I was sitting at the bar just minding my own business drinking a Sam Adams Octoberfest when my delightful bartender stopped by with a shrimp dish. "We have a free honey shrimp dish available, would you like to try it." I'm sorry did you just say free - well I'm not going to say no to that even though I just ate some dumplings. Will start this out with the fact that a year ago I came here for my birthday and was so disappointed I felt like I was not going to visit again. I had gift cards so we came back. I am stating this because anyone who may have been there in the past and had a poor experience they may be as pleasantly surprised as I was this time. My fiance and I came for Valentines, we had reservations and gift cards. I was also lucky enough to have a free app coupon. We were seated about 15 min after arriving with reservations. Our waitress was almost immediately at the table to say hello and drinks were delivered in a flash. We ordered an app and it too was out very rapidly. We got the green beans. They were alright but my fiance was not happy with them. It was alright since it was free, and trying new things is always refreshing. Got a few drinks, our order was taking a while but we knew it was busy so it was no sweat. We noticed the staff was having issues getting thing to the right table, but we overheard that because of the holiday tables were split and numbers were different so we completely understood and felt bad for the runners. My meal arrived and we had a comped shrimp app because my fiances meal was not there at the same time. We were surprised, and loved the flavor of the app. Much better than the green beans. Both of our entrees were wonderful. Had the bartender make me a custom drink and it was spot on. Server recommended the mini miso butterscotch dessert and I was NOT disappointed. Went for lunch, ordered the Korean bibimbap, which is brown rice, chicken, vegetables and a fried egg on top. It was nearly inedible. My theory is P.F. Chang's has a giant bag of frozen chicken nuggets for these lunch rice bowls. They fry them up, use the same nuggets in every rice bowl with different sauces. The brown rice was undercooked and like tiny hard pebbles. The fried egg on top, where the yolk is supposed to be soft enough to run down into the dish, was fried to death, tough and leathery. Needless to say, we won't be back to P.F. Chang's. And with all the competition for the lunch/dinner crowd in our suburban area, P.F. Chang's could be the next national chain to bite the dust. read more

My husband had a birthday on March 3. We decided to order a take out at P.F. Chang's after spending the whole day in Philadelphia with our children. After placing the order online, we knew food would be available for pick up at 5:45pm. We drove by the restaurant at 5:39pm and decided to stop by for a quick check on the order. The parking lot was absolutely full, my husband parked the car in the driving lane with blinkers on, leaving me, my 10 year old and 2 year old son in the car and went inside to check on the order. It started to snow and the road conditions became dangerous. Other cars were coming and going picking up their food orders. After not hearing from my husband for 20 minutes I sent my 10 year old son to search for him while I stayed in the car with my 2 year old. Both my husband and my son came back with no food, explaining that they were told that the food would be ready shortly...It took me calling the restaurant and talking to the restaurant manager to get our food. The restaurant manager apologized, gave us 50% discount for the delay, but the birthday spirit was ruined. My husband did not get the birthday celebration he deserved. And the worst part...the receipts on each container indicated that the food was ready at 5:29pm and 5:30pm, well before the deadline of 5:45pm communicated to us online. Think twice before ordering from this restaurant. If you order online and chose "pick up" option, your chances of receiving your food on time get significantly reduced since the restaurant does not know how to track the order status for "pick up" items. read more

As many other reviewers have said, this particular location is a weak link in another wise average chain. Went on 7/1 at lunch time. My "Sechuan Beef" was a plate of under cooked veggies and a few crumbs (literally) of beef. My friend's orange chicken was ice cold. The crab-avocado sushi that I ordered was a luke-warm embarrassment. The kitchen staff clearly is lost. The servers who work there are polite and they clearly are trying very hard, but they seem embarrassed by the lack of quality of the food. Very sad. read more

Quality has def gone down. Dan Dan noodles and Sichuan shrimp have disappeared. Veggie Lo-Mein was bland .. I can get tastier stuff at my local Chinese takeout at 1/4 the price. Only good things were the chicken lettuce wraps (have an equally good recipe now at home just googling), the Mongolian beef and the Honey shrimp. Prices have gone up 50% since Covid. Will not be ordering from here again .. not worth it. Chang's is too commercialized now. I would rather go to Penang in Philly or Rangoon for the authentic and street food taste and price. Coming to P.F Chang's has always been a delight! The food is to die for!!! I visited the other night, on a Tuesday around 6 oclock and was so surprised that it was crowded. If I came even 15 minutes later the wait would be an hour; so it is definitely my recommendation to get there before 6. Now to the food, I ordered the sesame chicken and got a side of shrimp fried rice. It was all devoured in 10 minutes! The flavors mixed so well and is my favorite thing to get at P.F Chang's. A few years ago this was a great spot for the style of food they serve (back when they still had lemon scallops). We ordered their meal for six special, for our family of five, and only four of us were able to eat what we ordered. Every rice container was half full, and the entree's were no better. Spent $72 on the family meal for 6 (There are 5 of us). I thought we'd have left overs, but instead we barely had enough food for everyone. Containers were filled 1/3 to half way full. For the beef and broccoli we each got 3 pieces of beef and 1 1/2 pieces of broccoli! The white rice containers were filled less than half way...maybe enough for 3 servings, but definitely NOT 6. (Come on P.F. Chang's...it's white rice! The easiest/cheapest thing to make! Why be so cheap that you only fill the container 1/3 full! If you filled them all the way full, maybe I wouldn't be writing this review cause it would have filled us up and made up for the lack of all the other food....just sayin! ) The lettuce for the lettuce wraps was less than half the size it usually is...super small and unusable as WRAPS. This restaurant has gone totally downhill. Not one of the four entrees we ordered was decent, and nothing tasted like it used to. The crispy honey chicken should have been called soggy, oil-drenched chicken. The 2 entrees of lo mein were bland, mushy, and overcooked like they had been sitting in the pot the entire day. Went to take out tonight at this PF Chang's located in the Promenade on Rt 73. We ordered lettuce wraps , spicy chicken and mongolian beef. The mongolian beef was so dry and tough, couldn't eat it and threw it out. Spicy chicken was ok. The Lettuce wrap had barely enough lettuce to wrap up the meat .Portions are definitely smaller than they used to be. Also got 2 orders of fried rice only fair in taste. Excellent, fresh food with servers who make recommendations. Last night, we appreciated our server, Mark's, suggestion of getting Mongolian beef with broccoli instead of the regular beef. It was soooooo good. We got the dinner for 2, which is a great deal. I was recently here with my whole family to celebrate a few birthdays and unfortunately, we had a rather unpleasant experience. We made a reservation for 6:30 on a Sunday for 13 people (4 were kids). We were seated about 15 min later and were put at a large, yet awkward table. The table didn't seem to reach the booths on either end, so the people sitting at the ends were very far away from the table, making it an awkward distance to eat. The room is also darker than I remember it being.. It's so dark that it's pretty hard to see people (especially if across a long table) and it's so loud that you can't really talk either. Whatever. These things, I could get over. It was the rest of the experience that just was absurd. We had 2 servers who were very pleasant to handle our service. We ordered our appetizers in an extremely timely fashion- 2 lettuce wraps, spring rolls, and edamame. About 5-10 minutes later, we ordered our main entrees and the kids' meals. We ordered beef with broccoli, orange chicken, cashew chicken, chicken lo mein, kung pao shrimp, 2 salads, 2 kids chickens, a kids fried rice, and a kids lo mein. The appetizers were brought out pretty quickly and were pretty good. We've always been a fan of the lettuce wraps and they were good, but not great this time. The rest of the apps were good and all was happy. Then.. the night took a turn for the worse (dun dun dun). After about 40 minutes more of waiting for our food, we asked the servers to please bring out the kids' meals. They were getting hangry(!) and we were trying to avoid a crying catastrophe. The servers said the kids' meals were going to come out at the same time as everyone else's, but that the kitchen was backed up, so they weren't sure on how much longer. We asked probably a total of 3 more times for them to just make the kids' meals and send them out ahead of the rest of the food. Twenty minutes later, we still had no kids' meals and really no service at all. Our water glasses were never refilled, nobody came over to the table to see how things were going.. really just all service stopped. It was very strange and I've never experienced anything like it. My sister-in-law tracked down a manager and asked her for the 4th time to bring out the kids' meals. She promised they will be out in 5 minutes. Twenty minutes LATER (this is like almost an hour and a half since we ordered!).. still no food and barely any service. Family starts to get angry, like really angry. Kids are crying. Total chaos ensues. We ask to speak to a different manager, who says he will go check on it, then disappears! Probably 10 minutes later, the food starts coming out. However, there were NO kids meals on the trays. I'm sorry, but you can fire a kids' chicken dish in 5-10 minutes easy and unless they're going out to the rice patties and getting the rice to order, I'm pretty sure kids' fried rice can be made in under 5 minutes. It was so ridiculous! The managers on multiple occasions promised the kids' food would be out and they were exactly the LAST meals to be brought out. On top of that, the managers both did not have the decency (or more frankly, the balls) to come back to our table and apologize. They sent a poor waiter who was not even our primary waiter to tell us that the meal would be comped and to apologize for them. Poor poor managerial skills and certainly did not sit well in our book. After the food came out, we hardly even wanted it anymore since we were so annoyed and sickened by the experience. They forgot our beef and broccoli, but we told them to forget it. We just wanted to get out of there. One of the servers we had was sweet and after we finally got our food, kept coming out to check and make sure we were all ok. I think the rest of the staff wanted to avoid us, which was pretty awkward and hilarious all at the same time. We appreciated that the meal was comped but after being there for over 2 hours and having that terrible experience, it could not even be redeemed. We will definitely not be back and suggest that the managers of that place learn some customer service skills fast. read more

The food was fine if your shopping at this great mall, and need some thing to eat, but I'm just done with restaurants getting RAVE reviews just cuz it's been lucky enough to open up as a chain. This is a 2.5 star review... probably closer to 2.2. I havent been to a P.F. Chang's in years, I remember it as being a lively fusion place with good food.. it has seriously declined... and honestly I don't even know if I can give the credit to this location because the one I was going to was in a different state. While the food was pretty decent everything else fell short. I was going there with my friend a few friends arriving in separate cars... unbeknownst to us, two of us put or names in not realized the other had already done it... we arrived 10 mins apart. Their practice is to take your name and number and they would text when your table is almost ready. Why did one of us get a text followed by a call, but the person who arrive first got neither?? Once seated we were presented with a waiter who's name we never got no surprise, who wrote down our order for 4 sprites and a water, already knew where this was going... the service was THE SLOWEST ever! No refills ever until we basically hunted him down.. he literally ignored us to the point where the table next to us saw him ignoring us and called him over just to left him know that we were trying to get his attention. The food was sub par... some meals were good others were not good at all... the fact that you can't substitute the white or brown rice for fried rice with an up charge is ridiculous especially when the fried rice is nowhere near good enough to spend $7 on. Sometimes if it a weekend I'll pardon the slow service and the inattentiveness but usually in these situations the waiter will acknowledge it when you have to flag them down to ask where your meal is, they will apologize.. nope not here. I wouldn't even come on a weeknight to give them another shot, not when Redstone is on the opposite side of the parking lot with better food and way better service... I would even go a little deeper into the parking lot and head over to Brio... it's a shame I really raves about P.F. Chang's in the past this was a disappointment. read more
