    Raspberry gelato

Just came for the gelato! Very cute cafe with many gelato flavors. I got the raspberry which was perfectly sweet and tart. I recommend bringing cash. They had a ton of Italian cookies for sale too. It was midday mid week and there was only one employee I could see working but she was kind throughout our interaction.

Love the vibe. Great atmosphere and decor. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful pastry selection. The small printed menus are on the counter next to the register - there are no large menus on the wall. The pastry pricing seemed not obvious. I really like being able to decide what I want and know how much it will cost without having to ask for clarification. There is not much space for standing if there is a line. The pastries themselves I was a bit disappointed with flavor-wise. Of the variety I tried, the cannolis are what I would get again, for the great filling texture. I loved my veggie sandwich. My dining partner who got a Buffalo flatbread said it was good. Someone else in my party got the bruschetta sandwich and was disappointed - it was very dry and just not much going on there. The bread is very tasty and fresh but overly toasted to a "probably going to hurt the roof of your mouth and your jaw muscles by the end of the sandwich" level. (I get that baguettes traditionally have that very hard crust, but for a sandwich it would be much easier to eat if it were softer!)

Perfect after dinner or date night spot! Amazing gelato, great pastry selection as well as soups and Italian entrees and pizza. Not a full serve restaurant - you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Outside seating is nice on a balmy night.

Rum Baba and Orange Ricotta Cake

Hidden gem with a cute cafe atmosphere and variety of options: deserts, wines, gelato, appetizers, and sandwiches. My wife and I tried the Rum Baba, Orange Ricotta Cake, cannolis made to order, and the bruschetta pizza (appetizer style). The cannoli was fresh, which is miles ahead of most other places in Rochester, but had a thin consistency to the cream and could have used a little more ricotta. Will be coming back to this place.

This is a very quaint little place. Small but plenty of seating inside and out. The food is pretty typical for a cafe. Small portions for dinner and salads are extra. The desserts are amazing! So much to choose from Italian desserts and cookies are wonderful. The service was good. Not a place to have a big dinner if your really hungry, but good enough for a lunch or a small bite to eat. We like the place more for the variety of desserts and pastries.

The food is good and the worker was nice. They have a large pastry selection and the worker was great at answering any questions we had.

What a great this cafe was! We stopped in for their tri color rainbow Italian cookies. The whole display case was filled with Italian goodies, I would love to come back and try some more! There was a decent amount of space here, great for a small group. And service was very friendly.

It had me wondering if we were going to be stuck in the drive through for a bit. I was surprised by how efficient everything was as the workers were taking orders well ahead of the line which seemed to keep things moving. The menu has so many options I wasn't sure what to pick. I went with the Cherry Blossom Lemonade. Consisting of cherry and peach flavor in a lemonade. I chose a medium which was quite large and cost me less than 5 dollars. The drink was real tasty! I have been craving another. The ordering process was quick and easy. I think the overall time taken was a little under 10 minutes. Not much ambiance to be found as it's a drive up operation. They did have music playing and signage which initially confused me, as I thought you could get two medium drinks for 7 dollars. (Plus stickers!) the employee explained this is a special they have on the 7th of each month and it can get quite busy as who doesn't want discounts and free stickers?

We tried a little bit of everything -- the shrimp and grits were rich and flavorful with just the right amount of kick, and the Pig in a Bowl was next-level comfort food. Seriously, every bite was perfection. And of course, we couldn't resist the fresh mimosas -- bubbly, fruity, and just what brunch calls for. The staff was super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they take pride in the food and the atmosphere. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. If you're in Rochester and love a good brunch (or just great food in general), Silo is a must-visit. Already looking forward to going back!

I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and what came out was a sad little squished glorified hamburger bun interupted with a tiny egg, a bit of cheese, and a thin circle of sausage. This time I had the Tuscan - egg and cheese with roasted red peppers and your choice of meat on focaccia or a bagel - on the Italian bagel, which was an asiago bagel with Italian seasoning on top. It was so flavorful! The Italian seasoning gave it a little bit of a kick. I only wish I had added cream cheese as well, but that's personal preference. My fiancee had an egg bagel toasted with Sriracha honey cream cheese and she said unfortunately the bagel tasted like it had been hanging out with other bagel flavors, but she would still come back. I also had a cappuccino that was delicious and super reasonably priced - everything was $14! It's difficult to only buy what you're coming in for since everything is homemade and well-made at that.
