This is absolutely the breakfast place that needs to be talked about more. My wife told me about this place and we went on a whim. Everyone from the gentlemen that takes your name OUTSIDE, to the host that shows you to your seat, to the wait staff is like no other. Their menu is amazing and the food is something out of an old school diner which you feel like it should be. The Tacos Al Pastor Hash is something from the gods. The flavors and the tenderness from the meat seem like something your own family made. If you're not a savory breakfast person, then the Fresh Raspberry Cream Crapes is for you. It's my dad's personal favorite and what he gets everytime we go, which by the way is very Friday morning. It's like a ritual at this point. I had never heard of this little gem before. Obviously popular in the neighborhood as they have a massive seating area outside with live entertainment for the wait (unless you get there early). Be aware they are CASH ONLY (there's an atm on site for those unaware) Started out splitting their scone of the month, a warm lemon lavender pastry served with sweet cream and tangy lemon curd. I'd like to try one of their cinnamon rolls next time. Our breakfasts were massive portion sizes. I had the chicken tinga omelette which was a huge fluffy omelette stuffed to the brim and covered in crema and cheese. The portion sizes make it worth the price (~$50 for the scone, drinks, and 2 large breakfast plates). Our servers were especially friendly. Food is spot on, service quick and genuine even after all these years. Having been a frequent flyer to Phoenix area during the fall of 2021 and monthly trips in 2022, I found this place to be my go to stop for breakfast. What a delightfully wonderful breakfast experience. The food was absolutely outstanding!! I had the Green Pork Chili Benny and my wife had the El Paso Omelette. The base of the Benny was a masa corn base that was a delicious twist for a Benny with a hint of sweetness that went really well with the green pork chili. The chili was very flavorful and not spicy hot. The Omelette was delicious too and came with a side of sourdough toast with house made strawberry jam that was incredible! The proportions are quite large and it's all very reasonably priced. The service was quick and very friendly. The decor and atmosphere was nothing but fun!! You won't be disappointed. We came on a Saturday morning around 10am and it was busy. With a party of 5, the wait was quoted as 15-20 minutes, which was spot on. Our server was very friendly and offered recommendations. She seemed genuinely happy to be working there. Since no one else in my group uses Yelp, I'll consider myself qualified to summarize everyone else's experience here based on some roughly paraphrased survey responses: -Chef's special egg white scramble (this was mine) - delicious. Light but filling, and slightly healthier (maybe) than the rest of the menu. I subbed the toast for pancakes which are really unique with their lemon recipe. So so good. See pic. -Bacon and potato omelet and side biscuit - "One of the best omelets I've ever had. Wish we lived here and I'd come back every day. Biscuit is so good and fresh. So much food though, need a box. 7 stars." -Breakfast quinoa bowl - "The pesto is really good and I am happy with the bowl. The orange juice is great. A ton of food, can't finish." -Breakfast chimichanga - *thumbs up* -Garden hash & eggs with side pancakes - "Very good, flavorful, lots of veggies (duh), a lot of food (notice the theme here), orange juice is amazing" In summary, the place is worth your time. Cash only, lots of parking available, and prepare to wait for your table on weekends. Wish I could come back and try everything else on the menu. First off, I would like to state that the staff was really nice and we had no issues obtaining a table and the place is pretty big for seating and have ample parking. The only reason why I'm giving this more of a 3.5/5 stars the rating is because the food was just okay to me and my fellow friends agreed too. We had ordered the Brioche Cinnamon Rolls, Chicken Fried Chicken, Hawaiian Fried Rice, and the Popeye Omelette. The cinnamon rolls were fluffy and they tasted good, however, it felt like we had better cinnamon rolls at Cinnabon. The chicken fried chicken wasn't too bad but had areas of being bland that I had to add in condiments like ketchup. The gravy had some interesting tasting sausage as well that I actually did not want the gravy, and believe me I usually smother my fried chicken in gravy. The hawaiian fried rice was..weird?..and also bland. The rice used was wet like the ones you find in like jambalaya or some dish that needs the rice to be wet. This was supposed to be fried rice and umm..I've tried fried rice in Oahu and I'd rather have the one in Oahu because this was not that. The popeye omelette was meant to be healthy so no surprise that it was bland as well. I'm a big foodie person and maybe I'm just used to food in LA, NYC, and even the OC but we definitely gave this place a try and we know that locals love this place so I think this may be a restaurant to at least try and judge yourself because we do need to at least support the local restaurants that isn't a chain or so. read more

On a hunt for some good brunch, look no further. This place has so many choices it's uncanny. The parking lot is adjacent to the restaurant. We checked in with the host, small wait but they were accommodating with seats and shade from the AZ sun. My party and I chose counter seats and were promptly attended to. After an order of hot coffee and fresh squeezed OJ we settled on a couple menu options. One included the steak and eggs. Our food was brought out within 10minutes. All I can say is my eyes were bigger than my belly. My breakfast sampler had a huge pancake, hash browns and sausage. The portions here are no joke. There is option to share if need be. I don't like chicken fried steak and that's not what this is. It's chicken and so good! Hubs got the biscuits and gravy with eggs and potatoes. We also got a fresh OJ. It was definitely fresh as it was super tart and full of pulp. I enjoyed it but hubs didn't care for the pulp. Food came out pretty quick and there's a lot of it. The chicken fried chicken was a breaded fried chicken breast served with gravy, eggs and the most delicious deep fried French toast! It doesn't sound appealing as I'm not one for deep fried things but it tasted like a funnel cake. Literally SO GOOD!! The biscuits could have been a bit more fluffy as they were a bit overcooked and hard but hubs enjoyed. The potatoes, GET THE POTATOES!!! They're seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly too. I was looking for a nice breakfast place to try and this please have hopped up on my feed before, and since I was in the area, I decided to give them a try. I do have to warn it is only cash. I did not know this and I'm thankful they had an ATM. I will send it right away, but it was also like 8 AM. I ended up getting there two pancakes two bacon two eggs I want to say this was about 10 to 12 bucks. I also got their homemade orange juice which was about five bucks. I will say the orange juice was delicious. Bacon and eggs were good. I mean you can't really go wrong with it but then as I think about it, some people still do but they did theirs good. Now the pancake was very interesting. They add lemon somewhere either in the batter or somewhere in the pancake and so when you eat it you get this citrusy bite. I didn't hate it. It was actually pretty decent. I did not feel like I had enough maple syrup but I'm sure I could've asked for more my server. Visiting town from Los Angeles and this has to be my favorite breakfast place that I have been to so far. The portion sizes are extremely generous and the taste is delicious. The prices are very fair but it is cash only. The only downside is there usually is a wait because anything this good has to be popular. Our server was very polite and the food came out quickly. I ordered coffee and orange juice to start like I always do and was happy to see they brought out a full pitcher of coffee for me and left it on the table. I knew then I was about to have a great meal. There are many great menu options but I chose one of the specials today. I chose ranch instead of sweet honey lime vinaigrette. Companion chose small pancake portions and our server encouraged him to order one each of the lemon curd and key lime pancakes, plus add on of two sunny side up eggs and two thick slices of perfectly cooked bacon.
