We were able to book a table online which was easy, we still had to wait 15 minutes upon arrival but we didn't mind. Nick was our server and provided us with such great service. He was hilarious, kind and very attentive. The restaurant was so busy but he made sure not to forget about us. Apart from the delicious food, he made our experience fantastic. The bloomin' onion was so crispy and delicious! We wanted prime rib but they ran out, however, the porterhouse was perfectly cooked and flavored. I haven't been to Outback in a while and thought I'd give it another try. I'm reminded why I don't go. The salad had no dressing. The Alice Springs chicken was dry, the steak it came with was like a hockey puck. I ate one bite and was done. I could barely get my fork into it anyway. The potato also didn't have enough butter or sour cream. I ate one bite and was done. The service matched the food (unfortunately). Good service can make up for marginal food - but not here. Drinks weren't refilled and nobody came to the table to see how the food was. Just horrible, I'm done with Outback and you should be too. I attended this Outback because I had gift cards from a Yelp event. We arrived for dinner on a Saturday evening around 5:45. I knew that this location can get quite hectic, so we got there at an early dining time. Our server was Miranda. I could tell she was an experienced server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. When we ordered the salmon, she said it can be spicy. I appreciate it when the server gives me a heads up about items I'm going to order. It is that little extra effort that I notice. We ordered the sampler platter, salmon and prime rib. The sampler platter was full of all the greasy goodness. Afterwards you feel so gross because of all the grease which is to be expected. But man it tasted so good. It filled us up fast. My salmon was my favorite thing from the meal. I enjoyed the seasoning. The veggies that came with it were too soggy though. My only other complaint was that the Caesar salad that came with the prime rib had too much dressing. Next time I would get the dressing on the side. The GM Chris checked on our table. He was friendly and kind. This is also something I appreciate as I know GMs are busy. Overall a pleasant dining experience. I normally don't eat at chains but I can see the appeal. It's a good place to get simple common foods. A pretty consistent menu that can please the whole family. This location gets very busy because of the proximity to the theme parks. Worst dining experience ever. We went to Outback Steakhouse in Orlando on Vineland for dinner and had the dining experience from hell. Our seating area was so freezing cold that everyone in our area had jackets on and were requesting the AC be turned off. After our second time asking the waiter to move our table, the people next to us informed us that they had already complained 3 times in the last hour. As we were eating our salads, a waitress dropped a glass of coke on my boyfriend's father's head. His clothes were completely soaked and there was glass everywhere. The waiters all started dying laughing as we were trying not to step on glass. A few minutes later a manager finally came over to see what was going on. 20 minutes later they put us at a new table in the same freezing cold area, this time closer to the station where the staff puts in orders and as we sat there we could hear the staff saying rude things and making fun of us. Finally we got our entrees, including the medium rare steak and buttered steamed carrots in the pictures....... We were compensated with a free appetizer card, and the manager offered to comp our meals. I'm surprised she even had to ask! We go to this Outback location because of the staff - managers Joey & Tanya, who make us feel incredibly welcome, server, Ellis, who is, by far, the BEST server we have ever had. Always request a table or booth in Ellis' section and you'll receive the best service; he is very efficient, acutely aware of his guest's needs and has a friendly & intelligent tableside manner. Tonight we met Krysten, nickname is "Brisbane". She is sooo friendly, too. Can't say enough kind things about this Outback & its team members!!!! The staff, even when they are short staffed, work together like a fine oiled machine. And the food....absolutely mouthwatering! I always ordered the Alice Springs Chicken, but tonight I tried the new Bloom Fried Chicken. What can I say? It was the BEST chicken I've ever tasted! Highly recommend it! We were so impressed with the Yelp event hosted by Outback that we decided to drive all the way from Apopka to have lunch. Our 17 year old commented "we haven't been to Outback in years!" We shared what a great dinner we had at the Yelp event. Again, food was fantastic! Our server Ashley was awesome! She was attentive without being overbearing. She was super nice but not exaggerating. Of course we started with the blooming onion topped with steak and cheese fries. I tried the Philly steak and cheese and it really hit the spot. Have to say I thought about this overnight before deciding to write this review. My wife and I stopped in around 3:45 with the plan to have a drink and appetizer and order food to bring home for a dinner later So we did and my wife decided to eat then so she order the full rack of ribs I mean it was the Fourth of July she was going to eat half the ribs and I would eat the rest later my wife only ate three of the ribs and said they were dry she ate the fries and helped with the appetizer and then we asked for a to go box my wife told the server the ribs were very dry and as we walked out she said she would never come back. Always a great time when I have dinner with my son. We sat at the bar, nice and friendly bartender, it was quite a nice atmosphere. It was not too full, but still there was a good vibe going on. Beers were nice and cold, food was serve in a timely manner. We had wings as appetizer, I found them to be a bit salty for my test. For dinner I went with the 7oz. salmon and veggies and it was delicious, the veggies were nice and crisp and had a great clean flavor; salmon was perfectly cooked. Really a nice dish! My son had pasta with shrimp and chicken and said it was really good as well. They have 4 or 5 TV's in the bar area, they were showing sports (good variety). Do not recommend. My friend and I came here and basically wanted drinks and appetizers. We put in our drink orders right away along with a bloomin' onion. Took about 45 minutes to get the onion because they apparently had to remake it, but that wasn't communicated to us till the possible last second. I ordered soup and salad and my friend got a chicken tender platter with a side of mac and cheese. The most basic food in the world. Tell me why we were waiting for over an hour for our food? Our waitress literally told us when we put in our orders that we should tell her everything we want then and there because we "probably wouldn't see her again the rest of the night." And she didn't lie, other wait staff brought us our food (missing items and condiments). We waited so long we were the second to last table in the restaurant before they closed. Outback wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I know ... you probably sound like Lil Jon shouting "Wwwhhaatt!" right about now. Of course, it just might of helped that I downed a whole pitcher of Down Under Sauza Gold Coast Margaritas by myself. Sarah S. and I started by splitting an appetizer of Aussie Cheese Fries with Bacon and an odd Ranch Dressing. We probably didn't need the carbs, but it was Happy Hour when some apps are 1/2 price. For my main meal, I listened to Sarah's recommendation and went with the Outback Signature Steak (medium) and a Dressed Baked Potato. The spud soaked in Kosher Salt was impossible to stop eating once I started. Holy Moly, that's a great baked potato. I ate the skins it was so good. The steak was kind of meh and tough at times to even cut with the knife. My other side was a $1 upgrade to the Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese that was totally a-ok. Our server was fine. She was pretty quick and they did a good job of squeezing all the food & drinks on the tiny table. Parking is free in the shared strip-mall lot. If you are going to eat a steak from a chain restaurant, then Outback is a good choice. No matter what else you order, make sure you get the Dressed Baked Potato. read more

We waited 10 mins for a table, ordered our food and waited 30 mins for the appetizer. She told us she would be right back with more bread and water. She didn't return. Never got the bread. The blooming onion was burnt. We attempted to eat it, but it tasted like carbon. We sat there waiting for our waitress to return for another 30 mins. We explained it was burnt and promised another one. Which came another 30 mins later. We still had no silverware at this point. Our salads finally came, no forks. No waitress. Finally someone else noticed we had no silverware and brought some. Took two hours total to have dinner. We were literally falling asleep at the table. Will never return. I did not dine in but ordered food from this location. I ordered my steak medium with French fries and broccoli. The steak came well done and DRY, probably one of the worst steaks I've had in my life. The French fries were dried out like they'd been left under a light for too long (my two and five year old would not even eat the steak or the fries). We had dinner on Sunday 9/5/21 around 5:30pm the restaurant wasn't full, the waitress was the bartender too, she was really friendly and came to us as soon we were seated, she brought our drinks and appetizers really fast, no issues with that. But unfortunately the napkins had this ugly smell, like musty smell, I guess they folded the napkins while they were still wet (I don't know) the food was not good, I had chicken/shrimp Alfredo and the noodles were cold but the meat was hot, my husband asked for steak medium well and it was well done, we just ate what we can and just left our plate Half way full.. we understand some places are short staff but please make sure the napkins don't have this awful smell or just give paper napkins.. if you ask me what was worst, the food or napkins been dirty I would say napkins... read more

We ordered the Bone in rib eye with mixed vegetables 6oz Filet Mignon with Broccoli and a baked potato and garlic shrimp crispy ones are delicious as well to end things the Chocolate Thunder for down under really hit the spot! % the BLOOMING ONION is a hit here . The staff is amazingly attentive and fast, the manager even came by while we were eating to check that everything was all good. I've been to numerous locations in multiple states and Outback never disappoints, but what stood out the most was our server Carmelo. He was polite, quick to check in on us and update us on our order, and delivered exceptional customer service all the way around! We had a group of 9 and some members of our group were not polite towards him. For this, I sincerely apologize as I do not condone their behavior towards Carmelo or his boss, both of which handled the situation very well and were extremely polite the whole time. I made sure I spoke with him privately to personally apologize for their behavior and that he was tipped well for being such a great, humble server. To be fair, the only thing I actually ate here was a slice of bread but the experience was a nightmare. Everything was fine until our salads came. I asked for extra bleu cheese dressing on the side. One ramekin that was in my salad was fine. The other ramekin looked like it had been served to someone else...yesterday! It was discolored and the ramekin was had old dressing crusted around the top. It was horrible. I obviously didn't eat that. Then our steaks came. Mine was undercooked and my husband's prime rib was almost raw. It was cold and looked like it had been sitting for a while. We didn't eat anything and left. There is nothing that would make me go back to this location. I wouldn't want to know what the kitchen looks like based on what was put on my table. There are too many other good restaurants in the area to waste your time at this nasty place. We visited Orlando 2010 and couldn't wait to go back to the Outback. Last time we went here 3 times! You can imagine our surprise when we actually got the same waiter as we did two years ago. This time he was cheerful and attentive. The spring onion as starter is enough for 3-4 if you just want something (to do) while waiting for the food The starter bread that is complimentary is delicious! Large draft beer is HuGE! Coming from Sweden where you always have sauce to the meat - I find the steaks a bit dry at times. And what's with the cheese on chicken everywhere? The home salad with ranch dressing is really good! I always order sweet potato when served - try the fries! Desserts are huge. We shared a key lime pie. This was my first key lime pie and I can relate to the episode in "Dexter" when he's searching for the perfect Key Lime Pie - well he won't find it at Outback! Not very good, too strong taste. We wanted to finish off the evening with an Irish Coffee - well, this is certainly not the place to get it. The waiter said he knew what it was but I am not sure, we gave him the ingredients and he gave us a mug of coffee with cream (uhuh not whipped) and a shot of whisky. (see photo) It looked just like my regular morning coffee. Haha! Who were we kidding?! We better get back to the margaritas! Outback steakhouses seem to be differently priced but this one is inexpensive and good. We visited this location on the first night of our vacation. We were a little tired from the flights in and wanted a nice meal. This restaurant is located right behind a little pond so I am sure the view during the daytime is relaxing. We were seated promptly by two very nice hosts. When our server came to the table, he got our drink orders promptly. He was very personable with my son throughout the meal, which was greatly appreciated. He suggested that we have his food come out first...pro move! He was able to speak to the menu items and made it seem like it wasn't a big deal to make small changes, which I appreciated. He kept our drinks filled and our table clean as we polished off our food. He never made us feel rushed as my friend and I caught up on our travels and life. He made us feel welcomed and provided us with stellar service and it was pretty late in the evening when we arrived. The food was delicious and the steak reminded me why I love steak so much.
