I have given this locations chance after chance. Im over it now. I've reported their curbside delivery to managment. Took a break, gave them time to TRAIN and they still screw up. I place my order last night 11/8 around 6pm. My Curbisde Take-Away Time was 6:28pm. I showed up, maybe around 6:30pm. I FINALLY get my food at 6:48pm. It was a meal for one. Steak and Lobster with broccoli and a baked potato. Now, I've learned to check my food completely when picking up from here, open every single box. I thought when he handed me my bag, it felt a little light. I open up box one, steak, lobster and broccoli. Box 2, bacon bourbon sauce. NO POTATO anywhere in the bag. I called the guy back and said hey my potato is missing. He acted like I was lying, i opened the bag so he could see inside and he says oh my bad. Runs inside and brings me a potato. I get home, and my broccoli, 3 little pieces, and my steak was COLD. I had to warm it up, which took away the doneness that I like. I'll make the trek out to Saltgrass from now on. I have been to this location several times and liked it. On my most recent visit, a maggot was found on one of our plates. The waiter, who was very good and nice, apologized profusely and sent over a manager. The manager looked at the bug with the light from his phone and said "oh, yeah, I'm so sorry" and asked what he could do for us or could he get us anything else? I was disgusted at this point and couldn't imagine eating anything else from this place and then obviously couldn't finish my food, either. I said no thanks. They brought us the bill and removed the cost of the meal where the maggot was found, but still, surprisingly, charged for the other meals. That was disappointing. You would think they would not allow us to pay anything for this disgusting experience. I paid for the rest of the bill, but will not be returning. Take-out/Pick-up -- NEVER AGAIN! I have eaten inside this restaurant and at many other locations, but this was my first experience with their curbside pick-up. I gave clear and concise directions when I ordered on the website. However as I sat curbside going through my order to make sure it was complete, I wanted to cry. When my husband called the wait staff over to the car, she said, "Oh, that's our kitchen, please let us know what is wrong." She promptly walked off. I had entrees mixed with incorrect sides, food not cooked as ordered, missing toppings, etc. I asked my husband to go in and get a new hamburger bun and gave up on trying to fix the rest of the disaster that was to be a family dinner. All right, we just had the worst experience ever at this location. My wife and I went there for lunch today around 11:20 am and were seated by the hostess. We waited approximately 15 mins and no one ever came to our table all the while people were being seated all around us and being served. My wife finally goes back to the hostess and tells her that have not been waited on yet. The hostess looks around the corner at our table and says there is your waitress right there and leaves. Thinking we were going to get waited on, we waited another 10 mins and no one came. Finally we waited long enough with no service and just left. We told the hostess that we never got waited on and were leaving since no one is going to serve us and she just says "really" and "have a nice day". Awful customer service. Update: Outback contacted us regarding this incident and made things right with us. I have to give them five stars for their willingness to contact us and to fix this situation to our satisfaction. NASTY! Went for lunch today to check it out for a wedding dinner coming up. I ordered a $40.00 luch and noticed that my silverware was nasty. It had food stuck all over it. The manager came over and informed me it was not normal. After unrolling 3 other silverware rolls (in front of the manager) and seeing that all of them were nasty also, I noticed that the glass of tea I had just taken a drink from had something stuck to the inside of the glass! My food had not arrived yet so I got up and left. I notice other customers mentioning the same problem here. How can you trust your dinning experience to a place that can't even wash their dishes? Had not been to Outback in months. Decided to go because I recall the kookaburra wings being good. The food -- my daughter had the kookaburra wings and fries. Came out hot and well seasoned. Wife had grilled chicken and baked potato. Chicken was seasoned and juicy. I ordered the kookaburra wings and baked potato. Both were good. But I decided to try their grill chicken pasta as well. Treated the pasta like an appetizer. That pasta was shockingly really good! Can't forget the bread. Its always a must have. The service -- our server was named Nelli. She was fantastic. We will ask for her next time we go. Bottomline, it was a good visit. The only downfall is they could not decide where to sit us which made no sense because not many people were there. Our home in Houston's Energy Corridor was flooded when the Army Corps of Engineers opened the reservoir flood gates in the waning hours of Hurricane Harvey. We were blessed with temporary housing in Copperfield, and over the time we have been there, this Outback location has been my wife's and my place to relax and commiserate on our home recovery, rebuilding, etc. I am a fan of Outback Steakhouse in general. Over many years of business travel, I have grown to rely on Outback for a consistently high quality experience no matter what city I find myself in. Having visited this restaurant on several occasions, I must offer kudos to their management and staff, especially the bar team, for consistently offering quality service and quality fare. A big prime rib fan, I am so thankful that Outback offers prime rib every day. I order it "Outback Style" - cut from the roast at temperature, seasoned and seared, it is presented as ordered (medium rare in my case) and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their raw horseradish as an accompaniment. This location earns five stars from me for two reasons: (1) Their team, especially in the bar. They are terrific. (2) Consistently quality fare, which goes beyond the bar to the kitchen and management team. We will move back into our Energy Corridor home permanently over the next couple of months. But after we do, we will make the trek to this Outback when the palate demands prime rib and my wife's and my busy lives demand some down time to sit, talk, plan, and take that deep breath that we all need once in awhile. read more

In the days of Covid-19 sitting to eat was kind of weird. The hostess has a mask, waiter, and all of the staff! Every other table is sectioned off. It's different. Our waiter made us feel comfortable. He was polite and prompt. (Hoping it's not just because of the current events going) Paper menús that they discard after ordering. Jenny was a delight! I had a strawberry margarita my husband had an IPA. Both were great! He had the filet with lobster, mashed potatoes and veggies. All was good but the lobster was a little undercooked. I had the coconut shrimp for my entree with a sweet potato on the side. My best friend and I went to Outback to get a dessert. We had just come from a family owned restaurant that we have frequented as loyal customers for over 25 years. My birthday was last week. It was a landmark birthday (my best friend bought a delicious cake from them for my last landmark birthday). The waitress who had been there for years actually brought the dessert tray and wanted to see if wanted anything. Well, they did not even offer to give me a cupcake for my birthday. They have never gone out of there way to make super loyal guests feel special. That did it for us. We love the carrot cake at Outback so we went over there for cake. Since we would have to buy it at the other restaurant, why not buy at Outback instead. Our server at Outback, Aiyana L. listened to our story. She took our order. When she came back, she said Outback would not be charging us for the carrot cake and told us the manager would be visiting our table. Erick Sotelo, the manager came the table and said he was sorry to hear what happened and wanted to make sure we had a great experience with Outback. Now, that is customer service! Came here for lunch! When I came for sinner the other night (which I would have rated higher for sure), the food was perfect and so was the service. However it was different today. We waited 5 minutes for a server and then got our water (which was never refilled even though they asked us). Then the beginning of lunch was going smoothly. Got our blooming onions. It did have a harsher onion taste to it (again we ordered one the other night and that is what I am comparing it to), so it made me believe that it was not cooked all the way. When the lunch combos arrived the burger was cooked wrong. It was medium instead of what was ordered, which was well done. All that could have been eaten was the side. With a time constraint and not being checked on, our order was unable to be fixed. So when it was "comped" only the burger was. We were still charged for the side which I think is dumb Bc yes it was eaten, but Bc that was part of a combo which was messed up. It was a combo of bad service. Disappointed in this today. Food looks good, but when it is cooked wrong then it isn't worth it. read more

Always a good experience when I visit. Service is sometimes spotty, but it's usually on point. I love the blooming onion, and I like the Victoria's filet mignon as well. I have to start out by saying that my family eats at this location at least once or twice a month. We have NEVER had bad service here, and everyone, especially the managers, is very attentive and friendly. This time, our server, Samantha, was very sweet. Our food came out promptly, because the waitstaff is very good about backing each other up. In fact, Liz (who was also very attentive and friendly) brought our steaks. I cut into my steak, and unfortunately, it was overcooked somewhat (I ordered medium and I got medium well--not everywhere but most of the steak had no pink). I decided that it wasn't a big deal, and started eating. Not long after that, a young man came over, and inquired as to whether the steaks were to our satisfaction. My wife's was fine, and I didn't want to say anything, but I made a rueful face, so Chandler, who turned out to be a trainee manager, offered to bring me another steak. A few minutes later, he brought my steak personally, along with a fresh side of grilled vegetables. He asked very politely for me to cut into my steak to make sure it was cooked to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, this time, it was under-cooked, and he apologized, taking the plate back to the kitchen, but not before offering my wife and I free dessert. Moments later, the manager, Amanda, came by with another steak (it was perfect this time--juicy and wonderful), and chatted with us. She told us that she put this one on the grill and cooked it herself! She was extremely friendly and personable. When Samantha came with our check, she didn't miss a beat. I had to yelp while I was eating. The food is so good today!! Alex is in the kitchen (I had to ask his name). The asparagus was steamed/blanched to perfection. The seasoning on the asparagus wad the best I've ever tasted at Outback. We got the Great Barrier Combo. The lobster had a perfect flavor. The shrimp was sauteed and seasoned wonderfully! I know Alex didn't "cook" the baked potato, but he may as well have. I only used butter salt and pepper and it was once of the best I've had. Just perfection!! I know I keep using the word perfect, but MAN, That's The best I got. And get Simone as your waitress. She's hot and she's really sweet. Had to walk out it's Monday. No one was in there so we decided to sit in the bar area. The bar tops was dirty. We had to ask the bar guy to wipe it down. That should been something already done before a paying customer sat down. There was one worker in the bar area working hard. To me she was the only one working. The bar guy had two customers and was just sitting there talking to them while we had to wait for him to finish having a conversation. No one came to take our drink order. Again, it's a Monday the place wasn't pack. After poor services we decided to take our money somewhere better. We had a great Valentine's dinner here tonight! Our server Julia did an amazing job taking care of us and our meal. Julia gets 5 stars for her service. Some small "issues" which weren't that big of a deal to us. My fiancé's steak was a little over cooked the first time but they did not hesitate to make sure we got a new one as fast as they could. The cheesecake at the end of the 4 course meal was delicious, but we could tell it might have been frozen not long before they brought it out, but again it did not stop us from eating the whole thing! If I hadnt checked my order before driving away I would have been pretty upset that half my order was missing. Missing mac and cheese, missing double order of broccoli, missing a drink, missing dressing for my wedge salad, who wants to eat dry lettuce? I got all the missing items except the dressing for my wedge salad, I was assured it was in the bag when I got to the office it only came with the balsamic glaze, no blue cheese dressing. Had to throw it away, waste of money. Will not order curbside again. read more

There still isn't a lot of good places to eat in the Copperfield area so my wife and I eat at this Outback location frequently. We went last Monday after a long dry spell of about a month. I don't think we'll be back again for quite a while. Ever since Todd left the place has really gone down hill in terms of food quality and service. Damn you Todd!! Come back!! We were seated on the right side of the place, almost all the way back, by the kitchen, which I knew off the bat was a bad omen. I think Todd's replacement was off and it sounded like the wait staff, cooks, and whoever else was back there were having one heck of a party, loud obnoxious behavior echoed throughout the dining area from the kitchen. One of the wait staff was using her feet to push her little tray table with a tray full of stuff and of course it tumped over and make a terrible noise and a horrible and dangerous mess. They never did clean it up completely and when we left later, we stepped around water and lettuce and stuff. The employees thought the whole thing was hilarious. Meanwhile the obnoxious drunken singing and laughing continued and seemed to get even louder. For the first time ever, we couldn't wait to get out of there. Plus my steak was under cooked. Went here the other night and the steak was cooked very poorly and just looked awful. They offered to make me a new one, and after another 30 minute wait the steak looked the exact same.
