My favorite Italian place in a long time! Hunter, the bartender has fantastic customer service. He made the experience more enjoyable.

I have eaten pizza in many places and the pizza at Oregano's is the best. Please try it and you will find it to be excellent. While I haven't eaten pizza at every restaurant I believe that you will find it to be very flavorful. They have deep dish and stuffed but I prefer thin crust. Oregano's is great. Just a little crisp. I really like the meat pizza. Staff was very personable and the service was excellent. We travel between California and New Mexico and always schedule a stop in Flagstaff to go to Oregano's. Tonight was our server's last night and she had the enthusiasm of a recent hire. The manager stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with our dinner. The wine server was just as enthusiastic as our server. She suggested an alternative to our wine choice and her pick was great. If you want great pizza and Italian food in an informal and family oriented setting, please try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. read more

We live in Texas, anytime we go west we make it a point to stop here. All the food we have tried is really, very, very, good. I give this place 4 stars for sure, because the atmosphere is really from the past, I would say just guessing, maybe 40's - 50's. The place is very clean, the staff is excellent, the food is great. The inside is just nice to look around and see the things they have on the walls, hanging, etc. Even the TV's have old black and white entertainment, no color TV's here. :) If you come here you will not be disappointed...well, we never have been for sure... read more

This is another review in light of more current experiences. We have enjoyed Oreganos restaurant for the last three years. It was always a wonderful experience. However, last night was not a delightful experience. The service is questionable. We have had this waitress before. She is passable. We ordered endless pasta with meat sauce. The plates arrived cold with gooey pasta. We sent it back. The replacement was tepid. I had ricotta pasta mixed in with my spaghetti noodles. Chunks of beef that looked awful. I ate a few bites and did not finish. I grant you, it was Sunday and perhaps the B team was in place. But one bad experience is enough. read more

I'm a local and have loved Oregano's for years! But the last few times I've been there have been disappointing. First of all, it's full on winter here and yet the air conditioning continues to blow to the point I have to eat with my coat on. Secondly, they serve their red wines chilled now. Not room temp. Not just slightly cool, but full on chilled. Not a fan! And third, the food quality has deteriorated. Tonight the Big Rig pasta lacked sauce except a little in the bottom of the bowl and was cool half way thru. Only the very bottom was warm. I will say the cheesy garlic bread was fabulous. But that's not enough to keep me coming back. I'm moving on. So sad. read more

I love this place holy shit. I go to the one in gilbert all the time but there's always a huge wait!!!!!! This place hasn't had a wait any of the times I've gone in and the manager always comes and checks and he seems really sweet. We were staying in town and decided to pick up food from here. We got the shrimp Diablo pasta and chicken Parmesan sandwich. The pasta was delicious however I couldn't even eat the sandwich..the chicken was rubbery and I couldn't even take a bite from it!! Absolutely disgusting. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3 was because the restaurant was very busy and the person did a really good job managing all the takeout orders. read more

Oregano's has been an absolute favorite for several years. No matter the location visited. Our visit yesterday was disappointing. We learned that about 2 months ago Corporate changed their menu and removed a number of "our" favorites and frankly the reason we continue to frequent their chain. With the change in the menu there is no longer a draw for us to return and we'll likely find another favorite. The quality of their food is above average and their Bellini's are great. read more

Turning off the highway my wife and I didn't want fast food. We found this place on Yelp, and tbh...we weren't expecting much. When we opened the door we were greeted with beautiful music from the 30's, 40's and 50's, a nice and personable hostess (Sarah)and a restaurant FILLED with vintage artifacts...so cool. We had a great waitress (Kelsie) bring us to our table and was open to conversation about why we were coming through the city. Now...the food. Our food was delicious. Their menu is very basic but what you receive is not. I ordered the veggie sandwich (I have no idea why, I never order anything veggie but I decided to give it a try), it was toasted on a baguette, with butter, pesto and delicately chopped veggies with homemade chips and two pickle slices. It was fantastic!!! My wife ordered a salad and again, on the menu it looked basic but she received a MASSIVE salad, done right, with great taste to boot. Highly recommend Oreganos! read more

Went to this location last night for first time. Had to wait a half hour -okay we were willing to. Apparently they are having staff issues and while our server was nice the delays in everything was ridiculous because the kitchen was short staffed. The food was mediocre at best and one person in party said his tastes awful. Only one who really enjoyed their meal was my three year old granddaughter and it was noodles and a meatball. After a long day of traveling, we checked into our hotel near Oregano's. My husband walked over to get a take out order of pepperoni pizza and stuffed rigatoni. The bartender took the order from my husband. After waiting quite a while, he asked about the order and she says "Oh, c***!" under her breath. She was perfectly nice, but was so busy chatting up some guys at the bar that she never put in the order! ONE HOUR after coming in to order, he finally got it. (The check came long before the food.) We get it back to the hotel, and guess what? NO pepperoni on the pizza and no silverware in the bag for the pasta. This was on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't particularly busy. Great food and fabulous service, especially during Covid precautions. We were traveling through Flagstaff, chose this spot after high praise from my brother in Phoenix. Kids loved the garlic bread and various pastas. Our family of four shared the big salad, and it was plenty. Pretty solid gluten-free pizza for me, which is often an underwhelming find; good cider on hand too! We were a little short on time, and wait staff got us in and out without even feeling like rushing. Great find! read more

We used to like coming here. Today we wanted to come here and enjoy some of our favorites,,,,, as soon as I walked in, one of the gals saw me and knew I was going to ask for a table. She walked away and said something to another gal, sweeping the floor. The gal sweeping came over and I told her we need table for 7. She said it would take an hour and a half!!!! Have been a fan of Oregano's since going to one over 10 years ago. Love their wings, their Alfredo the dark, cheesy garlic bread, and their pazookie is hands down the best! Coming from out of town to beat the heat. Decided to wait an hour to sit down and eat. Right at an hour we were notified, great! True to the word of how long the wait was gonna be. Get seated right away. Ordered appetizers about 5-7 minutes after we sat down. Got our drinks right away. Our waiter Tony, started off so good, at first. But after we ordered we waited an additional 45 minutes, at least, for our food. Watched a couple who came in after us get their food before us, and we still had to wait about 10 minutes until the food actually came. No apology, just gave us our food like it hadn't taken almost an hour to get it. Did I mention we're too middle aged black women, and everyone else getting served and attentive to were of a lighter complexion? And when I mean lighter complexion, they were white or Hispanic. Ok. So Tony, never topped off our drinks, we may have seen him twice the hour we sat eating then waiting for him to get done talking video games at the bar with other patrons, to ask if we needed more water, napkins, boxes, and if we were ready to get the check. My friend mentions to him that she'd been waiting for water for a while. 'Oh I'm sorry about that, can I get you some now?' This is asked after we said we're ready for the check. How long do you think it took Tony to get us our boxes and the check? Literally a minute and a half. Thanks, Tony! And just to add insult to injury my friend tipped him 15% so that they can't say black people don't tip well. If it were up to me, you would've got what you worked for, maybe $2. You're welcome, Tony. I plan to come back to flagstaff but won't be eating at Oregano's on Country Club. read more

The pizza I've eaten for like 20 years is no more. Lawrence's Original, a beautiful tasty pie, spinach and garlic and mushrooms with cheese on top, is suddenly a cheese on bottom pizza. First time visit to this new location. Very attractive restaurant with retro looking interior decor. Friendly and smiling staff everywhere with pleasant greetings. Waiter was attentive although the conversation was nearly impossible due to background music turned up to an uncomfortable level. If management is reading this please understand that many customers, me included DO NOT appreciate music so loud it's an annoyance, distracting, and creates an unpleasant atmosphere. The side salad was excellent, especially with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I found the pizza to be over-baked to the point of being very dry and tough; consistency similar to a frozen pizza. read more

This was our first trip to Oregano's. The wait time was under 5 minutes. Our hostess was Tonya and our waitress was Paige. They were both very friendly and checked on us often. I ordered 4 items and overall, very DISAPPOINTED. We are visiting from San Diego, CA and after driving all day we decided to order take out. the first sign was that the phone order would take 50 minutes long. I have ordered way more items at other places and they were ready in 15 min or less. Who wants soggy food! So we ordered the following: Garlic bread - WAY TOO SALTY. my son said he thought he took a sip from the ocean water. Couldn't eat it. Thin crust pepperoni pizza - It was ok but there were several slices that again too salty and it tasted it more like a BBQ pizza rather than pepperoni. Super Beef something salad - this salad supposed to be awesome. the meat was bland and had a weird taste. Like it was store behind something for days. The only thing good was the greens. the dressing was still spicy even though i said no spice at all. luckily i had some vinaigrette with me. meatball sandwich - it was ok but the problem was by the time we got it the bread was too soggy. I think the only good thing from this dish was the pickle that came with it and the sweet potato fries. It was sad that our first dining experience here in Flagstaff was a nightmare.
