    Bloomin' Onion®
    Kristine A.

We were greeted and seated very quickly by the hostess. We ordered the blooming onion as an appetizer. First time having it and it was delicious. I definitely understand why this is a staple item on the menu. For the entrees we order the 6oz sirloin with the steak house baked potato and steakhouse mac and cheese as well as the sirloin and alice spring chicken with fries and a cesar salad. The food was great, however we couldn't finish and packed up some to do. The place was nice and pretty quiet when we went. Overall good time.

We hadn't been here for a while, but decided to spend our anniversary dinner at the outback. Did not regret our selection. The food is still excellent, portions are great and the prices are better than so many other places. Including cocktails that were delicious. My wife had an entrée sized coconut, shrimp, enough shrimp for three people; and I had the steakhouse salad, which is so good, especially when I put pieces of what was left of our Bloomin onion appetizer in it.

It's a moderate priced national chain steakhouse. That being said the Bloomin Onion is great but you need more than two people to eat it. Coconut shrimp were good too. The ribeye price reflects the size, but was very tasty. If you like a healthy pour for your drinks come thirsty. Great bartenders. Service was fair. Restaurant was fairly clean. It's not a 4 or 5 star steakhouse, and yet the meal was good and the price right. Lugers, Bryant & Copper or Outback? I'm not crazy the other two and many others are far better. But sometimes you don't want to decide between a car payment and a steak dinner. That's a good time to try Outback.

This is a gentleman's C. The porterhouse steak was tough and dry and o ordered it medium but it came back medium rare. It was under seasoned too. They fixed the temperature but not the taste. Listen, for the price I'm not sure you can expect more...but I did. The pecan Caesar was awesome! A little too much dressing and less than crisp lettuce but the flavors were tremendous! The potato was average but no better. It was a a little small for a steakhouse. The onions were fine as were the mushrooms...not great but not terrible. A bit noisy and the chairs were uncushioned! .

Almost forgot to take a photo, sorry eating in progress.

Dinner with a co worker. Sat at bar. Bar tender female with dark long hair was less than charming. She did her job but not so enthusiastic. I had a sirloin with grilled shrimp. Sides of broccoli and a salad. The meal was very good , only issue the broccoli was rather aged and had black marks on the stem where the broccoli was cut. This occurs when the broccoli gets old.

My son wanted to come here with his grandparents to celebrate his birthday so we came for an early dinner on a Saturday around 4 pm. The place was still empty & a reservation was probably not needed even though I did make one. Our server, I forgot her name, curly long hair, always smiling & super sweet, was amazing and all the staff were very friendly & welcoming as well, which is why I gave an extra star. As for the food, we ordered the bloomin' onion, french onion soup, tasmanian chili, ribeye, prime rib, grilled salmon, 2 outbacker burgers and a mac 'n cheese kid's meal. Everything came out fairly quick & cooked well. However, the onion soup, chili, ribeye, salmon and mashed potatoes were extremely salty. I requested medium rare for the ribeye but it's more like medium. The burgers were good, prime rib was decent and salmon was perfectly grilled. We weren't really a fan of the bloomin' onions- they were greasy and just not that great. Overall, we had a good experience & will definitely be back again soon!

    Welcome to outback!

Every once in a while you get to be part of the perfect experience. visit to Outback was no exception. I was seriously impressed with the team here. From the moment we walked in until we sat down, ate and ultimately left. we were greeted with a big smile at the door. The hostess politely asked us to have a seat by the door and told us our table would be ready very soon.... It was. we were immediately greeted by our waiter who brought us the house bread and butter. He came back a few minutes later to take our order. - Onion Soup - My wife likes the cheese well done and it was prepared perfectly. I had some and found it tasty and rich, leaving me wanting more. Prepared with a delicious beef stock. - Sirloin Steak for my wife. She likes it really well done (ugh) but he brought it over just a tad below. She really enjoyed it. Tasty, well cooked, tender and savory. She also had the grilled asparagus with was very good. - Baby Back Ribs - I just loved these. They were cooked perfectly and were tender-tasty and plentiful. My side was the steak-house mac and cheese. This was perfect. Great noodles and plenty of thick-creamy-tasty cheese. Overall, I was totally impressed with this meal and dining experience. The waiter was always around and keeping an eye out. The restaurant was very busy with both families and date-night couples. They also have a terrific bar where many peole come to hang out and watch some TV. They defianely do it well here. KUDOs to the team at Outback Steakhouse.

I even received a rose for the occasion! However, we waited 10 minutes before someone finally approached us and asked, 'Is anyone helping you? Are you okay with tap water?' I understand it was a busy Valentine's Day weekend, but I expected a proper greeting rather than just being asked about tap water. When she brought the water, she asked if it was our first time. We said yes, expecting a brief explanation of the restaurant's concept. Instead, she just said, 'Technically, the meats will come to you, and you can go to the market and get anything you want. That's our special for tonight, you can go ahead and head over to the marketplace.' We went to the 'marketplace,' and it was delicious! We tried several items, and everything was tasty and fresh. Salads. Cold cuts. Rice. Beans. Zero complaints there. Back at the table, the gauchos began bringing the meats--filet mignon, picanha, sausage, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service, however, stayed subpar. My mango caipirinha arrived five minutes later, but my husband's Coke never showed up. We waited all dinner for it and never received it. Our waitress only came back once because we flagged her down for water, and then again for the check. Even the tables around us were wondering where she was. This was extremely disappointing!!! Zero smiles or a nice tone from Her. The food was delicious (5 stars), but the service she provided was definitely 0 stars. I want to come back for the food, but the service is making me think twice.

We've always loved his cooking and have since followed him to Monroe's while still frequenting Tesoro's. We started our dinner with an Appetizer of Rice Balls followed by an entree of Salmon in Orange sauce for my partner, and Shrimp & Clam Fra Diavolo over Linguine for myself. As we started to order our choices they also informed us they had initiated a new Price Fixe menu in case we decided to change. We stuck with our original choices but decided after perusing the Price Fixe menu we have to come back very shortly as it offers a great value. What's different about Monroe's is that it's offered 7 days a week except holidays, versus other restaurants that tend to limit the days or hours you can order off a Price fixe menu. It s a good deal at $39.95 for 4-Courses starting with a variety of Appetizers, followed by a choice of two salads, multiple Entrée choices including Pastas, various Chicken dishes, Skirt Steak, Port Chop or Pork Medallions, and Seafood including Red Snapper, Salmon, or Sole. Finishing up with a choice of several desserts to choose from. A complimentary glass of Wine or Beer to also accompany your meal. IMO can't beat the value for 4 courses @ $39.95 and available 7 days a week except for Holidays.

Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.

I ordered the mixed chicken and lamb over rice with a side of French fries, loaded with both white sauce and barbecue sauce. The platter was massive and beautifully layered. The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with warm spices, while the lamb was perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced, and had that rich, savory flavor that pairs so well with the fluffy, flavorful rice. The French fries were crispy and mixed right in, adding great texture. I loved the contrast between the cool, creamy garlic white sauce and the smoky, tangy barbecue sauce. They complemented the meat perfectly and I ended up drizzling extra on every bite. The portion was so generous I could barely finish it, but it made for an amazing lunch the next day too. I also got the lamb gyro with white sauce on the side. The pita was soft and warm, stuffed generously with thinly sliced, marinated lamb that was crispy on the edges and super flavorful. Fresh tomatoes, onions, and lettuce added a nice crunch, and that signature creamy white sauce tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was juicy, savory, and downright addictive. Everything tasted fresh, made to order, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. This is my new go-to spot for halal food on Long Island. The restaurant has a beautiful, bright, modern atmosphere that feels much more upscale than its surroundings. Based on other reviews, the standout dishes seemed to be the grilled Spanish octopus and the SB Smash Burger, so I ordered both. Unfortunately, the execution fell short in several areas. The East Coast oysters arrived with mignonette but without horseradish or oyster forks--small details, but noticeable oversights. The oysters, octopus, and burger were all tasty, but the presentation of octopus and burger was surprisingly sloppy, as though little attention had been paid when the dishes left the kitchen. The bar also was understaffed. A single bartender was serving both the bar and the entire dining room, which led to waits for drinks. My bartender was friendly, attentive, and worked hard, but one person simply wasn't enough. I finished with the Key Lime Custard, which had what appeared to be a layer of shredded cereal on the bottom. I wasn't sure what it was. The dessert itself was enjoyable, though I think a base of toasted sliced almonds with a few fried blueberries on top of it would have added better texture and complemented the flavors more effectively. One nice perk is the validated valet parking, for a reduced fee, which makes arriving and leaving especially convenient given the mall location. The whiskey selection could also be improved by adding a few more interesting, off-the-beaten-path single malts or blends. Overall, the kitchen shows promise! And perhaps I came on an off night. With better attention to presentation, appropriate bar staffing, and a more adventurous choice of spirits, Small Batch could deliver an experience that better matches its reputation.
