Food is very good and super reasonably priced. My issue why I reduced a star is because I did NOT get a. 8oz barrel cut filet. I ordered it but was given sirloin. I sent it back, kitchen confirmed they gave me sirloin and then gave me the filet. But the filet was not the thick barrel cut. It was thinner and it was 6oz. It tasted delicious, very soft, buttery and great flavor. But very disappointed it wasn't the exact cut or size I expected. My parents ordered 6oz sirloin and it was literally the same size. The 3 course meal is the best deal. Only certain entrees on it, but I wish I got that instead, comes with a salad or soup the entree with a side and dessert for $16-21 depending on was you order. The burger looks huge, juicy and delicious. My parents enjoyed their sirloin though my mom said that she had some grizzle in hers. Hers also tasted like it had a whole pepper shaker dumped on it, way too spicy and strong. The salad they bring you is a nice size and I tried the cheesecake, it was so creamy and rich and delicious. The chocolate sauce on it was a nice touch. It was my grandmas birthday and they brought her out ice cream with a candle in it which was so sweet of them. It was my first time at this location and we met Heidi the bartender. She was filled with so much positive energy. I loved watching her, she introduced herself, clean tables around the bar, cleaned the bar and served to us and literally had her act together in every way. We ordered the three item one special, which was absolutely delicious, I ordered the coconut shrimp and my husband ordered the half rack of ribs. We each got baked potato soup, which was absolutely delicious and then to finish it off. I took the cheesecake back to work and shared it with my friends. It was a great experience. This is my favorite Outback. I love to come for lunch and sit in the bar area. During the week, Heidi is usually running that section and she is the best! I recently stopped in for lunch and ordered the burger off of the lunch menu. I went with the creamed corn as the side. I added sautéed onions to the burger. Outback makes a fantastic burger, and they always cook it perfectly. Sometimes all I want is a good burger and on those occasions I like to come here. This location is a "testing" restaurant. Meaning this is one of the few restaurants where they try new menu items. If the items do well, they eventually expand to other Outback branches. It's so seriously disappointing that this Outback fails to deliver! I have been eating here since 2014, so nearly 12 years and I have witnessed a gradual but consistent decline. Please see the attached picture, and the amount of fat that was on this prime rib. It was more than 50% fat. They allowed this to leave to kitchen? Was there no one looking at the plate and seeing the disgusting amount of fat? The manager only offered $15 off of the bill for this. What a joke!!!! Keep the $15, to spend of advertising for new customers, because I will not comeback until everyone of the employees are replaced. Seriously what is the point of spending so much money on advertising and remodeling the restaurant, when the result is horrible food? This is my Outback restaurant, been going there for many years. Last night I enjoyed a wonderful dinner. When my Ribeye was served it was past medium, I had ordered medium rare....my server, J, immediately had a new steak made and delivered by JD from the kitchen, including a fresh potato...perfect and I enjoyed it immensely. The staff is always pleasant and attentive, from when you walk in the door. Before leaving I made sure to tell Joel, the manager, what a great job they all do/did, and how much I really enjoyed my meal. Wife and I have been coming here for years, we generally come for dinner during the weekend or on a regular weeknight for a drink or 2 at the bar. Drinks are good with a decent price (love the smoked cinnamon pecan old fashioned) and the food is always great (steaks are always seasoned well and generally cooked to my liking). They had an appetizer at some point called the Nashville wings, which was sooo good, wish they would bring it back as a permanent menu item. After a 2 star experience about 5 or 6 months ago, we had said we'd never return here. But time going by and an expiring reward was coming up so that we decided to give this place one more chance. As it turned out, we had a very good dinner here this evening. We had expected it to be busy on the Memorial Day holiday, but the bar was wide open and we found seats immediately. We got wonderful friendly service from the gal behind the bar (sorry no name; young gal with long black hair tied back in a ponytail). We also got very fast service from the kitchen. We started out with our (free) blooming onion. I don't normally order this unless in a group because it is over 1000 calories (eek!), but we figured we'd eat a bit as an appetizer and then take the rest home. And that's what we did. It was perfectly cooked, huge, and served with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. For our main, we shared a 'seared and seasoned" 12-ounce ribeye steak. For our potato and one side that came with it, we opted for two baked potatoes. The potato was very good -- steaming hot and coated in coarse salt. The steak was cooked as requested, a tad fatty on the edges, but tasty and tender on the inside. After this experience tonight, we will come back again -- much sooner this time. read more

Updating my previous one star review to four stars. Tonights dinner was really good. My wife and I shared a Bloomin' Onion and a 12 oz.. Seasoned Rib Eye. The Rib Eye was prepared as we ordered and the baked potatoes were quite large and cooked through to make them tender inside. My boyfriend's daughter loves Kraft Mac and cheese and asked if they had it and unfortunately they did not. She likes it because it is not that cheesy. Lay though said it was good and would have the kitchen put a little bit on it, so she agreed to it. Lay also suggested the Bloomin Shrimp which were very tasty, even Michael's daughter ate them. My boyfriend got the ribs as his entree which he loved. I could see that the meat was just falling off. I did the special that was currently going on, the 8oz filet and lobster tail. I am so glad I did. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster was delicious and for the price of $22 you can't go wrong As for Michael's daughter and her Mac and cheese, she did like it. So he ate the broccoli while he was waiting and they brought his new steak to him. He had nothing to eat with it because he ate the broccoli while waiting . My complaint is they could have brought him new broccoli with the steak.
