Love their chicken and beef......plus macaroni is great.... I been to Hawaii many times and Hawaiian food actually sucks compared to here.

Went last weekend with my husband, wasn't my food of choice. Its okay if you want Hawaiian BBQ. To much rice is served and they say they offer vegetables with the meal which is only cabbage. What I had I can cook it at home myself for the price we paid read more

Tried this place, it's nothing special. The best thing they have is their macaroni and they give you a tiny ice cream sized scoop of it. If you buy a separate order, they are stingy with it as well. But the food here can be found at any Japanese restaurant. The staff was incredible though, great customer service. read more

This place is terrible. I love the Ono Hawaiian food chain, but this one just rubbed me the wrong way. After an hour of waiting, the cashier had the audacity to give me the wrong order. They sheepishly apologized like they were on drugs or something, so I ended up getting a refund. WORST experience ever. Don't come here, yelp for another establishment. I would not recommend this location. Horrible customer service. Owner /manager more concerned about making profits and not refunding customers money to make them happy . Quality of food tastes chewy and for an overpriced BBQ plate there is hardly meat in the plate. I placed an order over the phone for pick up . To my surprise I had been charged for "extra" things which I was not informed were going to be an extra charge. Being charged twice for a side salad ? Cmon on now. Poor service. If I could give a "zero" star rating, I would. My friends and I were craving some Hawaiian BBQ and this place was the closest, so we decided to give it a try, worse decision, ever. First of all, the employees here are really rude. No, Hello, just what's your order, for here or To-go, and that's it. My friend ordered a number 3, and they gave her a completely different order. When we went to let them know, the lady didn't offer no type of apology, and tried to treat it as if we were stupid, saying we ordered the number two, when in fact no, we ordered the number 3. Then slumped over and finally got us the right order. Then finally comes the worse part of the experience, we were sitting right in front of the kitchen, so we could see the cooks doing their thing; then, all of a sudden we see the cook run his fingers through his hair and beard, and continue to cook the food. He did it multiple times, and had no consideration for food health safety codes whatsoever. Will never be going to this establishment again, if you want some good Hawaiian food, go to "Kings Hawaiian" over in Torrance. Amazing food there. read more

I've never eaten here, and most likely never will. I wasn't too excited about the combo plates they have assembled, but the food does look good. All I wanted was Mac salad, and 2 different meats, which apparently U can't do here. U have to order the combo plates as they come and cannot make any substitutions. Ordered the mix chicken plate, the Bbq was ok but the Katsu was just bad u can tell on the first bite that they use old oil.

Good and fast. I looking for some good teriyaki chicken and this was a great place to get it.

The customer service here is terrible, my son needed to use the restroom and I asked the cashier Emily Marie if we could use it and she stated it was closed and rolled her eyes. First time coming to this place &I also my last one . As I walked in girl standing on the register by the way her name is Juliet. Looked like she did not appreciate our service . As I was ordering I order a drink along with my food and she said " oh you can get the cup " like really? When do you go to a restaurant and they tell you to grab your own cup. But besides that she look so miserable, I did not feel welcome && to top it off her boss was also there && she did not care. Worst service ever!!! Me and my husband love this place. Who doesnt love healthy food and a good atmosphere. The staff are always nice and the service is fairly quick considering they are always busy. The prices are a bit exspensive but i always bring in my bogo free coupon and they honor it with a smile everytime. Love this place and i will be back soon. read more

Had a few good meals here until about a month ago. Cashier couldn't find what I wanted to order off the board on the cash register so she found something similar and I ordered that 3 combo meal to go with my families order. When I got home my 3 combo meal was missing an item and the beef teriyaki had too much fat, didn't want to drive back. Filled out their online thing and never heard back or received any kind of coupon for the missing item. working in downey/bellflower today and swung by for a quick lunch. had the seafood combo and a large drink. place was packed and i was lucky to find a seat. order took a little long but im guessing it was cause they had to deep fry my fish and shrimp. had them sub out my rice and mac salad for additional steamed veggies - yum. 4 stars read more

So I asked if they could substitute Katsu chicken instead of BBQ chicken in my Hawaiian BBQ mix (most expensive combo on their menu). Since I work close by, this place is good and convenient. Love their spam musubi, one of their draw backs is that, food can take a while to prepare during rush hour. I recommend calling head of time during those hours. read more

Last night I came in around 8:50 and the cashier Laiza who took my order needs improvement with her customer service I've came here many times and never had a problem but last night was unacceptable. Her behavior has caused me to never want to return to this store . I walk in and there's nobody in the front to take orders she's in the back laughing with her other friend behind the black boxes giggling and laughing I believe he was a cook because he had an apron on. when she seen me in the line she then rolled her eyes because she had to come take my order . I think that's very disrespectful if she doesn't want to work then she should stay home . I felt so unwanted and that's never happened before with this store . When she came to take my order she didn't answer any of my questions I had she pretty much made me read and understand the menu by my self maybe she just wanted to get out of work . I honestly feel like she shouldn't be working in this field of work she's not fit for this type of job. Whoever hired her really should reconsider. Came here yesterday, and I was well greeted by an employee named Emily it was my first time here so I wasn't quite sure what to order, I informed her I've never been here so she was kind enough to suggest me some of the popular plates they have, so I went ahead and ended up getting #44, as I got my plate I noticed she was doing all the work taking orders and there was another employee with blonde hair standing of to the side "wiping trays" walking back and forth when she could've helped take some orders when there was a long line of people and she did not help her , other than that the food was amazing I will definitely be back! read more
