I occasionally have to visit Kaiser on Geary. After my visit, I have an excuse to reward myself with a visit to Opa Cafe because it's right adjacent to Kaiser. My go-to order is the Greek Omlette. It comes out fresh, hot, and tasty, with good filling and avocado slices on top. I've had it with the hash browns, but the real way to get it is with the salad. Large portions of greens with plenty of chopped goodies mixed in. Good coffee, and coolers with good drinks too. And I usually fall for a large fresh cookie that's displayed right next to the cash register. Cheerful and busy staff, nice woman-owned who's always ready with a friendly greeting, and a good mix of neighborhood and hospital staff. (3 stars) we placed an order of: ++ double cheeseburger, medium well done, add bacon. Delicious and very filling. I took 1 bite with sesame toasted bun (good!) and ate the rest without buns. So good. The fixin' are fresh and goes great with burger. ++the pulled pork burger, well done, while it's an okay burger, we feel that it was misrepresented as Hb told me he didn't see or taste any pulled pork in his burger. Just seems like burger with bbq sauce. ++garlic Parmesan fries, tasty but a little soggy from condensation due to packaging. 2. Salads Here (4 stars); we placed an order of: ++house salad with choice of arugula and we added tri-tip, avocado, egg, cucumber, olives, almonds, with thousand island dressing.
