Our grill was changed before it even had a chance to char, and empty banchan plates disappeared within seconds. The star of the show is obviously the meat: the marinated galbi had that perfect sweet-savory punch, and the pork belly? Crispy, fatty heaven. Everything came out fast -- orders hit the table in under 5 minutes. One quick warning, though: if you're craving apps like steamed egg, order them early. We made the mistake of putting in our app order halfway through the meal, and it took nearly 25 minutes to arrive -- long after we'd finished our second round of meats. The kitchen seems to prioritize BBQ platters (which is fair), but don't expect those starters to land quickly, especially if it's busy. It's solid place. This location is new and the ventilation is great, unlike the other two Oz Korean BBQ where you go home smelling like the restaurant, although sometimes this is not necessarily a bad thing... I do want to know where the giant picture was taken in a section of their restaurant behind the bar. It is huge and contains nightlife in a city. If the manager replies back to this review with that information, I'd be grateful. I asked the servers but they had no idea. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by the hosts. I do like to check in through yelp ahead of time. Feel free to wait in the bar area and grab a drink. I ordered a Scooby Snack while I waited and loved it. Once we were seated we were able to place our order quickly and get our food in a timely manner. I really enjoyed the meats, the ramen, potstickers and toasted green beans. I was hoping to see one of our favorite servers, Jianna. She takes great care of her customers. Oz is a new Korean AYCE bbq place in Palladio. It's clean and well decorated. The place is pretty busy but they throttle the number of guests so the service remains quick. Our server was great, attentive and friendly. You can keep ordering for 2 hours, and the food is delivered quickly. The cooking takes a long time because the grill is (just being real) not very hot. Overall, the side dishes, pork and chicken are great. I enjoyed the tofu soup but it may be a bit spicy. The fried chicken was really good. The beef (especially the ribeye) had a weird texture and flavor. The Kalbi was decent but no better than the freezer isle at Trader Joe's. Most of their protein selections were good. I like the bulgogi, royal galbi and the garlic shrimp the most. Tried their baby octopus but I wonder if you could substitute the sauce with something else. Didn't really like the sauce on it. Desserts are so-so, sesame balls are very tiny and ice cream mochi was just okay. Appetizers are good though, the fried green beans and potstickers were flavorful. Good service, the waitress came by every so often when our stove was looking a little empty asking if we wanted any more proteins while their robot came to the table to deliver. I've been to Oz on Bradshaw quite a few times, so I wanted to try their Folsom location. . I got in line via yelp, and when I got to the restaurant I was checked in by Leila.. It was a short wait. I like the look of the the restaurant. It's large, very bright, and they have K-pop playing on screens on the wall. Oz on Bradshaw is a bit darker on the inside, but not in a negative way at all. My server was Miikayla,, and like everyone else, she was very friendly and helpful. The all you can eat for lunch was only $26.99, which was very reasonable. The banchan (sides) we're very good. I especially liked the noodles, and the radish. The sauce on the broccoli was also very savory and delicious. I chose two appetizers. The. Yangyum potstickers, which came in a sweet gochujang sauce. I asked, and she said it was not very spicy. It wasn't. It had a nice sweet heat that I just noticed. I also went for my old standby, the cheese, corn, which was also good. I wanted to try the steamed egg, but unlike other KBBQ places, Oz only offers it on the dinner menu. She offered it to me, but the dinner menu was an extra $10, not worth it for one item. For my first round of proteins, I ordered chadol, (brisket) the Hawaiian galbi. , and the sesame beef. The food came via the same robot they use at Bradshaw. The problem was, I specifically asked for smaller portions, so I could try more, and they brought me full-size portions. The brisket tasted good, but it was just a little bit chewy. It was also still a little bit frozen when it came to the table All of the other proteins, were tender and delicious. I loved the sauce on the marinated meats. I also had some mushrooms and pineapple, and they cooked very well on the grill. They were delicious. For my second round of proteins, I had the sweet pork and the garlic chicken. Again, everything was tender and delicious, and I loved the marinade on both of the meats. This time around, they did bring me a smaller portion as I asked. For dessert, I had the sesame balls, which had a red paste in the middle, and the taiyaki, which have a sweet filling. Both were very very good. I left stuffed and Happy. Finally made it in after hearing this location opened in Palladio, and I was really excited since Oz is already one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots. Check in through the Yelp app was super convenient, and from the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is beautiful and definitely feels like an upgrade compared to the Elk Grove and Bradshaw locations. The high ceilings and strong ventilation were noticeable in a good way. No lingering barbecue smoke at all, which made the experience much more comfortable! We were helped by our server, Michael, who was very friendly despite clearly being busy. We did the AYCE adult option ($36.99), and there were plenty of protein and appetizer choices. I really loved that they added taiyaki for dessert, it was the perfect sweet bite to cleanse the palate after all the savory food. Overall, the food selection and quality were solid and exactly what I expect from Oz. Service wise, there were a few hiccups. Since Michael was covering many tables, refills took a while, and my drink refill took close to 20 minutes. I appreciated that he eventually brought out a jug of carbonated water so I could refill myself, but it would've been more helpful earlier in the meal. There were also some issues with the soda machine. My husband's Pepsi and later Starry weren't very carbonated. Michael did check on it and even offered to comp the drinks, which we appreciated, but we declined. While the service could've been more attentive, Michael remained kind and professional throughout. Oz took over the Fire and Flame Brazilian restaurant. It's an ayce (all you can eat) set up. There are different meats you can add to the standard at an added cost. We did a yelp waitlist for reservations which was easy! Entirely party has to be present to be seated. We were seated a few minutes after arrival. Banchan side dishes shortly followed by water. Our server Carlos was good. Tables were a bit small to accommodate incoming and outgoing plates. To start you can pick 3 apps (app options are lacking) or dessert to start and 3 proteins. Banchans appeared to be prefilled, we felt bad having to keep asking for banchan fills. We wanted to try the tofu soup but could only order 1 at a time and they are kinda set up as single servings. We ordered bone in Galbi and ribeye and they were a hit. The spicy bulgogi looks like chopped meat (not great). Lettuce is offered at an added price. Dessert options were lacking with only 2 options. The sesame balls filled with red bean was better than the taiyaki filled with sweet potato filling. It was a tad too oily for us. They have sake and other drink options. IMO, If you drive out a bit towards Sac, there are many more Korean options that is worth it for us over Oz. read more

I have been here 4 times now and absolutely love it! The New York strip cooked to medium rare, the spicy bulgogi, the Cajun shrimp, etc are some of our favorites. The mango soju cocktail is soooo delicious (bit dangerous ). Service is usually good, some servers have been on top of it and others forget us until we politely wave them over. But that's no big deal because usually gets packed. Lunch time AYCE prices are so worth it!! They have a lot of other meal options too but we go for the KBBQ part of it. We came for lunch on a Friday for 4 people. We did an early check in reservation via Yelp. When we arrived it didn't seem overly busy yet we waited an additional 35 minutes to be seated.. BUT we understand with new locations there may be some hiccups. We got the all you can eat lunch for $26.99 which I found to be a fair price! We ordered and everything came out relatively fast. They also stopped by several times to ensure we didn't want additional items. Everything was delicious!!! There was even a robot that would come by and deliver some food! May I say this is the only Korean BBQ restaurant that is well lighted, you can actually see how cook your food. This was our first time in this location, great service even if they seemed very shirt staff, some customers left and didn't bother waiting for their dessert, I mean more for us, Right!. The staff were really doing their very best to catch up the demand of the customers which was very impressive, such great terms work even the supervisor was busting tables while bringing food to the table, I mean this gentlemen walked and worked on the nearby tables so much even the other staff started bringing their own customers order. The ambiance was great, restroom was clean, the floors are not slippery which is a huge plus, you can tell they were short staff and truly hoped that they are all well compensated for the hard work that they do each and every day. Thank you to the front, kitchen staff, servers and individuals that clean the tables. No hard work left unnoticed. The food was amazing, great flavor, fresh side dishes, not once was received cold appetizers, they even changed our grill almost on time, the waiter/s were so attentive we didn't really feel that they are short staff unless we started looking around like our server was covering a lot of tables and not enough staff that turns the table around for the next customers. So far, so great! Let's start by saying that when you leave this place, it will be memorable....and not for the lingering KBBQ smell in your hair and clothes. It's because of the great food, awesome staff, great new location and some new KBBQ wizardry that has the grills venting downward into the grill. This system works so well, that you wont leaving smelling like KBBQ. That is awesome and my family and I will take the trip to this location just for that reason alone. We came during their soft opening and was able to make a reservation for my party of seven people on opening Saturday evening. We did have a short wait while they setup our table, but that wasn't a big deal considering there were over twenty people outside waiting to be called for their tables. The food is basically familiar if you've been to their other locations. What's nice is the very organized an well placed booths and tables. Each table has a great view of one of many 100" TVs on the walls. We were able to watch the World Series that night. Being a soft opening, you can't really ask for a perfect dining experience, but my experience was pretty close. Sure their fryer was working overtime and waiting for fried items like Sesame Balls or Taiyaki was longer than usual, but we didn't mind while watching the ballgame. I'm sure the fryer situation will be resolved if it hasn't already been addressed. Parking could be a challenge as the lot behind the restaurant isn't that big. Just be patient. Long time Oz fanatic here! So excited about their THIRD location, well-deserved indeed! This one is bigger and brighter than ever. They did such a great job with the interior to match the grand location in the Palladio, giving it a different vibe than the other two Oz locations, but still keeping their signature touches like the waiting area bar and large party tables. The closest parking option is in the East Bidwell parking structure. I tried to join the Yelp waitlist in advance but it wouldn't allow me due to no wait, but we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, likely just to wait for a server to be ready for a table. We had a nice window half-booth seat away from most other tables so it wasn't too chaotic or loud near us. Love the gigantic TVs to watch K-pop music videos! The food quality is still top notch here, same as the delicious food you can get at the other locations! Since the last time I was at Oz, they've added on an optional upgrade for A5 Wagyu at $24.99/2 oz. This is an additional price to the regular dinner price of $36.99. The menus are easy to read and process is simple - order up to 3 appetizers/small plates and 3 proteins at a time. The servers will gauge what size orders to get based on your party size, but you can request a small/medium/large order of meat at any time. We usually do this when only one person wants a specific meat, or towards the end of our meal when we just want a small portion. Don't forget to check the back side of the menu for sauces, condiments, and side dishes that you can order again and again at any time! Overall our server was great but he did seem pretty busy! A few suggestions from our visit.. -Saw a few managers and/or hosts walking around, they would make eye contact with me but didn't stop even though we had been waiting on our server. Definitely doesn't hurt to stop by and check on tables if they need anything! -Food came out fast, thanks to their food runners and the robot! The wait time was really just to re-order meats or get refills on sides. Maybe add more servers per section based on busier times, once it's been open long enough to gauge this. This was just off my observation as a table on the opposite side of the restaurant from the kitchen. -If servers and food runners could grab empty plates any time they come by the table, it would be helpful! We don't mind the empty plates at all, but it's really just for the table space. I hated putting them on the next table over but we had no more room. Overall a continued 5+ stars to Oz! I rave about them to everyone I know and will continue to rave about their newly expanded radius in Sacramento. This isn't even a closer location to me but it's nice to have another option! Very excited to have Oz down the street! The food is delicious and I love ambiance! I've already been twice and have enjoyed it both times. Servers come out quickly and they keep the food coming as much as you want it to. Just a note they do have a robot that comes to tables with food, so make sure if they don't tell you you're table number, you ask. I have seen tables sitting there staring at the robot not realizing it's their order. I love the royal Galbi and the Oz Galbi, the shrimp is delicious and the thick and thin pork belly. If you're not familiar with Korean BBQ you do have to cook all the meat at your table, all the other sides/appetizers you don't, other than the cheese corn, that you have to put on the grill for a bit to get warm and cheesy. This was, without exaggeration, an utterly frustrating and substandard experience. The grill was absurdly small, painfully inefficient, and repeatedly shut off unless we place small meat only in the center so it will have airflow around the edge and corners. It took nearly 45 min to cook two short ribs and when the grill finally did heat up, it scorched the meat within seconds. Completely unacceptable. The food offerings were equally disappointing, no cold noodles, pork belly that was almost entirely fat, no pork cheeks. nothing remotely justified the price or the time wasted here. After 1.5hr of being shuffled between tables and dealing with a malfunctioning, on n off grill, we hadn't even managed a single proper bite of food. The staff's attempt to remedy the situation with a complimentary dessert felt more like an insult than a gesture of goodwill. Overall, this visit was profoundly disappointing, inefficient, and not worth anyone's time or money. This will absolutely be my first and last visit. read more

We arrived on time and noticed that more than one third of the restaurant was empty, yet we still had to wait at least 15 minutes to be seated. It wasn't clear what the front desk was doing, as seating took an unusually long time despite the restaurant not being busy. While waiting, we saw the reception staff slowly preparing plates and drying them with what appeared to be a dirty cloth/mop. There were visible black spots on the yellow cloth they were using, which was very off-putting and made the experience feel unpleasant from the start. It was surprising that this seemed acceptable to them. Once seated, our waiter was very nice and the food was good. This location is not where it's located in Folsom close to the El Dorado and the upper Sacramento area like lake natoma , Fair Oaks, Orangeville areas. This used to be the flame and fire location before they went under. My husband and son and I died here this past Saturday and the weight wasn't too long, but I noticed that none of the tables were full so slightly under staffing I guess? We literally waited at our table for almost 10 minutes before we came and said hi to us and brought us waters. Which was very disappointing When we did get a waiter, he was fairly fast and quick, however, upon taking my son to the restroom, the restroom are absolutely filthy, toilet paper all over the floor Doodoo scuff stains on the women's toilets two of them, I had to go to another stall to get seat covers because the one main large doll had poop all over the floor and paper all over the floor and seat covers all over the floor, and the toilet seat was dirty, another stall was also filthy, not flush toilets and it smelled really bad. I don't know what was going on with this location upon fills. I'm good with returning to the Rancho Cordova Highway 50 location that is our favorite. Food was good typical and basic just like the other location in Rancho, but if I have to choose between driving all the way to Rancho. I am going to Folsom, which is closer. This was my first time trying KBBQ and it did not disappoint!! The gyoza was delicious and there were so many meat options to choose from. My favorite was the oz galbi, the sauce was amazing. I also loved the taiyaki, am still dreaming about it. The only thing I had an issue with was the bulgogi, it just stuck to the surface and broke apart every time I tried to take it off. Because of that, it burned onto the surface and I felt like we were smoking up the whole restaurant. Won't be ordering that again. Other than that it was amazing. Great to have this over here and very good price for lunch AYCE. The food was good but the only issue I have is with the service. They slow roll you attention wise and limit the number of meats you can order at once and you have to wait a while for server to come around. Why can't you just get it freely or order more meats if you are eating more? It takes a long time and you are hungry waiting. Business strategy to force you to eat the cheaper stuff sitting in front of you and not get your fill of meat and get you all the way through the 2 hrs. Also the robot only goes to one side of the long table which is annoying to grab your order from there, why not have more servers instead of robot service where you have to grab stuff. read more

We ordered togo and the food was ok, not that flavorful. I had the bulgogi beef with rice and let me tell you that meat was like beef jerky. It was dried as a bark. I also ordered the SamgyupSal Box, the pork belly was also very dried. I don't think I will come back for orders togo. Mayne dine in the future. read more
