We sat down briefly, but the bar area was dirty, and honestly, the interaction left us feeling unwelcome. The tone and attitude from the hostess came across as if she really didn't want us eating there at all. So we decided to leave. I have never left a yelp review in my life, but beyond frustrated with my time tonight. My wife and I went out for what we hoped would be a nice dinner at Outback Steakhouse, but it turned into a frustrating experience. Our server was incredibly overbearing, visiting our table 8-9 times throughout the meal. She seemed determined to rush us through our dinner from start to finish. Our entire meal took less than 25 minutes.. The pushy service began almost immediately. After my wife had taken just one bite of her steak, the server asked if she wanted a box for it. This set the tone for the rest of the meal, making us feel hurried and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, my steak was undercooked. I ordered it medium, but it came out rare. By the time I could get the server's attention to address this, my wife had nearly finished her meal. Adding to the unpleasant atmosphere was a horrific smell of cigarettes that permeated the server as she reached across our table. It was difficult to enjoy our food with this constant, offensive odor. When it came time to pay, our server hovered over the table, waiting for me to finish writing the tip. Her impatient presence made an already uncomfortable situation even worse. The moment I finished, she whisked the check away. The combination of the rushed service, improperly cooked food, and cigarette smell made for an awful evening out. We won't be returning to this Outback location. read more
