Today I was contacted by one of Edgar Oganesyans service advisors stating he could not help me unless I agree to 3.0 hours of service which equals $800.00 diagnosis fee. He also insisted I make a decision soon or Storage fees would be added. No work was done on my vehicle, I quickly went & retrieved it. I arrive @ Pacific around 6:15. They have all my paperwork ready. I proceeded to my car & start it. All types of lights & symbols start flashing. A code come up that says increased emissions. None of this was visible when I brought it in. Now on top of having parasitic drain; the yellow service engine soon light is on. I get out & go back to inform the advisor of my concerns & he basically tells me there is nothing he can do & that I would have to speak with Edgar Oga These people are a joke & some of the most incompetent, unprofessional, individuals I've ever encountered. I'm done with dealerships. 01/17/2020 Update: I realized my edc module was faulty. Through my own simple research. I discovered faulty edc module to be a common issue in my model M3. The edc module was preventing my car from going into sleep mode. I located a used module on eBay for 80 bucks. Swapped it out myself; took all of about an hour and a half to install. All works perfectly now; no thanks to Edgar, Jason, & the rest of the other Pacific BMW cronies. I can't believe Pacific was willing to charge me $800.00 in diagnosis fees plus whatever it cost to replace part & installation. I paid $80.00 plus 1 1/2 hours of my time. Like I previously stated, & still don't believe it would've taken more than an hour for pacific bmw to correctly diagnose my vehicle. If I would have actually authorized the work Pacific wanted to perform, i would've been out well over $1500.00 bucks. So happy I retrieved my vehicle from these clowns. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Sales team has zero integrity and doesn't care about the customer AT ALL. Horrible experience. I bought a used car from them. I noticed they only replaced the rear brake pads during the inspection. Asked them point blank when negotiating why they didn't change all four and they said "the front didn't need it." One month later, I receive a notification on the BMW app that I need to replace the front ones. The sales team refused to do anything about it. Not even comp the labor. "You bought a used car" was their answer. They wanted to charge me $500 to replace them. Quotes from numerous other mechanics were $250 or less!! Worst customer service. They'll just take your money. I plan to buy multiple other cars in the coming months for my business, but would NEVER consider buying another one from here. Recommend going to any other dealership except this one. read more

Very bad service department. They asked for 230$ diagnostics service fee because of rodent damage and said you should pay for diagnostics. I took my car to other location they did not charge and said here is no fee for diagnosi. My partner and I had purchased over 7 cars. My X6 I leased for 3 years. It was a Demo and I was told I had a three year maintenance warranty when I leased it. Much to my surprise it expired May of this year. I took it in for service 13 days after expiration! They wanted to charge me $900 for service. Yet my lease is stun intact until the end of August. My sales person Renee said he made a mistake on my warranty , that he did tell me until the end of August. Yet the dealership refused to pay for the service. My wife and I genuinely had a great buying experience here. We owe that to the great guys that helped us out, Andy & Yesayi. Right from the start, Andy didn't come off as some sleazy car salesman, he was welcoming, actually listened to what we were looking for and wanting and not once made us feel pressured into buying a car we didn't need nor buy any packages that wasn't necessary. Yesayi did a great job running around finding the exact car we were looking for and was also very transparent with all the information he provided. He didn't try to push us towards a car/features that we didn't need but made sure our expectations were set as he was demonstrating the features of the car. Andy & Yesayi were so efficient, that I was amazed that we were in and out with a new car in less than 2.5 hours. By far the quickest buying experience of my life...and we were in the car we wanted for our growing family and within the price range we were wanting to spend as Andy made sure we got a great deal, even beating out the initial price we presented him at the start of our conversation. Overall The worst dealership for both sales and service. I only decided to write a review based on my recent service experience but may as well include my past sales experience as well. Service Horrible and slow check in process. I made an appointment and began with a very slow check in process. What's the point of an appointment if they schedule 25 cars at once and get overwhelmed. The whole process takes forever as well as the courtesy car. You can reserve and provide your documents and still takes a while. Total check in time with diagnosis and review - over 1 hour. But let me tell you about the even slower check out process. Need to wait for the same service rep to get your car, didn't tell me that they couldn't even fix the car (due to a back order part). Tells me that my car is ready and will get it now. You would think 10 min to get it from upstairs. No! I waited over 45 min after trying to get the service reps attention. Took me to request several people to get the car and was told that 12 other cars were in the queue to get out. I went to the service lounge, there wasn't even 12 people waiting to get their cars. I hate the lies.. I hate the fact that they didn't even fix the problem. Or explain that my part was on back order. Spent about over 3 hours in the check in/check out process for nothing to be repaired. Side note: no coffee in the lounge. Mediocre refreshments. I prefer Lexus and MB service centers. Shoddy car wash Sales: yes, I didn't buy my car here in the first place though this was the closest to me. Bad deal, sales guy who couldn't get the car for me. Told me it would take 3 days to receive the car but told me to purchase it. Wait for 3 days for delivery though the car was available for test drive. Just weird. Left for Beverly Hills BMW to get the car - the same day! Basically, not coming back. Do not go to this dealership for sales or service. Can you imagine flying to Glendale, CA from Bay Area to buy a car? Well, it was all worth it. This was the best experience we had buying a car. Hands down. Khachik (aka Chris) Keheyan is the guy at Pacific BMW who made this happen. Buying remotely was a challenge but Chris took time to go over the car and details via text, picture, face-time with family. He was upfront and honest about things he knew and things he would find out - which he always did. Once we decided to buy the car, I flew there ( less than 1 hr flight) and he picked me from airport. Excellent service at the dealership from him and finance person (Isam). Isam didn't try to sell additional things that you get at other dealership. Transaction was smooth. Chris went over the car in details with me - from downloading of App , registering it and then going over all the settings - pros/cons. Car looked really nice and they detailed it well. I drove to bayarea that afternoon non-stop and I enjoyed the ride of the new Alpina XB7. Chris was also helpful when I asked him questions along the way about mirrors, music etc. He was very accommodating. I brought my car in stating that my high voltage battery isn't charging all the way, and that it's capacity is at 50%. When I spoke to the advisor about the vehicles 8 year battery warranty she had no idea what I was talking about. They charged me $230 took my car for a day, and returned it to me saying there are no issues. I still have the same issues, my service advisor never called me and still won't call me after many messages. We test drove an m240i since they didn't have a m340i in stock, we didn't like it, he then told us about an m340i that they can bring in from a seperate location if we could wait 20 mins. We said yes, once it got there that's there it went downhill. He rushed us into making a decision without even test driving the m340i when it got there. I went in for two recalls and my oil change during COVID. They have signages up and I felt like they are in compliance so that's great. I set up an appointment over the phone. They called me to remind me of my appointment, emailed me and texted me to remind me as well. That's cool. I don't know if it's because the place could be short staffed or maybe it generally takes them this long to get a loaner car and to get my car back from them but I waited 30-45minutes each way. They didn't seem short handed. What I didn't like is that I've had my other cars serviced at different dealerships by different car makers and they would explain to me what services they performed. I'm not sure if it's regular for BMW or for this dealership in particular but they just handed me a piece of paper with what they had done and said here's your car. I had to stop a guy to ask him what had been done because I'm not familiar with some of the terminology for the recall. He wasn't able to answer me completely. They even forgot to reset my oil change on the car so I have to do that myself. If you want to just get in and get out, have limited interaction with the people who work there and have no questions, this is a good place. It was good. They got the job done for the most part and people were professional, but the experience could have been better. read more

Nothing to do with the overall buying experience, however...... I took my brand new 2018 X1 M-Sport in a few days after the purchase since the Apple Car Play wasn't working. Apparently it seems it did not have Apple Car Play installed even though it said so on the sticker/paper with all the features. The Connect Drive App was having problems connecting to the car as well. Obviously I'm slightly disappointed about this since its a brand new car, but hopefully its nothing major. I own a BMW and have been coming to this dealership for service the last couple of years out of convenience because it's the closed to my house; but today was the last straw. I will not be returning. Every time I've dropped my car off for service, I've been so disappointed with the service advisor's lack of communication. It's so difficult to get in touch with them for updates and ETAs. I dropped my car off yesterday at 2pm for issues with the car battery, requiring a potential replacement. I was sent home in an Uber without a car, and I didn't hear back from my service advisor after multiple calls and text messages until just now. This lack of regard for customer service is unacceptable, especially when the cost for repairs is so high. Not returning here. read more

He brings the paper to sign and told me $640. I signed thinking that I'm getting requested services done. They said the services were backed up so I went there to pickup after 2 days. When I looked at the invoice they included airfilter service costing about $130 and others totaling at $640. I wanted to talk to him but he was already gone for the day. Had an appointment on 8/9 for service due to car window making screeching noises when you roll down the window. (this car is 2 weeks old, btw) When I made it to the appointment, I explained the issue to the service advisor, Gilbert Pogosyan. After hearing the screeching noises himself, he proceeded to get some wet wipes to wipe down the window and had the audacity to say that it is "fixed" and told me to go on my merry way. When I told him that I want him to look into it further, he told me there is no issue and that is completely fine. I left and while leaving I rolled down the window again and the noise was so bad. I knew I had to go back and was hopeful he can hear the noise once more and take in the car to inspect the window frame or attempt to look into it. Once again, he told me he doesn't know what to do and basically told me to leave again. At this point, I honestly don't know how he is working as a service advisor. You obviously do not want to do your job or at least TRY to help your customer. Not the type of service you expect from BMW. To keep this rather long complaint short, I went to another service center and right away took in my car after hearing that dreadful screeching noise and told me they will definitely look into this for me to assist. Wish I didn't have to waste my time driving to Glendale and still don't understand why that was so difficult for Gilbert to do the same. But apparently he "can't do anything" as he stated without even attempting to try. Please don't go to this location service center guys, its a big waste of your valuable time. read more

PACIFIC BMW SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS GOING TO OVER CHARGE YOU. I recently brought my 525i in for a gas smell under the hood. I paid the $245 for the initial inspection. After 3 days of finding nothing, I convinced them to look under the hood again where they would eventually find the problem. The Tech found what he thought was a bad O-Ring on a Fuel Injector. So, I asked them to change ALL of the O-Rings (12). I paid $247 for O-Rings and $735 for labor...total bill was $1283.88. This doesn't seem like much. But, after getting the car home, I realized gas is still leaking somewhere under the hood. I called my Service Advisor and left a message. He never returned my call. I live 80 miles from Glendale and I'm stuck now. After a couple months living with a broken car consuming my garage with a gas smell, I called my Service Advisor again to no avail. I called the Manager on duty that day and left a message...nothing. I was able to send Pacific BMW an email describing my problem. A gentleman called back and offered to transfer the call to the Service Department for which I declined. I asked that he please call Service and explain my issue. My advisor eventually called and stated that a Manager would contact me. That didn't happen. Not having another $1200 just laying around, I decided to try to fix the car myself. Just in case the Tech at Pacific BMW hadn't changed the O-rings, I ordered a complete set from my local certified BMW Dealership. The cost was $89.00. But wait, Pacific BMW charged me $247 for the same set. Yes the same stock numbers and from BMW. That's 174% over what Riverside BMW charged me. Once I replaced all of the O-rings, I QUICKLY was able to see that two Fuel Injectors themselves were leaking. It was never an O-ring problem. I ordered 6 new Fuel Injectors with new O-rings and changed them out myself in 1 hour.... Yes ONE HOUR. I also paid some silly "convenience fee" of $30.69. I'm happy to report I fixed the problem myself. But I paid Pacific BMW in Glendale California $1283 for absolutely nothing. I understand how the Tech missed the leaky injector. What I can't understand is how Pacific BMW over charged me for labor and parts, and refused to call me back to make me whole. Shame on you guys. You owe me $1283 for work that didn't fix the problem. Another $89 for the O-rings I had to buy locally. And $225 for the injectors I bought from FCP Euro. I have receipts! read more

The car was in amazing condition and it was perfectly what I wanted. Throughout the entire process the communication was great, no run arounds. Lucy in the finance department is an amazing person to work with. She did not make me feel uncomfortable or feel pressured during the signing process, if I had questions she was super helpful and informative. I don't know why I went to the dealer instead of my regular independent auto shop for a trunk lock repair but it happened. I got a loaner X3 which was a nice perk for spending $600 for a trunk lock repair. But it took 5 hours to get an update. I was in around 10a and didn't leave until after 330p. I was watching the clock as I had to pick up my son from school. I needed my car seat so I offered to go to get it from my car. But I was assured the techs know how to remove it. I doubted that since there are 100s of models is car seat; how's a technician going to know how to unbuckle it? Well, He couldn't! Instead he took forever (hence the 5 hour wait for an update) and twisted the car seat and seat belts until he gave up. Finally, i was taken to the upper garage to get the seat myself. I find a screw driver left on my leather seats waiting for some damage to be done, and the car seat nearly damaged. I still see plastic housing out of shape, but it hasn't affected functions so far, but who knows about the crash protection integrity. After all of that, I was late to pick up my son. I got Pacific to pay for that expense. read more

The price she asked me, $41 + TAX. I refused to buy because I knew something was not right. I went over to another BMW dealership and I bought the same exact part I was looking for $20 including tax, she was charging me over double the price I paid. Horrible customer service. I brought my 2019 X3 to the service center. It turns out I had a clogged sunroof drain that caused water damage to the electricals and it would cost 13k to repair. I contacted insurance who gave me an estimate of 6k. I asked my service advisor Ben to contact BMW for a goodwill repair to cover the difference. He refused. I left a vmail with Edgar the manager.
