Honestly, would give zero stars if I could given the amount of time I wasted here. I negotiated a price with James Warren from Pacific over email and agreed to come in to the dealer. Once I got there, the team was not willing to honor the prices given, saying it was a mistake (shady), and jacked it up by $5,000. The explanation was that they had backed out the down payment before giving me the price. To illustrate, that's like saying for something that costs $20, give me $5 and the total price is now $15. I was willing to negotiate even given the "mistake" but they were completely unwilling to even meet me halfway. They blamed me for the mistake and were highly rude and aggressive towards me. Strongly recommend against looking at these guys for your BMW needs. read more

My first car purchase was a CPO 428i from Emilio Dasaad, and I regret it. The process of getting the car was dramatic. After he committed to holding the car for me for the day, of which I was making a final move to SoCal, I get off the plane to have him tell me he sold the car I wanted. Then, switched his position and said it wasn't sold. Okay. I arrive, ready to buy the car, with a prequalification letter in hand, and somehow it still took over 3.5hrs to process. I purchased the GAP insurance and extended warranties, without haggling. They failed to update my address of which they knew I was moving to, so I didn't get my first bill. Emilio forwards me to BMW Financial, and after a week of investigating, which BMW Fin sends me back to the dealership because they supposedly forgot to create an account for me, the dealership then says "oh, your loan isn't through the dealership, it's through this bank." I was transferred 4 times before coming to this, of which the dealership should have known before transferring me to BMW Financial. Okay.. 3.5 weeks into owning my car, I notice a defect of the handle on my driver seat, the piece is completely discolored, and should've been screened by CPO. I also found two long 6 to 8 inch scratches on the driver window when I was getting my windows tinted. I contact Emilio with my concerns and he basically blames me for not pointing it out earlier, and then the tinter, a reputable tinter who told me there was no way an exacto blade could cut the glass like that, nonetheless TWICE. Emilio has deflected, and even made me feel like all of this was my fault, taking zero accountability for BMW short sighting both of these issues. Emilio forwarded me to another representative to do my final inspection, whom he rushed me out the door and couldn't be bothered. My first time buying a car from a reputable brand dealership has completely failed in delivering quality experience. Emilio and his management team lack business integrity and should be avoided. Bought a 328i from Pacific BMW in 2014... I Had a cracked windshield on the highway and wanted OEM windshield repairs made. Currently my BMW is leaking water in the front cowling and Pacific BMW will not stand by their work.... I came to Pacific BMW to get the work done right... I paid 3x what a normal shop would cost for this work... Pacific BMW says the two year warranty on the work is now void... I understand that and respect. But this is getting at the issues of quality of work and reputation.... If your service moto is "Nothing is more important to us than our reputation for great service" Well your reputation should reflect that you have issues replacing windshields correctly.... Cowl sealing issues are a common and documented problem with the 328i car series... This is exactly why i took it to your dealership do the work.... Very disappointed with the work... Service manager wont call me back after multiple messages and calls.... good luck to all. looks like I am out another 1000$ to re-replace my windshield again... Nobody responded to my calls. When I went to pick up my car, they said it was charged (the car is electric), that the tire pressure was checked, and that the error I went in for, was fixed. I left the dealership with the error still beeping, no charge on my vehicle and with extremely low tire pressure on all 4 tires. I quickly returned for them to check the tire pressure and they told me it was my fault and that I had to keep driving for it to reset. The technician checked the pressure and it was low. I've generally had good experiences bringing my vehicle to BMW dealerships for service but at Pacific have had an extremely negative experience. I had an electrical problem so I went to the internet where I found that this set of conditions - complete loss of electrical power, including failure to start, failure of central locking system, and inability to insert/remove key - was a set found by many due to faulty wiring to the main fusebox. This condition was the subject of a recall, and it was suggested that opening the fusebox and jiggling the wiring would offer a quick correct. I did this and was able to start the car and pull it into a spot and out of the street. I called my Pacific BMW and spoke with a specialist named Narek. I explained what had happened and asked about the recall. He looked at the file on my vehicle and told me that the recall did not affect my model year, and that I should bring the car in for a $200 diagnostic. Based on this I visited for the first time a non-BMW repair shop where I paid $120 for a diagnostic. The technician who performed this diagnostic confirmed that the wiring to the fusebox was faulty and further provided me with information showing that there was a recall for this and that it did affect my make and model year contrary to what Narek told me. After reviewing my records I found that I had received notification of this recall in March 2013 and that the corrective work was performed in May 2013 at a different shop. I visited Pacific to speak with a service representative about my experience. A representative, Amie, told me that Narek could not see that this work had been done to my vehicle because it was done at a different dealership. When I pressed her on this she then told me that he didn't look deep enough at my record. Even when I directly asked, she failed to explain why he lied to me by telling me that the recall did not affect my model year. She further told me that Pacific BMW would not help me because the work was not completed there and that I needed to contact BMW North America for further assistance. After the weekend I wrote the service manager Edgar about this. He apologized for the 'misinformation' and offered to evaluate the vehicle if I brought it in and paid for a diagnostic. When I protested as my initial call with Narek led me to spend money elsewhere, he told me that if it was found to be a manufacture issue I would not have to pay but otherwise I would be charged. At no point has anyone from Pacific BMW taken responsibility for the initial call in which I was lied to, and at every point they have asked me to come in and spend money. I have asked multiple times in direct terms for them to explain the lie which they have not done. After years of great service from other BMW dealerships I'm quite shocked at how little they seem to care about the relationship with a customer. I'm not usually one to write bad yelp reviews but this situation I feel warrants it. If you have an issue with your BMW, I suggest you take it somewhere (anywhere) else. read more

Finally got to write a review for Pacific BMW. My wife purchased a 528i BMW at this location a couple years back, although we had a rough start with one of our Sales Reps and had to switch Reps on the 11th hour, things went smooth as a normal sale should. So, after the switch-a-roo, the purchase was finalized and we went on our merry way... Then came a few minor challenges, but our service advisor - Gilbert Pogosyan took care of us and provided us with several rentals, from a regular 328i, to an xdrive fully loaded 335 to a 535 diesel. In addition to taking care of us, Gilbert would often call and check in to make sure I'm doing ok in terms of service and rentals (all paid for by BMW of course) The best part of all - Gilbert would always call me - Mr. Saga ( made me feel old ) and would always treat me with the utmost respect as if I was his number one customer. 1st Experience - 1 star Sales. Went in with my wife looking for a car for her. Couldn't get the time of day from anyone. Walked down the street to MB and drove off in a Mercedes. 2nd Experience - 5 stars Service. Got a 428GC from another dealer, but have had it serviced here. Every time serivce was done right and things were quick and easy. 3rd Experience - 3 stars Sales. Lease is up, did lease inspection all good, just needs tires. They try to get me into another 428GC, but they want $2000 more down and $100/mo more than my current lease. Can't make the deal work. Edit - also BMW LB was $2000 cheaper for same car. 4th Experience - 1 star. Discuss getting and M2 instead. They want $3000 over MSRP. Found an allocation at another dealer at MSRP. Wound up getting car at $2200 under MSRP. 5th Experience - 1 star. Routine car service. 2 weeks later I get the low coolant warning. I'm pretty sure check coolant is on the inspection list, guess they didn't bother. 6th Experience - 0 star. Called to schedule lease return. Had done the pre-inspection 2 months earlier when them. For the pre-inspection they got me in next day. For lease return they asked if I'd be interested in getting into another BMW. I told them I tried with them, but it didn't work out (see above). Then they said they might be able to squeeze me in for a lease return 8 days from now if there was a cancellation. Since I was on a lease extension while my M2 comes in, this costs me $16/day. The Pacific BMW Service Center doesn't do the work they should on a vehicle under warranty. We brought our vehicle in several different times while under warranty expressing that we had concerns about an oil leak that kept occurring. We asked them to take a closer look and do the work that needed to be done while under warranty. Instead they filled my wife up on some more oil and sent her on her way. A few months go by and we are now out of warranty. All of a sudden they detect what they consider a major oil leak issue that can be addressed for the low price of $2,500.00 What a joke. The work should have been done while we were under warranty. I wouldn't trust these guys as far as I can throw them... And unfortunately there are several recalls on the vehicle as well and someone's gotta do the work. Won't be Pacific BMW... That's for sure. Avoid like the plague if you can help it. read more

This is by far one of the best dealership I've visited so far. I bought my BMW X5 at this dealership and the sales rep that was helping me was amazing. His name was Adees Zerateain. This dealership have the X5 housed in several lots and Adees took me around to several different lots just to help me find the car that I really want. The amount of time and effort he spent working with me was just unforgettable. He is by far the best car sales person I've ever met. Unlike other dealerships that I went to, the sales person only showed me one car and when I said I want to take a look at the other ones that they have in stock they normally tell me that they're all pretty much the same. The main reason I bought the car from Pacific BMW was because 1) the sales rep was excellent 2) the price was acceptable I would really like to say thank you to Adees. Negative experience today. The star is for the place cleanliness and what they offer, coffee, water, etc. I bought my car from Pacific BMW, and as a loyal customer when the service was due, I drove 45 miles to get it done there even though I have another dealer 3 miles away. I read the reviews and I should have listened. I got there and the advisor was so out of it, he either tired, sick, had a long night or had a bad day ( it was 9:00 am BTW); whatever the reason was, he wasn't professional at all. In the beginning, I noticed the guy who moves the cars, drive them really aggressive, wheel squeaking, get too fast too close to another car, all in front of me, so what actually they will do when the customer is not there. I had to wait for 3 hours despite the scheduled appointment, it is not normal but I didn't mind. After waiting for 3 hours, they told me the service was done but I noticed they didn't wash the car, the customer service told me they will wash it. Someone changed my music and AC setup, not sure why would anyone play inside the car anyway. Honestly, it makes me wonder if they ever did the service. I would never go back again, I was planning to go back in two weeks to buy another car but I'm going to another dealer for sure. They just lost a customer. Advise to management; Customer service, professional manners, courtesy, caring is the pillars for your success. Especially these are not cheap cars and customer expect a good service. Pacific BMW has the absolute worst service that I have experienced in ALL my years of owning cars. Not sure if it's only Pacific or all BMW dealers that has shitty service because this is my first BMW! I have had Mercedes & Lexus all my life and NEVER had this type of experience! For starters, I have to hunt my adviser down because he is almost impossible to get a hold of. I left my garage remote in a rental and tried calling courtesy loaner dept. and left 1/2 dozen messages and tried calling over 20 times but NO CALL BACK, NO RESPONSE, NOTHING. It was so bad that the scheduling person had to walk over and ask personally because they wouldn't even pick up her call... really? The crazy thing is that once you arrive to the dealer, they always have 1 or 2 people behind the desk and 1-2 people putting people in loaners. They have goof balls standing around but will not pick up any calls! If you think about it....... NO ONE HERE ANSWERS CALLS HERE! I even called and left a message for the service manager last week and today........ but NOTHING! I guess MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO. I will try to talk with the GM and file a formal complaint but NO EXPECTATIONS! If you want half way decent service find another dealer! If you are like me and only option is Pacific, buy something else! I can reassure you that Mercedes and/or Lexus will treat you SooO much better! Thanks to the pandemic the car buying process has been a nightmare. Pacific BMW has taken full advantage of the car shortage and is unapologetically terrible to their repeat customers. Loyalty seems to be of no consideration to Pacific BMW. I purchased a vehicle that was filthy inside and promised that a full detail would be done at a later date... total mislead. The detail was never done, car stayed filthy, my time was wasted and I stupidly, in the interim, referred my friend to buy a new car there. I trusted that they would honor their word and detail my car so I referred her in good faith. What a mistake that was. The car buying experience was also awful for her but alas, her lease was up so she had no choice. Either way, this is the last time I will ever give them any business and will be most certain to tell anyone and everyone at every chance I get to stay away from this dishonest dealership. If you're going to spend this kind of money on a luxury vehicle make sure to spend it at a dealership where they'll have integrity, value your patronage and give you a luxury experience before, during and most importantly after your purchase is complete. As soon as we walked in we were hit with an overwhelming amount of cologne then were greeted by a very lovely young lady who asked us for a phone number and our name. We waited for a good five minutes then asked if we can see the X7 but were told we needed to wait till someone was off the phone??? On December 29, 2019, my husband & I went to Pacific BMW in Glendale to return our old BMW with a newer one based on a flyer that they sent us. We hoped to get the VIP service like we did on our first lease. Our sales person a young gentleman Yesaya was very nice, answered all questions patiently. Once both parties agreed on the deal we decided to go for it, they made us wait about 2 hours to meet with the financial person named "Gary". We asked him what took them that long, his answer was all customers said yes at the same time which was wrong! We accepted the deal prior to the other customer since we were all sitting in the waiting room and can see & hear what's going on. Finally, we were done and were told since it's too late to return the old car, we needed to bring it on January 1st of 2020, and we agreed! So when I went on January the 1st the lease manager looked at the car info & said that I needed oil change, engine oil change etc. etc... he said he can't take the car, I should come back when the service department is open which would be the next day. I went on January 2, 2020, now another problem! I was told I needed to have an appointment with the service department and another appointment with the lease return department that I wasn't aware of. So I left Glendale went back home "Pasadena" & called and got those 2 appointments! This morning, I serviced my car at an approved oil change place to save some time when I go to my appointment. When I arrived at 11:30 to the service department Gilbert said my car was perfectly fine & needed no service he said just go in & return the car. When I arrived to the lobby no one was present, I thought they were closed for lunch! After 15 minutes a lady approached and ask me what my need was? And I told her, she said one moment let me get the lease manager for you, after waiting another 15 minutes he showed up & when he learned that the car was serviced elsewhere the whole dilemma started! The whole idea was to service it at the dealer! He needed a proof that I didn't do the oil change myself! I told him are you kidding me? I'm a female & I have no clue how these things work. I was able to get him an invoice via text & proofed him wrong! By that time he went back & never came out, which made me extremely disappointed after waiting over 2 hours and making 4 visits just to return the car. I told them that this isn't my first time that I lease a car, it's my 5th time and this was the worse experience ever!!! I've brought my BMW's to Pacific for service and they fix my car the first time, every time. I say this because I have been dealing with other BMW dealerships that have been not as skilled in terms of mechanics. Gilbert has been my SA and the man deserves a raise Pacific BMW. He goes above and beyond the level of service I've ever experienced at ANY BMW dealership. The mechanics are truly pros too; as I mentioned my cars were fix the first visit. I've never had to return for the same repair. I bought a CPO vehicle from another BMW dealership that I now regret not purchasing from Pacific. I ended saving 2000 dollars by going else where, but I have lost more than that in my personal time trying to get it repaired for the past 3 months. I finally just brought it to Pacific for service and it its was diagnosed properly. Gilbert set my up with his manger Edgar who was nice enough to go on a long test drive with me to find this horrendous vibration. He was able to to identify the problem and got a BMW representative involved. Again, above and beyond. Unfortunately they can't cover it (it being a bad batch of run flats ), and I have to go back to the original dealership and have them pay for it. Not looking forward to that. Thankfully I only keep my BMW's for a few years and I will be getting my next one from Pacific without a doubt.
