Not good! My roommate and I were drawn in by the interesting topping combinations and drove to pick it up because we live outside the delivery radius. We got the pineapple, bacon, & hot honey and the chicken, pear, and fontina. Those flavor combos are so good in theory, but executed terribly. The main problem was that they were the most dry pieces of pizza I've ever put in my mouth. There wasn't sauce, oil, or any other moisture on either - I mean, they were so dry that they didn't even qualify as a decent flatbread, but definitely not pizza. Also, the actual flavor profiles on both were pretty blah. I'm not sure if they both just needed more of the key toppings, but the marriage of sweet & salty (+ spicy for the hot honey) that I chose those pizzas for just wasn't there. read more

The young lady at the register was not very friendly... when I asked for a menu she pointed to a QR code and said there's the menu. I asked if they had gluten free crust at this location... she said yes. I then ordered a gluten free pizza. She told me it would be about 15 minutes. I waited about 25 minutes and asked her if it would be much longer ... she said it would be 10 more minutes. I stood there waiting and watching a man shovel pizzas in and out of the ovens using the pizza cutter to cut all of the pizza that were coming out including my gluten free pizza. The girl hands me the pizza box and I said the man just used the same pizza cutter that he used on the regular pizzas to cut my gluten free pizza. She said yeah but it's still gluten free. I told her that the pizza has now been contaminated. She quickly got irritated with me and said well you didn't say it was an allergy. I told her that if someone orders something gluten free you should assume it's an allergy and if not she should have asked me if it was an allergy. If I didn't see him using that pizza cutter I would have eaten that pizza and would have gotten very ill. On top of the cross contamination I saw him sprinkle basil on my pizza with his bare hands after touching the oven door handles pressing buttons and touching other pizzas. I'm a chef and I know that when you touch ready to eat foods you should be handling those foods with food service gloves on. Your employees need customer service trading because they are rude! They also need to be serve safe certified and need allergen training. Because if they think it's okay to cut into a gluten free pizza with the same cutter as the regular pizzas that is NOT okay! I'm so disappointed in this establishment, especially because there were two older gentlemen that were working there that did not even try to buffer the situation. Had high hopes for this pizza. I did take out of 4 types of pizza last Friday, the Bacon, Mash & Scallions, Pork and Mango, Cheese and Bacon and Cheese pizza. As for the pizza itself, I've never had a pizza crust with so much corn meal inside the dough, not just the bottom. Absolutely the worst pizza crust I've ever had! Mash Potato, Bacon, Scallions - I heard and read this was the pizza to get. The bacon was great but I could hardly taste the mash potatoes and scallions. Very bland overall. Pulled Pork and Mango - The pork itself was very spicy and good but there was no mango to be found to balance the spicy pork. After tasting the pork I was hoping they would make a pulled pork sandwich out of it. Other than the pork, very bland. Cheese and Cheese and Bacon Pizza - This was the last pizza I tasted and I couldn't believe they couldn't even get a regular cheese pizza right. There was so little cheese and sauce on this all I could taste was the horrible crust. This place is only a couple weeks old, I can't imagine they'll be around long if they don't improve the quality of their pizza. I was really excited to see a new pizza place open in the North Shore a local chain. My friends and I decided to try it a few times. We are all vegans and assumed we would be safe ordering a cheeseless pizza with vegetables as we have been at countless other places we've been to. Typically, vegetables arent slathered in butter before putting them onto pizzas without at least putting this information onto the menu, but, after eating there a couple times we found out from a staff member in passing who said how great it was the mushrooms were cooked in butter before putting them onto pizzas. Safe to say we wont be back and I would suggest they add that info to their menu because there are vegans and also people who have kids who are allergic to dairy who order the same types of cheeseless pizzas with vegetables for their kids who need that information. Otto has some delicious and creative choices for pizza, certainly not your average house of pizza. Not all of the pizza's have red sauce so check the menu first! They are on the expensive side but the slice was pretty big. The service was not as good as the pizza . The girl at the counter did not smile or say thank you , while she looked like she did not want to be there and showed it. To go along with that they have a paint can sized tip jar. Oh, OTTO, what happened?! We've had several pizzas here since they've opened at Market Street and they've all been delicious. However, we ordered two pizzas tonight, and they were AWFUL! We were so surprised, and so disappointed. We tried the fall special, which sounded awesome as OTTO is known for their more unique specialty toppings. This one was collard greens, cornbread and pulled pork. This was possibly the worst thing I've eaten in years. I'm convinced that the pulled pork was canned tuna. In fact, there had to be something seriously wrong with that pork. It smelled like tuna, and tasted like tuna. No one could eat it. The other pizza was a usual choice for us, the salami and ricotta. This time it was dry, lacking flavor, and with significantly less toppings. We could at least actually eat this one, but it was a big disappointment. Best part of their pie is the crust--decent flavor and texture. Overall the pizza is bland and too oily for my taste. I was also disappointed in the service here. Love there pizza but it is so inconsistent, they are constantly messing up orders and the staff in Lynnfield is exceptionally RUDE. You pay $17 for a large pizza, it's pricey so you would think they could be friendlier and make the pizzas consistently the same. The employee with piercings all over her face is extremely RUDE. OTTO is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat while shopping at MarketStreet. They always have a nice selection of pizza by the slice ready to be warmed in the oven and served. I enjoyed the Mac & Cheese and bacon pizza, which actually had elbow noodles covering the pizza. It did taste like macaroni and cheese...on a pizza! They also had butternut squash and kale pizza, a pulled pork pizza and a four cheese pizza. All looked and sounded delicious. The pizza crust was thin and very crispy, perfection in my eyes. They serve craft type soda, and I enjoyed the cola- much better tasting than your brand name sodas. The interior has a few large tables where you can sit with others, and it's a very casual atmosphere. I did notice many people were ordering full size pizzas. I would definitely consider ordering pizza from here for a home take-out night. I will be back, likely during another shopping trip! read more

As far as pizza goes in New England, this spot is above average. They have some creative slices on a day-to-day basis that are good. They will make whole pizza's but they don't really do them very well, the crust tends to be too mushy and they are very minimalist in terms of options. I get the whole lets have fresh ingredients so keep the list short, but I think they could go a little wider in terms of options and do better. However, nice people, the soda here is really good - indeed a good spot for a quick bite. Definitely not a eat out spot. read more
