The food and service was outstanding, food arrived hot with no issues and our waitress Angela was very intentive in taking our order and making sure we had everything we needed, Fantastic. Management even came by to our table to be sure we had everything we need. This place obviously takes pride in making sure that there customer's needs are met in every way. Good job team

The food was really good. The staff was good and very accommodating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is the lady who was cursing up a storm back at the bar drinking more drinks and no one cares really control your guests

We sat down at 840pm on a Wednesday night eating my food well trying and there is a group of people eating and a drunk women at the bar who should have been cut off went over to another table and was cursing up a storm the waiters or waitresses should have told her to respectfully keep her voice down and have respect for the people eating around her . This place is dead and It took over an hour to get our food. Food is good no complaints but the people working here should have respect for the other guests eating around this place . [[HIGHLIGHT]]A drunk lady being rude just caused me to have a terrible experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Melbourne Porterhouse* 22 oz.

We came at 6:40 and we had to wait 35 minutes to get in. In that time we went stores around there for shopping. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very crowded at the start and it died down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the blumin onion for a starter and I had a Melbourne Porterhouse, it was medium rare as i ordered it and was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place in general was nice and had nice decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I say 4 stars

The serving was larger than I imagined! Perfect to share. At $17, the portion was right. For our entree, we got the rib eye for two cooked medium. Delicious!!! Sides of creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The creamed spinach is veryyyy creamy, I almost wish there was more spinach but I can't complain because I love the cream. Mashed potatoes were tasty too. For dessert we got the hazelnut gelato. It had an ever so slight crunch to it which was SO GOOD. The only thing that I would love to see is a more robust wine selection. The server was attentive and made sure to ask if everything was okay several times throughout our visit. Happy I found this place, will be back again.

No bother, the lady upfront was nothing but kind. As we were seated, we were immediately taken care of. They give sour dough bread and butter to start, it was very good. I really liked my NY strip steak, it was well seasoned and fatty which was also good. I asked for a medium rare steak and they delivered as requested! As for their garlic bread, it's done on Italian bread and I absolutely loved it. A bit overdone on the baking, but delicious regardless. The burger was larger than I expected, and came with a crab cake too. Would definitely come again for their cuts of meat! What stood out to me the most was my kind server. Since I loved the sour dough and butter so much I asked for some to go. She then later came back with a whole loaf for me to take home!! I think her name was Darcy- she was so kind and I really appreciated the gesture. It's service like that which would bring customers to dine in more often, as I will for sure. Only issue at the end was the choice of payment being apple-pay. One server claimed they didn't take it, and Darcy corrected this and helped us to pay. Clear clarification would be greatly appreciated among all employees, rather than being told 2 different things. Great food, selective service, loved their interior design, and their bathroom was very well kept up as well.

I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.

When we finally sat, a few things on the menu stood out more than others. The bread service was good, though the "butter" felt more like a roux-style spread than a traditional butter and I wasn't a fan. The double baked potato was an absolute must-have...rich, flavorful, and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The porterhouse, while cooked perfect, fell a little flat for me and didn't quite have the wow factor I expected but one could say that's how a steak is supposed to be- well cooked and the cut as the flavorful star. For appetizers, we got zucchini chips, fried calamari and mussels. The calamari was fried too hard and it had a very salty, spicy Chilean type sauce over it. The zucchini chips were thinly sliced, lightly battered with Parmesan cheese sprinkled over them. They were decent but nothing to write home about. In fact, after having about six or seven of the zucchini chips I began to experience heartburn from the grease. For entrees, my husband had the chicken parm. He said it was too thick and should have been flattened more before frying. It was also very breaded. My brother-in-law ordered the chicken and waffles and he said the chicken tasted day old so after having a bite of one piece of the chicken he pushed the chicken aside and called it a day. I called the waiter over and informed him about the chicken tasting day old. He didn't try to change it out or take it off the bill or get a manager. He just apologized by saying I'm sorry. My crab Mac and Cheese was decent. It wasn't seasoned the way I would have liked but the huge, plentiful chunks of crab made up for that. I ate a third of my dish and packed the rest for home where I will doctor it up to my taste. I've never been to this particular restaurant before. The only reason we came today is because my brother-in-law was here on business and staying at a hotel in the area.

Interior design is so aesthetically pretty and provides a wonderful and elegant dining experience!…read moreThe service provided by Behrouz was attentive, friendly, and warm, which definitely helped enhance the dining experience! Now onto the main topic, the food: This is by far one of the better middle eastern/seafood restaurant in all of Staten Island! The appetizers that were amazing were the chargrilled octopus, which is a MUST-GET, and the half dozen oysters which was by far one of the sweetest oysters we ever had (it was so good we ordered 3 orders!) The tuna tartare, calamari, and lobster bisque were all decent but nothing too special. For entree, the lobster pasta was perhaps one of the best tomato based pasta I ever had! Although the amount of lobster in the dish was on the smaller amount for its price, the flavor was so savory, sweet, and perfectly tangy, highly recommend it! The sea bass was good according to my family, but the flavor was on the milder side in my opinion; they liked it nonetheless so perhaps it's just a personal preference at this point. The lamb shank I would not get due to how overpowering it was; the sauce was salty and intense, where it overwhelmed every part of the dish. It was unfortunate because the lamb was so tender and had a nice proportion between its meatiness and its fat content. The dry aged steak was only okay too, since the spinach was so watery it soaked the steak in its liquid (as you can see from the photo), which detracted from the dish unfortunately. Overall it was a decent dining experience, where some were amazing and others were less so. It's a pricey dining experience but if you get all the right dishes, it's worth the price tag! Definitely recommend giving Sea Bar a try and I can't wait to come back again one day to give them the five stars I know they can definitely accomplish! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

There's nothing "authentic " about the food here. Started with fried chicken wings and a focaccia. One wing was tasted and sent the rest back they were just not good . When I told the waiter we didn't like them instead of asking what was wrong he asked if they were cold. Which means they aren't made fresh . First red flag Focaccia came out and wasn't focaccia it was a thin crust pizza style very dry very hard not good . We picked at it but definitely didn't finish it . I wanted chicken parmigiana because I mean an authentic Italian restaurant can't mess that up right ? The food came out room temperature To about lukewarm which means the food isn't freshly made. I ordered roasted potatoes instead of pasta . The roasted potatoes had no flavor at all even after I added salt pepper and garlic it still was on the bland side . The chicken cutlet was ok the cheese was the best part . Food wasn't hot . My friend ordered a portofino sandwich minus the eggplant and fries . She stated the fires tasted like McDonalds fries and the sandwich was underwhelming. The prosciutto wasn't salty and there was extra extra peppers maybe because she omitted the eggplant. Either way the best part of this visit was the valet guy ! The restaurant is nice the decor is nice lots of tvs showing different things but the food isn't good and I can't see what everybody is raving about. Save your money or find a better restaurant.
