I always have great food and service at Outback Steakhouse, however , I decided to order takeout on 9-14. I ordered the wedge salad, a bowl and a cup of the potato soup. When I opened the salad, there was no salad dressing, the cup of soup had about 1 inch of watery soup with no potatoes at all. The bowl of soup was also very bland . I was really livid. I called and spoke to the manager, and she was sorry and said next time I go in, they will replace my order. I wanted my food when I got it! Not days or weeks later..... never will I order takeout again. So never got any satisfaction from this Outback. read more

I would recommend this restaurant for a down under dining experience. Even though I sat at the bar I was still provided a very pleasant full dining experience; special thanks to Damiana G. Very attentive and truly went the extra mile for me and my guest. Also, Damiana makes a good drink and I really admired how clean and welcoming the bar top was. The kitchen really impressed with their quick turn times. The food was very tasty; although everything was cooked very well, I would've liked the steak to be a little more seasoned with some brighter flavors... but I respect the Aussie flavors and approach. Food was good. Service initially great, but quickly came to a lull. And was not a full house. Do not know if they were short handed (did not appear so). Several things in our order was wrong. So what a waste of food which kills me when there are people starving. But because we waited so long we just dealt with it. I don't frequent Outback, but while on a work trip, it was convenient, so, I decided to give it a try It was a Thursday night, and the restaurant was almost completely empty. I thought the ambiance was nice. The decor and lighting was inviting. The establishment seemed clean The food was pretty good. It came out in a timely manner, and everything was relatively tasty The staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was a little unprofessional. I sat at the bar and several employees just hovered near the bar. They were there the entire time. Management did the same. I think they were doing bar inventory, but I could overhear just about all the conversations and it felt somewhat uncomfortable Also, there were times where I would just sit there waiting for the ticket or water or something for a long time before anyone would notice. Again, everyone was just standing around, so, it felt like I was being ignored. I also didn't like everyone just standing around. I'm not exaggerating when I say at one point there were at least 10 employees just standing around the bar Now, my server was very nice and helpful. So I had the pleasure of trying Outback Steakhouse on a Monday night near closing and actually really enjoyed it! I was surprised to see the restaurant not having that many people but was more than grateful than anything not having to wait a long time. The timing of the food being ready and efficient movement from our waiter was really quick and on it. For example, Charles was attentive on the refills and anything we needed was done in a flash! The server was also very on point and kind. Customer service there is definitely up to par. The food was very tasty, I enjoyed the Lobster Macaroni and my Toowoomba Salmon was delicious as well. The appetizers Coconut Shrimp and Blooming Onion were so addictive, we had to get another of them! Overall, I would recommend trying this chill & relaxing atmosphere. Came around 2pm and it was pretty slow/quiet. Clean space everywhere I looked (even the restrooms lol) I truly enjoy visiting places where we could see that the employees are also happy. You could see the teamwork, hear the laughs, but also know we are getting taken care of. We were immediately greeted with open doors and smiles . We were sat and then greeted by Rose. She was Amazing!!! She asked the perfect questions leaving no room for error. She followed up after being served, making sure we were set, always popping by in a timely fashion, oooh and she had our drinks filled. Big Kudos Food was yummy. Juicy chicken and burger. Alright this place HAS TI HAVE 5 STARS the food is Gordan Ramsys PERFECT MEAL the tea and drinks AMAZING and it was pretty quiet and not that many people here so the time to get food adding everything up in under at least 40 mins for everything for a 3 person family and if you eating alone well maybe like 20 mins TOTAL and the music playing weren't bad choices and it wasn't too loud so you can still have conversations! Tried to get dinner here on monday night. Doors were open, but the hostess told me they closed early due to slow business: it was minutes before 10 pm. Okay, we left and went elsewhere. I really wanted to try that lobster deal, though. So, we stopped in yesterday for lunch, so we wouldn't risk another early closing. Food was satisfying. The lobster was delicious, but steak a little flavorless and tough, veggies also hard and bland: needs a little work: hey, can't beat it for $19.99, though. The atmosphere was nice and clean, and our young server, I'm hardly good at remembering names, was very kind and attentive. Food is always great at outback always is fresh and hot. just never brought out by server, we barely saw him our entire visit. we did go in an hour before closing so i did keep that in mind so we were willing to order everything all at once to get it in but we couldn't. we waited for more than 15 minutes to order our food and w the meal deal we got a dessert as well and had to wait until after closing to order it because we couldn't find out server. First time here, got seated quickly, and loved the Christmas decor and lighting. Our Appetizer was really good, had a little spice in it that I loved. Entree was good, everything does have a spice to it but it's not bad it's just different. Not bland for sure. We decided to come to Outback tonight for dinner, newly open but took our chances. We started off with the coconut shrimp which was delicious. We both had the classic prime rib, both were cook to perfection! The butter cake was delicious which paired really well with my Pinot Noir. I am giving them 3 stars because the asparagus was over cook and the au jus was extremely salty and a manager never came to our table to check on our meal. Our server Gabby was gracious and helpful, but unfortunately towards the end she crashed, took over 10 minutes to get us our receipt and we had to get the manager to check us out. Just came back from having dinner at the Outback Steakhouse at brook city base and I wasn't pleased with my dish. I had the kings land steak and shrimp. The shrimp was over seasoned the steak was under seasoned and the fettuccine wasn't creamy enough.
