I come here once in a while and the service and staff are always friendly and happy to serve you the minute you walk in. I absolutely love their bread! It's very soft and I always wonder if I can buy a few loaves to go haha They're also very accommodating in terms of food. For example I usually get the chicken quesadilla and a them to omit the mushrooms and they've always been happy to listen and do so. One complaint is their bloomin onion platter. I'm not sure if it was meant to be this way but many of the rings did not have onion inside! It was basically a crispy batter outer shell with a hallow interior. Went for dinner and was disappointed with service. Been there a number of times, during pretty busy and not so busy times, and have always been happy/satisfied with service. Server who brought food to table tipped my daughters plate and spilled her French fries on the table - not all but a handful. When dessert was brought out as the server was putting on table it plopped over and she said "that happens all the time." If that happens all the time why isn't the dessert assembly thought through and changed by management? read more

Had dinner here tonight, the food was standard outback, but mainly I had to comment on how pleasing it was to see so many young men and women working at this place, not sitting at home being lazy and taking handouts, but doing what's right, working and contributing, all with smiles on their faces. We celebrated Father's Day early. Well a pregame version of food if you will. I'm utterly impressed with the portions here. I remember when entrees actually looked like appetizers, what a blow. Pop had the Mild Wings, mommy had the Blue Cheese Wedge Salad, and I shared their starters. We stuck to fountain drinks being that we weren't in the mood to have anything containing alcohol. For my entree I ordered the Crab Topped Tilapia, Aussie Fries, and Grilled Asparagus. The tilapia was the length of two hands facing each other with the finger tips touching. A beautiful piece of fish. Tasty and light. I forgot to tell the server no mushrooms but it was still good all in all. The mushrooms can easily be picked out if that's not your thing, as it isn't mine. Pop had the Parmesan Crusted Sirloin, Carrots, and Coconut Shrimp. Stopped in last night for dinner since my daughter wanted steak. We have been to this location before. The staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and there's a lot of parking. The blooming onion was delicious! Not soggy at all. My husband enjoyed his prime rib and my 3 year old actually ate most of her steak and fries. My steak (medium well) had a somewhat weird taste and my asparagus were a little too firm for my liking. Drinks were refilled promptly. An appetizer, steak kids meal, one soda, and two adult steak meals cost $57. Cant beat that! If ever in the area again, we would return. read more

This Outback Steakhouse is one of the Best that I've ever dined at and that's "too right". Really Great Specials just as advertised on their tv commercials had me hoppin over here like a "Boomer". Really like their bread and butter served piping hot on the cutting board. Want more ? Just ask, "no worries". Started with the Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp; Hand dipped in batter, rolled in coconut and straight off "the Barbie" paired with Creole Marmalade - "good inya mate" Then you gotta "crack a few tinnies" or three, (Fosters). The promotional Steak and Lobster dishes are really Great- you get a Lobster Tail and choice of fillet Mignon or 6oz to 10oz Sirloin and (2) sides. Believe it or not the combination of the Lobster tail, 6oz Sirloin, Grilled Asparagus, and Broccoli & cheese filled Me up "full as a goog". I ate buffalo for the first time! Wasn't so smart to eat it in front of the buffalo's head on the wall though! The meat was very meaty (kind of reminded me of liver), but it was also cooked medium rare. I guess for next time, I'd suggest ordering it cooked well. Last week omg absolutely terrible my daughter and son had gotten a steak meal the steak was ice cold and had a very very gamy taste my wife had gotten a salmon meal which was beyond over cooked and as for me I get the 16oz prime rib everytime I'm there and the last one I got definitely not 16oz as well served beyond cold brought it up few times to be told we can heat it up in the microwave sad sad sad I think from here on out I'll take my business elsewhere read more

Last reviewed in August 2021, so it's been a while. After that disaster, we could not chance it. But this past weekend, we tried again. The good part - Prime Rib was cooked perfectly, Medium Rare for both of us, the vegetables were hot and were ok, the Margarita's were made perfectly to our liking. The bad part- the Wings were inedible. I am not sure how they prepare them Aussie style, but they seemed to be baked, no sauce, were extremely hot and spicy. I had requested Medium, to no avail. A wasted $16. Total bill this time was $108, so prices have gone up considerably in the 2 years, about 25%. That's par for the course. So next time, if there is a next time, we'll skip the wings which will save about $20 including tip and stick to the tried and true. By the way, the place was pretty empty for a Saturday night, so maybe they are on the way out. We have always had a 30 minute wait before. read more

"well-cooked steak... delicious bloomin onion and quite a good service..." we had been there last Saturday with friends. one of our friends got a new job, so we were celebrating that. heard about this steakhouse so wanted to give it a try. nice ambience. as soon as we sat, they served a loaf of bread and that was good. we ordered our drink, and girls like it. they had a strawberry mojito and castaway cocktail. try their blommin onion with sauce. that's their speciality. in entree, we ordered New Zealand lamb, firecracker salmon, and parmesan hub crusted chicken. I had lamb and I asked for well done and that was good. I enjoyed my steak. others were equally good. Decided to stop in during a long drive home. Me and the girlfriend wait to be seated, took a while for the servers to stop messing around in the back to notice us after four minutes. Wouldn't be a big point usually, but there were only 3 or 4 other tables in the whole restaurant, so it wasn't busy. The server was nice, though. Started off with a blooming onion. It was pretty overcooked, and was just kind of not fun to eat and burnt. Decided to try the new blooming onion fried sandwich, as I was in the onion mood. Same issue with the sandwich, the fried chicken was a dark brown color, no where near what fried chicken looks and not as described in the menu. Super thin and very burnt. I only ate about half. Didn't finish my fries either. Kind of put me off of the whole meal. Also made me regret spending $50 on food worth no where near that. read more

Very disappointed tonight with the delivery. We ordered two weeks ago and everything arrived perfect and hot. Tonight my steak arrived in a clear box container where the steak juices dripped out and was super dry! They tossed the sweet potato in there and it wasn't cut or prepped. Normally I do not review chain restaurants because you generally know what to expect. However, I HAVE to review this recent experience. I have a boatload of gift cards that need to be spent for here. I've been here several times and haven't written anything because they are meh. Not good, not bad. Meh. Tonight though, oooooh tonight. The man and myself got an appetizer, which we wouldn't normally do, but gift cards. The sampler. Aussie fries good (they forgot the bacon bits but the runner noticed and brought them right away), Bloomin' Onion strips good, fried Mac n' cheese? Blech. Overcooked. Tasted like burnt. Waiter was surprised. But was he surprised we thought it was gross? Nope! He was surprised that they weren't still frozen on the inside, because that's usually how they're rejected. So while all of this is going on, we watched another table have a complaint. The woman's vegetables were completely uncooked. Apparently it was noticeable on first glance. The manager said it looked like they "opened the bag and dumped it right on the plate." They replaced those immediately. Then I hear the waitress apologizing profusely to the table two down from us as they were leaving. Don't know why, but it was several times. Our food comes out and it's good. The meat was cooked properly, which helped the star count. The other thing that helped was the service. The place sucks, but the people are nice. The $6 shrimp add-on was, well, shrimpy shrimp. Itty bitty. I did not get the side of broccoli I ordered, nor did we get another serving of bread that was offered and accepted. You know what did come out? Your family says "Outback!" The question: do you stay late at the office that day, rack your brain to come up with a better suggestion, or just give in? Since I'm writing a review you already know what *I* did :) Not so keen on chains in general but this one seems solid. Outback first softens you up with a $4.25 house margarita. It's actually a decent drink, sure it's on the small side but not in some ridiculous sombrero-shaped glass. I've paid much more for the same version elsewhere. Annoyingly the dinner menu has absolutely no drink prices listed, but the small drinks menu on the table gives the game away. Then they hit you with the deep-fried onion, which is a crushing blow to anyone's appetite. So crunchy, so hot, so greasy and so good with the (stupidly mild) dipping sauce. The next question: do you get another margarita? Hmm. They sure don't last long. On to ordering. When in Rome, right? We all got steaks. According to one teenager they were perfectly acceptable steaks. I confess I chose the girl-size, senior-citizen size 6oz sirloin with a side of shrimp, basically a low-key surf-n-turf. Ordered medium rare, arrived closer to medium, very tasty. Their standard treatment is long on salt and especially long on pepper, order the alternate wood-grilled flavor if you don't much like pepper. For sides we tried thelobster mac-n-cheese (ok but not decadent), french fries with bacon and cheese (definitely decadent), sweet potato fries (laced with some sweet drizzle), smashed garlic potatoes (tiny lumps seemed like a good sign of real potatoes) and rice (uh, yeah). Service was particularly good. Restaurant was maybe 2/3 full which might have helped a lot, we didn't wait even a second for a table. We barely had our butts down on the bench when our waiter was at our table taking drink orders. Drinks came very very quickly and he took our appetizer order, the aforementioned onion. The onion arrived shortly thereafter, soon followed by salads, which were large plate of greens with cherry tomatoes, cukes and other goodies, very nice). Then there was a bit of a wait .. and our meals came. Meal for four cost about one Benjamin with tip. That's a bit higher than I like to spend on a weeknight dinner, but laughably small compared to the non-chain steakhouses where I live. When it's time for my son to choose where we eat there are only three choices that ever come out of his mouth...Longhorn, Buffalo Wild Wings, or Outback. The boy is a creature of habit and I can appreciate it. I'm not huge on eating at chains regularly, but good steak is good steak - even if it isn't as great as some of the stand alone steakhouses. Anyway, we've been to this Outback quite a few times, so I was shocked I hadn't reviewed it. Let me start with I've never had a bad meal here...ever. When we arrived this last time it was a little early so we didn't have to wait, always nice when you are hungry. Waiter was on us quickly for drinks and I was thankful as I NEEDED a beer. My kids ordered the sirloin (the boy) and the Chicken fingers (the girl...SMDH), my wife ordered the Salmon (Good for her thinking healthy) and I ordered the sirloin with a lobster tail. The salads and bread were as good as always - simple but delicious...and then the food came. We were all hungry so the conversation stalled while we looked like wolves tearing into a moose, but the food was SO good. Yes, it's not a Rod's Steakhouse strip steak with bleu cheese, but the sirloin at Outback is always great. Here was the one problem with my meal...if you've ordered a lobster tail at any time in your life you'll understand...You get down to the last couple bites and you realize, "CRAP!!! I'm down to my last couple bites, the deliciousness is almost over!!!". I hate this about lobster (or steak for that matter)...I love good food and when you get to that last bite it isn't satisfying like the commercials try to sell you - it sucks! My son (since we were out for HIM) decided he wanted dessert as well...and he ordered the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under...and yeah, it was freakin' great! It's been a minute since I have been to Outback. I was a little disappointed that I went. The food was subpar. I had a ribeye medium and I guess since it was a little flat, it was more like medium well. I didn't eat it all so I took it for lunch. I ended up taking a couple small bites and threw it away. The sides were ok as well as the wings. My server was on point. She was bery attentive and patient. What bothered me was that I noticed upon getting seated, the manager was going to tables in my area asking how everything was and making small talk but although I was there for a good while, never even looked towards my table. I don't usually take the time to review casual dining restaurants, but the excellent service we received at this particular Outback is definitely deserving of my time. We do dine out often in these chain type eateries, but rarely do we have an experience that we consider remarkable. Every single staff person we encountered here was friendly and made a point to smile, say hello, ask if we needed anything. Never once did I feel the need to flag anyone down even though we had several drink refills, needed extra ketchup and decided to take another look at the menu. Even when our son tipped over his plate sending the extra ketchup careening to the booth seat, everyone remained pleasant and smiling. I was overall impressed with the professionalism and great service I'm usually accustomed to finding only at high-end fine dining establishments. I usually try to avoid chains but when it comes to steak, most of the non-chain places charge a pretty hefty fee for steak (which is always worth it do not get me wrong.) We decided to keep it simple and head over to Outback. It was a very enjoyable meal except for the fact that the plates were way too small for our meals (which I will get into later). Who doesn't love Outback bread? Pumpernickel with a melting butter is always a great way to start your experience. For appetizer we got the Outback wings. They are so different than other places' wings and if you have not had them it's worth a try. Great flavor and they are nice and crispy so they don't get messy on your fingers. With the steak you get what you pay for. A nice steak for a decent price. All of our steaks were satisfying and cooked as requested. However some of our meals barely fit the plate. As seen in the picture I posted, i got a 14 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and veggies. My plate had zero breathing room. This meant no space for sauce or to put the fat from my ribeye. It made cutting my steak a challenge and unfortunately some of my veggies fell off the plate as a result. The rest of my party had similar issues wjth their meals. Not really sure what Outback was thinking with this philosophy. I guess they want to make the meal appear bigger than it is? We ordered curb-side pick up this evening (02/02/21) after shoveling big pile of snow. My wife had salmon and I had ribeye steak. Not really sure if the regular chef came to work today due to the snow storm, the quality of the food was like night and day and not in a good way. The steak I had was somewhat cold and extremely salty, so did the baked potato which was not only salty, but also not cooked properly. I could tell it was not cooked by the same chef last time just over the weekend when I picked up the same dish. both the steak and baked potato were cooked perfectly for me that time. My wife also said the salmon had no taste at all. The restaurant did not put utensils in the bag either. I do think there was a quality control issue with the restaurant. I feel like it's time to review again. My SO and I go here once every few weeks to have a night out. We both have young kids so it's nice to unwind. Somehow we always manage to pick nights that Joe C. is working. We always request him. He just makes our night out that much better. Even when Joe is busy and we end up getting him double sat because we requested him he is still on the top of his game. He's always there with a refill of bloomin onion sauce and glasses of water. He's funny and witty while still remaining professional and we really appreciate that! We've had him as our server at least 5 times now and even though he knows that we request him because he's great he still treats us like we're new customers. Oh also the food is always good. Steaks are always cooked perfectly. The drinks are great. I got something cute in a mason jar that was fruity and delicious and SO got a Blue Moon. But I really just wanted to post another review about how much we appreciate Joe C. You can get good food at a fair few places in the area but great servers are hard to come by. I ordered filet and lobster tail and when it came out the filet was the smallest piece of meat on a plate I have ever seen. When I pointed out to the waiter he argued with me, like I am a complete idiot, telling me it is the normal 6 ounce. Having had it in the past several times, it was nowhere near the normal size. Instead of saying I will get you another piece, or sending the manager over, he asked if I wanted to order another dinner. Perhaps he was an owner and did not want to give out a free tiny piece of filet mignon to make up the difference in size. After eating my dinner, I was still hungry so I was hoping to order a dessert. Instead the waiter took the dishes off the table and came back and threw the check on the table! In one of the few times I have ever complained I asked the 3 people who where hanging out all night at the reception desk if the manager was in the restaurant. One of the people at the reception desk responded she was the manager. When I told her what happened all she did was put her head down in shame. I said I understand everyone uses covid as an excuse but what happened cannot be blamed on covid, she said, and it was the only thing she said, there are no excuses. As I told her "it all starts at the top"- clearly she lacks the skills to be a manager and has not properly trained the staff. Her inability to be a manager was clearly shown by the fact that she was at the reception desk the whole time, being a hostess instead of a manager; simply stated: she is hiding from her manager duties by being the hostess. Proper management skills would dictate she "touches" each table to be sure all is correct and satisfactory to the customers, instead of acting as the head hostess. read more
