Celebrating my 60th, kids called around for a place that would accommodate a party of 13. Thank you ! Was looking forward to the shrimp with candied walnuts and Mellon balls...so sad that it's been removed. Trust me- the shrimp in lobster sauce does NOT compare. Honestly looked like something barfed in a bowl. Understanding the Covid implications we didn't mention it to our server. He was very sweet. I didn't expect much knowing P.F. Chang is not authentic Chinese food but when they try to put certain authentic dishes like MaPaoTofu and they put literally NO sauce on the tofu and broccoli it's almost insulting to pay such a high price on a dish they screwed up. I ordered the same dish from a PFChang's in New York and they actually put a generous amount of sauce on the MaPaoTofu. Along with the Korean Glass noodle which this dish is hardly even "Korean" it's just a simple glass noodle dish in which didn't originate in Korea. The menu is overpriced for poor portions and undercooked vegetables. This is by far the worst PFChang location (KnappCorner) I've ate at. The best part is the ambiance/environment, very nice interior design and outdoor design to their restaurant is impressive as most PFChang locations are. Initially, I was not very big on P. F. Change. A little pricey and most of the meals seemed to be limited to a protein and green onions. During our last visit our waiter mentioned you could add all kinds of veggies to your meal. What a huge difference! First, the bouquet. Our waitress was a young girl who did a good job. The rest was a salamagundi of overpriced slop, salt and piss poor food. I had the Shrimp in lobster sauce. The shrimp tasted like a mix of iodine and rubber. The sauce was so salty, my eyes were blurry after eating about 1/2 the order before I said, I give. My daughter had Mongolian beef dinner. Disappointed. While I used to love this place and food it is run very unprofessionally. While tables were empty they were not cleaned and we waited 15 min. Beef with broccoli (so basic) was delivered 5-10 min after being ordered, overcooked/ mushy and cold. The rice was cold too as it clearly was sitting out in the pot for a while. The nice young college kid serving us did his best but never asked about our experience - it clearly was just a Job. The manager came and SAT DOWN at the table (WTH Ism his client not his buddy) after we requested warm dishes. I started my birthday dinner with an Asian Pear Mojito and finished it with a free birthday dessert.......unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the dessert, however I did get a picture of it. My daughter and her wife treated myself and my daughter in-law's mother to dinner at PF Chang's for our birthdays. We shared an order of California Rolls and some crispy green beans, they were both great, but I really liked the crispy green beans. My entree was the Kung Pao Chicken, and it never disappoints. It was no problem to get the extra peanuts I asked for either, I love lots of peanuts on my Kung Pao. Our waitress was very nice and the service was good. The only complaint I would have is that when our birthday desserts were brought out it was implied that we would all get a free dessert for our birthdays, but it was only the other birthday gal and I that got a free dessert. Honestly it should have only been the birthday girls but the way they were presented my daughter and daughter in-law thought that theirs would be free too, therefore they were a little surprised to find it on their bill. All in all it was a good experience and I'm glad I tried a couple of new items, the beans and the California roll.......I'm anxious to have them again. read more

We ordered the chicken lettuce wrap and it came with only 3 pieces of lettuce. The entrees were better but again not for how much they charge. I finally had my first PF Chang's experience yesterday and it was overall a fun experience, especially since i was being treated to dinner there, or I probably wouldn't have enjoyed is so much. The prices were quite steep for the quality of food, which I will admit, was not bad, but not exactly amazing... The best part of PF Chang's is the neat decor. Open, pretty, modern yet comfortable, lots of dark red and black. It has somewhat of a luxurious feel. But it was all quite spoiled by the top-40 pop music they had blaring. I know it was happy hour, but jeez, could they at least play something relaxing or classy? It is suppose to be an upscale restaurant, right? I was already aware that PF Chang's is an Americanized Chinese chain, and even though I prefer authentic Chinese fare, I can get definitely down on some faux-Chinese. However, didn't superlove my eggplant dish, it was very greasy and my aspargus appetizer was way too salty. In fact, all of the food was way too salty and/or sweet. Their tempura green beans are delicious and I'd only go back for those. Very addictive. So yeah, PF Chang's is way overrated, and the prices way too high. Their food isnt thaaaat much better than what you can get at most other Americanized Chinese restaurants or even some take-out joints in town. read more

After finally going to the correct door which is right on my driveway, he knocked on my apartment door and left my food sitting there before I could even answer the door. I was here on a Saturday evening, about 5pm. I had the GF Mongolian Beef. The service was great as was the entree. I thought it was a nice touch to have a Gluten Free menu. I'd say most people know what to expect from PF Chang. We enjoy the food but we come back for the experience: service, friendliness of the staff, maybe a new wine on the menu. I have used Yelp! for years now and here it is, my first review. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to bc we went for my girlfriends birthday dinner and I used to think very highly of this place. First of all, our waitress.. I don't know that she ever introduced herself. I was going to ask her for her name bc as someone who has bartender and served before I like to know people's names, but she kinda bugged me so I didn't bother. She was a blonde girl with long hair and a cheetah mask. Assuming she came from the south because she used "yall" like four times in her opening statement when she greeted us. She was chewing her gum underneath her mask and not the most attentive, but she got the job done. Now for the REAL reason I am writing this review. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp tempura for her appetizer. When it arrived to our table we noticed that 4 out of the 8 pieces of sushi had shrimp in them. The rest just had crab like a California roll. So I called the waitress over to ask her about it because in my experience (and we eat sushi at least once a week) there has ALWAYS been shrimp in every piece when I order a SHRIMP tempura. So while I'm in the middle of chewing my food the MANAGER Alex interrupted me and said "so I was told you guys had an issue with your food?" I nodded yes bc my mouth was full and he immediately said "So what was the issue?". First of all, this guy never introduced himself as the manager or a cook so I had ti later ask the waitress what his position was. Second, I had already discussed the "issue" with my server. THEN when I told him there was only shrimp in about half of it and the rest were only crab, he began to ARGUE with me. I told him that I have never had a shrimp tempura roll with out shrimp and he said "it goes by weight and they put two on each side". I said well all you would have to do is put another piece of shrimp in the middle. He proceeded to ARGUE with me saying well then there would be a tail in the middle. I said, listen I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you, but every time I have ordered a SHRIMP tempura is had shrimp through and through. He then says, "well I can take it off your bill if you would like". I said "no that's fine if that's how you guys make it, but I wanted to ask about bc it has been like this in all of my past experiences as someone who eats sushi at least once a week. I was honestly having a great dinner before I became quite agitated with the way he so rudely "addressed the issue" and then proceeded to argue with me. I used to love this place and i still LOVE the food which is the only reason why I am giving them 2 and not 1 stars. The guest should always be addressed in a polite manner ESPECIALLY when they had a question about their food and how it came out. Also, introduce yourself as the manager and don't interrupt when someone is chewing their food and say "I heard you had an issue" with a snotty tone. Also Alex has to be 27 or 29 at the most and seemed to be on a power trip. They need to check their management bc it has less to do with ordering people around and far more to do with customer service. I would imagine he doesn't treat his employees any better. Sorry for the waitress who i wouldn't have pulled into this review if it wasn't for the ARROGANT MANAGER. She still got a 20% tip tho. Always tip 20% you guys. read more

I am usually not a big fan of chains and to be fair I have been here a couple times but I like to reward good food and experiences when it is due. I have been to tons of locations of PF Changs and I always enjoy it. What I give them credit for is that they are pretty good at updating their menus and adding new items. Sometimes the food is a little salty but overall you can adjust your order, and if they mess up they are happy to bring you out a different plate- even if you messed up by ordering a dish you didn't like. Tonight we ordered the new kale/quinoa dip- it was stellar! And only $4 which is a steal for an appetizer anywhere. It was light and refreshing. We then had the Saigon spring rolls- also very light but fun to eat and full of flavor. For our mains we had the lobster taco (an app) and the Korean BBQ chicken (this was just ok). The lobster was awesome though. They even brought out some recommended sauces for the tacos including a curry aioli and a chili aioli. The sauces really took it to the next level and were even great over the rice. Our bill for everything with a glass of wine was $50 which seemed like a steal. read more

We recently ordered takeout from the Grand Rapids PF Chang's and we were extremely disappointed with our order. We live 30-40 minutes away from the restaurant and had ordered an entree of sweet and sour chicken and 2 orders of honey chicken for our children. When we arrived home we realized they hadn't included any of the sauces with our order. They just gave us a bunch of dry chicken with no sides of the sauce and nothing on the chicken. To make matters worse, I opened up my container of chicken fried rice, and there was a huge egg shell in my food (picture included)! Driving back was not a possibility so I called the restaurant several times with no answer and then finally left a voicemail. I sent over an email as well and I have heard nothing back from anyone. We used to frequent the PF Chang's in Mesa, Arizona and never had any issues.
