I've never been to a P. F. Chang's. I'd heard lots of negative comments about the food. Well, we went today to this one in White Plains, and it was great! Fresh brewed iced tea, wonderfully refreshing. The Won Ton Soup was seasoned nicely, not salty. It had dumplings, chicken, shrimp, mushrooms. I loved it. My DC had the Hot and Sour Soup, very tasty. We had the Mapo Tofu with Steamed Broccoli. A different preparation, it had cubes of crisped tofu. The sauce was very good, not spicy, but we liked it. Don't skip the Crispy Green Beans! For entrees we had lunch bowls that are such good portions and inexpensive. The cocktails are strong and yummy I'm never disappointed I had the KYOTO BLOOM & my partner had the IWAI OF THE TIGER both were ridiculous good. P.F. doesn't fall in the "heathy chain" bracket- but the menu has some light fare that you can get by with: lettuce wraps, Sushi ( I'd definitely not eat it here) and more stuff to satisfy every palate. Decided to try this place for dinner. I checked the website for reservations just in case it was busy. Luckily we found a reservation spot for my party of 6. When we got there we noticed that it was busy and once we checked in we waited about 10-15 mins. We got seated and our waiter came around to take our order around 10 mins later so by the time we came we already knew what we wanted. Waiter was super nice and told us that it was a busy night and some dishes might take out more time to come out so we did predetermined the appetizers and main dishes together. Although there was clear delay in getting our table and even water, we enjoyed our experience and meal because we understood that it was a busy day. Food was really delicious. We ordered the Mongolian beef, fried rice with chicken and shrimp, curry noodles, ribs, vegetable spring rolls and crab wontons. The menu says family style dishes and they were shareable portions but we eat a lot so we ended up ordering 2 more dishes of rice and Mongolian beef. Food was tasty. As for drinks we ordered the one being featured: Midnight Ritual. It's so good!! Our server did come to apologize at the end of our dinner because it was busy and they were taking long and we found out that they were down with staff. This was my second time patronizing this location over the last 10 or so years and I was disappointed for a second time and last time. I called a few days ago, on Saturday evening, to ask if the if the kitchen was still open because I wanted to place an order for pick up. The young woman who answered the phone could have cared less about providing decent customer service and hung up the phone without offering a "thank you" or a "goodbye" once my question was answered. I was beside myself and couldn't believe that they thought that was acceptable that I had to call back and inquire about the poor approach. Then this afternoon, against better judgement, I called back to actually place an order; the same young woman answered the phone. Once I placed my order and went to pick it up, the same young woman was at the front, on her phone, and just as rude in person. It got worse when I was ignored when I went to pick up my order at/in the kitchen when the young man decided he was going to help someone in front of me then act like he didn't see me standing there when in was my turn. I had to try to yell over the loudness of the kitchen to ask where I should pick up my order. Good thing there was a manager of sorts who saw me and assisted in me getting my order. Once I got home to eat my pork spare ribs and veggie lo mein, I was underwhelmed. The sauce on the ribs tasted as if there was anise in it, something I absolutely loathe and feel is unnecessary/confusing for a bbq sauce to contain. The Lo mein was average; I have had better at fast food restaurants for 1/3 of the price. All in all, I will not be returning to P.F. I have ordered delivery before although expensive with lots of add on bogus fees ( The Pandemic is over restaurants stop with these bogus fees you are robbing the public.) I ordered Crispy Honey Chicken and Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps. I have ordered these two dishes many times over the years. When I opened the bag I was shocked at the portion size. It is half the size of portions you get in the restaurant or on pervious delivery orders. The last time I ordered delivery I received a 1/4 of a lettuce. This time I got 5 lettuce leaves. Ignore the bad reviews! The chicken lettuce wraps are a dish on its own and a must. Perfectly seasoned and paired with a beautiful sauce. The dry rubbed ribs were so good, next time I'll order it with a side of fried rice to make it a complete dish. Yum! The kung pao chicken was beautifully cooked, so crispy and delish. Definitely a step up from all Chinese food you can get elsewhere, plus super yummy compared to anything else you might have. Almost didn't eat here because of the bad reviews, but bf insisted and Google's reviews are surprisingly good, so went for it and glad we did. My family and i came here recently for my daughter, Hiawathas, birthday. She was turning seventeen and wanted to celebrate this special girl. However as soon as we walked in it smelt like farts and that someone needed to use the bathroom. But i think it was really the food. Maybe I'm not used to exotic foods like this since i am from Nebraska. But this was extremely disturbing. First off the sushi (i dont know what kids these days say) was NOT bussing. I've been to this P.F. Chang's more times than I'd like to admit. 99% of the reason is because their fried crab wontons are sooooooo good. The other food in the restaurant is pretty solid but there's definitely better Asian food elsewhere. The main issue I have against this P.F. Chang's is the service. The multiple times I've been there there has always been some issue. One time once my party was seated we didn't get a server until 40 minutes in and then I had to grab a server from the side and ask for a server. Their plating also isn't consistent so we're not sure if our food is right and they'll sometimes have fruit touching the hot food. Other times our food has taken a while to come out. We've also been denied the food that we ordered as some of the people who serve the food from the kitchen are not the same servers so they'll come to our table with our order get confused and then take the food away from us. Another atrocity is the removal of the appetizer sampler from the menu. This was my favorite thing to order and now it is no more. Honestly the main reason we come here is the crab wontons and the fact that we're probably always going to get a table when we go (maybe not served though). read more

Chopsticks are thin and round, making them difficult to use. (Yes, I've eaten in Hong Kong.) Ma Po Tofu tofu pieces were good but the chili sauce was on the sweet side and lacked heat despite the menu designation. P.F. Chang's really let me down the other day. Let me explain... This P.F. Chang's has been here for quite some time. I used to go semi-regularly back in the day but I lost my taste for them and before the other day had not been here in years. The food was always good - not authentic by any means but better than takeout. Plus, I'm a fan of sit-down Chinese restaurants so I always had a soft spot for the chain. Anyway, my colleagues and I got a hankering for some Chang's and since we couldn't leave work we decided to order takeout via a delivery app. We ordered three items: pork egg rolls, crispy honey chicken lunch bowl with brown rice, and tempura lunch bowl with fried rice. After our delivery arrived, I immediately noticed errors; the honey chicken bowl had fried rice instead of brown rice, and the tempura bowl contained no rice. Additionally, the tempura bowl was supposed to come with a sauce that was also missing - basically, it was a container of tempura. We called the restaurant to make them aware of the errors. We were told that because we ordered via a delivery app there was nothing they could do, and that we needed to lodge a complaint through them. I'm sorry but that's ridiculous; the app did their job, it was P.F. Chang's who made the error to both of our meals and offered no real solution for us. Instead, they took advantage of the fact that we used a delivery app and passed the buck. While P.F. Chang's was never amazing, their food is pretty tasty so you can have a good meal here. They both were of disappointing quality, especially after having just visited the PF Chang's for the first time in Panama, and expecting the same quality. The mound of food was floating in a bog of what I think was supposed to be glazing that was super runny and watery and tasted bitter. The side of cheap plain white rice was very small, like 1 icecream scoop's worth, which ended up drowning in the bitter liquid soup-sauce. They used to have the best happy hour in White Plains....two pages full of low priced options and cocktails including a GREAT Mai Tai.
