesy grits, which was a yummy substitute for a mashed potato. I also was served side salad of curly lettuce and fennel. I probably didn't need more salad, but I was glad to have the healthy side on my plate. I will say that this salad was over-seasoned. The chicken and grits were great, but the salad too salty. My husband ordered a glass of J. Lohr Cabernet, which was a very nice find on the wine list, as far as a pairing for his ribeye. That said, the glass cost $30! A bit much, I might say. The real detractor, unfortunately, was dessert. The blueberry cheesecake looked nothing like the beautiful creamy white cheesecake accented throughout by purple blueberries, which I saw on the CBS News clip. My husband was served a very small solid purple slice, overcome with whipped cream dollops. This cheesecake had been uncovered in the fridge too long, with sort of a skin on it. My husband ate almost none of it. My key lime tart was similarly over-adorned with whipped cream, although I had some nice raspberries on top. The tart also seemed overexposed to the cool air, with the thickening of a skin on top. It was a very disappointing way to end a nice meal, and belied the healthy, homemade, craft theme. High points of this experience include the well-crafted and healthy entrees, the fact that we could see the convention center right outside our window (i.e., the location is perfect for pre-event or -theater), the $3.00 validated parking fee, and that beautiful copper tap system. Will the pros outweigh the cons? Will we be back with friends? Time will tell.
