Walking into OZ Korean BBQ instantly brought back memories of my time in Korea. The smell of the grills, the energy in the room, and the spread of food hitting the table gave that authentic Korean BBQ vibe right away. We were greeted quickly when we walked in and seated promptly. Jena took great care of us at the start, welcoming us and giving us a quick rundown of how everything works. It made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed, especially for anyone who might be new to Korean BBQ. Once the food started coming out, it was clear this place knows how to deliver flavor. The meats were delicious and full of flavor, and the banchan (all those amazing Korean side dishes) just kept coming. Everything paired perfectly with the grill and honestly transported me right back to Korea for a moment. That's always a good sign when a place can trigger that kind of nostalgia. The only hiccup during our visit was with the orders coming out. A few times when food arrived, it wasn't exactly what we had ordered. It seemed like there may have been a little disconnect between our waitress and the kitchen. Nothing that ruined the night, but it did cause a bit of confusion at the table. What really stood out though was the professionalism of the team. We stopped what looked like a manager to help us understand some of the items that had arrived at our table. He stepped in immediately, was incredibly friendly, and took the time to explain everything. That level of service goes a long way. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, including the restrooms which were spotless. Parking nearby was easy to find and close to the entrance, which is always a bonus in a busy dining area. Even with the small ordering mix-up, the food and hospitality really stood out. If you're craving Korean BBQ in the Folsom area, this spot definitely delivers a great experience. Went to the Folsom Oz on the Saturday before Father's Day. This is a new Oz location at the Palladio. The restaurant is huge, clean, and much roomier than the Rancho Cordova location. The food is similar to the other location however, the service at the Folsom site is much improved. I also like roomier and newer location. I recommend this location. read more

I've been to Oz on Bradshaw quite a few times, so I wanted to try their Folsom location. . I got in line via yelp, and when I got to the restaurant I was checked in by Leila.. It was a short wait. I like the look of the the restaurant. It's large, very bright, and they have K-pop playing on screens on the wall. Oz on Bradshaw is a bit darker on the inside, but not in a negative way at all. My server was Miikayla,, and like everyone else, she was very friendly and helpful. The all you can eat for lunch was only $26.99, which was very reasonable. The banchan (sides) we're very good. I especially liked the noodles, and the radish. The sauce on the broccoli was also very savory and delicious. I chose two appetizers. The. Yangyum potstickers, which came in a sweet gochujang sauce. I asked, and she said it was not very spicy. It wasn't. It had a nice sweet heat that I just noticed. I also went for my old standby, the cheese, corn, which was also good. I wanted to try the steamed egg, but unlike other KBBQ places, Oz only offers it on the dinner menu. She offered it to me, but the dinner menu was an extra $10, not worth it for one item. For my first round of proteins, I ordered chadol, (brisket) the Hawaiian galbi. , and the sesame beef. The food came via the same robot they use at Bradshaw. The problem was, I specifically asked for smaller portions, so I could try more, and they brought me full-size portions. The brisket tasted good, but it was just a little bit chewy. It was also still a little bit frozen when it came to the table All of the other proteins, were tender and delicious. I loved the sauce on the marinated meats. I also had some mushrooms and pineapple, and they cooked very well on the grill. They were delicious. For my second round of proteins, I had the sweet pork and the garlic chicken. Again, everything was tender and delicious, and I loved the marinade on both of the meats. This time around, they did bring me a smaller portion as I asked. For dessert, I had the sesame balls, which had a red paste in the middle, and the taiyaki, which have a sweet filling. Both were very very good. I left stuffed and Happy. As I mentioned before, the price was very reasonable, and they do offer a military/veterans discount. I will keep coming to Oz. Thank you very much. read more

This was my first time having Korean BBQ Quality: Good. Some meats were better than others. Not the highest quality but okay. Service: Very good; the waiter was very kind, patient, aware and present with us. He also replaced the grill consistently whenever it charred too much. Ambiance: The atmosphere was fine, though I think they should change up their music to other than kpop. I was disappointed that there were no ventilation hoods for the smoke when grilling. Value for $$: Dinner was $40 a person and I honestly think the food could've passed for $30 or so. Nothing there was that deluxe for the price. Additionally, lettuce is charged for extra. 12/13/25 Overall just shy of a true 4 stars. Oz was a nice welcome to Folsom and so much closer to home for us! We were excited to come try the new Oz at Palladio with a couple of friends. Oz took over the Fire and Flame Brazilian restaurant. It's an ayce (all you can eat) set up. There are different meats you can add to the standard at an added cost. We did a yelp waitlist for reservations which was easy! Entirely party has to be present to be seated. We were seated a few minutes after arrival. Banchan side dishes shortly followed by water. Our server Carlos was good. Tables were a bit small to accommodate incoming and outgoing plates. To start you can pick 3 apps (app options are lacking) or dessert to start and 3 proteins. Banchans appeared to be prefilled, we felt bad having to keep asking for banchan fills. We wanted to try the tofu soup but could only order 1 at a time and they are kinda set up as single servings. We ordered bone in Galbi and ribeye and they were a hit. The spicy bulgogi looks like chopped meat (not great). Lettuce is offered at an added price. Dessert options were lacking with only 2 options. The sesame balls filled with red bean was better than the taiyaki filled with sweet potato filling. It was a tad too oily for us. They have sake and other drink options. IMO, If you drive out a bit towards Sac, there are many more Korean options that is worth it for us over Oz. read more

Finally made it in after hearing this location opened in Palladio, and I was really excited since Oz is already one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots. Check in through the Yelp app was super convenient, and from the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is beautiful and definitely feels like an upgrade compared to the Elk Grove and Bradshaw locations. The high ceilings and strong ventilation were noticeable in a good way. No lingering barbecue smoke at all, which made the experience much more comfortable! We were helped by our server, Michael, who was very friendly despite clearly being busy. We did the AYCE adult option ($36.99), and there were plenty of protein and appetizer choices. I really loved that they added taiyaki for dessert, it was the perfect sweet bite to cleanse the palate after all the savory food. Overall, the food selection and quality were solid and exactly what I expect from Oz. Service wise, there were a few hiccups. Since Michael was covering many tables, refills took a while, and my drink refill took close to 20 minutes. I appreciated that he eventually brought out a jug of carbonated water so I could refill myself, but it would've been more helpful earlier in the meal. There were also some issues with the soda machine. My husband's Pepsi and later Starry weren't very carbonated. Michael did check on it and even offered to comp the drinks, which we appreciated, but we declined. While the service could've been more attentive, Michael remained kind and professional throughout. I'm hopeful things will smooth out as they settle in, and I'd still come back and recommend this spot! read more

I was craving for Korean BBQ, and got to have it on my recent trip to Sac. Service was top-tier -- super attentive without hovering. Our grill was changed before it even had a chance to char, and empty banchan plates disappeared within seconds. The star of the show is obviously the meat: the marinated galbi had that perfect sweet-savory punch, and the pork belly? Crispy, fatty heaven. Everything came out fast -- orders hit the table in under 5 minutes. One quick warning, though: if you're craving apps like steamed egg, order them early. We made the mistake of putting in our app order halfway through the meal, and it took nearly 25 minutes to arrive -- long after we'd finished our second round of meats. The kitchen seems to prioritize BBQ platters (which is fair), but don't expect those starters to land quickly, especially if it's busy. It's solid place. FOOD everything was so fresh, from the meat to the veggies. huge fans of the garlic shrimp, bulgogi, and hawaiian galbi.. but you really can't go wrong with anything; it's all delicious. all the sides are fabulous, and great additions to the yummy AYCE. SERVICE when we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a very nice hostess. Nathan was our server and was attentive throughout our entire dining experience! all the staff were very kind. AMBIANCE super clean inside. bright lighting just really opens up the space. huge TVs with music videos playing all throughout! PARKING adjacent parking structure nearby. since the restaurant is located at an outdoor mall, it's nice to shop around while you wait or walk back to your car! MISC not really a place i'd recommend for vegetarians as there weren't many vegetarian options. Most of their protein selections were good. I like the bulgogi, royal galbi and the garlic shrimp the most. Tried their baby octopus but I wonder if you could substitute the sauce with something else. Didn't really like the sauce on it. Desserts are so-so, sesame balls are very tiny and ice cream mochi was just okay. Appetizers are good though, the fried green beans and potstickers were flavorful. Good service, the waitress came by every so often when our stove was looking a little empty asking if we wanted any more proteins while their robot came to the table to deliver. The food was good but I'm giving them some grace because they are new but wanted to note that some proteins seemed to be missing sauces/ingredients. We came for lunch on a Friday for 4 people. We did an early check in reservation via Yelp. When we arrived it didn't seem overly busy yet we waited an additional 35 minutes to be seated.. BUT we understand with new locations there may be some hiccups. We got the all you can eat lunch for $26.99 which I found to be a fair price! We ordered and everything came out relatively fast. They also stopped by several times to ensure we didn't want additional items. Everything was delicious!!! There was even a robot that would come by and deliver some food! The restaurant is pretty expansive inside with modern casual decor. The servers were all very courteous. The AYCE menu was simple to understand. After ordering the meats and vegetables came out really quick. It's a bit of a learning having to cook the meal yourself but I was getting the hang of it. Friendly service. Went on a weekday and there weren't too many people at that time so the server was able to check on us frequently. I chose the all you can eat option. Meat choices were plentiful and all were good. There was simply no more room to try it all but I plan to go back. The side dishes were just fine. Nothing unique if you've been to many KBBQ restaurants. I wish the broccoli side was just a little more cooked, but that's a minor issue and personal preference. Restaurant is large and they use robots to bring out some of the food which is a nice touch and something kids may enjoy. Glad Folsom finally has a Korean BBQ restaurant. So far, so great! Let's start by saying that when you leave this place, it will be memorable....and not for the lingering KBBQ smell in your hair and clothes. It's because of the great food, awesome staff, great new location and some new KBBQ wizardry that has the grills venting downward into the grill. This system works so well, that you wont leaving smelling like KBBQ. That is awesome and my family and I will take the trip to this location just for that reason alone. We came during their soft opening and was able to make a reservation for my party of seven people on opening Saturday evening. We did have a short wait while they setup our table, but that wasn't a big deal considering there were over twenty people outside waiting to be called for their tables. The food is basically familiar if you've been to their other locations. What's nice is the very organized an well placed booths and tables. Each table has a great view of one of many 100" TVs on the walls. We were able to watch the World Series that night. Being a soft opening, you can't really ask for a perfect dining experience, but my experience was pretty close. Sure their fryer was working overtime and waiting for fried items like Sesame Balls or Taiyaki was longer than usual, but we didn't mind while watching the ballgame. I'm sure the fryer situation will be resolved if it hasn't already been addressed. Parking could be a challenge as the lot behind the restaurant isn't that big. Just be patient. We love Oz AYCE Korean BBQ! We usually go to the Oz in Rancho Cordova but difficult to just drop in and get seated! Reservations definitely required to get in! We were pleased to see there is a new one at the Palladio in Folsom. Went right at lunch time me around 12:30 and the place to our surprise was almost empty! Lunch was 28.95 each compared to dinner at $38.95 or there about. Great deal! The Bulgogi and boneless Kalbi was excellent! The golchujang and lettuce leaves were expensive at $2.95 for what should be a whole head of Romaine, however were only 6-8 leaves. Better yet would have been a head of red or green leaf lettuce. The interior decor was very nice with high ceilings so one does not get smoked out by the BBQ. The service was excellent as it should be since the restaurant only had a few customers. What was really cool was the robot that serves kitchen food, side dishes and the various meats! read more

Long time Oz fanatic here! So excited about their THIRD location, well-deserved indeed! This one is bigger and brighter than ever. They did such a great job with the interior to match the grand location in the Palladio, giving it a different vibe than the other two Oz locations, but still keeping their signature touches like the waiting area bar and large party tables. The closest parking option is in the East Bidwell parking structure. I tried to join the Yelp waitlist in advance but it wouldn't allow me due to no wait, but we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, likely just to wait for a server to be ready for a table. We had a nice window half-booth seat away from most other tables so it wasn't too chaotic or loud near us. Love the gigantic TVs to watch K-pop music videos! The food quality is still top notch here, same as the delicious food you can get at the other locations! Since the last time I was at Oz, they've added on an optional upgrade for A5 Wagyu at $24.99/2 oz. This is an additional price to the regular dinner price of $36.99. The menus are easy to read and process is simple - order up to 3 appetizers/small plates and 3 proteins at a time. The servers will gauge what size orders to get based on your party size, but you can request a small/medium/large order of meat at any time. We usually do this when only one person wants a specific meat, or towards the end of our meal when we just want a small portion. Don't forget to check the back side of the menu for sauces, condiments, and side dishes that you can order again and again at any time! Overall our server was great but he did seem pretty busy! A few suggestions from our visit.. -Saw a few managers and/or hosts walking around, they would make eye contact with me but didn't stop even though we had been waiting on our server. Definitely doesn't hurt to stop by and check on tables if they need anything! -Food came out fast, thanks to their food runners and the robot! The wait time was really just to re-order meats or get refills on sides. Maybe add more servers per section based on busier times, once it's been open long enough to gauge this. This was just off my observation as a table on the opposite side of the restaurant from the kitchen. -If servers and food runners could grab empty plates any time they come by the table, it would be helpful! We don't mind the empty plates at all, but it's really just for the table space. I hated putting them on the next table over but we had no more room. Overall a continued 5+ stars to Oz! I rave about them to everyone I know and will continue to rave about their newly expanded radius in Sacramento. This isn't even a closer location to me but it's nice to have another option! May I say this is the only Korean BBQ restaurant that is well lighted, you can actually see how cook your food. This was our first time in this location, great service even if they seemed very shirt staff, some customers left and didn't bother waiting for their dessert, I mean more for us, Right!. The staff were really doing their very best to catch up the demand of the customers which was very impressive, such great terms work even the supervisor was busting tables while bringing food to the table, I mean this gentlemen walked and worked on the nearby tables so much even the other staff started bringing their own customers order. The ambiance was great, restroom was clean, the floors are not slippery which is a huge plus, you can tell they were short staff and truly hoped that they are all well compensated for the hard work that they do each and every day. Thank you to the front, kitchen staff, servers and individuals that clean the tables. No hard work left unnoticed. The food was amazing, great flavor, fresh side dishes, not once was received cold appetizers, they even changed our grill almost on time, the waiter/s were so attentive we didn't really feel that they are short staff unless we started looking around like our server was covering a lot of tables and not enough staff that turns the table around for the next customers.
