3 course meal 6oz sirloin with sweet potato
    Veronica C.

I never had a bad day here! Every time I decide to dine in the front house seats me right away and the server attends immediately. My order never came out wrong and the steak was always cooked to my request. The sides were delicious! I enjoyed my sweet potato! Comes with brown sugar, cinnamon and butter. Please note, you can request it on the side. As for the menu, don't forget to check out their specials! Great for couples and families! If you're seeking for a nice casual dinner, this location is super friendly. The lighting is dim but each table has a spotlight to brighten your experience. The reason for a one star down, would be nice if the front house could be upbeat and welcoming. Have a smile.

I was surprised to see such a wild smattering of reviews when I clicked on this location to write mine. My partner and I had a wonderful experience here. All the way from the service, to the ambiance, to the quality of our food and drinks! We said it was one of the best Outback locations we have been to when we got into the car. You can see how delicious my steak looks in the photo! That said, clearly people's experiences vary - maybe depending on the staff? Who knows. But, my partner and I will be returning!

I'm not sure why this has 3 stars, I pickup food from here a lot and always get the same thing. Very grateful they don't use seed oils and instead use beef tallow on the fries, which not a lot of restaurants do The 18oz Ribeye for $35 is an absolute steal and price to value wise, I've yet to see any place do better than that!

Good prices, good food, you know what you are gonna get when you choose to eat at Outback! 1. Pumpernickel bread with butter. Yes. Free. Can't beat it. 2. Blooming onion. Ok...I remember it tasting better, but still good and 10.99. Doesn't break the bank, is the fried app you need. 3. Steak and coconut shrimp entree...I mean....yes. This was $24 for a 6oz steak and 4 delicious shrimp AND a side. Next time I think I'll get the coco shrimp appetizer they were that good. Perfect for big groups and there is free parking in front.

We stopped here last night for dinner, everything was great except by the very end when we sat for about 20 minutes with a pile of plates in between us. I have no complain about food, and service was fine but who is supposed to buss the tables and take the plates? We even piled as best as we could to make it easier but no one took them. Restaurant wasn't busy, they really need to improve on this aspect, it is very annoying to have dirty plates in front of us for such a long period of time.

That sauce on top was delicious! I could probably eat it as a soup (I think it was peppercorn with a hint of mushroom). Plus, it's a great value since you get that second portion of steak frites. The fries were perfectly fatty and crispy, and the bread came out hot and fresh. I could have easily eaten more of it, but I didn't want to fill up before the main course! The salad was good, though I think I'd prefer to eat it alongside the steak rather than as a separate starter. We also ordered a portobello mushroom on the side, which complemented the steak really well. Service was a little slow since it was a Friday night, so it took some time for the steaks to arrive. Parking was a breeze--we found a street spot right away. I'm already excited to come back!

The "East Side" one of the bar tenders made was refreshing and delicious too! I really enjoyed this cocktail. It was giving Green Juice from Cabo with a shot of Hendricks lol For dinner my husband ordered the lamb chops. The lamb chops were fatty...not so much meat on them...however he said the flavor was good from what he was able to cut around. I ordered the mushrooms lasagna and it was just OK...very bland...& lacked flavor... The noodles were also a bit over cooked. I wasn't expecting crispy noodles. The sides were very good. We went with Brussels sprouts minus the bacon and the roasted sweet potatoes. Was a perfect date night. Perfect restaurant for date night, girls/guys nights out... Check them out! I'm glad we did. If you do anything when you go, please make sure to get the biscuits. Hands down THE BEST BISCUITS I've ever had lol. They are the most flaky and buttery biscuits, you can count each layer that these have. Pro tip is to ask for butter and the house made jam. After seeing the list, we chose Randy's. Randy's is a Great American Restaurant, and I must say it's so good to go to a GAR with a menu different from the others. In the past, I've written about how one can go to Coastal Flats and get pretty much the same menu as, for example, Jackson's. We made a reservation for 5 p.m. on a Saturday. We arrived about a half hour early, so we asked if they could seat us right then and there. The people at the host stand said "yes". We were seated at a 4-top booth. Thus, there was plenty of room. The booths, which have mohair seat coverings, were a shade of green and quite attractive. The environment clearly says "upscale steakhouse." Our server was prompt in getting to us and asked if we wanted some water. We chose tap water. He gave us time to look over the menu. We decided to not have any appetizers as we didn't want to get too full. To drink, my husband got a glass of Catena Malbec while I got an Espresso Martini. Our server asked if we wanted some bread. We said "yes". The bread basket had 2 flaky, buttery croissants, plus a slice of white bread and a slice with raisins. For our main course, we both got the 7 oz. filet mignon cooked medium rare. We chose to try two sides. One side was "roasted asparagus" which consists of: "poached egg, parmesan (we asked for no cheese and our request was honored), truffled Bernaise aioli". The second side was "Honey roasted organic rainbow carrots," which were "dusted with candied walnuts". As for the food --- We both thought our steaks were properly cooked, However, my husband said his was on the dry side while mine was just right. We both really enjoyed the side dishes. The asparagus was unconventional, to be sure. Never did I have a poached egg with asparagus. I ate the egg, and it was properly cooked. Looking back, I should have thought to put some salt on it as there was none. The truffled sauce was creamy and added nice flavor. The carrots, to me anyway, were a pleasant surprise. The honey added a nice flavor along with the candied walnuts. They, too, were cooked perfectly. As for being "rainbow" carrots, most were orange, with some white and yellow ones. We had some room for dessert, so we decided to share "Tressa's crispy meringue filled with lemon curd and finished with passionfruit coulis". Since it was our anniversary dinner, a dollop of whipped cream was added to the plate. In that dollop was a lit candle, which was a nice touch. I found the coulis to be on the tart side. The lemon curd was mildly flavored. Service was excellent, though dessert took a while ,to arrive. All in all, a nice splurge and we're glad we came here. (Well...we didn't care for the traffic on Leesburg Pike, but the dinner made it worth the trip).

The atmosphere: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting ambiance. There is plenty of spacious booth seating, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The food: My table started with the Crispy Fried Point Judith Calamari to share. I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and didn't initially realize that the dish included pesto. The staff promptly remade the appetizer without the pesto, which I appreciated. However, the interaction left me feeling a bit like an inconvenience based on the tone of the response. For my entrée, I ordered the Patsy's 5 Star Reserve Rib Eye. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was absolutely delicious. I also added a side of the House Steak Sauce, and it paired wonderfully with the steak. I highly recommend trying it if you're someone who enjoys dipping sauces with your steak! The service: Overall, the service was pleasant. The staff was kind, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. While there were a few minor hiccups, I enjoyed my visit and would return to try more of the menu.

Flavor-wise, they still enjoyed them. Several of us had the onion soup. It leaned a little on the watery side, but it was still comforting and did its job warming us up on a cold day. My mom ordered the farmer's salad with squash, and that maple mustard vinaigrette? Chef's kiss. The flavors paired beautifully and made the dish shine.
