Alice Springs Chicken® (5 oz)
Seneca D.

I ordered Outback for lunch and I decided to try something different. My order was ready on time for pickup and it was fresh and hot. I tried the Alice Springs Chicken lunch combo with a baked potato and it was delicious. I would have liked more toppings for my baked potato but it was still good. They were kind enough to offer me a drink while I waited, which I appreciated. I ordered the carrot cake for dessert and it was delicious, and tasted fresh and homemade.

Food was salty. Other than that it was basic. The price is pretty affordable. $8 drinks are good. Had the blueberry lemonade, it was a tad too sweet but it looked pretty. Had the 3 course meal- baked potato soup, sirloin and fries and cheesecake. Steak was a little gristly. Lauren was out server and gave us 10/10 service despite being very busy.

We stopped here for the first time for a late lunch on Saturday and it was pretty quiet. I remembered the fries from a while back (I haven't visited in years) and I was a little disappointed because I remember them being amazing but they really weren't... the cheese was a bit hard & tasteless & they just didn't look the same. My daughter got the kids sirloin & it was also tasteless & a bit dry. My son got the Toowoomba Salmon & that was okay. I got the burger & it was pretty tasteless, Hobdaddy's close by are way better & a bit cheaper. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I don't think we will return even though the staff were all super nice & the ambiance was great & very clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Queensland Chicken & Shrimp Pasta

Outback used to be one of my favorite chain restaurants growing up, but I think I may have finally out grown them. Decided to come here for reasonably priced dinner one night that we didn't want to cook. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was busy at the time so we sat at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar wasn't very clean, but we opted not to wait for a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the queensland chicken and shrimp pasta and it just wasn't hitting as I thought it would. Pretty bland overall, although the chicken and shrimp were cooked well. It needed a little more flavor in my opinion. I unfortunately don't see myself coming back here.

Limited time special menu

Came here for their limited special. The food was very dense. We took our cheesecakes to go because we were just stuffed. The French onion soup was good, not salty and had gooey cheese. The wedge salad was a lot bigger than I remembered but was delish. The coconut shrimp gave that nice coconut savory crunch with the sweet dipping sauce. The chicken was heavily season so lots of flavors ! The sweet potato was very soft. Service was alright. It was a Wednesday night and I think they underestimated how many people came for dinner. We had multiple people come check on us to make sure we are taken care of, a bit odd for this type of place but not a stranger to it. The table and chairs are clean. Place wasn't too loud. Parking is free out front. If you are taking grand parkway to here, you can stay on the feeder road the whole time to avoid Eztag. Google maps doesn't show this for some reason.

The staff here are super friendly and frequently check up on you. Had a great experience today and our food was amazing. Wife did the surf and turf special. My son ordered the bloom burger or something and it looked great. My steak was cooked to perfection. Chili could have been a bit hotter but still tastes great regardless. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Over all food was great and very little noise in the dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is our new go-to Outback steak house even tho it's a bit further of a drive.

Sunday night, no crowd, got seated immediately. Very friendly service all around although there were plenty errors. I ordered the 3 course meal, the potato soup, the 6 oz sirloin steak, the ny cheesecake with raspberry sauce and shiraz wine. The waiter said my meals come meal came with 2 appetizers... it doesn't say so but he insisted. So I added the walnut blue cheese chopped salad. My daughter had the jr sirloin steak With fries and strawberry lemonade. We also got the bread. My daughter ate almost all my baked potatoes soup but she complained her steak was too spicy-- they added too much pepper to her steak. Mine was too peppery too and too salty. I ate mine. We told the waiter and he remade her plate. The chopped salad was delicious. Oh the soup and salad came out first so by the time the steak came out, I had the steak by itself. It was weird to me to do that and not have any sides. Anyway, when the bill came out , they forgot to comp one of the kid's steaks bc they redid it and charged me for both of my daughter's steaks. The manager fixed that. Then I noticed the Cobb salad was an extra $2.99 and not actually included in the 3 course meal. Apparently you do only get 1 appetizer like I had thought. I just let that be. Anyway overall I enjoyed my meal and my daughter is willing to come back, as long as they don't put so much pepper on a kid's jr steak.

Went on a busy Saturday night and people were parked in the grass. Sat at the bar with my fiancé since we didn't want to wait on a table. Bar tenders were super nice and friendly. My fiancé and I both got the pasta and unfortunately it was lacking in sauce and seasoning. The shrimp was seasoned pretty well.

First off, let me begin with Lone Star is still a smoking bar. If this works for you then continue…read morereading. My friend introduced me to Lone Star during one of my Texas trips. I've only been here twice and had a great time. Everyone is super friendly with good food, good service and afforable prices. As you approach Lone Star there's patio seating in front of the restaurant. You'll enter through a large, blue arch doorway with stained glass and 2 large Texas stars on each door panel. Very Texan feeling. The interior decor resembles an old saloon with lots of wood, tall 4-top tables and soft lighting. Unfortunately, the tables are not very conducive for wheelchairs. The bar area is U-shaped with many seats and friendly bartenders. There is a second floor that can be reserved and 2 pool tables for your enjoyment. Moving on to the food. Lone Star has an affordable daily $5 lunch menu Mon. - Fri. 11am - 4:00pm with 6 selections on the lunch menu. All include a side & choice of tea or soda. The $5 selection includes grilled cheese, 1/2 chicken or tuna salad, a hot dog, chicken tender combo, a grilled chicken Santa Fe plate or 5 wings combo w/5 sauces. I selected the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich and house salad. The chicken salad sandwich was served on lightly toasted healthnut bread with crisp lettuce & a sweet tomato. The chicken salad was good and ran on the sweeter side which I don't mind. (FYI, no egg, thank you). The generous portion of salad was excellent with fresh tomatoes, crisp cucumbers and onions with the lettuce chopped on the smaller side which I find much easier to eat. I also ordered a small order of homemade onion rings ($1.99). They were very tasty with the texture of onion strings. I would order all again. For entertainment they have live music on certain nights and a bar version of Bingo on Wednesday nights. I heard the Bingo is tons of fun. Check out their website for details. I'm sure I'll be back during one of my next visits to Rosenberg/Richmond. Hopefully for live music or Bingo night.

Then the Texas cheesesteak and fries- came on a single hot dog bun cut in half, asked for extra cheese on it and couldn't even tell if there was any cheese at all, this to was $13.75, not worth the price. Now the soda, ice cream, drinks were great. But they are a bit pricey as well. For a soda with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream was $8.25. In all the restaurants is cozy and very cold (take a jacket). The safe or server was very friendly. Any question we had they was answered. Also make sure to carry cash with you. They will charge you 3% to use your card. They place this notice below on the receipt and also underneath the receipt on the black card holder.

Hadn't been there in a while because of the food! But they posted a new cook in the kitchen so thought we try it out! My wife and I were hoping for the best, but it didn't happen! My wife ordered a sugar free lemonade, my aunt and I ordered a lime malt shake, my cousin ordered a chocolate banana shake and his wife ordered the strawberry banana shake! Well the lime malt shake really had no lime flavor. All you tasted was the malt! Everyone else drinks were good! Then we ordered our lunches! My wife ordered chicken fingers and sweet potato fries! My cousin and his wife Ora club sandwich on rye and was told the only have white or wheat for the order! The wanted to split the sandwich and chips in half to share and they did! My aunt ordered the 2 chili hot dogs with fries. I ordered the patty melt with fries! Well my wife chicken tenders were good but the sweet potatoes were barely warm! Strike One! My cousin and his wife got the Club with chips and 2 baskets so the could share! But the Club wasn't a traditional club it was just a 2 slice wheat bread sandwich! No 3rd slice of bread in between! Second Strike! My Aunt 2 coney dogs were good and also the fries were good! A Ball! I got my patty melt on marble rye, a hamburger patty that was very dry! Not many grilled onions on the first half of the sandwich and cheese on it(why) but no Thousand Island Dressing! So I ask why there was no Thousand Island's Dressing and was told they don't put that on their Patty melts! Strike Three! Very disappointed and a little embarrassed with the food and the choice of going there! Needless to say we won't recommend this place and be coming back here again! The service was good but didn't make up for the bad food! They really need to get there act together!
