I just moved close by and tried takeout tonight. Not very impressed with the food. The rice was dry, Mongolian beef was dry and bland with very little sauce and the crab rangoons had very little flavor. Are they skimping on sauces to save money? Definitely not worth $37. read more

Just got my take out order from PF Chang and it it was disgusting. The broccoli was all yellow and clearly well past its prime. The chicken was dry and over-cooked and mongolian beef was so greasy it was not edible. My dogs wouldn't even eat it. The rice was dry and made maybe yesterday??? I wish there was something redeeming about this total waste of time and money, but there's not. Too bad, they really used to be good. Great food. Strongly recommend the bowl of soup to share. I prefer the wonton but they have it also in egg drop and hot and sour. Can't go wrong with the chicken lettuce wraps - I get them as my entree but they are listed under apps. The oolong infused Chilean sea bass is a bit spendy but well worth it. I have always liked P.F. Chang's but felt their quality was slipping in recent years. That all changed last night when I dined at PF Changs in Grand Rapids. I took my family and parents there for dinner last night and was thoroughly impressed by the service and the quality of the food. It was delicious, fresh, hot and the service was perfect - attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant was very full, too, so others clearly agree with me. I am so happy to see this restaurant be successful and definitely plan to return here in the future. I am especially excited to see they have outdoor seating which will be nice in warmer weather. read more

Pre-COVID review I've really only had P.F. Chang's a handful of times but I've always been pretty impressed by the food. My boyfriend and I had a gift card to use, so we dined in pre-COVID and had a great experience. Our server was super sweet and did a great job! The vibe inside is nice with soft surfaces, low light, and an overall cozy and romantic feel. It's not super fancy (you can definitely wear jeans), but nice enough to not feel out of place if you want to dress up a little. We ordered the famous lettuce wraps to start, as well as a California roll, fried pork dumplings, and shrimp with lobster sauce. The lettuce wraps are popular for a reason - they're really good. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the chopped veggies give it a nice crunch. The lettuce leaves were all fresh and crisp. This starter is savory and satisfying, and I would definitely be hard pressed not to order them every time. The Cali roll was just okay, I definitely would pass on sushi next time since we have so many great sushi places in town. The pork dumplings were very good and cooked nicely. The accompanying sauces really help make them pop. Then finally the shrimp with lobster sauce was AMAZING. The sauce is light but super savory and the black beans give it an earthy taste. The amount of shrimp was really great and we had a lot of leftovers for the next day. I absolutely loved this dish and would get it again and again! This is the shit yo! I went out with my bf and we were so excited because I love this place. Sesame chicken never misses btw. Anyway as my bf and I were demolishing some apps when I noticed that some bitch was texting my bf. I snatched his phone and read the texts they were sending. My heart was absolutely shattered, he had been cheating on me with his assistant for a year, thankfully our server Nina overheard and saw everything. She gave me a full glass of water reading my mind, I tossed that shit in his face and told him to get bent and go to hell. So...the good is they do curbside pickup and seem to do it well. MY issue with this PFChangs is the same as with all the ones I visited. They just aren't as good as when the chain started. Portions are still large, lettuce wraps are still tasty, but I feel overall the quality of dishes has gone significantly downhill. Everything used to taste more freshly made. Having said that, I have a family member who really likes them so we will likely keep getting food here. I've just had much better Asian food. read more

We also tried the Mongolian Beef and upgraded to fried rice. I liked the sauce on the tender meat. Fried rice just tasted like brown rice with some carrots stirred in and it had a plethora of large green onions. Also ordered the Kung Peo Chicken which my husband enjoyed. We waited almost 10 minutes (they were not busy) for the host to figure out which waiter would be assigned to us even though we had requested a booth...only to be ignored. Food is amazing as always! The only thing I am not happy with is we went there on 11/3/23. I just pulled my receipt out of my purse to check to see if my points were added for rewards. They were added. Then someone (not sure if it was the waitress or someone else hacked my account info) took the 2000 points away. I have my receipt and no points were used on this trip. As a matter of fact I was only a few points away from reaching this so was not even able to cash it in for rewards yet on this trip. They got forgotten our kids meal item and threw it in for free plus free dessert. They apologized up and down, not that I required them to, but the service just seemed over the top kind.
