Typical of an Outback Steakhouse, so I wasn't wow'd by the food, but it was good. Everything came out fresh and quick! Bread was perfect. Cheese fries with bacon were OK, but more fast food fare. Ordered the 8 oz sirloin, med-rare, and for the price a decent steak, but really tender. What I do commend Outback on, is the SUPERB customer service, and attentiveness of their wait staff. Wife and I went there a week ago. I had the Ribeye medium rare to medium and charred on the outside. Freaking outstanding. Just the right amount of seasoning and charred to perfection. I've been to other locations and it's sort of hit or miss, but this place knows how to do it. Our server was prompt and very educated about the menu. My wife had shrimp and scallops which she was was very good. (looked a little light on scallops for me). Salads are top notch. Yes the bread can be hard on the outside at times, not sure why, but still very good to me. I'm going back tonight. :) read more

I am so disappointed in our local outback steakhouse. Several years ago it was phenomenal and we always got great food and service. He use the curbside service and now it takes almost 45 minutes to get a salad from them. We pay $14 for a salad that has minimal chicken, and no cheese, small quantities of salad dressing and no tomatoes or Bacon bits. It used to be one of our favorite places to go but now I don't think we will go back. read more

So we came here for my birthday dinner they royally screwed up my food. They didn't cook it to the right temperature. Brought my wife the wrong Mac n cheese. When we asked for the manager she came and told me that she eats filet mignon all the time and she was rude. She offered me more food but I did not want anything else from their kitchen since everything we had gotten was off. The manager being rude and telling me the cut of meat I had was sirloin and my dads was filet when it was clearly switched and that I didn't know my meat. Happy Birthday to me. I was just there tonight. We had excellent and fast service. The food not only tasted amazing but it looked amazing too, like it could of been a tv advertisement. My main reason I came to yelp to do a review is because of our server. This guy could easily work for a higher quality steakhouse. He had very professional service. Our drinks were never empty which was pretty amazing. He was very well attentive to his entire section. If you ever needed anything he was most likely going to be making his way around in the next 2 minutes. I give this guy major props, his name was Joel. He deserves great credit for his work. I was also happy the owner/manager made his way around to make sure everything was alright. The guy who brought us the food was also really nice, i did not catch his name though. We dont go to outback often but since this experience we will be back pretty soon and will for sure request Joel for our server until he moves on to better things. Fantastic job! :D read more

Outback has fallen far over the last 10 years. The steakhouse ranked high culinary status in the 90's and early 2000. Perfectly prepared steaks, beautiful salmon and the sweetest Australian lobster tails on the planet. They have now joined the rank and file of mediocrity. Servers are tattooed and oblivious forgetting to bring the wine, forgetting to bring the potato forgetting to bring the horseradish, serving "lump crab" that's lumpy indistinguishable crab, mushy sweet potatoes, limp lettuce. I ordered online at 7pm tonight. Arrived curbside for pick up at 730. Waited till 750, still nobody came out to the car to ask about my order or bring the check. So I go inside. The kid (Danny) looked 18 years old and high as a kite and was being helped by I guess a manager Sandy. They asked me at least 6 times between the two of them, What my name was? and if I had paid yet? At least 4 people who drove up after me, got their food and left. I finally got my food at 845. They apologized once, and said they were "busy" yet the restaurant was empty, and at least 5 waiters were standing around doing nothing for 15 min at a time. This was the worst service I have ever had at an outback steakhouse. I WILL NEVER visit this location ever again, not to mention the food quality was about a 4/10. I would have given this zero stars if it was possible. read more

Been here for the second time. The first time I had an issue with the prime rib. my waiter got the manager, Cory. thus man took care of what was wrong. this time I had to much spice on my steak. again my waitress got the manager. and Cory took care of me again. Every since the new manager came in slow servers. Salad dressing goes well with a to go order third time no dressing with my to go order. Tried in-house service but no TP in bathroom. Just left Outback, I had the filet & unlimited shrimp, my husband had the sirloin & unlimited shrimp. They were both absolutely excellent! Steaks were cooked perfectly & the shrimp was wonderful. The service was awesome as well! read more

Have gone to this restaurant for many years. Always been great service and great food. Strongly recommend this place. Makayla is the best waitress we have ever had so request her if you want the best. Amanda the manager stays busy checking on customers to see if everything is good. Very nice place. Food was awesome. Service and food were both a disappointment. Everything we ordered came out incorrectly and all staggered. As in I got a baked potato then half an hour my steak came out... The steak had no flavor so I didn't eat it. Took it home to see if the dog liked it. No more Outback Steak House! From now its only Road House, they are always consistently good. read more

My family & i went out to eat Friday night & we decided to go to Outback Steakhouse I haven't eaten it in a while so i said let's give it a try. Once we got there were were greeted by the hostess & were sat down immediately. Our server was lovely, but there were a few things that caught my eye. Where we were sitting we were facing the kitchen so it caught my eye every time a server came out with the food. There was one particular guy that was doing a lot of unsanitary things while he was walking with peoples food. The first time i seen him walk out the kitchen he was scratching his head while walking with someone's food. The second time i seen the same exact gentlemen he rubbed his eye then dug his nose again he had someone's food in his hand. The last straw that broke the camels back for me was when i seen him pick the cheese out of someone's Caesar salad and ate it!!! I was in disbelief. Speaking with the manager was out of the question because he looked just as lazy & unkept as the servers. The same young man who was picking out of the food and eating it had to clean up one thing that turned me off from the food was watching them sweep then take the same brooms and sweep the bench. And they took the same wash rag they use for the tables for the benches. The benches that they swept with the broom that was used on the nasty floor!! I was disgusted & turned off from the food. Overall, this restaurant is reasonably good although the menu needs some updating. This particular location however needs some attention. Two times in a row I have placed takeout orders and the order was mixed up. The manager was very apologetic but there is a serious training issue that needs to be addressed. I have sympathy for her when you have to rely on minimum wage employees but the customer facing staff need to be up to the task. If you order take out, double check before you leave. read more

My Husband and I went there last night for dinner and it was the worst meal we both had the Prime Rib and tasteless. Service was very slow, the best of our meal was the sampler platter. Worst experience ever would give it zero stars if they would let me. Sat for 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged, on top of that there were kids probably ages 5-7 sitting at the bar and had half of the bar covered up with toys. Too top that off they had there coloring books taking up other tables. When we left they were literally running around at the front yelling. No one seems to have a problem with it. I didn't like the food that took 2 hours to get there because the waitress focused on her own family's table. Everyone else ate and when I finally got it we were already leaving. Got here around 3ish on a Saturday about 20 customers the most at the time and my goodness you would think it was a full house since it took forever for drinks, food and just to pay over 10mins. Our table was never cleared either while we waited. I felt so bad for the couple sitting next to us, just to get their drink order took over 5mins, then the waitress forgot about them, they were out of bread and drinks. Before I became a Yelper I would always rate this location Maximum Awesomeness on their internal surveys. I just couldn't say enough positive things, and this was my favorite local restaurant near my house. but I had not been in a few months and I went on a Sunday recently and Sadly I walked out without even placing an order. It was around 11:15am and I was sat in the bar. Apparently the bar tender was doubling as the waitress. She acknowledged us and said she would be with us shortly. We waited and waited and waited. And then another customer walked up to the bar and asked her for something and she replied "It's going to be awhile because I'm working on this" (and she pointed down). She wasn't making drinking so I can only imagine she was doing her morning prep work (perhaps chopping lemons and other garnishments). So while customers are sitting around and have not even placed a drink order and she had other priorities, we figured this was already a sign of a bad start. So we just got up and walked out before we had our Sunday ruined by someone who obviously was less than pleased about being at work that day. I even seen the other low start reviews recently left by others and I was a bit confused, but now it makes more since. Service can make or break a dinning experience, regardless of how good the food is. read more

Never been but we were celebrating my daughters 15th birthday and she decided that is where she wanted to go. Our location in Copperfield does not open til 4pm but someone answered the phone at 1ish and gladly confirmed reservation for later in the day. I show up a little early for a party of 7 and they seat two of us immediately. Server, Virginia came by and took our drink order as we waiting for everyone else to arrive. Drinks and bread came out with a little bit of delay but we really were not in a hurry. First impression about the place is that it could use a little update on the interior of the dining room. Second impression was that the menu had plenty to choose from including chicken, steak, seafood and even pasta. Those that ordered the Victoria's Filet seemed pleased. The sirloin and lobster mac and cheese was stellar at $16.99. The 10 oz Ribeye ($17.29) also looked tasty. Chicken on the Barbie $11.99 lwas spunky and included veggies. Kids sirloin medallions with mac and cheese substitute was perfect for my grandson but was pricey at $9.99 for kids portion. Seafood mixed grill ($15.99) was......a disappointment. I guess I compare it to Pappas or Guadalajara's mixed grill and frankly this just was not in that class. The mahi was dry and bland. The shrimp were very good but small and scimpy (not scampy). The scallops were also good too few and there really wasnt any consistent flavor that would make me want to order this again. Overall our experience was pleasant but not remarkable by any measure. With Saltgrass and Texas Roadhouse in the neighborhood, there really is not an overwhelming reason to get back here soon. read more

Jerrikka (previous poster) and my husband used to work together at this Outback, so I'm very familiar with it. We would eat here at least 3 times a week. My favorite was always the ribeye cooked over an open flame. You have to specifically order it like that and it is phenomenal. My husband always got the prime rib, OUTBACK STYLE (this simply means they season it as they do their normal steaks), and rare. It was also very good. Their salads and baked potatoes are fresh and delicious. They have the best dressings around. Todd is the owner and he will do anything to make sure you are happy. Its not too uncommon for someone to request something not on the menu. If it can possibly happen, Todd will make it happen. They are really focused on the customer's happiness. The bar at this particular Outback is the place to be. Hang out there three or four times, and you will be like one of the family. Upon request, they will also make honey butter or raspberry butter to go with the complimentary bread loaves. *AMAZING* Its a clean place and the service is good. If you are in the mood for a good steak, I think this is your spot. Enjoy. read more

My wife and I received an Outback gift card some time back, otherwise we tend to stay away from the chain restaurants. Well, it has been about fifteen years since we had a bloomin onion, so we ordered one to start the meal. OK. I enjoyed the flavor, but it was extremely greasy. I understand it is a deep fried dish, but could have used a minute or two on a paper towel before being served. Oh well, it was good. My wife preceded to order the seafood medley and I tried the filet and shrimp. Her fish (Tilapia I believe) was cooked well, yet the shrimp and scallops were way overcooked. The quality of the steak was fair at best, but they did cook it correctly and it tasted good, yet my shrimp were overdone as well. They definitely need to train their folks how to cook seafood correctly. The service was good throughout the meal and the atmosphere is exactly what you would imagine for a chain restaurant. We would go back if we had another gift card, but returning on our dime is not likely. read more

Came here yesterday with the family for dinner. The hostess seemed to be in training because she didn't realize a table was available until someone else told her. We asked for a high chair before we were seated, we didn't get one till 10 minutes later after we asked 2 more times. My daughter and I ordered the chicken and it was tough nothing great about it. My husband enjoyed his steak. Our waitress was very nice but seemed like she had too many tables to wait on because she was running around everywhere. It was hard to catch her so we could order a refill on our drinks. All in all think we won't be coming back to this location. Also the booths have this strange curve at the ends almost like yo "securely" keep you from falling out of the booth (strange I know) before careful when exiting the booth, I hit my arm once when going to the restroom and again when leaving, woke up with a huge bruise, yay. read more

Food isnt half bad. Service actually makes up for that. I have had some great servers wait on me. The worst part has to be mangement. Hands down, the way i have seen and personally had some of these "managers" interact and speak to guests is outright direspectful. Go elsewhere unless you order take out. read more
