My wife and I were taking a quick drive down PCH before heading in land for a wedding. We needed to grab some breakfast that would be healthy, filling, and not take to long. We caught the words "breakfast" on the awning so we circled around and found a parking space across from Ralph's (metered). As we stepped inside we were immediately in a long line to order food. The dining area looks like a converted garage jammed with seating, but we decided to order and take our chances that a table would open up before the food arrived. The place was packed with locals that all appeared to know one another. The workers ran food, yelling names to figure out where to go. Everyone was helpful and cordial in the midst of the chaos. Their pastries looked amazing, but we're trying to eat healthier so I had to forgo tasting the house specialties. We ordered an omelet which was hot and tasty. We were on our way before the meter expired, ready for the day and better off for our stop at the Orange Inn. read more

Good coffee here! Tried the filter coffee and a soy cappuccino. Both good! Nice and friendly staff too. They also sell yesterday's cabinet food (muffins etc) at a very discounted price and still tasted fresh and yum! Would return if we were here for longer. read more

I'm giving four stars based on the fact that from my first visit, they keep up the good service. It was on a slower tuesday. No one was in line. I saw the sign for a Date Shake. Last one I ever had was at Disney's California Adventure, which has sadly been taken away due to the new Car's Land. Oh well, so I try this place in passing. The price, roughly around $5 for a date shake, not bad. The quality, I like. Some pieces of Dates here n there in every sip, and the shake was nice and thick also. MY SERVICE EXPERIENCE was very friendly and helpful. I believe her name was Beth. If you're reading this, keep up the service! It's what will bring people back guaranteed! So will I come back? Sure. I still gotta try more off their menu including some of their pastries and sandwiches. read more

Best cafe in Laguna! You can get a turkey and ham sandwich on wheat almost any American styled cafe, or even make it at home, but I will come here any chance I get just for the orange inn sub. I crave it while I'm away from Laguna. I don't know what they do to make a simple sandwich taste so good. It's must be the love put into it from the owner, John. Food always tastes fresh, breakfast served all day. You can't go wrong. I also love the curried pumpkin soup, O.I. smoothie, great coffee, tasty pastries (orange cranberry is my personal fave). Staff is always friendly and dining area is well kept. Great photos of surfers and the town from way back in the day. Never been disappointed here. Definitely would recommend it! read more

The salsa was the best thing about my meal, I had the Orange Inn breakfast burrito which was very good, but the salsa is what I'd go in for again, it tasted like a great salsa that was made with the freshest ingredients and left to marinade to achieve that perfect salsa taste. Other yelpers rated their coffee as the best in Laguna beach, I would have to disagree since I had some coffee at Las Brisas the same evening that was far superior to the Orange Inn. read more

The sizing of this cafe is a little tiny but everything else makes up for it. The customer service and food are amazing. For a first timer I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. I came in with a large group of 12 and the workers got the food out in an efficient amount of time My friend and I shared the cinnamon roll and not only did it melt in our mouths but it was a great size! I got the potato, egg, cheese & chorizo burrito and WOW. It was by far the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I only give 1 star reviews when I am pissed off... They say they have the "best coffee in town" on both their awning and on their window, so of course I got the coffee. The coffee was burnt tasting dirty water - full stop, period. It is quite possibly the worst coffee in town. The egg sandwich was a 6 out of 10. I would have complained and asked for a refund but the joint is so packed with tourists, that you can hardly move around inside, never mind getting one of the staff's attention. read more

Came here over the weekend and I do not recommend this place at all. Customer service - Bad There was a customer in line who happened to be a minority. The young woman who was taking orders treated her well. However, the older woman who rang the customer up did not; she was very curt to the customer, would only say "ok" or "mm-hmm" to her (not even so much as a "welcome", "would you like anything else with that", "have a good day"...literally no customer service), and wouldn't smile at her. How did she treat the next customer who happened to be a white guy? Entirely different; she completely changed her behavior and treated the white guy very well. I don't have tolerance for an establishment who hires people with selective customer service based on a person's appearance. Price - Outrageously overpriced $6 for a small milkshake; $12 for basic deli sandwiches. Taste - Bland I had just the pineapple mango milkshake, which basically tasted like a watered down mango vanilla shake. I really have no idea how they get away with charging $6 for it. read more

Where can I start .. the food was immaculate! Me and my friend came to the beach and were looking for a quick bite before we headed back home & stumbled upon this restaurant. They had menus available for everyone. We got a blueberry muffin , the orange inn smoothie, the potato egg cheese and steaks burrito, a coffee, and French toast plate. The burrito's steak was so juicy and it came with chips which helped fill me up. The French toast was crisp and warm. My muffin was a good desert. A nice gentleman who worked there with white hair would check up on us which was very thoughtful. He also threw away our trash and got me a new mask because he noticed mine was dirty from my makeup lol. I give this place the 5 stars because it deserves them. 5 stars for the food 5 for the service. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend to my friends. The house blend coffee here is pretty good although I wish it were a bit stronger. Coffee usually being tart I was hoping the coffee would pack a bigger punch for its advertisement of "best coffee in town". I ordered my large black coffee as I usually do at any spot I go to but was left with quite a big gap up top as if I were to suddenly change my mind and want creamer or milk or something. I would recommend anyone coming here to ask to fill close to top if you like your coffee black & catch it right away. What seems to be one of the leading baristas he was very polite and attentive to my short order considering it was early in the morning, versus the younger gentlemen behind bar who was a bit short with words and gave me the impression that it was a bit too early for him to interact with someone... The space is very calming but feels more like a pick up (or eat) and go. May not be a space to hang out and "chill at". 3.5 stars. Plus .5 for the nicer barista. read more
