This El Diablo Shrimp Pasta is the best dish that this place has to offer. It's just spicy enough to wake up your taste buds, the shrimp are huge, and the flavor is simply delicious. My server thought he was a comedian, but I told him not to quit his day job.. Lol. He made the experience fun though, so kudos to him for that. This was my first time at the Queen Creek location, but it all tastes the same whichever one you visit. This is my favorite dish. I had the Pablo Picasso salad, the Guac-a-Tony, and Mac n Cheese. The portions are huge (one salad or guac a tony can feed two people). I found the salad too heavy and rich. The guac and cheesy bread in the guac a tony didn't go well together in my opinion. And the Mac n cheese was very average. The server was very nice and checked up on us a lot- maybe a little too much. Overall, I didn't love the food but I definitely can see this being enjoyable for someone who likes this type of food. read more

I had not eaten at Oregano's in a few years and ate there last night with family. While I usually order their thin crust pizzas, last night I was very hungry and decided to go with their pan pizza. I remembered having one of these many years ago at their restaurant on Dobson and Southern and remembered that it was a real feast and prepared Chicago style with the cheese on the bottom and a lot of tomato laden sauce on the top. I was disappointed to see a deflated pan pizza arrive. It was sparsely adorned with sauce with a few small diced pieces of tomato here and there, but finding these was a bit of a treasure hunt. Dutch was our waiter and he was handling many tables but was very attentive and friendly. I asked him about what happened to their pan pizza and he mentioned that the recipe changed about a year ago and they have received many complaints about it since the change. Overall, the food is good, service is excellent, and the thin crust pizza is one of the best I have had. I strongly recommend that you avoid Oregano's pan pizza as it is now one of the worst I have ever had anywhere. This is sad as it used to be really amazing. If you are looking for good deep dish/pan pizza I recommend Nello's. read more

Our service needed improvement, she put in the wrong order for my husband... but he was ok with the change of entrée. However we got our food and my daughter waited about 10-15 min for hers ... my son ordered a 2nd helping of the spaghetti & meat sauce and it was missing the meat. It's always busy but you get seated fairly quickly. They have a lot of must try dishes, hakuna picata is my fave and big enough to share (it comes with 2 large pieces of chicken)! My son loves regular spaghetti with meat sauce and last night we discovered its all you can eat! My daughter always orders the chicken parm. We love their wings but didn't get them last night. While my family was in town for the weekend, we decided to go to Oregano's for dinner. GREAT choice indeed! I had the Rigatony and my family members split a Pan pizza with pepperoni, sausage, & mushrooms on it. We also had a house salad which we all split since it was huge and an order of the cheesy garlic bread. I took home the remains of the salad, cheesy garlic bread, pizza, &!yes, even my Rigatony! Lunches and dinners for this week! This just goes to show just how much food you get when you order here: you definitely get your money's worth and then some! The Italian Gold Wings are always so delicious! Service was a tad slow; not blaming the server though since it was just him and maybe one other in the whole restaurant. Kennedy was a great waitress, no complaints whatsoever. I had called for Kennedy and her Hostess immediately came over to attend to us. I told the hostess that the Beefstro salad had NO chilis and that I would like for her to correct this. She offered to get me "some chilis", thinking that she would bring me back some sauted chilis, but instead she brought me back a dipping cup of chopped chilis. To add insult to injury, she called across the room to Kennedy to charge me for extra chilis. The service was superb, but the handling of my legitimate complaint was unacceptable. I did not short Kennedy of her well earned tip, however, I did not generously tip because of the handling of my complaint. Nothing wrong with the food, the handling of the lack of chilis in the salad (maybe the cook forgot to put chilis in?) earned this Oreganos a poor rating and a shorted tip. I asked about the membership scan and Kennedy said this store was under new ownership and that they didn't "do" the scans. If this new owner wants to earn the trust of its customers, the owner needs to teach the hostess how to handle legitimate, small complaints. read more

I am obsessed with the Diablo Chicken Pasta! It is one of my favorite pasta dishes of all time. When I was pregnant, I craved that dish all the time. It is normally served with shrimp but I prefer chicken. The sauce is cream based and quite spicy! They finish it with cotija cheese and a side of garlic bread. Delicious! I can eat this every day! Service is always good and it's a nice family friendly restaurant. My boyfriend loves the Lady is a Scampi pasta with shrimp! I decided to try this restaurant in Tempe on Elliot Road for the first time and the girl that waited on me was nice. she took my order but I waited 40 minutes and the appetizer never showed up. I asked the waitress what was taking so long and she said shift change so only one guy was in the back preparing the food for dinner and I would have to wait for him to make my dish. WTF. you've got to be kidding me. This particular location is a big pass for me! The service was so bad. The waiters were fighting with the kitchen because the chef didn't want to believe an order had come back cold and the waiter told him "well then you try it!" There was a fruit fly dead on top of the lemon in my tea it made me feel so sick I wanted to leave so bad but my partner told me to wait and see if it was just a one off, as we love oreganos and never had a problem at other locations. The calamari they gave us came out super soggy and covered in garlic butter, I've never had them come like that but the texture was just wet and mushy. Yuck. The pizza and pasta dishes came out okay, but the whole experience threw us off of this location forever. Try another location, because Oregnos is usually great! Just not this one. read more

Usually, I am a big fan of Oregano's but the last two times we came here, it's been a disappointment. We ordered takeout and when I came to pick up our order, I was told that they were out of the normal chicken for my pasta and they could substitute it for sliced chicken. Yep, no problem - I told them to go for it. Once I got home, I found they gave me 3 small slices of chicken. The dish I ordered is advertised as having "two huge chicken breasts". Lame. My husband's Alfredo of the Dark tasted like nothing... no flavor, no spice, nada. The caesar salad was good though. Big shout out to their croutons! I've been coming to Oreganos for YEARS and my favorites has always been: Big Beefstro Salad - ordered with no jalapeños but EXTRA fried onions. It's honestly hit or miss though with the beef. Sometimes it's a bit grisly so be prepared to send it back if the beef isn't high quality that day. But my latest obsession is now: Stuffed Riga Tony - with the meat sauce. Take it from me and order the garlic bread. SO GOOD and the cheesy bread is good too. Always ordered a Shirley temple. AND. House salad. Their ranch is also so delicious. This latest visit I had just about the best server ever. Not sure how our table got so lucky. His name was BRIAN and he was full of energy and took care of our table so well. I ordered from Oregano's in July 2020 to get their 2 for $28 deal with a two entrees, a desert pizookie and a salad. For our entrees, we ordered the chicken parmesan and the baked ziti. We had our order delivered via DoorDash and it was great because we also got free delivery. The portions are the same as if you were dining at the restaurant and everything was tasty, per usual. I forgot the baked ziti comes in a bread bowl, which is a bit much for me. I probably would opt for a pasta that doesn't come in the bread bowl next time. After we ate our entrees, we heated the pizookie in our toaster oven to capture the true pizookie experience. I have also been here since our delivery experience and they did a good job at distancing customers from one another and still providing the usual service that I get when I come to Oregano's. This location has to be the absolute worst ones we visited. The Alfredo the dark was the only decent thing, but it was luke warm at best. However, the next two dishes were an absolute nightmare. It took them longer to bring out the appetizer than our actual food. We managed to get an extremely oily and unedible boom dip. While I understand it can be a little oily, this was FAR too much and it also had little to no cheese. Lastly, the cookie we ordered was too underdone and we didn't finish this. My Fiance ended up getting food poisoning from this location and is now having to deal with this for the next 24/48hrs. Absolutely not worth the 36 dollars I paid.. read more
