Not up to par. Had the marinara with meatballs. The meatballs looked like they were boiled meat. All grey with no taste at all. The sauce was like flavored tomato paste, lumpy and over flavored with oregano. Ordered a salad with it and the pasta came out first!! Had to send it back to go 'under a warmer' until the salad was eaten. Had to get up and find the server to ask for some silverware. The drinks were prompt but in less than a minute the pasta came out. The place is obviously staffed with college students that really dont care about customer service. I was meeting some coworkers for dinner next to there hotel. Several seats open at the bar and the bar tender was more concerned with washing glasses than serving people so I waited 20 minutes for service only after flagging him down. My other 2 came and they also had to flag bartender down from his dishwasher. I asked for a menu and he said "oh I thought you were just drinking"! Horrible service and NOT what you want to see at any establishment. I asked for another adult beverage and he gave attitude. He was not interested in his job and our party ended up leaving. Just a horrific attempt at service. If your bartender can't handle a dull mundane task because there wasn't many people there..... he needs to get replaced ASAP. Horrific behavior in the service industry. Won't be recommending or visiting anytime soon. Our party decided to leave early and the bill would have been "exceptional" for those involved. This place gets busy! Service was five stars the night we dined here with our party of 4. Our server explained that some items might take a while but since we had our sights and stomach on completely indulging ourselves, we thought everything was perfectly spaced out. Stopped here for lunch and glad we did! Let's start with the food - very good! I had the wedding soup and in addition to the marble-sized meatballs, it included one baseball sized meatball! And they were moist and tender. The soup was very tasty. My wife had the gluten free pizza and it was also quite good. But along with the food is the ambience - it's the 1930s! I stayed at the Hampton Inn and this restaurant was conveniently located in the same parking lot. The food was very good. I came here with my boyfriend and we ordered a sausage deep dish, wings, and mac n cheese. Deep dish pizza was very delicious. Wings were good and I loved that it came with free chips on the side. The mac n cheese was my favorite. It had the right amount of cheesiness and a bit of spiciness. The service was great too. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often.
