I wish I paid attention to the fact that mine came with THIN noods though... I feel like I would've enjoyed my dish way more with thick noodles. To be honest, I should have done the build-your-own Ramen and selected everything I wanted myself... now I know. You live and you learn. The Wontons were good but we didn't eat much of it, as it came out the same time as the ramen. Once the ramen was served, our main focus was on that and that filled us up! Packed the rest to go. For this being our first time, it wasn't bad but it didn't wow us. If I'm being honest, so far-- the best Ramen we've ever had was in a small little shop we found while in Thailand back in March (yup, Thailand!). Unfair to this rating maybe? We chose to commemorate it by having dinner at O-iza and what a wonderful choice it was! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were immersed into the a serene and beautiful environment characteristic of the Japanese culture. The young ladies that greeted us and then ushered us to the patio were lovely and gracious. It was then that we met Donavin who became our adept curator for the evening. He effortlessly, patiently and with insight matched our curiosities and tastes to the perfect menu choices. We quickly realized that we were barely scratching the surface of the delightful selections that the menu has to offer. That means we need to return and continue our exploration. It's a hole in the wall, as evidenced by the fact that the restroom is out back in the alley, a few doors down. Nothing against a restaurant being a hole in the wall, but for $100 for 5 plates, no drinks, the food better be great, not just good. I feel like Miso is this areas version of Teriyaki Don, except Teriyaki Don is cheaper, with more options. I'm sure we will be back. Hopefully by then the menu will have expanded to include Teriyaki bowls or something

First, I write very few reviews. this may be my 4th ever. I used to really enjoy this place. However, during and post pandemic, it has changed. In room dining is okay, but take out orders are what this review focuses on. The past 3 times I have ordered for take out, I have been CHARGED DIFFERENTLY for each order. Last night I ordered (Friday night) it was somewhat busy, so paid the bill, grabbed the food and walked out. Looking at the bill, I was charged above menu price for most items. I called the restaurant, shared my concern and asked why the past 3 orders prices are different. I was told prices have changed, and I understand that food cost and business expenses have gone up. I am a current business owner and member of the local Chamber of Commerce. The person on the phone confirmed my order and told me what I should have paid, based on what was in the computer, and it was still different than what I was just charged, in 1 case by $2.45 for one of the rolls. I am then asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. No not really, just be honest and fix it as I am certain I am not the only customer this is happening to. I did get a sorry out of it. There is a number of good sushi bars in town. Wasabi is one I would recommend. Dishonest restaurants do not deserve business. I don't chalk it up to an honest mistake and 3 times is a charm. read more

Hope this doesn't come as a shock after reading the other reviews, but this place makes me feel.... off. First of all, you could call the service horrible or slow but the thing is... its calculated and its on purpose. I will tell you why. You ever go here for all you can eat sushi and get your first round or 2 fairly quickly... only to wait for 45+ minutes BETWEEN rounds for the rest of your food? Let me tell you what is happening to your stomach in the meantime... IT IS GETTING FULL. That's right... hold my order hostage so that I eat less. WOW. Reason I know this to be true is that I have been here multiple times, in different size groups, at different times of the day. And I will tell you that it only happens when you get all you can eat and only when you are trying to eat all you can. SMH read more

After all our party had arrived it took a half hour for a waitress to come to our table to take our order or to give us drinks. The food came to our table sporadically, and two people had to wait an hour for their food to come. The owner kept making excuses, and when one of our party found a big piece of plastic wrap in the food all they did was make excuses. The food was average, but the way they treat their customers is terrible. There were also people who were seated behind us that were yelling at the owner and the waitress because they had problems. The service here has always been nearly non existent. The food used to be very good but has gone down hill. Used to come for the good food and just put up with the service issue. But now since the food isn't any good, we'll have to find another sushi spot :( Advice to owner/management: replace or hire more servers and spend more time and care preparing food. You shouldn't have to ask the server 3 separate times, over a time span of 15 mins for a side of terriaki. read more

We lucked out and got there at a perfect time because right after we sat down, people slowly started flowing in. My husband ordered the udon and my daughter got the beef bowl and both of them absolutely loved their food. I wasn't super starving, so I just loaded up on a bunch of appetizers instead. I tried the fried dumplings, takoyaki and the fried tofu. The tofu was a total surprise, seriously crispy on the outside and silky smooth on the inside. The takoyaki was perfectly cooked too. There's nothing worse than biting into one that is still running inside! Everything came out hot, fresh and delicious. I like that it's fairly close to home and that the location has plenty of parking. If you're in the area, you should definitely stop in for a bite!

The woman who helped me was nice--just standard service. I ordered my roll and was handed a little pager thing to wait for my order to be ready. Once it was ready, I was handed the roll in a styrofoam box and went to eat it at a table. I got the orange dragon roll, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was some of the freshest-tasting (and texture) I've ever had! Not to mention everything else in the roll complimented it perfectly. Definitely check them out.

The Grobak Sushi menu is limited with 14-sushi rolls offered and three other items; takoyaki balls, gyoza, and spam musubi. I went with my bartenders recommendation and ordered the Orange Dragon roll. This is tempura fried shrimp, spicy crab, cucumber, and topped with salmon. I know this isn't traditional sushi, but it was still delicious! Everything tasted extremely fresh and really hit the spot. From the time we ordered to the time, our food was done was less than 10-minutes. I normally opt for soy wrap, sushi, which they did have and I greatly appreciated. If you're out and about and see this food truck at a farmers market or your local brewery parking lot, do not save on this and order some sushi ASAP!
