After we were seated, I got up to ask the hostess to confirm and she said just tell the server, he'll bring a dessert menu and notify the staff and they'll sing. The server told me all they do is offer ice cream. After speaking to another server, we ended up with two, but they added one to my bill. And, of course, NO FUCKING SONG TO BOOT! Not to mention, the food was mediocre. My French Dip sandwich I couldn't even finish and my wife's medium well steak had no color and was dry. A few months ago, I had dinner here and ordered a specialty steak that was on the menu called the Big Australia which was an 18 oz. sirloin along with a baked potato. The meal came with a small side salad which arrived first. It had iceberg lettuce and was basic in design that I gave a 2.5. When the steak arrived it did not disappoint me. Big and cooked the way I ordered it, I really enjoyed it. The loaded baked potato while small was also very good to eat. This was a good meal that I rated as a 4. Cost for this meal was in the low $20's if I remember correctly. My next visit for lunch today was to try the endless soup and salad lunch combo for $7.99. Salad options were either house or Caesar. Soup choices were chicken tortilla, baked potato and French onion. I chose the garden salad and chicken tortilla soup. First to arrive was the traditional loaf of black bread with butter. The bread was warm and good. The bottom of the bread was slightly firm but still edible. The soup and salad arrived in about 10 minutes. This salad is called a premium salad and had romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, etc. and was very good (4). The tortilla soup served in an wide bowl had a lot of flavor with a small amount of heat that I enjoyed too. When finished, I was offered more salad and soup but chose to only repeat the soup. I was given the option of trying one of the other soups and I chose French onion. The French onion soup arrived about ten minutes later. It was served in a different bowl that it had been cooked in. The provolone cheese layer covered the top of the bowl and this soup was very hot. I had to let it cool. The soup had a typically good onion flavor to it. However the cheese was very chewy. It was like trying to chew soft bubble gum. I like cheese on my French onion soup but not this cheese. The taste was fine it was just way too chewy. I would probably avoid ordering that soup again. I rated this meal as a 4 because the food was very good except for the chewy cheese and at $7.99 a real value considering it's endless. I was even offered another loaf of bread which I declined. Table service was good. I think Outback is a reliable table service restaurant to come and have a low to mid priced good tasting meal. I would be happy to return. read more

Due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 my husband and I agreed to get take out from here. I happen to have a $20 gift card from a Yelp Event that I needed to use. First we looked at the menu on there website and wow their website sucks. There was no prices for anything. You had to "order" it to see the price. I could not find anywhere on the website that listed the sides that were available. If you "ordered" a steak then it showed you the side options. Just a horrible website. My hubby and I decided it would be easier to just call our order in. The girl who was helping me said that a lot of customers complain about the website. (Ok-it's not just us. Our food was ready within 15 minutes; we were still driving there when I received the text saying our order was ready and to stay in our car and someone would come to us. The sirloin was overcooked and it was so SUPER SALTY! It was like I was eating a salt block. My lips were burning because it was so salty. My server today was Justin, from Memphis.. he knows a thing or two about some chicken wangs... ok! He recommended three appetizers, so I accepted and wanted one of each Now! Blooming onion/ petals -the sauce taste like it has horse radish in there, I'm not a big fan so I like to spice it up, he offered the volcano sauce... yaaaas!! How bout daaah! Really like this location! We go often and really enjoy it. We once got the wrong steak and the manager fixed it quickly with kindness! We recently went and celebrated my husbands bday, he didn't want the waitress to dance on the table for him (she was totally kidding and it was so funny just in the way she said it!) so instead she gave him a little gift which was not necessary but so kind! First off the service is much to slow. When I walk in I expect someone to greet me at my table and take a drink order within minutes. Then I expect my drink to be served within minutes as well. The last time I went I was disappointed. I used the pickup service. The order was late and I was waiting over 10 minutes with workers standing around talking. The presentation was sloppy. Hadn't visited for awhile, so we decided to have dinner here on Thursday night. It was not very crowded, so we were able to actually enjoy our conversation due to the quiet atmosphere. Our server was quick to take our order. The steak and shrimp that I had was tasty and perfectly prepared. My husband tried the new Ausie Chook Ribs. On the menu, they were described as bone in simmered chicken thighs that you eat like a rib. He did enjoy them, but he doesn't think he will order them again. He described them as glorified chicken wings, and he doesn't go to Outback for chicken wings. The manager was delightful and friendly as he was going around and checking on each table. The bread was delicious, and I know that we could have asked ourselves, but it would've been nice if the server offered a second loaf. The food was absolutely delicious , our waiter was so nice and attentive. They have Foster beer on tap! They brought it to us nice and frosty! So amazing! Its an amazing beer and compliments your steak very well. The location was really nice and spacious. Went on a Saturday and they have happy hour specials all week long! Didn't wait at all to be seated. You can call ahead during peak hours to get on the waiting list. Our waiter was Skylar and he was great! Had several people in his section , but brought me another beer before I was almost out and that's an attentive waiter. It pains me to write this because we were so, so excited that they finally put in an outback close to us. However, they've done something terrible to this particular location. We have been there twice now and both times were serious disappointments. We went for our second time for my birthday last night and we had to come home and make dinner after we spent $150 there. Nothing tasted like it should've and the service was absolutely horrible. The gal did not know anything and there was no way for us to really even give her any feedback on the food because she never checked back with us once. The filet and lobster, which I got, was disgusting. The filet was completely flavorless and the lobster (which I usually think is surprisingly good at outback) tasted, and I had the consistency of, being completely raw. I remember it being this way last time I had it at this location also. Another favorite of ours, the Caesar salad, was horrible also. The chicken didn't taste like chicken, and the dressing was not their normal dressing. And it was drenched in it. We've always said that outback Caesar dressing is the best anywhere but they're doing something terribly wrong at this location. Time to get new management or just wait till this one sinks itself. Pictured were my bf and I's plates but what for the rest of the table, we had chicken tortilla soup, grilled shrimp entree, and an entree portion of (I think) the house salad (it had cheese and bacon etc. it might've been the Cobb), and the chicken and shrimp pasta. For drinks we got the new boomerang margaritas, it's a plate shaped like a boomerang with like little shots of margaritas or different flavors. We definitely loved that. I ordered the Kingsland pasta with steak and shrimp. I request medium well for the steak. The steak was rare super bloody. I should've taken pics but I was let thinking about it then. I told the waiter. She came back with an extra plate as asked me to put the pieces of steak on there. I totally assumed they would replace my meat with fresh medium well steak. NOPE! They took my meat back to the kitchen re-cooked and brought it back to me. I'm appalled . Same cut in the middle of each piece o sent back. I was so taken back! I know times is hard and inflation is insane but what makes you think I want someone to re-cook my steak pieces after they were sitting on top of the pasta. Now I'm like there's no telling I could have gotten someone else meat they didn't want if this is there practice. I've been to this location several times before. This is why I'm so shocked. Outback Steakhouse has been around for a good while. We were seated immediately in one of their two people booths and the hostess was very nice. The candescent lighting and the comfortable seating made the ambiance very relaxing. I would say the noise was medium level and even though they have televisions you can sit in areas where they are not distracting allowing you to have a nice conversation. Our waitress was Samantha, a very nice and attentive young lady who delivered excellent service. We started with a Bloomin Onion, always love the taste but it was greasy. I ordered the 6oz. Sirloin & Bloomin Shrimp, baked potato and Brussels Sprouts. Usually the steak seasoning is very salty but this time the streak was perfect. You can't go wrong with a baked potato and for an additional charge I ordered their Brussels sprouts. I enjoyed everything except the Brussels sprouts which was very different then what I order at Longhorns restaurant. I am on the fence with the Bloomin Shrimp which, to me, since it has the same batter as the Bloomin Onion, I'd order one or the other but not both.
