We visited last night, Friday around 530-7pm ish. We had a really nice dinner with drinks. Everything from the hostess seating us to our amazing server, was perfect. We sat in a booth with the high back seats made it a little more intimate for date night. Breanna, our server was attentive but not intrusive. And was on top of everything we requested. I Loved the Sheila fillets, cooked perfectly and oh so tender, hubby raved about the coconut shrimp he paired with a sirloin. The sides of baked potatoes and house salad equally as delicious. Well that was better than ever. We did not expect the food or experience to be all that great but we wanted steak on the way home and stopped here cause it was close and we were pleasantly surprised it was excellent and probably one of the best meals we've had at an Outback Steakhouse thus far. Madison, our server, was friendly, efficient and refilled our drinks w/o our asking. The MIT, Paula, was helpful in keeping our table clear. There is a new manager, Callie, whom we met. She was friendly and very welcoming. Looks like she'll be a good addition here. And... Andrew, of course was AWESOME!!!, as usual. We don't usually dine in the chain restaurants as much as we do local joints, but I've had a gift certificate I've been needing to use.... Generally you would expect to have a steak when going to Outback, but I was in the mood for lobster today. They give you two lobster tails because they are really a bit on the small side. Personally I'd rather pay more and get one nice big tail. But whatever, gift certificate. Service was good, nothing really remarkable about the dinner either good or bad. read more

I came here this past Valentine's day and did the Valentine's day deal. I went to a different location the year before and had a horrible experience so I was a little on the hesitant side to come here this year. We sat at the bar because I needed to go home to study so I didn't want to sit and wait for a table even though the wait time was only 45 minutes. The bartender was super nice and friendly and gave us great service all night. Drinks came out super fast obviously and bread was right behind the drinks. The bloomin onion came out shortly after and was delicious. The batter was really crispy and wasn't saturated in oil. About halfway through the onion entrees came out. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. For sides, I ordered the broccoli and upgraded to the mac and cheese. I highly recommend upgrading to the mac and cheese. They have the best mac and cheese. It is super creamy and very well seasoned. They use the spiral noodles so the noodles hold the cheese sauce more, which is awesome. It also comes with some crunchy bits of something on top that adds a nice texture. I was kind of in a hurry so I asked for the check and dessert as well as boxes to be brought out. That all came out pretty quickly. I choose the cheesecake with the raspberry syrup. They go lightly on the syrup which is nice since the syrup is kind of sweet. I would prefer fresh raspberries or strawberries, but the syrup still tasted good. I will definitely come back to this location again. Service and food was great without them even knowing about the horrible experience I had the year before at a different location. read more

I was at work today and remembered that I have rewards point from paying my monthly rent earlier or in time at the apartment I used to lived in. I withdrew and exchanged my rewards point for a gift card of my choice from their reward exchanged gift cards menu. I've read several reviews and decided that I would love a steak for a dinner. Once I got out of my car, I can literally smell the steak in the air from outside this restaurant! Mmmm, that steakhouse smells! Yummy in the air and yummy in my tummy! Lol It's been a while since I had a good size shareable steak like this one. The mashed potatoes are great, green beans barely touched the grill, but it was okay for me and last but not least, the dessert....I ordered a salted caramel cookies with ice cream scoops on the top. This is delicious, however it could be so much better if it was a little bit more softer. Sitting at our table for over 15 minutes and nobody has bothered to come take a drink order much less a food order

Had family in from out of town, Saturday we decided to get a steak. So we went to Outback off Ray road in Chandler. What a mistake. One had shrimp over pasta, the little on had mac and cheese and the other three adults' had the "outback prime rib steak" now that was shoe leather, one was ordered rare and two medium well done. VERY POOR QUALITY meat. everyone was at least half gristle and fat. Poor taste and just almost impossible to eat. But we suffered through and just left. If I didn't have relatives with me I would have demanded the manager refund our meal. I should have known when we walked in at 7:00PM on a Saturday night and the place was almost empty what we were in for. This Chain restaurant will surely be closed soon, Poor quality meats, poor service means Stay away from this place. read more

Craved some steak and headed on over here. Being originally from MN, we weren't expecting greatness. We were both surprised with how different the service and food was here in AZ. The steaks were tasty and cooked perfectly. No complaints. The tortilla soup was hot, fresh, and yummy. I loved the crispy strips of fried tortilla and cheese on top. The mashed potatoes were piping hot and tasty. No complaints. I love the home made taste of their side. Our server was also very good. He was friendly, kind, and attentive. Two star service for me folks. I love fine dining and I know this isn't fine dining but Outback should set a better standard. Clear my plate so I can enjoy the environment for a cocktail or dessert. The food was good. The service was mediocre for my taste. Nice server but the quality could have been upgraded . I think they needed a busser. That would have been nice. Salad was good. Baked potato was cold internally and warm on outside. The sirloin was disappointing. It was too tough and chewy, and they use too much salt. They cooked another one, same issue. I think they use lower grade beef, USDA Good instead of Choice or Prime. Service was fine. Not sure I would recommend if you want a tender steak. read more

We had to go to Outback after watching the commercials on TV. The lobster and steak combination looked so good. So, off we went. We love the blossom onion and there was a sign on the table that if we checked into Yelp while at the table, we would get one FREE. We did. Obviously, the blossom onions are sooooo good. Great customer service. Our waiter was great, he went out of his way to make sure my daughter got what she came in expecting since it was no longer on the menu. House salad is always my favorite but it had way to much dressing this time. I was a little disappointed at the effort put into the food lately. This entire experience was horrible from start to finish. We were seated in the corner and our server, Katrina took a long time to come by. One of my table mates ordered a beer and it came out considerably later than the waters, tea, and soda. Positive note, I received a free Bloomin Onion for checking in to Yelp. Only took 23 minutes for that greasy, salty piece of garbage to come out. I'll let you know in a few hours if that was a good idea or not. We ate on it because we were starving, but it was B.A.D. Then another 13 minutes for our food to come out. I'm sorry to say, this meal was horrible. Two of us had the chicken tacos with fries. The chicken was way over seasoned and the aioli for the taco was so salty that I couldn't use it. I was salted out. One of my other table mates had the chicken Caesar salad which seemed to be fine. And last, but not least, the last member of our party had the tilapia. It was so heavily seasoned that she only ate about 25% of it. I can tell you I won't be back to this establishment. I don't know what it is, but the restaurant has a terrible odor. The service was inferior and the food was absolutely disgusting. Safe yourself and do not go here. You will thank me. read more

First time going to Outback in LONG time... like 15 years.... I first need to say the customer service is Amazing! the manager "Josh" i think his name was, was like absolutely great! The food is actually pretty good. I think i just need to order "Medium" next time instead of "medium well" and it will be pretty much perfect.. the steak was slightly dry for my taste but it was still good. The famous onion thing was just ok... not bad, just not a big deal to me. But the brownie with ice cream was like Wow! so good. Overall, very good and I will be going back! read more

The waitstaff seemed to be in a hurry to leave because they barely paid attention to my table and I had to order my own drinks from the bar. This was just a horrible experience from the beginning to end. My husband and I wanted a great steak and potato, we haven't been out to much since the beginning of COVID. First we were seated at a booth that was so dirty it had macaroni all over the floor and we got all that slop in our shoes! We both ordered a rib eye steak, medium well then she came out with the bread. It was nice and warm but no plates. When we asked she stated all the dishes were all dirty because no dishwasher. Ok trying to save on labor ... then she drops off 2 plates that were dirty!! Very gross we should have just left then. Then she brought my salad and his soup The house salad was fresh but the French onion soup had only 3 pieces of onion I. The soup! Mind you that we had to pay a $2 upgrade for the premium soup! Not worth it!! Finally we get our steaks ! They are do super thin looks like they took a ribeye and cut it for the middle. Mine was so salty from the rub I could not taste the steak and over half of it was fat!! His steak was supposed to be on the bone, no bone but it did taste better than mine! So we paid over $65 fir 2 steaks and got the most horrible good ever! Will not be going back!! read more

Love this place a lot and utilize their Curbside Takeout service, as it is fast and friendly, plus being on the way home from work, wee can pick it up and enjoy a nice meal at home and not have to face dinner crowds and waits. Their service has always been really good and reliable and their staff members are always friendly. We've never had a bad meal from this restaurant either. I ordered a char grilled bone-in ribeye...attached is a photo of my "bone-in"....have they lost their minds..its a damn sliver of a bone. I asked for it to be medium and some parts were medium and other parts medium well. It was so thin and I saw no bone I thought I must have gotten the wrong plate. I am so confused what is the point in their online ordering system if they're going to take longer than 45 minutes to have the food ready. My boyfriend left nearly 2.5 hrs after we had placed the order, which is 1.75 hrs after it was quoted to be ready by. My boyfriend also already tipped ahead of time on the Outback website so this is a further waste of time *and* money going to this location. Save your money and go to another steakhouse or any other restaurant. Turns out, their system was down, yet the employees were not sharing this information with customers as they kept coming outside to say "your order will be out soon". Only positive was we were able to cancel but it was strange no one gave proper updates with customers waiting in the lot and having to go inside to get answers. For reference, order was Kingsland Pasta and the steak combo with a filet mignon and lobster tail. If this requires 2.5 hrs to make, that is a telltale sign things are being poorly executed and customers left to be disappointed. read more

This place is a hit or miss with the steaks. We had dinner there the other night and ordered 8 steaks, 3 out of the 8 were tough. And while the server offered to replace them, we have already finished everything else. The funny thing was when I went to my car I walked out with another couple from a different table and they said that they come at least once a month but it is a crap shoot if you get a tender steak. So, I guess go out your own risk.. On the other hand the sides were awesome, French onion soup was good, salad and bake potato were good as well. Should of just had the appetizers.
