I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Capriotti's sandwich Shop at 4825 Ft. Apache, Las Vegas, NV. After placing my order and paying cash, I asked for a bathroom to wash my hands before eating there. I was told that they do not have a bathroom. I told them to cancel my order and refund my money since I was unable to wash my hands before eating. They were unable to refund my money as the manager was not there. After speaking to the manager by phone, I was told that he would be there in 30 minutes. They wanted me to wait 30 minutes to get my money back on an order that I canceled immediately before the sandwich was made. Not very good customer service. How is a restaurant with available inside seating able to operate without a bathroom? read more

Last time, we got the large capastrami (my fave sandwich here), this time we got the large classic cheese steak with the sweet peppers, mmm. Just an observation, The roll looked a tad bit smaller (shrinkflation?). It's a tasty sub sandwich. Everything was yummy. Took it home. I added banana peppers to ours. We split it three ways. Two males that work at this location are very unprofessional. I was waiting for my order to pick up and these two males were talking out loud about girls and cussing. I expect all Capriottis locations to be the same but this on isn't. It's filthy in the inside. At first glance it looks fine but when you don't order ahead and you wait for your food to be made you start to notice things. We ordered 2 sandwiches a Cole Turkey and a Chicken Philly. While the Philly was cooking I noticed that the grill was dirty with scraps of burnt food but not only that there was a bunch of old food crumbs under the grill and what looked like a puddle of grease or sauce with a rag sitting next to it. Neither one of my sandwiches had much meat on them and the Cole Turkey was very very dry, it's usually it's dripping with juice. The wall near the fountain drink station needs a good wiping. It looks like it's never been wiped down with all of the dried soda and food caked in the wall. The trashcan is near the same area and is in need of a good wipe down too. I also included a picture of the floor with cakes on grime. Besides the facility being unkept and the food not being a as good as it usually is. The guy working the register was very friendly but he didn't change his gloves from working with the register to making sandwiches and his female counter part looked like she didn't want to be there. read more

Ordered sausage sandwich, out of sausage. Placed different order, waited inside restaurant. Tabletop was dirty and very sticky. Air vents in ceiling were VERY dirty. Most of the light fixtures had bulb that was burned out or missing, I counted at least 7 light fixtures that were missing a bulb. If you are not maintaining the dining area, I tend to think you are not maintaining the food prep area as well. Overall bad experience, I will NOT be returning. read more

Wow...this location is something! We've come in to this location a few times, and every time has been a let down. First of all...this location is dirty! I question how often the staff clean. It's super ghetto in here. The employees and the other customers in this location have always been ghetto. Every time we've come in there is BET music videos blaring. They are consistently "out" of ingredients. The last time we went in I ordered a cheesesteak (I will say, Capriotti's makes an amazing cheesesteak) and they failed to mention that they had no onions. Like how are you going to leave that detail out until I ask for extra ingredients? Onions are essential in a cheesesteak. I wanted extra cheese and mushrooms...instead of just adding those complimentary as a "sorry for the inconvenience" they charged me. That to me was just so tasteless. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the sandwiches do always taste good once we get them home and eat. This place is ridiculous and expensive for what it is. Almost 4.50 extra just to add a drink and chips. My sandwich, even with the condiments and such was dry and plain. Barely any meat. I can't imagine the horror it would be if I didn't ask for veggies. The sandwich without anything is already 10$, then they barely put any meat? You have to ask for veggies as well. Ridiculous. He did say it appears they have been cutting back on the meat so he always has to pay extra just to get it back to the normal level of meat on the cheese steak.
