I was really disappointed with the food and service at PF Changs. First off, the Sesame chicken tasted like a frozen lean cuisine meal. The non-crispy chicken and undercooked vegetables were covered in a gelatinous, sticky goo. Underneath the gooey layer of gelatin was a puddle of liquid -- I think water -- which was making the very little portion of rice soupy and mushy. The entire meal also had a pungent orange flavor which is atypical for a sesame chicken dish. Additionally the service was perhaps the worst I've ever encountered. Our waitress was nowhere to be found and we actually ended up being served by other waiters who had to pick up her slack. I am not at all a picky eater but I would never eat here again, not even for free. Don't waste your time or your money. Bunch of great places 2 min away on Mamaroneck Ave that are more worth the money. read more

I know this is a chain, so expectations are never high.....but wow this place has gone downhill! They used to have the best happy hour in White Plains....two pages full of low priced options and cocktails including a GREAT Mai Tai. Not only is the Mai Tai gone, but there are literally 3 food options printed on an index card and everything is $7. Oh the AC wasn't working and the place was 100 degrees....the TVs haven't worked in a month so couldn't watch the Olympics. Food on the regular menu is way overpriced for chain restaurant noodles. Three stars for the service and wonton soup. P.F. Chang's food quality has diminished in my experience. Crispy honey shrimp dish is now soggy. battered sweet shrimp. The shrimp fried rice was probably the MOST DRY AND TASTELESS side I have experienced at an asian restaurant to date. The quality used to be exceptional for a chain restaurant, but it is no longer the case sadly. The young waiter was attentive and professional and restaurant is attractive. Hopefully they can improve the food taste and quality. read more

Listen, I tend to be fairly generous with my reviews. The two stars here is no exception, and that should really just about say it all. That's all she wrote--et me, sorry--that's all they wrote. So my odyssey began when I had to wade my way through throngs of people to give my name to the desk clerk/ hostess. 20 to 30 minutes wait she unctuously announced as she thrust the buzzer into my hand like a cowboy prods cattle. No hello, no chit-chat.....whatever. Seeing the Yankee game on the TV at the bar, I lumbered over there and I was rewarded to see only about one third of the seats occupied. Good-- I though to myself, a seat, the Yankee game, a frosty libation soon to be on its way and my eldest son next to me--what gets better than that? So I sat down, and waited, and waited, and waited...the more I waited the more parched I became, the more sleepy I became, and the intense hunger combined with the noise.....the nausea set in. Out of despair, I folded my arms, placed them on the bar, and then rested my head on those folded arms. For all intents and purposes--I was the forgotten patron-- nobody was willing to take my bar order, nobody cared--ignominy? Finally, just as I was about to enter REM sleep, the bartender came and started to take my order. The waft of cooking food from the kitchen, as expected, had led to Pavlovian salivation response, and when I raised my head I looked like a Mastiff, sans the kerchief, but with a deep shirt crease along my cheek and the greenish facies of hunger-induced nausea. He took my order. It was about 15 minutes after I sat down. When I asked to order an appetizer the bartender sheepishly responded it was against restuarant policy. When I asked what "restaurant policy" prohibited him from me ordering and he serving me an appetizer he repeated himself. When I asked for some peanuts, he remarked that this too was not permitted. When I asked for some pretzels-- you guessed it. Right. Thankfully, my buzzer went off and I padded to my table. I was so hungry that I ordered multiple appetizers. The sort of stuff that takes eons to cook---y'know--chicken satay, egg drop soup, veggie dumplings and spring rolls. I asked the waiter to bring some hot sauce too. And I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Once again, I gave up, through up the white flag and rested my head in my folder arms. After almost 30 minutes I figured that non verbal cue would yield a prompt response-- but it didn't. Once again, the forgotten patron. Diners came and diners left, the Yankee game finished, shifts changed and nada. I could have gone home and mowed the lawn and came back by the time the waiter came. The satay was undercooked, the dumplings were served in some witches brew sauce that had at least 2 parts oil, and the spring rolls were overdone. The soup--ehhhhh, not so toothsome.The hot sauce would have drowned out the barely palatable apps--but that never came. Shocker. Unexpectedly the food came relatively soon thereafter. Mind you, it was still a good 20 minutes post appetizer completion. Shrimp and lobster sauce was OK-- something that a lot of salt, more pepper and hot sauce would have helped with, if available. Frankly, the shrimp might have been some macerated fish scraps extruded into a shrimp mold. the lobster sauce was patently and unmistakably faux. The garlic green beans were quite good and a caloric bargain at about 100 calories. The spinach was almost as much of a caloric bargain, but was.....well, gross. The sort of fare they serve to incarcerates. SK/BK liked their food--BK got Mongolian beef. I sampled it...sugar, salt, soy sauce and shards of beef-- hard to see how anyone could misfire that prep. SK got some tacos--not sure how those ended up on Chineese food restaurant menu--nevertheless, I was told by SK that they were tasty. I tried to not let their poor service or my soporific ways cloud my opinion on the quality of the food; but take that backdrop for what it is worth. Cheers. read more

From start to finish everything was above what expected. Our waiter Ashley is definitely exceptional, from greeting at table to recommendations on menu to paying the bill. Ashley is Professional and Charismatic. If you happen to dining at this location Ashley is highly recommended to request. Dishes recommendations are Mongolian beef with your choice of rice and Short rib with the Pineapple rice. As for the cocktail must try the Coconut Mojito and red sangria. read more

Very nice place. Great decor. Drinks are good but a tad pricey. My wife had the red sangria and I had 2 sake warrior. Brussels sprouts for appetizer was excellent. Lettuce wrap chicken which is their signature appetizer was so so. My wife had the honey chicken for main dish with brown rice. Chicken was ok. Brown rice was not. The signature lo mein pork was "to die for". I had the Mongolian beef with white rice which was also excellent. A little pricey but a good overall experience. read more

We went to this location for lunch after shopping in the mall, front desk was taking order on the phone and took us nice quite booth far way from the door, she was lovely. Waiter came right on time and took our drink order then continued soup apt and main course. Wonton soup was the best hot and sautéed soup was average but the pork dumpling and Thai curry was bland, no flavor no taste and came cold. When kitchen food comes out cold there and s problem,!so we did not even tried it, The lobster shrimp fried rice was very good but overalls this restaurant doesn't deserve 3!star. Dining is dirty and booths are not clean they need to update the furniture and re paint plus maintain the quality food. We will not be back nor any other locations. They had some serious issue 6-7 months ago in other location regarding the food issue and I believed was on National news on radio. read more

My husband and I went for dinner at PF Cheng in White Plains. it was so disappointed. The taste and quality of the food was so poor. Something happened at PF Cheng in White Plains, because my husband ate there many times before and the quality and taste of the food was very food, although, we hadn't been there for a while. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and shrimp fried rice. My husband ordered sweet and sour pork., with brown rice. There was only sweet and sour chicken on the menu, but, the server said he would ask the chef to substitute the chicken for pork. My shrimp with broccoli had a thick brown sauce that looks like ketchup on top of them and it looks like water was thrown in the dish to mix the sauce. The shrimp fried rice had a lot of hard clumps of rice. It was horrible. My husband said his food tasted horrible also. We had an excellent server. read more

The food and service was good but I am allergic to MSG and this food is loaded up on MSG.

I haven't been here in years and wanted to try it again, as soon as i walk in "Nina" saw me waiting to be sat down and took about five minutes to come over. She was very rude when she did, no manners, i said hello and she did not say anything back and just brought us to a table and ran off. Our waiter David was very nice, the food was quick, the noodles were good, nothing had a lot of flavor but it was okay. While I am eating i see Nina standing and practically jumping on the bench and talking loudly to the waiter while he was getting someone's check, near the door which I thought was very unpleasant and unprofessional, something I dont want to see while eating. Too bad Nina ruined my experience, I feel bad because David was very nice, respectful, and helpful but I probably will not be returning to this location until Nina is gone. read more

Came here for dinner last night with the wife and it was worth coming too. We ended up doing family style Korean beef over noodles, and it came with a side of rice. For Mother's Day, my dad ordered $100+ worth of food from our PREVIOUS favorite restaurant. We wanted to give my mom a nice lunch but we were very unsatisfied. The lo mein tasted like it was made in dirty water, it had no flavor. The pork in the fried rice was undercooked and tasted like it was made days before. The sesame chicken tasted completely different, I mean, it doesn't reven look like sesame chicken in the photo. Even the broccoli was bad. I'm not sure what happened here. We've been to P.F. Chang's before and NEVER had this problem. Needless to say, we were very upset to eat undercooked, flavorless food. The only thing we ended up eating was the fried rice (w/out the pork obviously) and Mongolian beef. For $113, this was a completely waste of money. We probably could've gotten better food from the frozen food section at Stop & Shop. read more

PF Changs has stepped up their game. Always great quality food, service is good, take out or curb side. They worked on gluten free options which are still very tasty. They know what they're doing as a national brand. Most national brands haven't caught up to speed as they have. You can get simple dishes that don't bother your stomach if you have GI issues.
