Though this place can be priced a little higher than other breakfast places, you can taste the quality of ingredients. My dad and I typically go during an oil change at the dealership, and have never had a bad meal. Service is always quick, friendly, and never a empty coffee cup - keep the caffeine coming! Started out with flight of mimosas. Just the fact that they have a flight of mimosas is awesome. Our favorite was the peach Mamosa. Didn't care for the cranberry lime. I had the corned beef hash. We came in on sunday mid day, and got seated quickly. Service is top notch!!! Excellent service!!! Our bacon bloody, and viva maria came out so fast, and they were delicious!!! We ordered The steak and egg, and chicken fried steak. Both meals came out super fast, hot, fresh, amazing tasty!!! The toast with the chicken fried steak was too pale though; not toasted at all really, but the jam with it was delicious!! My steak n eggs was so perfect, but my egg order was wrong, but very quickly made right!! Also, was given food, but no silverware, so we had to go get some up front. Sure they did not film here but the menu is the same. Atmosphere - The classic bright egg yolk yellow for the interior design with the retro vibe. The sun was blasting in this morning and they had no blinds on the windows. I normally sit across from my wife but today we sat next to each other with our backs to the window. Food - Drink - Black coffee for me. Breakfast - The top of the menu is all about their TV appearances there food appeared on. This is what happens when you have a celebrity chef. I strayed this morning from the Triple D items. The Golden Waffle Dogs were screaming for my attention. Those appeared on Best Thing I Ever Ate. The plump sausages battered in waffle mixed and deep fried and served like a corn dog. I did use a fork and knife. That sausage was seasoned so well, my mouth is watering now. Service - Excellent. I did notice after a while our server was not wearing a tee shirt from Over Easy like most of the staff. She was great always making sure were taken care of. Food was mediocre or average at best but the worst part was a weight staff that lacks training and pays little attention to the customer. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere. On two separate occasions the staff forgot to bring silverware for example and if you didn't push the issue you wouldn't get refills on anything. These are simple things. read more

My husband and I had a delicious brunch from Over Easy this past weekend. This was the first time we tried ordering from this branch. Even though the star rating was not high, I noticed that it wasn't really related to food so we decided to go for it. I ordered through Yelp. My husband and I both wanted a breakfast burrito. You can choose 3 additional ingredients in your burrito, most are free. I added mushroom, green peppers and spinach to mine and my husband added Swiss cheese, mushroom and spinach. I also ordered lemon ricotta pancakes. When the order was confirmed, the estimated pick up time was anywhere between 45 min - 1 hour. Having ordered multiple times now through Yelp, I knew this was over estimated and I asked my husband to just get ready and leave as soon as he can. When he got the there about 40 mi. after ordering, the food was ready. The burritos (as I expected) were very tasty. They are big and stuffed with delicious ingredients such as pico, hash brown potatoes, and the veggies that we chose. They put chelulah sauce packets with the food and it actually made the food even more flavorful. The burrito is served with a side of fruit. My husband had his fruit but I wanted to save space for the lemon ricotta pancake so I skipped the side. And then.. we had the pancakes. Let me say one thing, those are HANDS DOWN, the best lemon ricotta pancakes I have ever had! The lemon flavor was just enough to make this absolutely delicious! They added lemon zest too which made this pancake extra special. The syrup did not taste like a cheap brand (at least that's what it tasted like) and the fruit on top were just a perfect addition. The menu is one of great abundance. From the simple to the extravagant! They offer every breakfast combination you can imagine. I had the best corn beef and hash with eggs in quite some time. While others enjoyed the crunch and sweetness of the chicken and waffles. Their drinks are also of great quality, from the variety of brunch mimosas to their cold brew coffee you'll find yourself enjoying them equally. We ordered Over Easy for delivery. This was our first time eating here, despite how long we've been driving past. Mr. P was worried about getting cold, soggy food being that the drive was around 10 minutes. I'm happy to report, that wasn't the case. I will say that ordering from a delivery app is a bit confusing, since the menu is quite large, and none of the entrees give you any kind of description or ingredients. I had to switch back and forth between the online menu and the app just to see what I might be ordering. Mr. P wanted some corned beef hash, crispy (and that's an option!), with crispy hash browns, toast and crispy bacon. The hash wasn't crispy, in fact, it didn't look really cooked to me, but he said it was delicious. Everything else was great. I ordered the California omelette, with a side of protein pancakes and quinoa crunch. I took a leap of faith, because I had no idea what that was. The protein pancake is my new favorite thing on the planet. If it can be light, but dense and smooth yet chunky all at the same time, this cake is it. My mouth was so confused, yet delighted. The good-sized cake had nuts and probably other stuff, and was spattered with fresh berries. The best. Ever. I was so full, I saved the quinoa crunch for breakfast today. Holy guacamole! The stuff is pure unicorn magic. Quinoa is skillfully hidden amongst nuts, rolled oats, berries and maple (?). This concoction is a fantastic start to the day! It's like you just got a bowl of chocolate cake. Ok, well, almost. But it's awesome. We were extremely happy with our to-go meal from Over Easy. This was a good idea. We were looking for another spot and this popped up. We decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. Craving some good steak and eggs and we got just that. They even had Loco moco on the menu. I'll have to go back and give it a try for sure. Oh... Fresh squeezed OJ, yes please. Our server was rad! Super friendly, and on top of it. We had typed it all off with a half order of the giant cinnamon roll. Super tasty! It was fun and colorful in there. The only thing was under the middle section of booths could use a good cleaning. Regular patron, most recently to this location but the overall business' dependability is solid at each location I have been, which includes the Chandler and Dobson locations. I've explored many menu options over a variety of visits but my favorite dish is the Yogurt with Quinoa dish. It is light and filling!! Well, I'll try to say something nice about the place but it's going to be hard. The wait staff was really pleasant but that's about it. My hash browns were almost like potato chips. There was very little soft "potato" left in the pile - just pieces of over-cooked potato. I didn't think I would have to ask to have them be edible. And they were not hot when they came to the table. The eggs were good and so was the coffee and sausage. However none of it was hot when served. I had to keep asking several times for items I had ordered. The waitress was very sweet but kept forgetting things, although she was busy. There were a few other things that will cause me to stay away. I had high hopes for this place after several years away, but, alas, will not be back. read more

Popped in 12/31 for breakfast and got seated right away. There's a spacious parking lot with plenty of spaces to fill and they also had a rather large patio; I did notice space heaters, which is a big plus - but we opted to eat indoors. Our server, Matthew, came over immediately and he was a very exuberant guy. Prompt, cordial, attentive. A+ for Matthew! It was a pretty hefty menu and about the amount of food one would expect for the price. The interior is wide & spacious, no chance of over-crowding, plus it is very bright. I got the Basil Melt w/ hash browns, washing it down with a Paloma cocktail; the sammich was hot, drink was good. My only negative comment is that I feel there needed to be more of the basil. My sister got the ham steak and Irish Chai, with an English muffin. All of her items were barely look warm. When you have a room-temperature muffin and cold butter, it's annoying as hell trying to smear the butter, tearing the muffin while doing so. The restaurant on Dobson and Guadalupe. It is SO Noisy!!! Disgusting!! We stopped going here because of how bad the volume of everyone talking. We went here today just because Bisbee's was too crowded. We sat outside because it's too loud inside. Just wanted to add, I mentioned how loud it was with our server . They agreed and said it hurt their ears. I would suggest acoustic treatment be installed on the ceiling and walls to absorb some of the noise and bring the DB level down to a safe level. This is a potential safety hazard for the employees hearing. I feel The food and service is really good. If something was done to bring down the volume in the room, I would come back. read more

Breakfast places are always a big deal for me, since I rarely ever eat a full meal at breakfast time. Today, after playing an early hockey game, i decided to try out Over Easy. And boy-- was I glad I did! We arriced at 7:50am on Saturday and the place was busy, but still had a table available for my son and i to sit down without waiting. Restaurant is small but has space enough for about 16-18 well spaced tables. The staff was instantly attentive from the time we arrived until we said our goodbye. Quick and kind service, efficient refills on drinks and lots of offers to get anything we needed. The food came quicker than I expected, which worried me since that ia often the sign of prepackaged meals, but nothing could be further from the truth. I ordered the chicken fried steak and gravy with eggs, hashbrowns and wheat toast. Absolutely wow! I usually ended up disliking this kind of meal (chicken fried steak and gravy) about halfway through because the gravy is usually so heavy. But chicken fried steak and gravy at OverEasy is surprisingly flavorful and yet tastes fluffier and lighter than you expect. Still all the flavors you hope for (and some), but surprisingly not sludgy. The sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked, the hashbrowns expertly browned and even the wheat toast was amazing - they must get it fresh from a bakery! I also tried some bites from my son's meal of Chilaquiles (done Christmas style). And... again, wow! Great tastes and perfect freshness and spot-on spice level. The meals were about $13-15 each, which is certainly more than a cheap breakfast place, but the taste and quality is far far better. This is now one of my goto locations for the occasional time I decide to have breakfast full meal. Delighted to have tried it. I will be back!! read more

This is a very nice restaurant. But it's hit and miss. The food is either on or off. The other day, the chef did not know how to poach an egg. It's pretty simple to learn. Maybe management will teach him, they have a nice menu But don't always deliver I've eaten here probably two dozen times. May not be going back. I love over easy! My son and I have been coming almost every Sunday for a few years now. The food is great, it never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and inviting, but what brings us back every weekend is the service. My son is special needs and some of his stimming (stimulation ticks sue to sensory overload in load or busy environments) he does are loud high pitched outbursts so it is difficult to take him out in public. But from the 1st time we went to OE our server Mia has always treated him just like any other kiddo there. He is so comfortable there he barely does it there anymore no matter how busy they are. And if he does start to get a bit antsy, Mia is always there for some smiles and acknowledgment to ease him. I love Mia and her customer service so much we would wait as long as needed to sit in her section( tho I will be honest they are good at what they do there that the wait is never that bad.) The food and the atmosphere are amazing but hands down, Mia is the reason we keep coming back!!!! read more

Hubby's pancake was flat and under cooked? My bacon was over cooked and hard. GET rid of the cook. We go to Over Easy locations around Phoenix. This is the worst we've experienced. Crowded so had to wait. Fine (it's small so keep that in mind). Sat down and waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. Ordered drinks. A good 5 minutes later showed up and dropped them off and came back. Ordered food. It was 45 minutes from when we sat down to get our food. What's missing? Oh we have to wait to get our silverware. When we asked our server where our food was his answer was not oh I'll go check it was yeah the kitchen's been way backed up. Now bear in mind at this point the restaurant is half empty. Terrible service and moderate food. Brought check and asked if it was ok. Hubs who never ever says anything said we are not happy. His response? More reasons it was a mess.
