This location is in the Foothill Towne Center but quite hidden and tucked in the corner by Hoag. Just thought we'd try this for a date night. It's been years since we both had Outback so why not. Bread and butter on the house and of course, we had to get the blooming onion & mac n' cheese bites for starters. Can't go wrong with those. Then for mains? We got their 13oz ribeye with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. The steak was okay, bland and a little bit rubbery. We also got the shrimp and chicken alfredo and enjoyed it. Service was okay. We were seated by the bar area and they were definitely busy.

    Ribeye* 13 oz.

My company is nearby, so I sometimes order delivery from Outback Steakhouse for lunch with my coworkers. One thing I found disappointing, however, was that because it's delivery, the food often arrives cold. So, wanting a freshly cooked, warm steak, I visited Outback Steakhouse with my coworkers and had steak and other appetizers. Honestly, aside from the fact that the food was warm, my overall experience wasn't great. We needed help from the server, like getting a drink refill, but no one showed up at our table after a long wait, so we ended up having to go to the counter and ask for it ourselves.

The service was great. The variety of food choices were good. They had different steaks, ribs, pastes, salads, etc. The food was not really good though. The prime rib sandwich was crispy and overcooked. The ribs were only good if you add extra sauce. It was really dry. The baked potato was missing something so I added salt and pepper. The vegetables with the meal were too soft. The meal was just not too impressive. Happy Steaking!!

Complimentary bread which smell really good

We had tried their Bloomin' Onion which was quite interesting look and taste alright. It seems to be a lot of work to make this one. Their grilled shrimp was over salty for me. The Caesar's salad was fresh and tasty and the soup was over salty as expected, soup is always salty in a steakhouse. The bread was good. Overall, 3.5 round it up to four.

Bone-In Ribeye* 20 oz. Medium rare with Loaded baked potatoes and Mashed Potatoes

This is my second time here this month. The steak is very well made, with perfect doneness. The only difference is that the size is slightly different each time, but the rest of the steak is perfect.

April, our super sweet & efficient server!

We had a craving for a good steak, ended up at Outback Steakhouse in Foothill Ranch. Wow, had great, friendly service from April our server, who was exceptionally efficient. She took our orders and brought our drinks while we enjoyed the soft music, then brought the bread within minutes! Our chilled salads were delicious, exactly how we had ordered. Most of all our cravings were satisfied with the perfectly grilled, amply sized and perfectly done petite sirloin steak!

Our server was so good at his job that I didn't even realize he slid my drink in front of me without me noticing. He was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. In terms of the food it's pretty on par with nice steakhouses. We ordered the lobster Mac n cheese, mushrooms, BLT salad, French onion soup, and the NY prime rib steak. They also have complimentary bread with multiple different flavors - the jalapeño cheese one was the best. Everything was very tasty. The French onion soup was decent at first but became quite potent after a while and became harder to finish since it was such a strong flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly and they even confirmed the color of the inside with us! At the end they had surprised us with a sweet treat on the house to celebrate our anniversary! Such a pleasant surprise which made the experience that much better. Another random bonus of dining here - if you show your receipt at the front door, you can enter their saloon for free. It seemed to be a nice fun line dancing situation if you were up for it. Overall prices for dinner was quite high but pretty worth it if you care a lot about the experience itself.

We were seated right away, we were sat upstairs in the patio area which was very nice. Our server Mason was very attentive and right away brought us some water and took our drink order. We started with a couple of appetizers first we got the lamb lilipops they are sold by the piece so we ordered 3 and we also got the chorizo clams . To tell you that both of these were absolutely delicious! The lamb had this delicious Chimichurri sauce that you don't want to leave any of it on the plate because it's so flavorful. The clams were also so tasty with the chorizo and all of the different flavors in the broth. It came with two pieces of toast and I which it came with more so we could soak up all of the broth. Then we moved on to our main entree I went with the fillet mignon and my husband went with a Snake River Wagyu Denver steak and for our sides we went with roasted broccolini and potato au gratin with truffle oil. Both of our steaks were delicious and the sides were just the perfect combination to go with it. I can forget to mention that we also got a few cocktails and they were also good. We closed our dinner with a delicious and light crème brûlée. We left wanting to already come back and celebrate something else. The food was decent, but honestly not nearly as amazing as we had expected based on the reviews. Don't waste your time on the asparagus or plain whipped potatoes, they were terrible the server raved about the Denver Wagyu and it was so hard to chew for being medium rare! The much bigger issue was what happened afterward--both of us became extremely sick after eating here. It completely ruined our evening and left us questioning the food quality and safety. The flavor...the tenderness...that kiss BBQ sauce and tasty char right on the end rib. It's not slathered in BBQ and just crispy enough in all the right places. The moment I was done...I knew I'd be back. My brother and his wife got the dinner for two porterhouse and lobster and could not stop commenting on how good it was. Everything was delicious (as proved by the before and after photos). No meat was left...uneaten! The staff was great and always checked in at the right times. The inside is fairly dark and filled with old items like a jukebox, pictures, ties from over the decades. It feels like going to a small town restaurant that's far removed from urban sprawl. The servers were all very nice and helpful making the experience even better. We came here to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday as he had never been, neither had I. We all got steaks of course, unfortunately I really messed up getting pics of the whole meal! So enjoy the few I did take, just know they don't do it justice. I started off with a side salad, my fiancé got a side caesar salad, and my dad got a wedge. The regular side salad was delicious with blue cheese dressing, the caesar dressing was one of the best I've had, and the wedge was HUGE with delicious big pieces of freshly cooked bacon on top. They serve free garlic toast with the meal which was perfect with the salads and the steaks. My sister and her fiancé got filets, my dad got a new york strip, and I shared a 27oz porterhouse with my fiancé. Everything was cooked to exactly as ordered with nice grill marks. They only cook over charcoal, no gas or electric. The flavor the open flame gives a steak is tough to beat. Each plate also came with beans and more garlic toast. I will say the steak was slightly under seasoned, could use a bit more salt. The beans were so good I even drank the sauce they came in after the beans were gone! I would definitely come back here again, it's a great experience and the prices are reasonable. The ambience is hard to beat if you like that historic rustic feel.
