    Wheat roll

I ordered a Outback Center-Cut Sirloin* to be cooked well done . There is just a tiny bit of pink . I haven't eaten a steak in years , I upgraded from 6 to 8oz , it's moist . The broccoli was in a plastic bag wrapped in foil. In a separate bag I was shocked to see gravy cup covered in foil and a nice size wheat roll and butter things I didn't ask for but appreciate receiving . Drink choice was Kiwi Strawberry Lemonade . When I initially tasted it, it was super sweet , I could see the kiwi lingering at the bottom so I picked up the cup and shook it vigorously so the kiwi was nicely mixed and the drink no later was too sweet .

Bloomin' Fried Chicken, Caesar Side Salad & Bread

Stopped in for lunch & ordered the blooming fried chicken w/mashed potatoes. I also added a side caesar salad & of course you get the complimentary pumpernickel bread. The blooming fried chicken was juicy, well seasoned and fried to perfection. The potatoes also had the perfect consistency. The sauce that comes with the chicken is marketed to be spicy but isn't (which I'm not mad at). I'm glad I ordered the lunch portion because it was just enough food to know you've eaten without feeling full. My server was Donald W. - who I'd describe as intuitive when it comes to gauging a diner's needs. Before I could even think to ask for anything it was on the table (bread, straws, lemon for the water I ordered etc). Overall positive experience at this location...honestly haven't been to a location that wasn't so when in doubt, eat at Outback Steakhouse.

    Kingsland Pasta

Service & ambiance was great but the food was very bland! The mixed vegetables were watery and the shrimp was "Blah." The pasta was undercooked and needed more sauce.

We got a booth immediately at 7pm - shocker - but not surprised it was right next to the kitchen. On the bright side, our server appeared promptly and the drinks were on the way. I went for the Peachy Keen ($11.50), very good! I ordered a dinner salad, but when the server (Diana) asked if I wanted chicken on it, I agreed and for some reason it became a $19 salad. I was disappointed that it was 3 times the salad I wanted but it was very good. Fresh ingredients made it worth taking 3/4 of it home. I ordered the range rattlers ($16) as an app, even though I wasn't very hungry. They were hot and spicy and crunchy, with a nice piece of shrimp inside. so good! Two of the 4 went home, also. Diana was attentive, got everything right, brought my water with lemon right away, both of my peachys were delivered promptly and she kept our table clean. She even boxed up our meals and in the beginning remembered to ask if I was a rewards member, which no one does!! Two stars for that! Good service means a lot to me and I would recommend her to anyone. Actually, all the staff seemed to take their job seriously, they were all hustling. The managers were running as fast as the staff! Thanks for not letting me down, Saltgrass, even if you are in Mesquite, lol. just kidding, heehee

The server was really nice and we never felt rushed during our dinner. The apps:started with the brisket queso and I was surprised how much we liked it. It could have used little more brisket; but overall very tasty queso. It had a bit of pico de gallo on top too. Comes with chips. The steak: I had the renegade sirloin with shrimp. He had Flos filet. It's no lie because Flo knows steak ! His steak was better hands down, very tender and juice - and he ordered his well done. We go to Roadhouse frequently but may have to come here instead. The other star of the show: Mac and cheese bacon. It's as good as it sounds. The salad: very good salad, they use the premixed lettuces and all was fresh. I hate old lettuce. Ranch was on point. To-go: we took home the strawberry shortcake and cheesecake. I liked both but the kid said her favorite was the cheesecake. Side note: my shrimp and his corn on the cob were very salty. But we are willing to give this place another chance just for the steak.

My friend had been raving about the garlic lamb chops so I finally decided to order them. I had the lamb chops with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The lamb chops were pretty good. I would highly suggest trying them as I believe they are seasonal.

What an absolute hidden gem in Mesquite!!! Mesquite isn't known to have the best dining options and…read morethe location is easy to dismiss as being good quality, but oh how wrong we have been! Seriously. 1) the service is top tier, super friendly AND it's all family operated 2) the meats were seasoned to perfection and you can tell immediately when you taste it that it was all marinated well and cooked with lots of love! They customize the meat to your liking in terms of cooking preferences without any commentary about the way YOU like your meat. This was big for me as a well-done only eater with texture preferences and not being patronized with sassy comments for my personal tastes when I'm paying for it. My partner likes his quite the opposite, more traditionally prepared, and they HAPPILY accommodated both of our preferences! We had picanha, ribeye, sirloin, garlic steak (forgot the cut), lamb and of course grilled pineapple. There were chicken and pork offerings too that we were too full to try. I didn't get lamb at first until my partner tried it and raved about it being sooo good. So I gave in and tried it and it was so bright with flavor like fresh lemon and herbs and was tender with no gamey aftertaste! It is indeed the best lamb we have ever tried to date. Please don't forget the chimichurri sauce from the salad bar to pair with your meats! It's so fresh and flavorful, perfect to set off the grilled charred meats. They give each of you a card for you to signal to the servers if you have the green side face up that you are ready for more, or flip it to red side face up to signal you are passing on being served more for the time being. 3) the salad bar at first glance looks small but it is mighty, packed with yummy options. I had potato salad, fresh beets, marinated cucumbers, olives, candied bacon. My partner had Cesar salad, tomato soup went nicely with the cheesy bread, and other things I cannot recall. There were more selections available that we didn't have room to try, but looked equally delicious and fresh. 4) they do serve wine and dranks if you imbibe. 5) they have done well with the ambiance and interior decor for the space that it is. I don't remember which day it is, but they also have live music there one day a week. 6) we paid $40/person all you can eat during dinner service. They offer lunch service M-F as well for $25/person - great deal! 7) we went the day after my partner's birthday and our waiter brought him a huge slice of cheesecake with Happy Birthday written on the plate - on the house! 8) please note they are closed on Mondays 9) they also offer catering services 10) this was the best Brazilian steakhouse experience that I have ever had personally, my partner agrees and we will definitely be back soon!! Please go support this fine family run restaurant that serves so much love in their craft!

Excellent local spot's take on the Brazilian steakhouse concept: like Fogo or Texas de Brazil…read morethey'll have a rotating server staff coming by to slice off delicious food for you. Ambiance: They would benefit from new pictures because the restaurant is actually much prettier than these pictures suggest - dim lighting, wine bottles cleverly used as decorations, etc. of course the space isn't that big and I had to sneak past people a couple times while waiters were slicing off meat, but then again you have the same experience at Fogo, which is typically a much bigger location with much more seating. So no points knocked there. On the whole the food is actually much tastier than Fogo, which we were able to compare/contrast nicely since we went there just the week prior. The garlic sirloin was overwhelmingly our most popular choice as well as the choice of the two tables nearby us. Don't sleep on the chicken however, and the grilled pineapple with sugar is super tasty as well. Salad bar equivalent was much smaller than Fogo's, but it's actually better. Not like that matters anyway, since the meat is the main attraction. Service was superb. We came in on a busy New Year's Eve with a reservation, and were able to be seated promptly. Staff was all super nice and friendly. You won't ever worry about the servers not attending to you, and one younger server was particularly diligent with our water refills. Thanks! Finally, value. The price is much better than Fogo's, and you're getting an overall better experience in exchange. You can bet that I left a nice tip! Overall an amazing, relatively lucky find. We will definitely be back and hope they enjoy great business for years to come. Thanks for giving us a special new local stop.

We invited a couple for dinner to celebrate their wedding we weren't able to attend. They are foodies, so we thought to try something different. The bread that looked amazing tasted like cardboard. The Hummus was terrible, and we are pretty snobby in the Mediterranean department. The Cesar Salad was good. Then the food came out. The seabass had to be sent back once, the second time our friend just dealt with it. I had the rack of lamb, which I get often. Awful flavor and strange celery mix underneath. The guys got Cowboy Ribeyes. My husband ate his because he hadn't eaten all day. He said, he couldn't make a better steak. Our friend had ONE BITE and didn't touch it after that. They bagged it up for him, and he left it behind. A $78 steak, not even touched. The mashed potatoes were great actually. Brussel Sprouts were the worst I've ever tasted. I think the poor server saw we weren't enjoying dinner and brought us out a complimentary chocolate tart, said to celebrate their married couple. It too was not good. Most everything was left half eaten or barely touched. I've never felt like I just threw $500 in the trash can, as I did last night. The food looked good (as shown in the pictures below, but don't be fooled) Complete disappointment. I say this as someone who worked for a restaurant group of high end restaurants for many years.
