The food is brought to your table. What we ordered: Teriyaki chicken plate lunch Teriyaki beef plate lunch Katsu chicken plate lunch Spam musubi Mac nut pancakes We used our SGV passports to redeem 2 spam musubis and 2 mac nut pancakes. The plate lunches were served with a generous portion of rice, steamed mixed vegetables, and a scoop of mac salad. The katsu was perfectly breaded and fried, while the chicken was tender and moist. The chicken teriyaki was tender and juicy, with a flavorful sweet-and-savory sauce that complemented the chicken nicely. The beef teriyaki was flavorful. The 2 spam musubis were loosely wrapped and came apart easily. The 2 mac nut pancakes were a large portion size. It was topped with a cream sauce that was not too sweet. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the staff remained friendly and hospitable. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable brunch.

The shrimp was really tough to eat being so salty. All in all I'm glad I tried it. It's super heavy food though and don't think it's for me

There was a small line forming prior to opening. We waited about 20 minutes for our order to be made. We shared the Sunset Beach and added the Snow Cap. Probably best to skip the snow cap. I didn't taste the condensed milk at all. The flavor is delicious. Towards the bottom of the shaved ice, there wasn't anymore flavor though.

The Hawaiian barbecue chicken was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor without being dry at all. The real star of the meal, though, was the short ribs. They were unbelievably tender, perfectly seasoned, and practically fell apart with every bite. Every part of the meal was cooked with care, and you could taste the quality in every dish. The service made the experience even better. Everyone greeted us with a smile, was genuinely welcoming, and made us feel appreciated from the moment we walked in. It's always refreshing to eat somewhere that not only serves amazing food but also has a team that clearly enjoys taking care of its customers. This was easily one of the best Hawaiian meals I've had in a long time, and I already know I'll be back. I'm especially excited to try the chicken katsu next because if it's anywhere near as good as the barbecue chicken and short ribs, I'm sure it'll be another favorite. If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian comfort food with generous portions, incredible flavors, and outstanding service, this place absolutely deserves a visit.

Over the years I've gotten take-out here but have also done dine-in. It seems they mostly do catering now, because they have very short business hours for the public. They are only open Thursdays and Fridays 10-3. Per the nice male employee who gave me my order, they're open on Sat and Sun if they don't have a lot of catering jobs, otherwise they're closed. Their website says their dining room is closed, but the employee says it's open Thurs and Fri. Nevertheless, I followed the website's info and ordered pick up. Here's what I ordered: 1) Komai's Big Breakfast. Komai was Aloha's original chef. Two eggs with all the meats: Portuguese sausage, Spam, Vienna sausage, corned beef hash plus 2 scoops of rice and a Hawaiian roll. No surprises here, very nice. 2) Kal B Chicken plate lunch. Chicken marinated in the same sauce as the more familiar kalbi beef short ribs, with rice and mac salad. The chicken did not seem to take up the marinade as well as beef, so it was tasty but on the dry side. I'd probably give their chicken teriyaki a go next time. The mac salad was fine, did have potatoes. 3) Spam musubi. Again no surprises, classic 4) ordered a side of char siu, but it was not available. A nice go-to if you're hankering for classic Hawaiian on a Thurs or Fri.

It is a small, unassuming little place with a free parking lot. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly, and I have to say, the service was great! The lady at the counter was super sweet and made small talk with me. I got my order which came out to $17.12 after tax. Food-wise, the fried chicken was indeed delicious! I loved the batter: it was shatteringly crisp. The chicken was tender and flavored well, but I loved the sauce that came with it! For the mac salad, I thought it was just okay. It tasted a bit plain from other mac salads I've tried, but the noodles were cooked perfectly. For the price, the portion size is okay, but I'm not complaining since the food was good. Overall, the friendly service and fried chicken is what makes me want to come back again! I definitely want to try their other offerings too. Would recommend!
