Customer service was terrible and food was sub par compared to other outbacks. Manager was unhelpful.

We attended a graduation dinner here and will not be going back any time soon. The waitress was seemingly alone, overwhelmed and doing the best she could, but so busy that she very rarely visited our table. My salmon was bland and just okay, and my partner's shrimp was way over-seasoned. The blooming onion was super greasy and cold when it arrived. Some kind of large beetle crawled by our table on the floor, and the waitress poured ice water all over my right foot and didn't seem to notice that she did it. So far this is well done No pink means in outlaw steak house. Not once but twice in 2 days i have received undercooked steak when I ordered from door-dash. I did report door-dash about the food but it doesn't seem to be working so i m writing this review. When i first time had your steak i got hooked up so i have been ordering a lot lately from door-dash but my last two ordered were poorly made and way undercooked. Please pay attention to your customers specification for there food, wether is rare, medium or well done. It was cold and windy today, and I expected to see servers in sweatshirts that they wore in the winter. I was told Corporate torpedoed this. I suggest that corporate decentralize the decision authority to the local proprietor. My first time at Outback in ages and Im positive I will be back again soon. I was here for an event so was able to try a sampling of drinks, appetizers, and of course the steak! The service was great and manager Tim Burrows made sure we were well taken care of. For starters, the Bloomin Onion is a classic and the sauce takes it up even further. We had the center cut sirloin steak which was nicely seasoned. I don't typically like sirloins but I was pleasantly surprised by Outback's. I also recommend the Watermelon Rita if you're into margaritas. Definitely a nice twist. Lastly, the strawberry mouse was a summertime winner. The mouse is lighter and has a chocolate cookie crust with chocolate shavings on top. Lastly, the location has a parking lot and also free street parking, which is not typical of restaurants in Arlington. read more

So, If I could give a no star rating trust me I would everyday and twice on Sunday for the ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS so called dinner I've ever had at this Outback!!! First off, The entrance has a light/chandelier with brown duck tape on it to cover the broken glass. Ceiling tiles have obvious holes, broken pieces in them. Then as I arrived at the hostess stand, who is sitting at the waiting area with her friends talking as if I'm bothering her visitations. Get a table...ok overlook the first impression BUT I get water that clearly has some foreign objects floating in it. Of course now I'm on the watch for everything. Get a second glass of water and low and behold there are still inanimate objects floating in my water. At this point, I just ask the server for bottled water. His excuse..."I just serve the water"!! Sooo, You're telling me that you did not see all these things floating in my glass TWICE??? Anger is swelling. So, Fast forward to my dinner order to which I was quite hungry now and I asked for a Medium Rare Ribeye Steak. Well, I must say being in the business of commercial cooking I would have been embarassed to send what I received as Medium Rare!!! I think whoever cooked the steak did not even wipe the ass of the steer when they WALKED it by the fire!!!! Like the steak was clearly RAW and the server did not show any kind of understanding nor have a manager, lead cook, kitchen supervisor, General Manager come and talk with me. We go here quite often. I normally got the classic prime rib, and the wife got the ribeyes. It is pretty much decent all these years, around 3 stars quality. Last night took thebqife and kids oyt for mother day. I got the primerib again, but do the sear outback style this time. Oh my, it was so salty. The french fry was salty as well. I normally, dip my steak with rock, flake salt on the side. But lord, they went overboard with the salt on sear primerib and fry. We can always add salt later, but we can remove the salt after the cooking chef. Hope for a better experience next time. read more

BLUF: Per usual at Outback, some hits, some misses. I hadn't been to an Outback in quite some time. The service was good, and the servers friendly. Food rundown: - Bloomin' Onion: this is the signature app, so you'd think it would be perfect. Not this time. Looked like it was left in the fryer about 30 seconds too long, so the batter was dark brown and hard, not golden brown and flaky as expected. - Shrimp on the barbie: the shrimp was cooked just right, so it had a nice "snap" when bitten into, but the seasoning was very aggressive and overpowers the delicate flavor of the shrimp. - Steak quesadilla: very good, easy to eat. Could use a little more steak, though. - Waltermelon Margarita: this rocked. I like tequila, so that may have biased my view, but it was very good. - Hometown Hero cocktail: tasted like fruit punch or one of those old Bartles and James wine coolers. Very sweet, with no real singular flavor. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. - Steak and mashed potatoes: the taters were as usual from Outback, i.e. good but not spectacular. The steak was a little overdone and dry. The seasoning on the steak was very good. - Strawberry mousse dessert: the highlight of the meal. Very tasty and not overly sweet. Everything about this place is great. The staff are nice and give you bread and unlimited refills. The food is fresh and well prepared, though not overly fancy. One funny thing is that I have been here 3 times and twice my order has just been very slightly wrong (coke instead of Arnold Palmer, vegetable medley instead of asparagus), in ways I didn't actually mind (as long as any upcharge was removed). The waitress seemed nice and friendly, though she only appeared about once every 10-15 minutes. We were really excited about the bread but they don't do "refills" for it?? We have been to other outback locations and they give you more bread when running out. Fairly mediocre experience, I'd say. The steaks that we had were ok, not really standout, probably not unreasonably priced but fairly unexciting. The sides...well, let's just say that I'm pretty sure each side comes out of a frozen package, and from the creamed spinach to the veggies to the rice, everything just was pretty dull. Service was a bit on the slow side. DMV has some nice steakhouses but most of them are super pricey; you can certainly do worse in this price range but keeping expectations in check really helps. read more

Inexcusably poor service. I can't speak to the food, because I didn't actually eat. My family was seated (with 2 young children) and sat there for 15 minutes. No water. No bread. Nothing. People came to sit at the table across from us. Their orders were taken before they even got their coats off. We sat there. I got up and told the host that we'd not yet seen a server, had no water, and would love to place our orders. I return to my seat. Another couple shows up and is seated next to us. Their order is taken shortly thereafter. Not even kidding. We get up to leave, and the waiter ;same guy who has now taken the orders of two other parties that got there after us) asks if we are ready to order. We tell him no thanks, we are leaving. I believe his response was, "good luck". What?!?! Nope, not gonna try that again. Maybe we dodged a bullet. read more

This is the worst location whether you order online or in-person. Today, I went to order in person and they still got the order wept. Then I call back because without the other item my bill should be cheaply. Oh, it's my fault I chose a side that's premium. It's my fault that I did not read the menu correctly when I didn't read the menu. I told him what I wanted and then he said I had the choice of two sides. He got two entrees wrong, so that's a $10 difference, add 2 premium sides $3 each (old photo was $2) and I pay $15 over without what I wanted. Read your receipt. Two Managers take no responsibility for their employee getting it wrong. Horrible service all around. Then the chicken tenders for $20 are supposed to be 5 pcs but really 4 at best. So overpriced. Won't be back. I can spend $60 at a much nice place for tenders and a 8 oz steak. Take your reading glasses because the up-charges are so clear (NOT)!!! read more
