Otto signature tea latte and banana cream matcha

Located in a large plaza, there's plenty of parking. We come on a Sunday afternoon and service was fine. When you walk in yours greeted by a really nice tea aroma. We got a banana cream matcha and an otto signature tea latte which were both exquisite. I really appreciated that the matcha was hand whisked to order and that the banana cream was made with actual banana bc you could definitely taste the higher quality. The otto signature latte is a Ceylon black tea that has really good tea flavor. We weren't offered adjustments when we ordered so both drinks came with their standard 75% sweetness and 70% ice which ended up being too sweet imo. If you like sweeter drinks, that's def a good sugar level, but next time, I'd get 50% with less ice. I wish I lived closer bc I'm keen on trying their other drinks. But next time I'm in the are, I'll def come back!

Came here with my hubby to get our caffeine fix lol. There's plenty of parking in the complex. The aesthetic inside is really nice, clean, sunny, and with a few spots to sit and enjoy your drink or get some work done. They have a good variety of drinks, plus a few seasonal options as well. I got the Earl Grey matcha latte, and my husband went with the banana cream matcha latte. Both drinks came out pretty quickly! And they were SO good. I love Earl Grey in my matcha, and Otto Tea Shoppe nailed the flavor. The matcha was earthy and a great green color. My husband really enjoyed his banana matcha (and so did I... wife tax hehe). The banana flavor was super enjoyable and clearly not artificial. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!

The Earl Grey Matcha was SO GOOD. I was pleasantly shocked by how strong the earl grey flavor came out. The matcha itself had a rich green color and deeply earthy taste. A combo truly well done. Service was also pretty fast. The shop itself is cute and simple with limited seating. Luckily, there's plenty of parking available, so it's a great spot for a quick grab-and-go! Safe to say, I'll be back soon to try more of their menu :)

My go to spot in redondo beach! Their matcha is incredible and so high quality, lots of flavors to choose from and you seriously can't go wrong with any of them. My personal favorite is the earl grey. Other than matcha their fruit teas are also so refreshing and tasty, i definitely want to try their boba drinks next. The staff is so sweet and service is fast. The shop itself is cute but I will say there is limited seating but tables are available outside. Overall this shop is a 10/10!!

Pretty drinks and ambience, pretty taste, for a pretty penny. - The seasonal white peach oolong was lovely, and I appreciated the staff rec of popping barley boba; 50% sweet was perfect. This reminded me of a similarly tasty mochi barley drink at 3cattea, both of which are extra fun to drink/eat. - The avocado mango drink was delicious without being overly avocado-y, which I appreciated. Beware: it felt high in dairy. - not sure how the gifted blueberry matcha latte turned out, but it was beautiful Parking was busy on a Sat mid morning, so you may have to drive down a second aisle. Service was helpful and prompt, though not exceptionally warm. I would like to come back to try other drinks when I am feeling fancy. On the pricier side (7-8 each) but I think the drinks come in a large size (at least 16-24? ounces). Overall a high-quality experience. Would five 4.5 stars if I could.

I drove down to Otto tea shoppe today because I had really been wanting to try their blueberry spirulina matcha latte specifically. the cafe is in a plaza with plenty of parking. when you walk in, you're greeted with a cozy atmosphere and a few spots to sit. I ordered what I came here for obviously lol, and wait time was very short, no more than 3 minutes! staff was friendly and attentive. the drink itself was pretty good, but I wish it had a bit more of the blueberry compote! I also was hoping to get that cute Otto sticker on the cup but unfortunately didn't get one )-: lastly, I would say the music when I came in was superrr loud and kind of depressing. maybe they don't want people spending that much time in there? not sure. eventually it was turned down and more upbeat music was put on but at first it was very hard to relax due to the initial songs and high volume level.

Great place to stop for drinks! This drink shop is in a plaza with easy parking. Admittedly, I've only had their matcha, but that says a lot as a picky matcha drinker. I never usually try matcha at boba shops, but based on other reviews, I decided to give the earl grey oat matcha a shot on my first visit. I'm so glad I did! There aren't many good matcha options in this area, but I even returned recently to try their Super matcha (matcha latte with matcha foam) which was also delicious. Boba shops matchas tend to be pre-sweetened or of an okay quality, which is fine, but this shop's matcha is earthy, smooth, and is balanced with whatever flavor you add into it! The staff is kind and there is seating (although not a lot) both inside and outside. I'll definitely need to try a boba next time!

Cute, clean, and surprisingly cozy for such a small spot. I didn't expect indoor seating, but there's just enough space to grab a seat, catch up with friends, or park yourself with a laptop for a bit. What originally pulled me in were their drink photos, whoever is behind those deserves credit because they look fantastic. The menu has a nice variety: smoothies, matcha, fruit teas, and more. I was tempted by the matcha but ended up going with the lychee jasmine tea. I ordered regular sugar and, for the first time in a while, I actually thought a drink might be too sweet, maybe my sweet tooth is mellowing with age. Still, it was refreshing and delicious, and I loved getting bits of lychee with every sip. The best surprise? Near the end I realized they use whole lychee fruit, not just the usual small pieces. That little discovery genuinely made my day. Service was quick and friendly. I'd happily come back, especially to give that matcha a try.

The last place I expected to have quality boba and tea was Redondo Beach. I would describe this place as the baby of nook, CHA REDEFINE, and HeyTea. They have an incredible selection, good prices, and the vibes are so nice in there! I saw several guests studying/working. Apparently their standard sweetness is 75%, so if you typically like to order less sweet, get 50% or less. I absolutely adored this cafe and will be back for more.

So many options it was hard to pick which drink to get! We tried the Earl Grey Matcha and Banana Cream Matcha. Both had very good matcha flavor. Since it was our first time we tried the recommended 75% sweetness but next time would definitely get 50% or lower. Couldn't taste the early grey - mostly tasted matcha and sugary milk. The banana cream was perfect - wish there was more of it throughout the drink and not just the top!

Walked by Otto and noticed their soft opening sign, so I decided to stop by. Grabbed a tea smoothie the very first time and was extremely impressed. Not a fan of super sugary drinks, so the tea smoothie was a refreshing middle ground. You can really taste the jasmine tea. The smoothie was so good that I've been back a few times since. I really like smoothies, so I had to go back and try almost all others they offer. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and fresh fruits. This is one of the tea places that I would actually drive out to if I craved it! Their drinks are so good and well-balanced, especially their mango matcha latte. Amazing Quality and REAL FRUIT!!! So happy to have such an amazing tea/drink spot in this area. We got the peach oolong tea, Mango Snow, avocado mango smoothie. The pearls in the avocado smoothie are sooo good! The Mango snow with the sweet cream is such a great combination. I would recommend 70% sweetness or maybe even 50 if you don't like sweets too much. Dare I say the best matcha i've ever had in my life!? I am an avid matcha drinker and I have matcha almost every couple days and I always fall short to the starbucks and coffee bean matcha as it is convenient however, this matcha completely changed everything about that. I was pleasantly surprised by the super matcha! It had a pretty strong matcha flavor which I loved. I'm usually pretty skeptical of matcha lattes in redondo area but I ended up loving this matcha. New boba place in the WholeFoods plaza. The store was really clean and had a large menu on the tv screens once you enter the store. I came during the soft opening which is still going on til the 16th of this month with 25% off! Drinks are very fresh and you can taste the difference in the quality ingredients they used. They have so many options to choose from-- matcha, teas, fruity drinks, and non tea drinks like the mango snow and a bunch of other smoothies. So many options!! Service was great, they gave me recommendations on what the top drinks were because I'm such an indecisive being (haha! ). i stopped by OTTO while going to work to check it out and certainly exceeded my expectations. i've seen a couple of boba shops open up around the area and their teas you can tell are not brewed to perfection / cheap brands. they have quality teas and smoothies, the matcha specifically is very delicious! will definitely be coming back for my daily boba cravings and maybe try a couple new drinks. the staff has very good taste in recommendations and can tell they have experience in their craft. read more

My recent visit to Otto left me in awe! I was on a family trip to LA area for the long weekend and found this hidden gem on my way to Torrance Beach when driving on highway 1. I'm a huge matcha fan, so of course their Matcha-rich menu caught my attention when browsing for boba in the area. I tried their Super Matcha and was blown away by the lux experience it offered. The combination of rich matcha and creamy goodness creates a refreshing balance of sweetness and bitterness that kept me savoring every moment. The vibrant green color and its smell just proved the high quality ingredients they used. I don't usually write long review (especially good ones like this), but I felt like I would owe it to my fellow matcha enthusiasts if I don't call out this best matcha latte I've had. Trust me, I've tried the signature matcha drink of every tea shop I've been to, and this is far superior than anything I've had. read more

5 stars! Huge boba addict and I know a good boba spot when I see one. Tried 3 different drinks so far and every single one of them was excellent. Boba consistency was great, high quality tea, and perfect ratio of milk to tea (I usually choose milk teas). So happy this place is also close to home and in a great location overall! So so so good. Most unique menu I have seen with amazing tasting drinks to match it. The drink descriptions match the taste of the drinks perfectly. I'm excited to try the rest of the menu! Matcha is amazing, Vietnamese iced coffee tastes like it should, and the midnight oreo drink is so delicious. Only critique, is their 70% sweetness tastes more like 100% to me so just be aware of that. read more

We left without raising any objections. As we were exiting, we passed another customer--a white woman--who was entering the shop. I overheard her ask, "Are you closed? Can you take one more order?" Although I did not hear the staff's reply, I saw her exclaim "Yay!" with joy, jumping in excitement. She then waited inside and received her coffee. As an Asian customer, this experience left me with a strong impression of unequal treatment based on appearance. While another customer who arrived moments later was accommodated, we were abruptly turned away. I understand that closing procedures exist; however, their inconsistent application raises serious concerns regarding fairness and customer service.

I noticed other people mentioning the coffee scene in LA isn't the same anymore and this attested to that. It has a cool vibe, lots of fun things on the menu, healthy smoothies, and baked pastries. Interior design and layout were brilliant with abundant natural light. We came on an early weekend morning to grab breakfast; it was my first time at this cafe. I was warmly greeted by a male staff with a smile. I ordered an iced coffee and avocado toast. Both items were solid. Breakfast AT was delightful and healthy. Services were spot on. Prices were fair for the area. Plenty of street metered parking. Overall, this cafe is a good spot for breakfast. I recommend it.

I'd pass on their drinks.
