While making the order, I did enter my vehicle information as requested. It has been awhile since we have gone to Outback. I will say. The food was great. I had filet and lobster tail. They were both cooked perfectly and tasty. My husband had the prime rib and it was good as well. Alexis was our server and she was fantastic! She was spot on with everything!! read more

My wife didn't take two bites of her steak, which was $32 - very disappointing. I forced my steak down after drowning it in A1 sauce. We did finish the sides which were pretty good. We boxed her steak and we forgot to take it with us. We returned a minute later to get it and they bussed the table. Doesn't matter, our dog probably would not have eaten it? I was only upset because it cost so damned much and we couldn't even salvage dog food out of it. The steak was way over cooked and tough to chew almost like bubble gum. The medium rare steak was tasteless, tough to chew, and probably not a NY strip but a sirloin cut with a small bone in it. Salad and bread was ok but not remarkable. Server was nice and accommodating. Bill was $75 with $15 tip. Overall rating? Not worth wasting your money at Oxnard's Outback! For the price you really can't go wrong. Not pleased with the side choices, which is rice or vegetable since everything else is an add on charge. I was able to swap my potato for a dinner salad and vegetables. The steak was ordered medium and was good, not as tender as other times but can't complain. Vegetables were over cooked in my opinion but were fine. Nothing spectacular but it was fine for the price. Had enough leftover to bring home for another meal. read more

For my first time here I was very disappointed. Our appetizer was their signature blooming onion. It was the first time my husband and I had ever tried it. It was extremely greasy and soggy. Every bite had left significantly large amount of grease on my hands. This was off to a bad start but I still had hope. I ordered the filet mignon and lobster entree also as a first time meal. My filet mignon was rare (very noticeably bloody and tender) and I initially had ordered it medium well. I requested a re fire and this time they forgot my lobster. For the waitress to not even notice I was pretty disappointed. Her excuse was that they were very busy. I saw plenty of staff standing around talking. This was my first time back at a Outback since January 2019. My first time back at this location in probably almost 10 years! I had a $50 gift card I was excited to use and first thing I knew I was ordering was their Blooming Onion. It comes out perfectly battered and fried and you need to share with at least 2 other people. My bf hardly touched it bc of his diet so I ended up eating almost a third of it! The seasoning they use is just a tad salty so I can't see myself eating this very often but it is worth getting and make sure you get ranch on the side bc it's better with the ranch then the aioli they give... although the aioli is good it's just thick so you can lose some of your onion in it. We also shared the wedge salad which is different from any other wedge salad I've had ( and I've had plenty) bc they drizzle the top with balsamic glaze. And I didn't mind it one bit.... it was delicious with it! We also shared the steak and ribs plate and I ate more the ribs while my bf ate the steak. He loved the steak and I really did like their ribs. Meat was tender and the sauce was really good. And they didn't drench the ribs in sauce which was nice bc I felt like there was just a perfect amount on them. Don't fill up on their yummy free honey wheat bread but it's hard not to eat it. We had a second one bc it was so good. Our server was friendly, attentive, and she got our orders right. There was a delay of our steak and ribs plate coming out but it did come piping hot. My blackberry mojito was also yummy and I feel it was a good sized cocktail for what it cost. I'm a fan of Outback so I'll be back!! read more

The steak was prepared perfect the asparagus was good and so was the carrot cake and baked potato; however, I ordered a chopped blue cheese salad and this is what they sent. I think this might be a side salad I don't know. It wasn't very appetizing, so I didn't need it. The whole bill was $69.. For $69 it should have been the right salad , and it should have been fresh. Like I said , the stake was perfect, so no complaints there. I always feel bad for doordash people when the food they deliver is not up to par. Really a great choice. Delicious meat cooked exactly as I prefer. The bun is toasted to perfection. The fries? Well I've finally found excellent fries. February 13th, 2023 marked the second time we dined at this location in a few months. The first visit was at lunchtime. It was not very full but service was very slow. The guy behind the bar served us and worked hard at getting to everyone and serving the bar. The food was OK But for a quick get-in and out it was a bad choice. Our second visit was for dinner. the bar area was almost full and the other dining section was empty except for a party of six. We checked in with the "receptionist" who didn't look up from what she was doing and said, "Name, how many?" I have cactus with a better personality. We got seated after ten minutes, no shortage of empty tables, so why the delay? The food arrived promptly and was good. We finished and the check arrived without requesting it. Good as we need to leave. We paid with a card and as always tip with cash. I asked for change and that was the last I saw of my money and the waitress. After a while, I asked another waitress where was my change, and the waitress. Still waiting. I'm guessing our waitress thought if she keeps us waiting long enough we would leave. Eventually, my change arrived (20 mins). Sounds like there is a little scam going on here. In summary, the food was good, the music awful, and the service appalling.
