We've eaten at PF Chang's Restaurants all over Southern California and at the Tanasbourne location in Oregon. While our experience at the SoCal locations has always been positive, the experience at the Oregon location was not good. While our server was very friendly, the food portions were ludicrously small. For example, our bowl of Wonton Soup consisted almost entirely of broth, and looked nothing like the picture on the website (which depicts a bowl full of wontons, chicken, shrimp, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and spinach). I complained to our server, who called over the manager, who told us that the photo on PF Chang's website was "wrong." She remade the soup, but it was identical the second time. See pictures attached to this review for what we got and what's advertised on their website. I know from experience, and the menu, that PF Chang's servings are intended to be served "family style." At $17.00 for the dinner portion of Kung Pao Chicken, I would expect as much. Unfortunately, the quantity of Kung Pao Chicken that I received was more akin to what I would expect for a single lunch portion. Alas, it was dinnertime, and I was charged for the dinner portion. To say that I'm disappointed would be an understatement. After our visit, I sent a message to PF Chang's customer service using their web-site, and I also placed two calls to the corporation office telephone number (which PF Chang's removed from their web-site recently, but was still shown on Google searches). Each time that I called, I left a voicemail, but nobody called me back. PF Chang's did respond to my web-site message with a form email apologizing for the experience and offering me a $10.00 coupon, but they made no mention of actually addressing my concern. Although I had offered to send the photos below to corporate, their form response did not ask for them. After I got that form email, I called PF Chang's corporate HQ yet again, and this time, I was able to reach someone in the customer service department. She asked me to forward the pictures, and after reviewing them, she assured me that the pictures on the web-site were accurate, and that what I received was obviously inconsistent with the pictures. She told me that she would have PF Chang's "market partner" contact me to resolve the situation. When I asked what the words "market partner" meant, she advised me that this would be the person who supervised the restaurants in the area. A day or two later, I got a call from a person who identified herself as manager of the particular restaurant that I had visited. She explained that she was the "operating partner." She advised that she had seen the picture I had taken, but that since she was not there, she could not tell me if the bowl of soup that I had received was made correctly or not, but that she assumed that if a manager was involved, that it had been. She also stated that she could not tell from the picture that I had supplied whether the food was made correctly or not, which directly contradicted what the customer service person had told me when I called PF Chang's corporation HQ. I suggested that the manager make another bowl and compare it with the picture I had taken (or send me a picture so that I could do so), but she declined both suggestions. She also advised me that she felt that the difference between the picture from the web-site and the picture that I took might be explained by the fact that, in the picture from the website, the food had all been moved from the bottom of the bowl to the top of the bowl to increase its visibility. I pointed out that normally, Wonton Soup is so full of food that the food at the top of the bowl is supported by a similar quantity of food underneath, and that I believed that the picture on the web-site was misleading for that reason, if that's what had been done. The conversation was mostly pleasant, but she did raise her voice with me once I advised her that I would update my review to include my conversation with her. I did ask her to refund my money, and she declined. After I spoke with her, I called back to the PF Chang's customer service center. Another rep. there looked at my pictures and agreed that what I received was wrong. He said that he would have the regional manager contact me. That was a week ago, and I haven't heard from anyone since then. Based upon my experience, I won't be returning the PF Chang's in the future. Update: On 2/27/2020, PF Chang's customer service posted a comment on this review that asked me to contact them using their web-site. Evidently, the person who posted that comment didn't bother to read my review, which details the communications that I've already had with their customer service department. The weather was nice, however very slow with only five tables of people in the entire restaurant. It took 10 minutes just to get our order placed the appetizer came out in a reasonable amount of time but to get to lunch special one Mongolian beef, one sesame, chicken, rice bowls it took 40 minutes to get our food ... one appetizer to lunch specials in a pot of tea was $51. Then it took another 15 minutes after he sent the check down to actually pay for the meal. I don't wish any business to go out of business. However, my prediction is with the weight times the expense of the food and frankly the fair quality I give this place eight months to stay open. read more

What I got was a plate of raw broccoli with cooked beef on the top. The taste is so so, but the rice is super dry. I don't understand why they put raw broccoli under. Place is ok , service is nice. For appatizers we got the green bean tempura and the edamame , both were very good. I got the spicy chicken dish and was disappointed with the fact that it was not spicy at all , but overly sweet. It also had to much garlic so it left an after taste in my mouth for a good while after. My friend got the Mongolian beef and that was very good, another person at our table got the chicken lettuce tacos and she loved them. Dont think I will ever come back here but it was nice to finally try this place out, thanks to my boss for a wonderful lunch. read more

First and last time trying a PF Chang's. Cafeteria food meets freezer section. Only difference is we paid $72 for extremely bland, overly gingered, flavorless mush. It reminds me of a "Chinese food" place I ate at in Spain and follows the same lame attempt at real Chinese food but comes no where near the real thing. Seriously, if you're expecting authentic Chinese food look elsewhere. Only reason why I gave a second star is because of the fast service for pickup. read more

If I were you, I would triple check your balance when you receive the bill for your meal. I was charged $30 extra for no reason. It took 4 days to get my money back and this was after 2 phone calls to the restaurant. I spoke with the manager and he was very dismissive, almost like he could not be bothered to help me. The server and the manager knew what they were doing, which is why they did not care. Over prices soggy food. We ordered sweet and sour chicken that tasted like soap and was soggy. The inside of the chicken was also soggy. The Kung Pao was crispy but was almost not edible due to its saltiness, if we would've known how salty it was gonna be we would have not ordered that. the rice was so dry. the portions were tiny for them to be $20+ the drinks were fine and there was not much of a wait but this was a let down read more

I had the opportunity to dine here again for a birthday celebration that I received a gift certificate for. Again service was fast and efficient and my wife and I had a fantastic time. Remember when you ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and they would mix the dipping sauce in front of you and explain the process and significance of the sauce........ Well they don't do that any more LOL I think its to save on time but it was fun and interacting so wish they still did that. Other than that a really good evening and I thank my in laws for the gift certificate........ The Mongolian beef was very nice a bit dry and chewy but once I hit it with soy sauce it was fine...... Every once in a while, when you eat at a familiar restaurant, if they do a really outstanding job, it is worth letting others know about it. PF Chang's is very familiar to my wife and I as we have been customers there for some years now. Today we went for yet another happy hour, but it was even better than we are used to (and it is always good)! Our server was a young man named, Josh. The service was impeccable! He was polite, informative and Johnny-on-the-spot. PF Chang's should make sure they keep him! What really made our experience so great today however, was the food! We ordered two of our old time favorites: Northern-style spareribs (with 5 spice) and chicken lettuce wraps, but today we also added the tempura calamari and vegetables. Wow, the trifecta of happy hour cuisine, for sure! The ribs are cooked to perfection and the 5-space dry rub is lip-smacking good! The lettuce wraps are, as always, messy but delicious. As for the tempura dish, the batter was so light, crispy and fresh, we kept remarking on it as we were eating it. I washed our food down with a Twisted Whiskey Sour while my wife enjoyed an Asian Pear Mojito. Yum! All in all, a great Valentine's Day happy hour experience. Well done, PF Chang's! read more

We were at PF Changs today with my Service Dog a small AKK. I had him on his own bed on the seat next to me. He does not move & lays next to me. Manger Erica Mascaro came over told me Service Animals were not allowed on the seat I told her he's always next to me. I had to put him on the floor. She told me Service Dogs were not allowed to eat or drink in her restaurant. She was very rude to me. The ADA rules for Service Animals provide that the small Animals Can be on the seat next to the owner if sitting or laying down as my dog was lying down on his own bed. The manager told me my dog could Not Eat or even Drink. She as very rude and did not Care that I had to have my Service Animal next to me in case of a Seizure. We will be filing a Complaint with The Oregon ADA due to this TREATMENT. The review should be a minus 2 Stars. read more

This is a well deserved 5 star rating and honestly if I could give it ten stars, I would. From the location of this restaurant being centrally located in a fabulous shopping center with great lighting and ample free parking spaces, to the security who patrols the parking lot and walking in to be greeted by the friendly host and hostess who quickly seat you at a table to be served by a friendly server, Edgar who will provide excellent service and to bring you delicious food that is prepared by the Chef all are factors in the highest rating possible. I enjoy coming here because I feel welcomed and the food is tasty and fresh. I also get points when I dine here and am signed up for the emails which give me free entrees sometimes like tonight when the server, Edgar who is truly an incredible server and has been working here for ten years applied my email offer to our meal and we got free chicken fried rice! We stopped in for a rare lunch without kids and were expecting a usual restaurant meal with intermittent service a la McMennamins. However, our server Kamdyn far exceeded our expectations. After we were seated, he promptly came over and helped us navigate the extensive menu. He had our drinks at our table before we had even decided on entrees. His attentiveness continued throughout the meal, making sure we like what we'd ordered and that our glasses were never less than half full. When it was time to check out, he took down my rewards number and came back with a smile on his face letting me know that I had a birthday reward on my card. I had no idea. Then he returned with a birthday card for me signed by the staff working that day. He also gave us several of the Chinese New Year fortune telling pigs. When we mentioned our kids, he grabbed us a few more-one for each kid. What we expected to be an ordinary meal was made extraordinary by this server's attentiveness and care. I hope he's recognized by the restaurant for his work ethic and customer service. When you head to P.F. Chang's next, see if you can be seated in Kamdyn's area. We had been road tripping for two weeks and were in need of a nice sit down meal. Popped in to PF Chang's and it was perfect. The shopping mall it's in is very nice. I wish we had more time to walk around. Lots of parking in the private lot. Inside - it's the largest PF Chang's I've ever seen. Whoa. TONS of seating. I bet this place gets packed on the weekends. We were greeted kindly and seated quickly. Our service was stellar - awesome waiter. Food was perfect, hot, fast, delicious. I tried a coconut mojito. YUM. YUUUUMMMMM. Our favorite dishes are the Mongolian Beef and the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Garlic Noodles are no longer on the menu - but ask - they'll make you some. Great visit. read more

Great environment, good parking space and good food. Waiters are very patient and they seem very knowledgeable about the menu, which is always a good thing. I ended up ordering some sushi (California roll) with some tea, and they both tasted amazing. I would definitely visit this location again to try out more of their menu. read more

It's too bad there isn't a no star rating for this location. I wouldnt serve the flavorless Kung Pao chicken to my enemies. No sauce no heat shopping mall fried chicken nugget taste and pot stickers were slimy, wet and cold guess they didnt reheat from the freezer all that well. Hey not a total loss house beer was good! After being dissed and dismissed by three Asian ladies, this was our fourth choice in the area. We wanted an Asian meal and unfortunately the more interesting and unique choices (Du Kuh Bee, Yuzu and Toshi's) aren't open during lunch hours on Saturday. So rather than tasty Korean BBQ or sushi, we had a prix fixe lunch at P.F. Chang's. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the interesting meal I had planned. I've been to the Bridgeport location a number of times and while it doesn't push any boundaries they provided good service and a nice overall experience. I've always considered their prices on the expensive side, but the three-course prix fixe option is a pretty good deal. Choice of soup, appetizer, two entrees, rice and a small dessert costs $29 for two. There are three entrée pricing levels so for $10 or $20 more you get more options. My boys did not enjoy their kids' meals, but did eat the regular entrees (ginger chicken and Mongolian beef). I thought the honey dipping sauce with the kids' meal was pretty unappetizing. But, strawberry lemonade (free refills) came with their meals so they were happy overall. The dessert with the prix fixe meal is served in a shot glass and you have about eight options, including s'mores, apple pie and strawberry cheesecake. Sometimes you've just got to roll with the punches when Plan A, B and C don't pan out. Three stars is just about right for P.F. Chang's. read more

Now it's more happless than happy and just not worth it. There are more items gone, prices have gone up (again) and they took away the Kirin on tap. I am encouraged to write this review only out of disappointment. It has been a while since I have been to P.F. Changs in fact I have not been to this location which is close where I live. We did not have to wait long to be sat and the server was friendly. The food appeared very good looking but that is where it stops. Maybe they had an off night, I am not sure. However it was all off. We started out with the Dim Sum and Street Faire appetizers and some Apple Pear Mojitos. We had lemon grass chicken and pork pot stickers and some Koran style beef tacos. They arrived at the table and they messed up the order to start. They brought pork tacos instead of pork pot stickers. When they returned later .. much later they brought the pot stickers but they were the chicken ones and not the pork ones. I will say the Koran style tacos were pretty good and the pot stickers were also good. Going back to the Apple Pear Mojito, well it looked good mine had little to no alcohol while my wife's had much more. Can't say I even detect any apple pear flavor in either one. We ordered Lemon Grass Garlic Shrimp (LGGS) on noodles and Honey Chicken (HC). The LGGS lacked flavor .. no signs of lemon grass and no signs of garlic. The bed of noodles it sat on was like water logged Ramen, The Honey Chicken was alright should have been better it just sat on a bed of exploded bean curd noodles but likely saved me and this review from being a fat zero. Lastly we awaited for the desert tray. We saw this when we got there and it looked awesome. I mean awesome .. but wait you mean we get the bill and you Ms Server are not going to bring us that awesome looking dessert tray we drooled over when we got there? Wow unreal well that brings me to the big fail for this place. For the price and fanciness of this restaurant I should be getting great food and service and that was not the case tonight. Like I said maybe it was an off night and I hope it was for them, but if I return and experience the same issues then all I can say is avoid this place and find yourself a good non chain Chinese food restaurant where quality is great and price is good! read more

First off, I don't understand why authenticity matters unless that's what the premise is. Second, the waiters are all attractive, what's up with that? Third, I HATE mushrooms, but good ol' P.F. Chang's MADE me like them. I don't know how, but I certainly appreciate that after hating them my entire life. Fourth, I have never had anything yucky here. Fifth, if my mother only knew that tempura green beans existed, I would have always finished my vegetables. And last, the customer service is great, and the prices really aren't bad. Ordered to go today. When I got to their curbside area, I called the number but nobody answered. So I put my mask on and went inside. Picked up my two items quickly and left. Unfortunately, the beef in our rice and the chicken in our lo mien was dry and hard. It had to have been cooked hours ago and reheated. The only one happy was our dog. Placed an online order at 5:00pm, just to find out from our Grub Hub driver, one hour and 15 minutes later that the restaurant was out of rice! WHAT? Rice is a staple at a restaurant like this! We were not offered any substitutes. I cancelled my order because why would I want it without the rice? I contacted the restaurant and was told they were crazy busy. It seems they are usually crazy busy. No excuse to run out of a staple. At the very least, if you know you are running low, send someone out to WInco, they carry 25 pound bags of rice. Not able to speak to a manager after holding for 10 minutes. Hung up. read more

Honest opinion - Ingredient is honest, what they use is good quality meat and vegetables. But it does not taste like Chinese food at all. I ordered 5 Chinese dishes but non taste like Chinese food. It is simply American food tried to cook in Chinese way but failed to copy it. Very oily and no taste at all. The Real Chinese food smells very good and taste super delicious. But here, no real Chinese food taste at all. I go to Chinese restaurant for Chinese food, especially high price Chinese restaurant I expect super Chinese taste food. So I was very disappointed I didn't get to eat Chinese food at all but just simply meat and vegetables, and I've paid a large sum for that only. :( read more

This used to be up there on my list but it's been less than great the last couple times. The service is good but I don't know if they've changed their recipes or their chefs, but the food has been off. Not enough flavor and the vegetables seem over done. It's all just not as fresh as it used to be. The lettuce wraps are disappointing bc the lettuce is too small you can't even wrap them up. Also the chicken inside is dry. I hope they aren't turning into one of those restaurants that has everything pre made. For this kind of money I expect the food to be stellar. read more
