It's Oregano's. It stays true to the brand. The lines are enormously long, but the service is great once you get seated. The food is good albeit fully of deliciously bad stuff for those of use tracking our food. Great for large groups and generally having a good time. read more

This place is a gem. Our waiter whose name I did not catch was wonderful. Did not rush us and also gave us a little background on the founder of Oregano's. The menu was extensive but not overwhelming as some places. This was my second visit to this location but third visit to an Oregano's, the first being in Tucson. All visits were consistent as far as the food, great!!! I had the chicken parm pasta twice and the chicken wasn't the flattened frozen stuff you get at the Olive Garden, it was coated nicely and had some depth to it. The sauce wasn't over done and it not repeat on us hours later. Nicely spiced. The decor also arounds up the experience of dining there. The whole place from food, staff and decor makes the wait to get in worth it. Yum. That's all I have to say. The NY cheesecake is the best. The only "downside " is the serving size is for two, not one lol.

Went to dinner and had a terrible experience. Kept the door open the whole time while we were eating, which caused us to be freezing. service wasn't great either. The waiter never checked on us, and our food was cold. For a nicer restaurant, this is not the place to go. read more

My husband and I have always had great experiences here! Great food, great service! They are very conscientious about food allergies too! I am Celiac and I have full confidence in their kitchen staff eating here. I have never been sick after eating the gluten free crust or the Caesar salad no croutons with extra anchovies! They make their own dressing and it's all homemade tasting. The Queen Creek location is hands down the best! The cocktails are fabulous and perfectly made! Plus the crust on my pizza is always cooked perfect!! My husband gets the thin crust and he said it's delicious and crispy. They know how to make a great pie!! They got rid of Birthday Pizza Cookies but give you a choice likes it's still included. Then, SURPRISE, it's on the bill. When you ask about it, they say you have to be a member and there isn't anything they can do if you aren't. The food was mediocre. For similar pricing, Olive Garden is across the street. Olive Garden gives better service, better quality, better flavor, and a better environment where the doors aren't left open, letting you get hit with hot breezes as you eat. Probably won't be returning. This Oregano's was only OK but not worth the prices charged. Their large meatballs are no longer large and taste like the frozen ones you buy in a Walmart Freezer section. They really shrunk to save money but increased prices too. read more

This used to be our favorite place to eat in Queen Creek, but I'm not sure what's happened lately - perhaps change of management? Our last two experiences there have been frustrating to say the least. There seems to be a huge focus on cost savings now, the servers are running around like chickens with their heads cut off, the wait to be served, or get your bill so you can leave is exceptionally long. First disappointing experience happened a few weeks ago. We got there early so there was no wait. We were sat at a table immediately but waited a good 20 minutes before our server showed up to even take our drink order. We ordered everything at once because we didn't know when he'd be back. When we finally got our antipasto salad after another considerable wait, which is usually delicious btw, the salad had NO dressing. We were served dry lettuce. I called the server back over, showed him the error and told him we needed the salad dressing. He brought back two tiny plastic side containers with 4 mm of dressing in it only. I asked him if he could bring more to cover the entire salad and was told more dressing costs extra. I told him we didn't want EXTRA dressing just what should have been on the salad in the first place. He brought the manager over and I re explained the entire situation. At that point even the manager told us more dressing would be extra! I finally snapped at him that I would have no issue paying for extra dressing if we were served the salad we ordered correctly and were provided the salad dressing that comes with the salad! The manager did finally bring us more dressing and we weren't charged for it, but I was beyond frustrated at this point. Dinner was finally brought to us much later, we were there forever and left irritated. Not being one to judge an establishment off of one bad experience, as everyone has bad days, we decided to go back yesterday. When we were finally seated, our waiter took forever to get to the table. We once again ordered everything at once because we had no idea how long it would take for him to get back to is. Dinner was served quickly but we were not provided utensils to eat it with. I had to ask twice for silverware! We both just sat looking at our food getting cold, and started picking at it with our fingers! I then saw our waiter with our utensils in his hand at the table across from us talking with some customers. He could have simply turned around and handed us our forks but instead I literally almost had to take them out of his hand so we could eat and had to interrupt his convo with those people so we could eat our food, which by now was lukewarm. It was like he could not focus on more than one task at hand or simply could not keep up with the number of patrons in his section. Another table behind us literally had to yell loudly across the restraunt to get their check so they could finally leave. Everyone in our section was extremely frustrated with the wait times and not being provided either what was ordered or basic tools to eat. Not sure what's happened to this place, but the quality and attention to detail has gone WAY down. I may give this place one more shot but after that it's not worth the frustration. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! Arrived at 6pm to celebrate my daughter's birthday and were told it would be a half hour wait. An hour later we were told another 10 minutes and when we asked for a manager, they somehow found 2 round tables to shove together in a back room - mind you, we passed several empty tables on the way. Fine, we are seated and apologies are made. Jordan, the manager, assures us that he will make sure we are taken care of and things are done right. If only we knew what a joke that was. 20 minutes or so later, we have drinks and garlic bread. But no napkins, plates or utensils. I had to go to the bar and ask for napkins. An HOUR later, we still have no food, they have run out of silverware and are pouring soda refills from folded paper cups. Meanwhile, we've been looking at the dirty tables behind us when someone finally came to clean it, spilling water on the floor. He walked away, never cleaning it up. Moments later, a man from the next table fell in the mess of water and bits of food on the floor. Our food, when it arrived, was just ok. My daughter asked for more dressing, never got it. Pizza was lukewarm. One of our party's food arrived 15 minutes after the rest of the food did. We never got drink refills or did anyone check to see if we needed anything else with our meal. The manager's attempt to "make it right" was to give us a cookie. This is after we'd been there for THREE HOURS. On a Wednesday night!!! In the end, things were made right after my husband had a talk with the manager. How this man can be in charge of a restaurant is beyond me. He clearly has no idea what he is doing or how to properly schedule the appropriate number of needed staff. It was pathetic. Based on the prior similar reviews, it is clear that the company has no intention of improving things at this location and this speaks volumes of their lack of overall company management and customer service. Myself and my family will never again eat at this - or any other - location again. read more

Came here on New Year's day. Very busy. My friend enjoyed their gluten free pizza but very expensive with the toppings. The Brussel Sprouts were burned and they charged us for a side of ranch. The waitress a little disrespectful. 2 gluten free pizzas, order of Brussel Sprouts. 1 large slice which was not impressive 2 sodas & 1 beer the bill was a whopping $76. Went in on a Friday night for dinner at 8:00. There was a 45 min wait. Typical for a weekend I think. My husband and I had an impromptu lunch at Oregano's on Monday 11/15/2021. We never have time off together so it was a rare treat. KENDRA was our server and let me tell you SHE IS A SAINT. This poor girl was serving, bussing, sweeping, and she was NOT in an easy section by any stretch of the imagination. She had a very cranky customer that was wayyyy to vocal about it adjacent to us, a couple that were literally all over each other (probably chewing each other's food) directly behind my husband and a customer that unfortunately was verbally unintelligible directly behind me. The customer directly behind me left the restaurant to go outside several times for lengthy periods of time and ultimately ordered food to go. It was all very odd. She was polite to everyone of them. We could hear her. She didn't seem flustered or taken aback by her customers even though we were. The food is always delicious at Oregano's but the 5 stars go to Kendra...not the restaurant, the SERVER. read more

The simple house salad is nothing compared to other salads offered. The salad came with plenty of lettuce but literally came with a counted amount of toppings. 3 croutons. 3 tomatoes. 3 onions. 4 cucumber slices. We let the manager know we were disappointed and she took it off our bill which was nice of her to do. I recommend the Mexican or Kale salad. We got a large 18" pizza which fed four and we had left overs. They were generous with the toppings but the pizza was quite oily. The King Eggplant Parm was delicious as always. read more

I haven't been to an Oregano's in over 10 years. We were happy to come back and rediscover some great food! The pasta was al dente and the sauce wasn't full of sugar. We will definitely be back for more bites and wine. My one issue (and it's minor) are the wine glasses. They are very thick and warm (the thicker ones hold in more heat) like they had just come out of the dishwasher. I love my Pinot Grigio super cold. It was more like room temperature from the first sip. It's ok though- the food made up for it. read more

We love this Oregano's location. They have a great atmosphere, good food and fantastic service. They have great pizza, calamari and the chicken piccata is my favorite. Our typical server Melissa, always has the best attitude and great suggestions for food and beverages. Best Italian food EVER, especially for a restaurant chain!! No wonder this place is sooo popular!! They serve a wonderful menu chocked full of rich, cheesy, garlicky oooey-gooey goodness!! Pasta's, Pizza's, Sandwich's, Salad's, French Bread to top it all off!! There is something for everyone, too!! Oh, and did I mention their staff?? Very friendly and extremely efficient staff members work there. They make sure you have everything you need and if you have to make a dietary change for you or you're family, they can absolutely accommodate you there too! I recommend this restaurant because this place takes you to a whole other era of time!! Very unique decorations, memorabilia and music lets you feel like a kid again or let's you have a glimpse of a time gone by!! The nostalgia is AMAZING!! You've got to go check this place out!
