Service was fine, but my love with Oregano's Numero One-O is over. I moved here in 2001. It was my absolute favorite pizza with the pinched sausage. Now they have changed it and are using ground sausage. It totally changes the taste of the pizza and is disgusting. I assume they are raising the cost of pizza and cutting the quality. I am sure original family is proud. No more Oregano's pizza for me. Have to find new pizza place. read more

We went mid-afternoon. We stood and waited at the door along with a few other groups until someone finally seated us. The wait staff seemed busy - our server was also the bartender and did a good job. HOWEVER -our food was not great. We each ordered the slice of pizza, which was actually 2 slices. Not too bad with respect to toppings, except there was hardly any sauce or cheese on it! Probably the driest pizza I have ever had. Pretty frustrated. We ordered takeout today and specifically ordered their special. I am fully aware it was while supplies last however when I placed my order I was told they had the special. When I picked up my food the special had sold out. The restaurant was rude and made it sound like no big deal we didn't get the special since it was a limited supply. That is poor management, when we placed our order ours should have been put aside. We will definitely not keep them on our list to return to. read more

3rd time ordering TakeOut from this location. 1st time ok. 2nd time paid for meatballs on Ziti, but surprise when I got home NO meatballs, but was charged for them. Last night was a 3rd try as my grandson wanted it. I asked for a mgr to bring to his attention the screenshot on my phone that showed the prices paid for the order. Told him we did not get the meatballs, but he sort of blew me off because the details weren't there, but the price showed the difference. NOW come on. NEW customer, no mention of compensation, or what can I do to make this right, or... Well NOTHING! My husband and I have both worked in restaurants in our younger days. My first time at his place & it was the bomb! Everything was delicious and flavorful best part its alot just like a real Italian family style dishes/plates. I definitely had left overs. There was 7 adults & 2 kids which really filled our appetite! Most definitely coming back to try their other dishes! Huge Guaca-Tony: Yum is all I can say! Its a large pizza crust layered with parmesan cheese & a scoop of avacado Wings of Fire: Its spicy hot but good Italian Gold Wings: A honey mustard BBQ taste if you like sweet & sour flavor, Alfrado Dark: I order with chicken & it was delish! The creamy pobkanos favor was mouth watering. Big Rig Pasta: Order with sausages. This was no joke it was a big plate but the tomato chipotle cream sauce flavor was unbelievable yummy! We ordered 3 meals to go Spaghetti and meatballs turned out okay but chicken parm and lasagna were horrible. Chicken parm overcooked and greasy and lasagna basically no flavor with the exception of salt from the overcooked cheese. You couldn't taste the spinach or any resemblance of a noodle or tomato sauce. Just salty fried mozzarella. The presentation was okay with the exception of the lasagna. I just came here last weekend for my Homecoming dinner, and was so happy to be there. The waitress was sweet, funny, and welcoming. She talked to our group and made us all smile. We got our food in record time and ate the most DELICIOUS meal! Our group got the Three Sausage Salad with the deep dish pepperoni pizza. The food was so filling and delicious, and I was able to talk and laugh with my friends freely. It was wonderful to have a nice meal for a not expensive cost. It was fun and extremely enjoyable. The environment was welcoming and we were attended with super efficient service. I wish I could remember the waitress's name, because she definitely deserves a raise! Came in for Friday night dinner, expecting a wait as for that is everywhere no problem. We were lucky to find a barstool at the bar and were taken care of drink wise. We declined eating at the bar as for that wasn't the environment we wanted to eat at. Waited passed the estimated time (still ok, I understand) but to in turn be seated at the one booth in the bar. Also, just a side note if you have a digital menu for people to use, then the products on it should be offered...but to my surprise they "aren't on the menu anymore" (sausage and peppers pasta). Overall not a great experience, the bartenders are busy at the bar. So we didn't ever get a server or a dinner environment that we intended for the whole time. Plus the one time she visited our table beside to take our order which was the first time, she asked if we were waiting for something....30 minutes into our dinning experience after being "seated" **EDIT** The manager Jose came to the table and was very accommodating and offered to make said pasta, even after declined he still packed it to go for us. He also offered us a gift card upon departure and we said to keep it and give it to a veteran next time one is in, hope that actually happens. read more

I was really excited to try this Oreganos considering it had opened recently. However, I was extremely disappointed in the service. The other valley Oreganos locations always have the most outgoing and attentive staff. Unfortunately, this location did not reach the usual standards. Our waiter was not helpful nor was he friendly. The wait time was said to be half an hour... there was no one left by the time we were called an hour later. Not only did we wait double the time, we were also seated outside (which had been available from the time we got there). The only reason I give this location any stars is because of the great food, which came out fresh and hot. The portions are large and very filling. Plus, the cookie with ice cream (I believe the official term is "pazooki") is to die for. I will most definitely be returning to Oreganos, but I will not come back to this location. read more

I understand busy but I'm standing here and have watched 3 parties of people who came in after us who were seated before us. I was told a 20-30 minute wait.. I get it , Thursday night, busy and lots of traffic but I've waited almost 52 minutes to be seated. At an hour wait I left. Absolutely the worst take out service. After calling ahead for a relatively small order, I waited over 30 minutes while one manager took care of larger take out orders. I ended up leaving without my food, as I grew tired of standing there. If you're looking for quick take out, after calling ahead, I'd recommend somewhere else. Oregano's obviously isn't properly staffed to equip multiple take out customers at once. read more

Very disappointed. Ordered take out at 7pm, was told the wait would be an hour. Understandable so I wasn't upset about that. I ordered the family take out deal which included two pastas, salad and a pizza cookie. Was told they were out of the chipotle ranch for the Mexican salad but that man in the phone was kind and suggested which salad to switch it out with. Arrived to pick up the food around 8pm, go the food and on the drive home was curious where they put the ice cream that is included with the pizza cookie. I went through the bag and it was no where to be found. Called the store and was told that they "just ran out of ice cream" was not told this during the pick up nor was I offered anything to replace it. Honestly the ice cream makes the pizza cookie so i was pretty upset about that. Then we opened up our food and there were also no garlic/bread sticks that are also suppose to go with the pastas. Not sure what's going on but if you guys are going to run out of stuff over an hour before closing maybe you should be closing earlier. read more

We have never had bad service here. Ever! The staff is so attentive and friendly. The food is amazing. Our most recent waitress, Heidi, humored us with a pic of the back of her shirt with my husbands not so safe practice with sauce lol. Not even remotely close to real Italian. More like a substitute for the Olive Garden. Coming from Chicago, I'm convinced real Italian restaurants don't exist in AZ. They have a lot southwest flare fusion with their Italian menu. Unless you're a native to AZ, it doesn't work. read more

Passed it many times and decided to check it out - Waiting line but had a bar beverage and 20 mins flew by - very busy and we didn't check to see if reservations were available....food was very good and friendly good service in spite of the very busy time we were there! We went to Oregano's in Queen Creek for my belated birthday dinner. This has always been one of my favorite places to eat. This was the worst experience at this location I have ever had! We waited 45 min for a seat and then another hour to get our dinner. When we got our dinner it was awful. Lasagna was completely burnt, I had the Pinetop ravioli it was just full of oil, which made me sick. 2 had the Lady Is A Scampi shrimp and chicken. It was full of oil not flavor. Another had the Big Rig it was also full of oil no flavor, noodles were not cooked all the way. I am very disappointed, I have never dis liked this food ever till Saturday night. read more

I went to this location on Saturday, Oct 3rd with a lady friend. It was late, 7:30 or so, and our server was Alexa. First off, Alexa made a suggestion for the appetizer that was different than what we were going to order and it was dead on. It took a bit to get our stuffed pizza, but Alexa and her coworkers kept checking on us regularly and our drinks were always refilled. But the standout was Alexa. Why did it take me so long to give Oregano's a try. Why! I tried Oregano's recently with my partner on a Tuesday night I believe. They were closing soon but didn't make us feel like it. You know what I mean? We were seated immediately. Mara was our server. She was super good! So good! So attentive, patient (because my boyfriend and I had such a hard time choosing a pizza). She knew the menu like the back of her hand so that helped us out a lot. We started with calamari. It was delicious, unlike any calamari I've ever had. The cuts were thick and the sauce was awesome. As mentioned, we has such a hard time deciding on a pizza both of us wanted. Mara finally said well we can half and half it. YES! That settled it! My partner doesn't eat pork so we ordered one half of the pizza as a regular numero-uno as is (thin crust), the other half without pepperoni and sausage but added Cajun chicken. It was perfect for the both of us. We enjoyed that pizza so much that we went back 3 days later and got another one. This time we ordered the Margarita Pizza but the pan pizza this time. The sauce, the ingredients, they were so fresh and delicious. It wasn't nearly as tasty as the thin crust. It was wayyyyy too much dough for me so next time I'm sticking with the thin crust.
