Ordered online for the first time today! The process to register was a little confusing but it went smoothly after I got registered. Very simple order process and easy payment processing. I ordered the Korean steak bowl and a muscle malt shake (my favorite combo) and they are phenomenal as usual! Love the spice and flavor in the steak bowl and the shake is smooth and not chalky. I will say the guy servicing the call in/online orders register at the shop was rather unfriendly and unwelcoming to myself and the other patrons in line in front of me, it was a little off putting to feel as if I was inconveniencing him by picking up my food. Only one complaint: the salads are NOT "chopped." A chop salad is one where a special tool (like the one in the photo) is used to chop the ingredients into small pieces; these salads were the usual "stuff giant pieces of greenery into your mouth." That being said, it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, unique, healthy. If you're trying to eat right but still want your food to taste good, this is the place for you. read more

We ordered take out and I didn't know I ordered chicken jerky in my bowl. Too bad chicken jerky is much better then what I received this was just inedible. Veggies were undercooked with zero seasoning the sauce on my meal was lacking balanced flavor and sugar was an attempt at saving this sad sad sauce. Surprisingly disgusting food. Even though it's a late night order it doesn't mean you get to send take out orders that aren't edible. Thanks for giving me a stomach ache. Only thing that was good in this bowl was the rice. Only thing that would redeem the experience is receiving our money back. Do yourself a favor and don't eat at this location they obviously could care less. Loved this place until their recent menu change. They keep removing or altering the menu. Loved the Chicken Kale, but not liking the bread change. Ciabatta was much better than the greasy panini style. Disappointed about the recent Hummus Sandwich change and and elimination of the Watermelon Ice Tea. Not a fan of the wrap and recipe change. This place is clearly the hangout for ladies wearing yoga clothing/sweatpants that have relationship problems to go on Saturday night. Maybe this is just an observation from ease dropping on conversations at booths around us but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that happens a lot. Probably something along the lines of "lets go somewhere to eat where I won't hate myself afterwards" may have been uttered while deciding on OG ChopShop for dinner. Wise words because ChopShop has healthy and filling food that leave full but not feeling gross about it once you have finished. You can order salads, sandwiches, protein bowls, coffee, smoothies, pressed juice, and desserts! Yup, I said desserts. They offer assorted baked goods and pastries too! Chopshop cooks your food fresh, supports local farmers and their meats have no preservatives, antibiotics, or hormones. All qualities I can get behind. BUT it is a shame this location seems to not care about cleanliness too. Wow, Gary! Did we go on the same day/night? Many tables were so dirty that we had to move a few times before we found a clean spot. While there, we did not see any employees wipe down tables. Rather concerning how unconcerned they seem by the grossness of their tables. Also, when ordering I asked for tea but I received the lemonade. It was delicious so I ran with it. This was certainly a happy mistake! I want to LOVE Original ChopShop but I just couldn't. Hopefully this location gets its act together and maybe that could change someday in the future. read more

Looking for something light and healthy, the crave was found here at the Original ChopShop Co., in the downtown part of Chandler. Menus were readily available at the front of the door on the table with various non-food merchandise to look at while waiting in line. Food items were available too. Tables and chairs were available inside and outside the establishment. 2 cash registers ready to take your order. Choices from the Chops, grilled protein bowls, Breakfast, Superfruit Bowls, Parfaits, Between Bread, Protein Shakes, Pressed Juices and pastries. The breakfast menu is available on extended hours on Saturday and Sunday 7am until 2pm instead of 12pm. I made it! :) The Zen Bowl included egg whites, spinach, sautéed onions, mushrooms and melted white cheddar over brown rice. Something very simple to make and delicious to eat. $6 Thai protein bowl included grilled chicken, broccoli, (found a brussel sprout), carrots, cauliflower, cilantro sprinkled peanuts, coconut curry sauce with a choice of brown rice, sweet potato hash, quinoa or forbidden rice. Forbidden rice was chosen for a bit of crunch bite to it. $9 + $1 for the forbidden rice Muscle Malt - 24 oz protein shake filled with banana, chocolate whey protein powder, natural peanut butter, malt, sugar-free choco syrup and substituted with almond milk $5.75 + $0.50 for almond milk. I was in search for something light and healthy for lunch while I was in the area last weekend and this one came up on my Yelp search. I saw several of my trusted Yelpers reviews and pictures, I knew this place was going to be good and it sure was. I started my lunch with Pitaya smoothie. It was a very hot May afternoon, dragon fruit sounded really good. They were busy with lunch crowds, I found a table outside in the shade but it was still warm, so this smoothie was just perfect. Asian salad with chicken was refreshing too. Liked the dressing, perfect food to have when you don't have much appetite as they go down easily, I finished my salad and I was full. I got to taste my friend's acai bowl. Good balanced food to eat. While it was good, I thought it was a bit sweet and it took a long time for them to make it. Around the time I was about to finish my salad, acai bowl came. I think I would have enjoyed more if indoor seating was available on the day I visited. It was just too warm on that day. read more

I've been wanting to try The Original Chopshop for a while now & finally got around to going for dinner! I had heard from many friends that the protein bowls are delicious so I went with the Teriyaki Chicken Protein Bowl and my date got the Thai Chicken Protein Bowl. The Teriyaki bowl had a nice sautéed blend of chicken in teriyaki sauce and roasted vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, onions, carrots, mushrooms, & brussles sprouts) which was topped with avocado & toasted sesame seeds. Between brown rice, forbidden rice, and sweet potato hash, I had selected the sweet potato hash; it complimented the rest of the flavors well. I didn't particularly care for the Thai Chicken bowl but my date really enjoyed it. This bowl had chicken in a thai curry sauce with veggies (as previously mentioned minus the mushrooms & brussles sprouts). My date got it with the sweet potato hash as well. Looks were very deceiving because the bowl filled us up quickly & we weren't hungry for hours after eating it. I'd say that the price is justifiable for what you get. Additionally, the location is perfect - right in Downtown Chandler & there was plenty of seating available for small & large groups. We'll be back! read more

Chopshop is just a classic. No matter which location you go to visit I've always found something I've enjoyed. My favorite has been the steak sandwich in a wheat wrap and whatever their seasonal lemonade is. I have also been found enjoying their acai bowls - equally delicious. The location is in Downtown Chandler so there is plenty to do and see and some little local shops to visit in the area. This place has plenty of indoor seating and two outdoor patios to sit on. The food is all rather healthy in the options. I think this makes the prices a little higher than generally expected but I do not find it to be unreasonable for what you are getting. It is an order each part separately place - so don't expect a sandwich and chips; each of those are separate. Overall, a good place to stop by to grab lunch with friends, by yourself, or with your coworkers. The options are healthy and the prices are good. This comes with all the veggies and peanuts and coconut. I think that it was good but it was very dry. Like the bowl needed some sauce to go with it. ChopShop is a cute little restaurant to have brunch. I like that each location has a nice outdoor patio seating area with large games to play on the lawn- chandler being connect four. They have a wide variety of fresh juices and healthy food options. My favorite on the menu is their balance bowl. I always order mine with steak; however, this dish is only available during breakfast hours. Their protein bowls are also pretty tasty - tri tip and teriyaki are my personal favorites. The bowls consist of brown rice, roasted veggies, and your choice of protein. If I'm feeling for something light and sweet, the pitaya bowl never lets me down! I couldn't give it the extra star because I don't see it catering to all meals; as I wouldn't come here for dinner. And I wouldn't recommend the sandwiches as I find the bread to be pretty dry. read more

I'm so in love with this place. The decor alone is so beautiful and relaxing. This place knows what people want. The food is just as good. The manager they have working here is adorable and he is friendly and goes the extra mile. I love Chopshop. Though some of my friend complain a bit at the 'hipsterness'(is that a word? It is now) of it all I find all the food amazing. The avocado toast is more affordable than most places and taste expectational. I've tried several protein bowls as well that always taste fresh and filling. My favorite part are the smoothie bowls. I could eat them everyday. The acia and pitaya bowl are wonderful. They consist of a fresh fruit 'smoothie' topped granola and other fresh fruits depending on what you choose. I came here to finally try that chia pudding I always see on Instagram. I have to say I was not disappointed. I know everyone says you can make it at home but it's not the same! I also had the avocado toast. I asked for the egg to be over hard but I was given an over medium egg. There was yolk everywhere. I hate runny yolk so I asked if I could just have a hard boiled egg instead but they said they can't make hard boiled eggs and offered to just make me egg whites since they couldn't figure out the yolk situation. They were very nice about it though so it was ok. The weather was beautiful on this day so we ate outside on their patio and enjoyed the weather. read more

Unfortunately, it smelled and looked better than it tasted - fell flat. The veggies were under-roasted (still crunchy), chicken was dry, and overall the dish itself ran dry. We were greeted immediately with a smile and eagerness to assist. We disclosed that this was our first visit, so we would need a quick moment to look at the menu board. They suggested most items could be converted into a wrap, and were ready to answer any questions. We chose "between bread" sandwiches: chicken + prosciutto and the grilled steak. We were also considering ordering the seasonal lemonade, but the host offered a sample first because the ginger is piquant. We loved it, and ordered the largest size because it was the soothing elixir we both needed after a week of teaching. Our sandwiches were visually appealing and delicious! The combinations of accoutrements with the protein and house bun was hitting everything on our palettes! The pickle was crunchy, fresh, and perfectly sour and salty. While we were dining, we scanned the QR code placed at our table for their app: we knew we would frequently be back. Besides, it was National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, so we placed an order through the app - again, delish! As we were completing our meal, we received a personal follow up on our experience - so kind! The host also assisted us by showing how we could add our post purchase to our app account.
