After waiting over an hour to get my food, they come to the table to tell me they didn't have what I ordered. So not alone did the food take forever but I had to eat something I didn't want. Kathy the manager was very rude. I will never visit this outback again. If you are in the mood for steak, Longhorn, across the street is much better. We just ordered take out and picked it up at the time we were told. We ordered the Victorian filets with baked potato and a salad. The steaks were cold, the potatoes were raw and they gave us the wrong salad dressing. We have ordered before from here and have had fairly good luck but the food tonight was almost inedible, especially the potatoes. Went in to enjoy the steak filet and shrimp (all you can eat) special. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait at 6:00 pm, but I think it was less than that. The food was great and Christian, our waiter, did an outstanding job. He refilled our drinks, offered lemon for the tea, and brought more shrimp, as needed. I asked for tartar sauce and one of the managers, Lauren, made some for me since they don't carry it. We had a pleasant night. Absolutely horrible! Order a huge meal. The blooming onion wasn't cooked. The fries were cold and very poorly put together. The steaks were cooked wrong and extremely poor quality. I used to love Outback Steakhouse. Wouldn't recommend this unless there is nothing else available. read more

Been coming here for years and we typically get take out. Last couple times here I sat and unfortunately the service was pretty weak. This time was no different. Our waiter disappeared and was only around to drop off our food. 1st he dropped off our blooming onion w half a little cup of sauce. Next time we saw him we ordered some more which he forgot and disappeared. We asked what looked like a manager for some next and unbelievably she forgot as well. We finally asked another waitress sort of angrily and she hastily brought us more sauce to eat with our cold blooming onion. Dinner service went exactly the same! Forgot to bring butter/cinnamon with our sweet potato. He forgot again after we asked! Needless to say our waiter was worthless. Came today after a long hiatus of eating at outback and I was extremely impressed with the incredible and attentive staff. To start the host was great super nice and just wonderful. Then our waiter Lee was incredible. Very personable and just amazing , our food was on time our orders were perfect and Lee really made an impression on us. He should be the head trainer for all to see what " being an incredible waiter is" this outback has done a 180 with their overall service. I'll be praising this location as perhaps the best service I've ever had. read more

I had a offer for a Wednesday special they emailed me so I stopped in with the family and the offer said you get a salad and a side with the entree and a desert. The jackass waiter decides to argue and say it's just a salad comes with it and no side . I am like learn to read it clearly states it does. So he checks with manager and comes back like he is doing me a favor by honoring their offer . I am like you aren't doing me a favor you have to honor your offer. Service was slow . Then overcharges me on the bill . Forget this place . I shouldn't have to argue about the prices that are clearly stated(I am not a cheapskate , but I can't stand being jerked around about prices). . Oh Outback. I've been coming to your establishment since I was a child. But where did it go wrong? Throughout the years this place has just become more and more expensive and for what? Look, Flanigans has better burgers and beer. I still love the Bloomin Onion (though it is the WORST appetizer in AMERICA. It has like something over 7000 calories). Also, I love the Aussie cheese fries. I love the Alice Springs chicken. But those are too few to truly love the place. And, they are so expensive now. The love affair is over! Good day mate! Outback, you have won back my respect. I have shied away from Outback over the past couple of years. The quality had gone down. The portions shrunk. I would have ranked Outback in the "awesome" category 5 years ago. It slid into mediocre. I am happy to report that it has climbed its way up to "pretty damn good." The menu is pretty fantastic and reasonably priced. My new favorite deal is the 6 oz. steak with one side and a side salad for $10.00. They are also offering the same deal, only wood-fire grilled, with a side of shrimp, mahi-mahi, or chicken and a side salad for $3.00 more. The service the last 2 times I went was phenomenal. The time between when we ordered and got our food was short. The restaurant was not packed and noisy as it had been in the past. The ambiance was nice. If you have also been disappointed in Outback's quality in the past few years, give them another chance. They are redeeming themselves! read more

As far as chains go, this is the most consistent out of all of them. I have eaten at Outbacks across the country and they all serve consistently good food. This happens to be my closest location, and its a busy one. Highlights: The brown bread, Awesome blossom, Walkabout soup, steak. (They do a very decent steak, whether you get the Outback special or the Victorian fillet) Now if they would only open up for lunch during the week days. read more

We decided to have steaks while in the falls at 6:30pm on Wednesday. Most of the dining area was open for seating. There are happy hour drink specials until 7pm. The Australian house wine for $5 was good not too dry and slightly sweet. The blooming onion was a good portion but a bit too greasy. The dipping sauce was good but too little amount for the size of onion. The caesar salads had fresh crisp lettuce with crunchy seasoned croutons. However, even for somewhat health conscious dressings, it is too light. Ask for an extra serving of the caesar dressing. The Parmesan chicken breast was a good size with a tasty crumble but the chicken was a bit too dry. The rib eye was seasoned well and cooked a perfect medium. The portobello filet special had a nice filet but only had 2 shreds of portobello mushroom which was disappointing. The filet with lobster tail was a thin 1/2 inch thick palm size and was delivered rare not medium. The lobster was a good size, about 5 oz, and was seasoned and broiled nicely. Their french fries are good with alot of seasoning. I'd rather spend a few more $$$ and have a great steak or spend half the cost for a gourmet burger. read more

My family and I have been going to the Miami Lakes Outback since it opened its doors over 27 years ago. Way to make sure to ruin my son's 21st birthday. HORRIBLE SERVICE, not to mention that the MANAGER actually made us feel horrible by stating "he did not speak Spanish" ..... needless to say, I was the one speaking and as you all know I speak great ENGLISH. Lunch with the wife today at outback was typical after noon the best thing was our bartender Jessica thanks to her it was a pleasant experience. The food was OK at best. Today was our 17th anniversary and we decided to go to the outback in the Falls where we met 17 years ago the place looks really nice inside however the experience was something to be desired. To start I asked for a table and was put in a booth despite having many empty tables. The drinks would go empty and never refilled despite the waiter visiting our table on multiple occasions. To top it off I order a rib eye with potato and asparagus. When my dinner came , they never gave me the asparagus. By the time they brought it back I had already finished my dinner. Outback is good food and generally a great atmosphere! But tonight's visit was very noisy and disruptive. The music was more like a south beach night club not a restaurant. And very loud. We had to almost shout in order to tslk during dinner. Just a quick update! Well we ordered our food an my wife and myself ordered the bone in rib eye medium rare. When it came it was black and burnt on the outside and red inside. We tasted it and it was like eating charcoal. We sent it back and received another that was burnt on one side. They then proceeded to tell us that that is the way they cook that rib eye. Well the outback in kendall has no problem not burning our steaks! The manager said we should order it seasoned and seared. Not regular. Seems like a bunch of BS. Needless to say we went home hungry. I don't think we will be going back to Outback anytime soon if ever again. read more

I had a gift card since December and couldn't decide which restaurant to try that was listed on the card, last night we opted for Outback, so we can have some Steaks! I started off with an unsweetened tea and for an appetizer my boyfriend and I got the coconut shrimp with a marmalade sauce...Wow very delish, crispy on the outside with just enough coconut, not too over powering, just perfect and the sauce, is just amazing. I got the OUTBACK Special with Shrimp Barbie on the BBQ. 6 oz Fillet with steamed vegis and sauteed mushrooms. The Steak I got medium rare, to perfection, juicy and pink in the middle just the way I like it. A little chewy but I am guessing it's the type of meat I chose. The shrimp, I could have used more than just 3 small shrimps, but boy was it DELISH! The mushrooms as usual were tasty and juicy and the steamed vegis steamed to perfection. My boyfriend got the Rib-eye Char-grilled, and boy can you taste those chard grilled flavors. also Medium Rare to perfection, he was happy with the way they cooked it and it tasted great, he also had the mushrooms and steamed broccoli. The Broccoli was huge and very tasty (as tasty as broccoli can be) ;) We didn't get desert as we were too full, but I have to say, Outback is better than I thought it would be, I don't know why we don't come more often. It really feels weird writing a review about this location of Outback. I've been coming here since I was a kid -- I have memories of my dad getting drunk on Bloody Mary's then stealing all my crayons from the kid's menu and pretending to decapitate all of them while slurring "don't kill me, don't kill me". It's the one place I can think of in that particular neighborhood that hasn't changed AT ALL since BA (Before (Hurricane) Andrew). But enough nostalgia -- I personally like this location best. There's other OSes in town, but I don't know, this one always seems to have the least amount of issues. Steak-wise, I always get the Outback Special because you get a lot of bang for your buck. BUT I was recently introduced to their grilled salmon and I was surprised to discover that it's pretty fantastic. And I usually don't like cooked salmon at all. It's grilled and even without the butter it's super juicy, if you're looking to save some calories. Also, the french green beans are pretty badass if you're looking for dietary options. read more

Quentin is one of the most personable waiters and always takes the time to engage us and banter with us on a personal level. He has outstanding customer service and a fantastic personality. Four old friends who go out together as often as possible- tonight we went to Outback across from the Falls. None of us were interested in steak- we had salmon. Chicken and shrimp. The food was very good but the waiter was the best! Quentin was fun, efficient, helpful and intelligent. He fit into our mood. We had a great time and he was one of the major reasons why we did. We usually go during the week because it is quieter. It was quite noisy this evening and the place was packed - the kitchen had some problems with my husband's order but Quentin stayed cool and got everything straightened out. I really enjoyed eating my steak cold... our utensils took forever to get to our table just to eat our food... customer service sucked. I mean I understand it's Covid but hire some decent employees. That's not all, our meals got to the table and the mashed potatoes took even longer to get to our table. How is it that difficult when it wasn't even busy!!! Thank you for one of the worst meals.
